Ex-Obama Staffer Admits Facebook Allowed Them To ‘Break Rules’ Because Of Political Bias

Do you LOVE America?

Add another log to the bonfire of Facebook controversy! A former staffer of Barack Obama’s admitted that the social media giant, Facebook, allowed the Obama campaign to break the user data rules because Facebook was “on their side.”

Yesterday, Facebook’s stock tanked after it was revealed that the social media giant gave user data to a firm, Global Science Research (GSR), via an app. This data was then given to Cambridge Analytica, a firm that was working for Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. But it gets even worse. Facebook has been known to censor right-leaning voices and often has been a mouthpiece for the corporate media and leftist policies.

According to Townhall, some have noted a similar mining tool used by the Obama team, but they gathered information through their website (with permission from those who engaged) and the armies of volunteers, which was then matched with voter profiles. Yes, still a bit creepy, especially since the campaign boasted that they probably knew every single one of the 67+ million voters who supported President Obama in 2012.

Many have figured out that various social media platforms and Google itself have an inherent left-wing bias ingrained in the services. Well, one former data officer for the Obama campaign, Carol Davidsen, admitted that Facebook allowed them to break the rules because they were on their side.

First, she tweeted a Time magazine piece showing what the 2012 campaign did to gather information:

In the final weeks before Election Day, a scary statistic emerged from the databases at Barack Obama’s Chicago headquarters: half the campaign’s targeted swing-state voters under age 29 had no listed phone number. They lived in the cellular shadows, effectively immune to traditional get-out-the-vote efforts.

For a campaign dependent on a big youth turnout, this could have been a crisis. But the Obama team had a solution in place: a Facebook application that will transform the way campaigns are conducted in the future. For supporters, the app appeared to be just another way to digitally connect to the campaign. But to the Windy City number crunchers, it was a game changer. “I think this will wind up being the most groundbreaking piece of technology developed for this campaign,” says Teddy Goff, the Obama campaign’s digital director.

That’s because the more than 1 million Obama backers who signed up for the app gave the campaign permission to look at their Facebook friend lists. In an instant, the campaign had a way to see the hidden young voters. Roughly 85% of those without a listed phone number could be found in the uploaded friend lists. What’s more, Facebook offered an ideal way to reach them. “People don’t trust campaigns. They don’t even trust media organizations,” says Goff. “Who do they trust? Their friends.” –Time

Davidsen then detailed on Twitter how representatives from the social media company were surprised how much data they mined, adding that they were “very candid that they allowed us to do things they wouldn’t have allowed someone else to do because they were on our side.”

Davidsen added that she’s 100% sure that Facebook recruits folks to handle the GOP side of things, but what is known with absolute certainty, is that the tech giant was willing to allow one campaign to break the rules because they agreed with their leftist and collectivized agenda.

What we have here is an admission from a Democratic campaign manager that the most powerful social media platform in the first world is currently lending its untold amounts of data to a specific political party’s purposes. This, folks, is what “election meddling” looks like.

China Is Days Away From Killing the Petrodollar

        by Nick Giambruno, Senior Editor

As I mentioned last Wednesday, Trump’s new steel and aluminum tariffs are part of a larger, escalating battle between the US and China.

China is rapidly displacing the US as the dominant global power. This shift is inevitable. China’s economy will be twice as large as the US economy by 2030.

This leaves the US with limited options…

It could kick back and let China displace it as the most powerful country in the world.

It could start a military war with China.

And it could push the current trade battle into an all-out economic war against China.

I think a full-blown economic war is the most likely. Under President Trump, it’s all but certain.

That said, the Trump administration seems to underestimate China’s position—in both the short and long term.

        • “Without your space suit, Dave, I think you’re going to find that rather difficult.”

          Aka manufacturing base…

        • If we assume that just half of Chinese oil imports will be purchased in gold soon, it translates into increased demand of well over 60 million ounces per year—or more than 55% of gold’s annual production.

