Putin watches the latest fictional drama unfolding inside the United States – the scourge of “fake news.”
Fake News has become an epidemic; and treason, espionage and an aversion to the collapse of American prosperity and dignity has taken over the people of the Internet, bewildered by all the disinformation that flows from it.
Just a short time ago, the Washington Post, going off an unverified source on the Internet, outed some 200 covert propaganda agents for Russia. Some, the CIA-tied paper imagined, were working directly for the remnants of the KGB; others were dupes and stooges for Russian influence. Some had just seen reports on RT and other non-Western media outlets. Oh my…
Plagued by ideas and loose facts, a covert cell of “alternative media journalists” have – apparently – betrayed their country by bucking mainstream media talking points and daring to defy the unspoken rules about pointing out the naked empire in which they live.
Given that Hillary was cheated out of her rightful position by foreign hackers with implicit Eastern bloc footprints (fact), and that Russia interfered with the election results to put in their puppet Trump (also fact), it is apparent that Putin’s post-KGB network has been quite successful.
Among those revealed to be aligned with the politics of the former Soviet sphere – apart from this site, SHTFplan.com – is a dangerous loose cannon who has advocated for so-called peaceful relations between the U.S. and Russia and also talked badly about the neocons quietly operating the shadow government. Fortunately, he has now been outed, and the world is a safer place.
With his cover blown and in danger of facing jail time for treason and espionage, Paul Craig Roberts, former Assistant Treasury Secretary, former Wall Street Journal editor – and more recently, a vocal opponent of Washington’s disastrous foreign policy, wrote an open letter to President Putin requesting a Russian passport and a diplomatic cover position.
The nerve.

I saw that you gave a passport to Steven Seagal, so I am hopeful that being a Russian agent is as important as teaching martial arts to Russians.
I don’t know what the pay scale for Russian agents is, but whatever I have coming to me please deposit in a Russian bank. The Swiss banks are no longer useful as the Swiss government allowed Washington to write its banking laws. We need to get on with this ASAP as the Washington Post has the FBI on my tail. They will be very angry at me for deceiving them all those years when I held top secret and higher security clearances while I was a Russian agent. Any day now the Washington Post might discover that my fellow KGB agent Ronald Reagan and I cut taxes on the rich in order to make capitalism so oppressive that the American people would rise up and overthrow it. Better have someone bring me the passport and diplomatic appointment. I would be nabbed by TSA if I fly to Washington to collect the documents. A diplomatic appointment is better than asylum, because Washington, like the old Soviet Union, doesn’t recognize political asylum. Just ask Julian Assange.
Don’t let the Atlanticist Integrationists convince you that my exposure as a Russian agent is just a CIA ruse to plant an agent on you. My criticism of Washington’s policy of raising tensions between nuclear powers and support of your policy of reducing tensions is not spy cover. I really do prefer that the world not be blown up in thermo-nuclear war. This is a suspect view in the US, but I hope it is an acceptable one in Russia.

They have officially acknowledged that they will consider Paul Craig Robert’s passport application – a wink and a nod that they are in rendezvous to recover one of their top assets (fact: a free thinker and dangerous foe of the American way).
As Sputnik reports, this will free up Robert’s to write his Russian-sponsored memoir ‘My Life As a Putin Stooge’:
The Kremlin is ready to consider the issue of granting the Russian citizenship to Paul Craig Roberts, former US Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy, if he were to file a corresponding application, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tuesday.
“A corresponding application needs to be filed in order to receive citizenship. It will be considered if it is filed,” Peskov told RIA Novosti.
Seems like confirmation of a massive takeover operation on the part of Putin, and a nearly-successful front in the ongoing information war. Boy, that was close.

I think the important point you make needs to be extended. If, on some sad day, the people’s reps and then the required number of States ratify an Amendment to the Constitution that repeals one of the Bill of Rights, we are NOT bound to recognize it. For instance, the 2nd Amendment stands for as long as we have a Constitution.
If one of these foundational, God given Rights Amendments is overturned, there will be Blood.
