One American has officially tested “mildly positive” for Hantavirus. The United States Department of Health and Human Services claimed that it was one of the 17 Americans being repatriated from a hantavirus-struck cruise ship had tested mildly positive.

The New York Times is being sued for discrimination. The company was served with a lawsuit for passing up a white man for a promotion. The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed the lawsuit on Tuesday on behalf of a New York Times editor who lodged a complaint against the company.

Four other Senatorial budget hawks—Ron Johnson, Mike Lee, Rick Scott, and Cynthia Lummis—flipped their votes to “yes” after slightly greater Medicaid cuts were added to the bill, making it possible for J.D. Vance to cast a decisive tie-breaking vote in favor of the BBB.
