When we discuss the coming civil disobedience and unrest in America, we may find ourselves visualizing protests where the people join together to oust a tyrannical government. Be forewarned. This is not the most likely outcome.

There is no easy fix and we’re going to experience some serious pain one way or another. We suspect Mr. Bloomberg and many of our elected officials already know this. This is why they are conducting military exercises designed specifically for civil unrest, and this is why they are arming our local police forces with assault weapons, tanks, and drones.

The National Terror Advisory System (NTAS), which has replaced the original color coded terror alerts, remains at a “heightened level of vigilance” amid reports that a specific and credible threat was identified Wednesday evening by U.S. intelligence personnel. Homeland Security has as of this writing advised that the threat is as of yet unconfirmed, and the office of the Secretary of Homeland Security has not issued an elevated or imminent alert at this time.

These missiles can go as high as 11,000 feet. Plenty of altitude if you are trying to down a commercial airliner on take-off or approach.