Of course, China won’t be the only country using the Golden Alternative. Anyone will be able to.

The increased demand for gold is going to shock the market. That’s why I think the price of gold will soar.

-Just half of Chinese oil imports
-Absorbs more than 55% of annual gold production

………………………………. yeah you don’t see a problem here?

How much gold can you print?

      2. Off topic:

Silica is a mineral that many people are deficient in.

Silica makes nails strong. If you have weak or brittle nails, supplement with silica. Silica keeps your bones strong as well. It helps to grow hair (horsetail) contains silica. Silica helps to keep skin soft and supple.

You can grow the grass known as horsetail and put it in honey, vodka, or apple cider vinegar for a month or three. Horsetail supplements are sold at health stores.

__ For schizophrenia take niacin, Vitamin b3. Schizophrenia may be a b3 niacin deficiency.

It is illegal to claim that a Vitamin or Mineral or food can cure. Why? Profit and suppression, oppression, control.

These statements are my own opinion and may be wrong. Always consult a doctor before etc., etc.
Freedom of Speech? Freedom of thought? Freedom of person and possessions?

_ Facebook is a symptom of a suppressive society sickness. Find a cure.

_ use at your own risk

        • B from Ca, I’m going to kid you a bit. Are you having one off on us all? Was that a very nicely written exposition to tell us to ‘go pound sand’? Hair, nails, hoofs… all are based on the keratin amino acid molecule chain. No silica/on; rather, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and depending on particular instances the inclusion of possibly sulfur, sodium or carbon. Orthosilicic acid is used by the human body in the bones, tendons, aorta, liver and kidneys. I can only assume you’re referring to the diatomaceous earth applications, right?

        • Nails are made of proteins, which do not contain silica.

      3. I don’t know the human requirements for silica but its in well water and real difficult to remove it. Its source is dissolved sand.

      4. It doesn’t matter what’s exposed. The GOP are useless lap dogs of the left. There for looks and a show only.

      5. Certainly the Libturds used Facebook or any other excuse to try and perpetuate the federal power they had acquired during the Odumbo reign of terror. “Reign of terror” you question? In what other way can you describe: 1) Lois Lerner and the persecution of conservative groups, 2) A**Holder and “Fast & Furious”. 3) Susan Rice and the perpetuation of a lie for a month after the Benghazi terrorist attack, etc. The free gathering of information by Facebook should never have been used to consolidate power in any single political party. Snowflakes, please don’t demonstrate your idiocy by claiming Facebook doesn’t have a libturd bias.

      6. Yes he can Obammy slithers off into the cracks to plot more BS behind the scenes. Who would not have beat McCain and Romney.. please..lmao. The American people are easily led into voting for any crackpot liar. Proven time and time again without fail. The Kenyan yes man perhaps the biggest fake out as president ever pulled off.

      7. Why does anyone with any degree of sense use Facebook in the first place?

If a product or service on the internet is free, it isn’t the product.

        You are.

      8. All social media sites have the same race-based censorship policies in place. Any white people who speak their minds get their accounts suspended or shut down. Facebook and Twitter are both the most notorious for this. You NEVER see any MINORITY PEOPLE’S accounts get suspended or shut down when they speak their minds. All sensible white people need to just abandon the anti-white social media. It’s not worth it.

      9. No Fakebook for me! I only trust what I can see and touch with my own eyes and hands.

      10. You don’t suppose the Russians really did hack and manipulate the results of the 2016?

What if Mark Zuckerberg is a Russian Jew? [sarcasm. kind of.]

Shut Facebook down. It is a criminal enterprise.

Shut DARPA, Facebook, the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, the CIA, the Department of Justice, and organizations connected to this mess down. They are ALL criminal enterprises.

Again, an American Citizen cries out in the wilderness. Why aren’t these people — the Clintons, the Obamas, Zuckerbergs — in jail?
