As the G20 meet to determine the fate of the global currency war, Secretary of Treasury Tim Geithner publicly proclaims, yet again, that the United States will not weaken it’s currency on purpose

The high unemployment rate and continued fear that the US economy will fall back into recession, or that the recession never ended and a depression has taken hold of the country, may be contributing to an increase in alcohol consumption.

Our economy is in shambles – and those folks living down in the affected regions of the Gulf have it much worse off than we do, but for safety’s sake we cannot consume the food at this time – not until public, private and non-profit organizations have provided enough evidence to support that it’s not only safe for human consumption, but will below allowable toxicity levels.

As tens of millions of American families struggle to pay the rent and put food on the table, President Obama and about 3000 of his closest friends and security personnel will spend about $200 million dollars a day when he visits Mumbai, India for four days from November 6th through November 9th.

As corporations began laying off workers in 2007 and 2008, a negative feedback loop began and those who were laid off spent less on consumer goods. As people bought fewer goods, more businesses had to lay off workers. Eventually, many of the businesses have to close their doors, and even the owners join the unemployment rolls.

We can blame Bush. We can blame Obama. We can blame Clinton. We can blame Reagan. However, the laws, policies and restrictions put forth by our Presidents and Congressional representatives have progressively deteriorated our liberties – regardless of which political party was in office or Congress. Until the majority of the American people realize this, no change will come to America – at least not until the entire system as we know it comes crashing down.
