Most media outlets cannot be bothered to report something that dramatically deflates their narrative. So it goes without saying that when NASA confirmed that ocean levels have actually been falling for the past few years, the media would be more than silent.

As the global warming narrative quickly unravels, and leftists scramble to throw accusations at those who dare question the false data, the media brushes facts under the rug. Amidst revelations of scientific fraud, data alteration and faked “hockey stick” data models, the fake news media remains suspiciously silent over the fact that NASA now confirms ocean levels have been falling for nearly two years.

On a NASA page intended to spread climate alarmism (https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/sea-level/), NASA’s own data reveal that worldwide ocean levels have been falling for nearly two years, dropping from a variation of roughly 87.5mm to below 85mm. This data clearly contradicts the false narrative of rapid, never-ending rising ocean levels that flood continents and drown cities. The narrative is climate alarmists key element of the climate change fear mongering fiction that’s used to scare gullible youth into making Al Gore rich.

Global warming alarmists might say this is only a “pause” in the rising ocean levels, and that the long-term trend is clearly in the direction of rising oceans. However, these people wildly exaggerate the degree of ocean level increases to the point of absurdity and have been caught red-handed completely fabricating data to continue scaring the public into supporting a non-issue.

Even in a worse case scenario, sea levels will rise only about a foot over the next 100 years. That amount is far short of what climate alarmists would need to create an apocalyptic event based solely on the weather.  Looking at current events right now, we’d say that Armageddon would be created by a world war or a global economic collapse.

Even a warmer planet would be more hospitable to plants. But again, warmth as a benefit for plant life is not something climate alarmists want to hear. They need their backsides patted by the same lies.

      1. The big chunk of ice that broke off Antarctica would actually be easier to explain with falling sea levels than to explain with rising sea levels – which should have helped to support the ice.

        • Ah yes, that Delaware iceberg scam. Larry Bell, the endowed professor of space architecture at the University of Houston where he founded the Sasakawa International Center for Space Architecture (SICSA) and the graduate program in space architecture noted this about that scam:

“For starters, consider that the entire West Antarctic ice sheet which has truly been experiencing modest warming contains less than 10 percent of continent’s total ice mass.
That other 90 percent has been getting colder, with no decline in polar ice extant since satellite recordings first began in 1979.

Researchers from the University of Maryland, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center and the engineering firm Sigma Space Corporation reported satellite data showing that between 2003 and 2008, the continent of Antarctica has gained ice mass.

As summarized by Jay Zwally, a NASA geologist and lead author of the study, “We’re essentially in agreement with other studies that show an increase in ice discharge in other parts of the continent,” adding that “Our main disagreement is for East Antarctica and the interior of West Antarctica; there we see an ice gain that exceeds the losses in other areas.”
Overall, the West Antarctic ice sheet has been melting at about its recent rate over thousands of years, a condition that will likely continue until either it entirely disappears or the next Ice Age intervenes to enable global warming alarmists to relax. As their domiciles and rose gardens become buried under miles of ice, those worrisome sea levels will likely drop about 400 feet again, just as they did during the last Ice Age.
Meanwhile, the latest iceberg won’t contribute to sea level rise which has been occurring without acceleration at the rate of about 7 inches per century over the past several hundreds of years, long before the Industrial Revolution. Just like a melting ice cube in a glass of water (or whatever), the level won’t change at all.

Can the calving be confidently attributed to climate change (global warming) at all? As quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Kelly Brunt, a glaciologist at the University of Maryland and the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, doesn’t believe so. She said that while the calving event was “way outside the average size,” it lacked telltale signs such as melt ponds.
Dr. Brunt went on to observe that while the collapse of an entire ice shelf could contribute more problematically to sea level rise by helping to prevent ice from the continent’s interior from creeping toward the edge and into the sea, this shouldn’t be a major concern in this instance. Since glaciers originating from a mountain range blocked by Larsen C are relatively small, the potential effects of an entire collapse would be “nothing to lose sleep over.”

