    The Bundibugyo strain of the Ebola virus that is currently spreading in the Democratic Republic of Congo is continuing to spread, as health care workers struggle to contain the outbreak. At least 930 people have died, although that number is likely larger and expected to continue to increase.

    The Ebola virus is continuing its spread in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Cases have now topped 3.200 while deaths are at 1,405. The outbreak has now spread across 48 health zones in five provinces.

    The US Senate will soon vote on Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell’s nomination to a second term. One of the senators opposing Powell is Elizabeth Warren.
