    Democrats have the legislative path to push through the $1.9tn American Rescue & Recovery Plan through the back door if they really wanted to; it’s called budget reconciliation. This is the mechanism that allows Democrats to vote on the plan, which will ease their path and relieve them from having to gain the support of at least ten Republicans, in order to reach the 61 total “YES” votes needed.

    The Joint Chiefs of Staff have spoken. Issuing a remarkable memorandum to all members of the Armed Forces, the JCS have declared that Joe Biden will be the new president of the United States. The memo may have been not only one to military personnel but also to President Trump: No matter how convinced you are that the election was stolen from you, don’t even think about remaining in power because we will ensure your forcible exit from the White House.

    The COVID pandemic has caused the gap between the ultra-wealthy and the rest of us to grow larger than it ever has been before.  Thanks to the hyperinflationary policies of the Federal Reserve and our politicians in Washington, stock prices have soared to unprecedented heights in recent months.  This pushed the wealth of the uber-rich to dizzying heights, but for the rest of the country, 2020 was an unmitigated nightmare.