Major West Antarctic ice sheet calving is nothing new. A similar event occurred at neighboring Larsen B in 2002. From a scientific perspective this can be expected to continue for reasons none of us, not even by bicycling our pets to the vet or electric carpooling, can control.
There is strong evidence indicating that the West Antarctic ice sheet isn’t melting due to warming surface temperatures, but rather because of natural heating from below.
In 2012 some experts from the University of Aberdeen and British Antarctic Survey discovered a huge one-mile-deep rift valley about the size of the Grand Canyon located beneath the ice in the Western Antarctica. Since this previously-hidden ice-filled basin connects directly with the warmer ocean, they think it might constitute a major cause for much of the melting in this region.

It might also be worth mentioning that a chain of active volcanoes has recently been discovered under that West Antarctic ice sheet as well. While it is believed that eruptions are unlikely to penetrate through the up to more than mile-thick overlying ice, researchers conclude that they could generate enough melt water to significantly influence ice stream flow.

        • Yes, it’s not a trivial rigid cantiliver, but… does the ice really care if it’s being pulled down a foot vs. pushed up a foot?

(okay yeah, probably. The crystal structure is probably way different between top and bottom and one is probably better under tension than the other, but… does the ice really care?)

        • If you want your beachfront property, you can keep your beachfront property ….. for now at least. 🙂

        • Soooo……

Nasa says we are all going to die because of rising sea levels.

Nasa says sea levels are actually falling.

Does anybody actually believe 2.5 millimeter rise or fall actually affects anybody or anything?

          2.5 millimeters is NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          • People have drowned in a inch of water. Gore said fish are swimming in the streets of Miami. Probably making their way to the Sushi Restaurants for some Saki.

            • As my ex brother-in-law sings:

That’s the way that the world goes ’round / You’re up one day, the next you’re down / It’s a half-an-inch of water and you think you’re gonna drown / That’s the way that the world goes ’round…

          • Where is the link to the NASA story about falling sea levels?

        • No, not necessarily. Leverage. As the ice sheet is anchored to land and the sloping beach of Antartica, as sea level rose the are in the deeper water would lift and a chasm/rift could be formed by the inflexibility of the ice. Like a piece of glass clamped on a worktop overhanging the air. You lift up on the glass hanging out…. snap. You’re right though the opposite could work the same way. Remove the support of the water it floats on.. and also…… snap.

My question is if sea level is falling where is the water going to if? Glacial build-up noted anywhere?

          • Its falling off the edge of the flat earth…of course….(sarc off)

            • My only question is, if it really is falling off the edge of Flat Earth…Where does it all fall TO? Can I go there, I will jump off it that’s the case…

          • Evaporation?

        • Check out the NASA link, this article isn’t being truthful. I don’t believe that man is necessarily driving global warming, I think its probably the earth rebalancing… but the NASA data shows a trend of increase over years and there is not a sufficient sign of decrease to merit this article.

        • The graph from NASA shows that ocean levels are up approximately 8cm (3″) since 1993. They may drop a mm or two over days and weeks, but the trend is clearly up.

        • Clicked the link. The chart shows it is up in the last 2 years despite the authors claim. Do your own investigation you sheep.

      2. Dr. Richard Lindzen, professor of atmospheric science at MIT, Dr. William Gray, generally considered the #` hurricane forecaster in the world, and John Coleman, co-founder of the Weather Channel (go to YouTube and search for “John Coleman+global warming” and see what he says for yourself” have all called AGW – and I quote ipssisima verba, “a scam.”

Patrick Moore, co-founder of Greenpeace, has stated now that:

“I am a skeptic on climate change. I know the climate is changing, and it always has been. I’ve studied this intensively over many years. I started what I call the Carbon Project here in British Columbia back in 1989 in order to bring everybody together to discuss this subject and figure out the facts behind it. Since then, I have watched as hysteria has grown, as if the whole world is going to come to an end and civilization is going to die because of humans causing this climate change. I don’t buy that, and I certainly know we don’t have any proof of it. I’m not denying that we might be playing some role, but the natural factors that have always caused climate change have not suddenly disappeared. I’m very skeptical of the alarmist nature of climate campaigning.”
Quote is multiple places, including http://www.theenergyreport.com/pub/na/11079

        • William Gray considered the #1 hurricane forecaster….

