The US Government Printing Office – Chicago Procurement has posted a contract open for bidding for some 350,000 copies of the National Detainee Handbook.

What he said and what he promised are a far cry from what he’s actually done.

At 5:13 a.m. on April 18, 1906, an earthquake estimated at close to 8.0 on the Richter scale strikes San Francisco, California, killing hundreds of people as it topples numerous buildings. The quake was caused by a slip of the San Andreas Fault over a segment about 275 miles long, and shock waves could be felt from southern Oregon down to Los Angeles.

The fate of some of those in the footage is unknown as the water rises so quickly that they simply disappear in the swell carrying cars and buildings.

Is the soil underneath parts of Japan giving way, or is this a normal occurrence following a massive earthquake like the one that hit Japan?

Nothing suspicious here other than the fact that these men are from Iran and Afghanistan, they may have made threatening comments before entering the military base, they were asked to stop and continued on in what was dubbed a “pursuit,” and that one of the men returned and was supposedly lost a second time when he was again caught trying to enter the base.

The only thing historic about this latest budget battle is the historic amount of turd that was dumped onto the American people by politicians on the left, the right, those purported to be part of the original Tea Party movement, and the mainstream media.

A violation of our rights today, becomes everyday behavior a generation from now, until eventually, the America of when we were kids is totally gone, replaced by a new, unrecognizable government, culture and society.

Whether US Treasury bonds are downgraded officially, or through back channels when our creditors decide to stop buying any new debt, makes absolutely no difference. The end result will be the same.

Given the direction things are going, and the sheer scope of the tentacles of the ever-growing police state, it’s only a matter of time before everyone, regardless of lifestyle choice, preferred reading genre, political leaning, religious conviction, shopping behavior, hobbies and interests, will qualify as a domestic terrorist.

Tackling such fundamental issues as government accountability, an end to corporatism and legislative corruption, monetary policy and restructuring or elimination of the Federal Reserve, spending within our means, foreign policy, and individual liberty, the good doctor is without question one of only a handful of federally elected representatives who we could call a statesman and not a politician.