Sorry, my proof reading is about as good as Al Gore’s science

        • It was never about proof, it is about CONTROL.

          • JS, that’s true and the damn carbon tax is just another source of revenue for them to waste on whatever pet projects they choose.

            • Financial Stability Board just estimated $73 freaking TRILLION to be spent over the next 15 years on this non-issue.

Basically, we will now have a million Soylndra’s on our hands. BIG GREEN MONEY indeed.

      3. And what is the actual presence of CO2 in the atmosphere? Just over 400 ppm, or around 0.04%, up from 320 ppm, or 0.032% 50 years ago. Of the remaining percentages, nitrogen amounts for 78%, oxygen 21%. Of the 1% that then remains, 90% of that is argon, with less than 4% of that 1% being carbon dioxide (these percentages exclude highly variable water vapor, which is usually around 1 – 4% of the atmosphere – and a much more major contributor to global warming, estimated at being 50-90% of the greenhouse effect). Of course the logarithmic effect of CO2 means each additional increase has less impact that the prior, same sized increase.

Even more, about 96 to 97% of carbon dioxide comes from natural sources, such as animals, plant decay and volcanoes. , In fact, relative to volcanoes, former FDA investigator Dr. Arthur Evangelista, noted that the 2010 eruption of Eyafjallajokull in Iceland emitted, in four days, enough CO2 in four days to negate every single effort mankind made that year to reduce CO2. But this volcano was a piker compared to Mt. Pinatubo, which when it erupted in the Philippines in 1991 ******“spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race had emitted in its entire 40 MILLION YEARS on earth.” ****** And this doesn’t include that fact that, as he notes the “bush fire season across the western USA and Australia this year alone will negate your efforts to reduce carbon in our world for the next two to three years. And it happens every year.”

        • Remember when the Liberals were complaining that cow farts were the major contributor to green house gasses.

That was funny and evil. The liberals were telling us that this was bullshit while pointing at bullshit.

But don’t disagree with them or they will get you.

          • Liberals believe you can pick that bullshit up by the clean end to rightly deliver it. Cow farts, carbon taxes and unconstrained runaway nuclear reactions, we have come far Pilgrim Stiner, just in the wrong direction.

          • JS, I’ve ALWAYS disagreed with libturds and they NEVER get me. They never will, period.

      4. time to put some people in PRISON….and you can start with Al Gore.

        • buttcrackofdoom, fraud is still a crime, last time I checked.

Rob a gas station or steal a loaf of bread and get ready to do 10 -20 years, but attempting to steal Billions/Trillions and get a Nobel Prize.

Science used to deal in facts, now it’s about lies and deception like everything else. It looks like the Father Of Lies is in charge now. This world has become corrupt through and through.

          • Fraud is only a crime depending on who the victim is.

Fraud the American people, no crime.

Fraud the wealthy like Bernie Madoff….life in prison.

            • JS, it’s interesting that Madoff’s victims were all members of the tribe. Chews getting chewed by one of their own. Ain’t that rich?

        • Have you paid your carbon tax today ??? If not, it might be you !!! 🙂

      5. A 2.5 mm rise is almost impossible to measure on a global scale. It means nothing.

      6. When you are prophesying doom and gloom, it is good to be wrong. There are too many possible crisises that might come. It would be one less. If the ocean levels continue to fall, how long will it take to make them reconsider. It is more likely they will revise their theories to allow for temporary falls in ocean level. Sane people would be glad to be proven wrong.

        • When your income is from prophesying doom and gloom it is bad for business to be wrong.

That is why everybody that is issuing prophesies these days always start with, “who correctly predicted the housing collapse in 2009”

      7. BTW, the sea level has been rising on a consistent basis since the end of the ice age. A few years ago, The new GRACE satellites showed sea level rise from melting ex-Antarctica and Greenland is half of what was previously estimated (0.41 +/- 0.08/mm/yr, while the high mountains in Asia are 1/10th what was previously thought (0.01 mm/yr.) DDP reports that, overall, including Antarctica and Greenland, all melting may be adding 1.48+/- 0.26 mm/yr. Run for the hills.

Also a few years ago, for your reference, I had a detailed summary, including graphs, summarizing the rise of ocean levels, see http://web.mac.com/sinfonia1/Global_Warming_Politics/A_Hot_Topic_Blog/Entries/2008/3/19_At_Sea_Over_Sea-Levels.html. Basically, this site states that sea level is never constant, and that the “sea-level remains at its lowest for the last 240 million years, despite a rise during the last 22,000 years of around 120 m; current sea-level is rising in cms per hundred years, and this trend is likely to continue, with or without ‘global warming’, although it may slow if we enter a new cooling phase;” The Danish scientist Bjorn Lomborg wrote in Canada’s National Post Oct. 17, 2008 that since 1992, satellites have measured sea levels, noting a 3.2 mm increase/yr. Unfortunately for Mr. Gore, the previous two years to that showed a slight drop in sea level, and Lomborg also noted back then that “the heat content of the world’s oceans had been dropping for the past four years where we have measurements.” In fact, in 2011, the Washington Post reported that sea level had dropped ¼ of an inch! (strangely, the article attributes this to heavy rains in Brazil; the Post also notes in this article “A tide gauge study back then of sea levels in Australia and New Zealand, published in the Journal of Coastal Research, provided readings that suggested the rate of ocean rise has declined in the past decade.

Another report I have from a few years ago, from http://www.heraldextra.com/news/opinion/article_e642454a-35b3-57dc-9a75-e7bee5853a9b.html quotes Nils-Axel Mærner, who is chief of the paleogeophysics and geodynamics department at Sweden’s Stockholm University. Maerner stating that sea level has “risen by about 1 millimeter a year from about 1850 to perhaps 1940. That’s a tiny amount. But then sea levels fell. There’s no trend, absolutely no trend.” Regarding the IPCC report on rising ocean levels Maerner said the IPCC team didn’t record ¬– i.e., actually see — such an increase. It was a “correction factor” of a computer model. In other words, Mærner said, “It is a falsification of the data set.”

The article also discusses the Maldives Islands sinking into the Indian Ocean, which Morner has visited. What he discovered from the people living there that there was a sinking of the sea level — in the 1970s; however, this may have been caused by non-oceanic factors. Nevertheless, the new level, per Maerner, “has been stable, has not changed in the last 35 years.” The polar regions melting? “Antarctic is certainly not melting,” Maerner said, and “All the Antarctic records show expansion of ice.” The problem, to Maerner, is that the warmers have no background in sea-level research. “So all this talk that sea level is rising, this stems from the computer modeling, not from observations…The observations don’t find it!”

Dr. Klaus Ekart-Puls, physicist and meteorologist, has also noted about sea level that “it’s important to remember that mean sea level is a calculated magnitude, and not a measured one. There are a great number of factors that influence sea level, e.g. tectonic processes, continental shifting, wind currents, passats, and volcanoes. Climate change is only one of ten factors.” Sea level rise, according the Ekart-Puls, has risen 100m from 10,000 years ago (as noted elsewhere, the Romans and Vikings didn’t drive SUVs), but from 1900 to 2000 sea level rose only 25 cm – a slowdown even though CO2 and temperature rose from the LIA See http://notrickszone.com/2012/04/26/klaus-ekhart-puls-sea-level-rise-is-slowing-down-theres-going-to-be-no-acceleration/ for full details on the subject
For completeness on the sea level issue, see Dr. Tim Ball’s summary graph, found at http://drtimball.com/2011/when-sea-level-change-is-not-sea-level-change/, also show no precipitous rise

        • Test,

Thanks for the information and the documentation. It is sad when scientists and politicians and the media come together to disseminate and perpetuate a hoax in order to line their own pockets and enslave the world to their particular brand of socialism. If people want to talk about fear porn, the global warming people have perfected it!

          Louisiana Eagle

      8. I’m sure the climate clingers will say this drop in sea level is because of evaporation from the heat…………..

        • I think the earth is getting larger. More girth, less impact of surface water.

          • Everyone knows things expand when heated, and contract when cooled. Clearly, global warming has gotten SOOO out of hand the Earth itself has actually expanded from the heat. This expansion naturally increases surface area of the ocean, and thus the drop in water levels. Lol

I’m just waiting for the bullshit excuses. Climate Change, like all religions has a hard time coping with evidence that contradicts their approved version of things.

          • That has been cited before……..and I go with that.

      9. More Lies and B.S. and stories exposed….serious joke, all of them and their narratives.

        _Jimmy_

      10. Found this thru RT and a link to, ahem, cbs “news”.
How does your state rank in firearms?
        Some surprises here.
Maryland #11 if I recall. DC, although not a state, #2, and Wyoming #1.
Remove the space between the ht-tp and remember, this is cbs sourced, based on population.

        ht tp://www.cbsnews.com/pictures/most-heavily-armed-states-in-america/

        • The CBS data is misleading because it only measures fairly recent purchases at gun stores ignoring private sales and how those sales are distributed (1 guy owning twenty not the same as 30 armed households). There is a record of sale of only 10% of my firearms and all of them were purchased when I lived in another state or inherited from family. The ratio of armed households is a better indicator of rank.

      11. “Lllllllet me tell ya about the birds and the bees, and the flowers and the trees, and sun and the moon…”

They all didn’t get the cataclysmic script, nor do they subscribe to YouTube.

Does climate change happen? Yes sir. Does is follow a Hollywood time scale? Nope.

Put this another way. In the movie The “Ghost Busters”, when the deity Gozer ask’s them to choose the form of their destructor? We all laughed at Ray’s choosing of the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man.

The truth be told, he should have held up a mirror.

      12. Ive always said climate change is CRAP as if it was true, then why are governments NOT supporting solar on ALL roofs & hydrogen fuel technology for cars etc?
It was called global warming to start with & when proved wrong it was re named climate change!

        • Climate change was ALWAYS about control.

That is why we a have “Carbon Tax”…..That you can buy out of.

      13. Obama said he was going to lower the ocean levels. I’m waiting for him to take credit.

        • I thought we was going to walk on water, not lower it.

      14. The fact that the sea level is falling is because of global warming. When the air is warmer it is capable of holding more moisture. So the sky has more and denser clouds because they have sucked the water out of the sea. Soon the whole world will be obscured by clouds so dense that vegetation won’t be able to complete photosynthesis and then all the plants will die. When the plants die the polar bears will die. When the polar bears die then everything else dies too. I’m not a meteorologist but I did stay at the Holiday Inn Express last night.

      15. Global warming is a complete hoax. A total 100% lie. For decades now, we’ve been peppered with one lie after another.

30 years ago, I had teachers preaching (lying) stating the corn belt would be in Canada by now.

As a little guy, i didn’t believe it at all. My common sense easily won out even at a very young age.

Earth’s oceans rise and fall naturally. That’s how it works.

We are simply not affecting the Earth’s atmosphere on a planetary scale.

Earth’s atmosphere is approximately 1% of Earth’s total mass.

It has been estimated that the atmosphere weigh’s around 6 quadrillion tons. This weight creates the air pressure surrounding our bodies.

There is around 1.5 – 2 trillion tons of recoverable fossil fuels remaining in Earth’s crust.

We are releasing a few billion tons of this stored energy worldwide each year.

Sure, mankind can foul rivers, create poor air quality in small isolated areas called cities.

However, the amount of tonnage released every year has zero effect on the atmosphere as a whole.

Hypothetically, if all of the remaining fossil fuels were released in a short period of time, it would temporarily affect the atmosphere probably by a degree or two.

Consider these rough estimates when consumed:
2 trillion gross tons of fossil fuels

30% of that tonnage would be in the form of heat energy that is dissipated into outer space.

15% would be fly ash, soot, or the remains of the spent fuel

55% of that tonnage would be released into the atmosphere using various forms of treatment (or not treated in third world countries).

In 1883, Krakatoa erupted sending untold 100’s of billions of tons of ash, sulfur, etc. into the atmosphere at one time.

Temperatures were affected by approximately 1.2 degrees, and weather patterns were affected for approximately 5 years.

And what happened? The atmosphere ‘healed’ itself completely. That’s how it works.

The Earth’s atmosphere was designed to handle this teeny tiny amount of fossil fuel exhaust as well.

I suppose when all the economical fossil fuels have been exhausted, the future liars will begin preaching about how the next energy source (whatever it may be) is destroying the planet.

      16. Follow the money. Follow Al Gore and his one time accomplice, former Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson. TPTB also want an energy tax on western countries for redistribution to the third world. A world energy tax where you don’t have a vote or a voice. They determine what your tax will be. After all, you use too much energy. Yankee dogs.

        • We need a white people tax.

Since white people reflect the sun more so that black or brown people, in turn causing more warming……

a tax on skin color could be justified.

          • JS, a white people tax? DAT’S RACIST!

      17. Oh no! The warming is worse than we feared. The planet is becoming a desert and drying up even the oceans, as we watch. Will no one come to their senses?

      18. Maybe it’s because of evaporation that could have happen as a result of global warming.

      19. I just looked at the graph on the NASA site you posted.
It shows a long upward trend in sea level with a few dips along the way. If you do a “best fit” linear regression of the data points the slope is upward.

I’m not seeing the what you are claiming. I am seeing the opposite in the data you use for proof.

I am far from the “green is the new red” camp but wtf?

        https://climate.nasa.gov/vital-signs/sea-level/

      20. NASA? How can one believe them, when there is ample video of them “landing on the moon” : there is no dust. How can the flag be flapping in the wind if there is no atmosphere? Am i the only Copernicus that thought of that? No crater from the module landing? Big bag of hooey has been sold to every American, dammit.

      21. The climate changes on a long timescale.

The problem is the weather extremes we are having with 500 and 1000 years events occurring regularly.

Last week we had a 1000 year event with close to 5 inches of rain in an hour. Nothing recorded has been this much. Even Agnes in 1972 did not put down that amount and that was a hurricane.

Makes it hard to grow food with weather extremes. Too dry or too wet and if you depend on your own crops, could mean starvation in a SHTF situation.

        • 5 inches an hour?

That happens every day along the Texas Gulf Coast.

I’ll start getting worried when it is about 22 inches an hour.

          • It is extremely unusual for central PA.

      22. Running out of water. Not good. Stock up now.

      23. Sea levels rising. Sea levels falling. Eggs bad for you. Eggs good for you. Hottest year on record. Blah. Blah. Blah.

F*cking stupid a** scientists. What GITMO of the soul did our professional politicians take these idiots to that they would betray science? It’s like watching the downfall of Superman.

But on the bright side, looks like I can buy that sweet place in Key West, Florida I have been looking at. Maybe even the beachfront house on St. Johns, in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

        • GITMO of the soul did our professional politicians take these idiots to that they would betray science?

          MONEY, that’s what.

        • Blame-e, I lived in S. FL for a few years. The FL Keys USED to be a real paradise but not anymore. It’s been ruined by the LGBT crowd last I heard. My last time down there was in 97 and the place was already ruined to some degree at that time.

          • DB: Everything use to be a paradise. Ever notice that there are no more bare-chested naked island girls anymore? I have never seen even one bare-chested naked island girl in my whole life.

      24. Damn!!!!
Uncle Al said that the eastern sea board as we know it would be gone in 10 year. (that was 5 years ago.) Maybe he meant to say that it would be larger????

The earth will change and there isn’t a DAMN thing we can do about it.

Live for to day a prep for tomorrow.

        Sgt.

        • I spent all that money on ocean front property in Arizona…. 🙁

          • JS, if you sell me that property can I get the Golden Gate free? LOL!

        • There goes my Upstate NY palm tree farm investment.

Can I sue Al Gore, or can I just call him a former VP named Sue? What a jerk.

      25. here is a common sense test

put two nice sized ice cubes in a glass, now fill it to the brim with water

come back in a few hours..

is there any water outside the glass on the table?

Ice melting into the sea that was already floating in the sea raises nothing !

        • Don’t confuse the scam with logic!!!!

          • or anecdotal evidence….God forbid people learn something besides junk science, and learn real provable science…Where would we be then…..Normal I would think.

      26. Yeah, Mike Adams on his website PROCLAIMS that NASA said sea levels are becoming lower– yet when I go to the NASA WEBSITE, THERE IS A BLANK PAGE— hm…

And Mike Adams, yeah, he HAS TO KNOW MORE THAN THE WORLD’S LEADING CLIMATE SCIENTISTS… right? after all he is a regular citizen with no back ground in science.

        • That didn’t stop Al Gore from inventing the internet.

          • Funny how our professional politicians can get control of the internet, but can’t get control of Al Gore.

      27. fographic: Sea level rise – NASA: Climate Change and …
        https://climate.nasa.gov/climate_resources/125
We know seas are rising and we know why. The urgent questions are by how much and how quickly. Available to download, this infographic covers the science behind sea …

      28. Mac, PLEASE– go to the REAL NASA website– I just went there!!! It says, “We know why sea levels are rising..” RISING, RISING, RISING!!!!

        • …..because of George Bush?

          • Obama did it.

            • The rising water is caused by beer brought from the Colorado mountains and pissed off the back of fishing boats.

        • the (N)ever (A) (S)traight (A)nswer site?

Honestly who believes Anything their government tells them anymore? If you do, WHY do you believe? Any lie is ok to believe when your actual religion is to whoreship liars…

      29. I posted NASA’S REAL website in above post. Unfortunately, it takes two hours for my post to show up!!!

        • That is because your posts have to be screened by the NSA for terroristic threats….

      30. FROM NASA WEBSITE: (If you go there, they have a gragh too, which shows dramatic rise in sea level). RISE!

“Sea level rise is caused primarily by two factors related to global warming: the added water from melting ice sheets and glaciers and the expansion of sea water as it warms. The first graph tracks the change in sea level since 1993 as observed by satellites.

The second graph, derived from coastal tide gauge data, shows how much sea level changed from about 1870 to 2000.

        Learn more”

        • Since when did NASA get into the climate change business?
i thought that was NOAA’s job.

      31. from NASA website– the Washington post article:

“Sea level rise isn’t just happening, it’s getting faster”
        ——————
If you go to NASA’s real website, and tap on the above article where it says, “learn more” you will see outstandingly beautiful pictures!! 🙂

        • I’ll wear myself out posting comments in your numerous comments. Dammmmm.

      32. type in “nasa sea level rising” and see for yourself. NASA’s REAL website is about 3 down from the top.

      33. Or… just be a sheeple and say what is convenient. Bury thy head in the sand…. like the Jews. PRETEND global warming is not happening.

Believe the KOCKs brothers and their lies– keep spending money to the benefit of the fossil fuel industry– JUSt be sure you don’t have any little kids, who will inherit the shit that is about to happen from the burning of fossil fuels!!!

      34. Or… just be a sheeple and say what is convenient. Bury thy head in the sand…. like the Jews. PRETEND global warming is not happening.

Believe the KOCKs brothers and their lies– keep spending money to the benefit of the fossil fuel industry– JUSt be sure you don’t have any little kids
who will inherit the hell that is coming their way

      35. Why would someone print a lie when anyone could go to the real website, just 3 websites under the “sgtreport” website and see the truth??? the sgtreport is OBVIOUSLY BS because all you have to do is go to the REAL NASA website, just 3 lines down!! (??!!)

      36. TYPE IN: “nasa sea level rising” and see for yourself!!!

        • I typed in “nasa sea level rising”…. all I got was PORN!!!!!

          • Google has you pegged, don’t they?

        • I got the leftard approved porn…Snopes.com

      37. NASA WEBSITE:

In at least the third such study published in the past year, scientists have confirmed seas are rising, and the rate of sea level rise is increasing as time passes — a sobering punchline for coastal communities that are only now beginning to prepare for a troubling future.

What was a 2.2 millimeter per year rise in 1993 was a 3.3 millimeter rise in 2014, based on estimates of the mass changes of a number of key components of sea level rise, such as the melting of the Greenland and Antarctic ice sheets, the study in Nature Climate Change found. That’s the difference between 0.86 and 1.29 inches per decade — and the researchers suggest further sea level acceleration could be in store.

The chief cause of the acceleration was the melting of the Greenland ice sheet, which went from contributing under 5 percent of all sea level rise in 1993 to contributing over 25 percent in 2014, the study found. The loss of ice in Antarctica and smaller glaciers over the same time period also contributed to quicker sea level rise.

The increase in the rate of sea level rise “highlights the importance and urgency of mitigating climate change and formulating coastal adaptation plans to mitigate the impacts of ongoing sea level rise,” write Xianyao Chen of the Ocean University of China and Qingdao National Laboratory of Marine Science and Technology

        • If NASA said it… it must be true.

        • Calm down Al Gore.

      39. In the Caribbean sea levels haven’t changed noticeably in decades.
But the beaches are a damn lot smaller because the idiots have been taking the sand to build hotels and homes…mixed with cement, like there’s no tomorrow.
On the island of Vieques off Puerto Rico, the fine for getting caught with a 9 cu. yard truck full of sand is a whopping $16.

        • So really the cost of 9 Cubic yards is 16 dollars?

Sounds great, except the Puerto Rico part.

          • JS, agreed about Puerto Rico. I used to have trouble with Puerto Ricans when I lived in Miami. They hate us more than Mexicans do and will try to hurt you faster than a Mexican. Puerto Ricans are not good people.

      40. When I was younger, I questioned my own intelligence even though I was tested and found to have a good mind with a sufficiently high IQ. There were so many things that did not make sense. Most people did not seem to grasp these inconsistencies and it seemed they got it. I finally realized that they did not get it. There was not something wrong in my calculations. There was something else at work. The idea that 90% of knowledge was a total lie was beyond my thinking. But, little by little, I began to learn that everything in Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, HISTORY, and some Science, not to mention, religion and politics, news, TV & movies (knew this was twisted), books of all sorts; it was ten per cent truth and ninety per cent lies.
        _

      41. Oh, come on Mark, this is sad. Talk about Fake News and Bogus Chart reading….has no one taught you how to analyze data?

Have you rocket scientists never read any kind of measurement chart before..nothing is a straight line up or down, there’s always noise, just like any Peak Oil chart, it’s bumpy… This drop mentioned is just chart noise from taking the high point to the current point. If that’s how you guys measure trends then I’d love to see your analysis on any other chart based fact.

Draw a freakin trend line idiots.

Pick any point on this chart prior to January of 2015 and compare to the most recent reading, and it’s is SIGNIFICANTLY higher.

      42. The professors and schools are scrambling for the grants given by the people who will profit from the carbon tax?

      43. For the decent people trying to become teachers. If you record what you need to remember on a mini tape recorder . And listen to it over and over all day , and play it while you sleep. They say Shirly Temples mother played the radio low while she slept. And if you want to learn a language. Play it while you sleep. It might work for some people?

      44. Remember when factories were targeted for “smog pollution” which in turn was said to be causing “acid rain”?.I guess NAFTA took care of all that by sending Millions of US manufacturing jobs overseas..Notice “acid rain” was seldom mentioned after NAFTA was signed off on..I guess all those countries that were given our jobs are on a different planet than we are and “acid rain” is no longer a concern..Then we had that Gigantic hole in the Ozone..What happened to it? Did it get plugged? If not,why haven’t we heard updates? Has it grown? Shrunk?..If you look back you’ll notice a pattern to all of this that dates back decades..About every decade something “new” has come along and has been hyped as the worst thing imaginable and replaces the former worst thing..All one has to do is some research on those who have benefitted the most from the GW campaign and made a fortune..Notice the Lavish lifestyles they live and how much they waste..Within seconds you’ll start realizing it’s ALL bullshit and simply about Control and MONEY…

      45. Let’s be positive. It’s not lower sea levels, it’s just more beach.

      46. Maybe the seas ARE’NT rising … maybe the continents are sinking! It’s a subjective Reality after all…
