On Friday, the traditional day of the week for quietly releasing big news that will hopefully be ignored by the public—and also obscured by the Fort Lauderdale Airport shooting—the chief of Homeland Security announced that his office will be taking over US elections.
If you can’t see the coup in progress, you need to keep looking until the message comes through.
Read carefully—ABC News reports. My comments are in brackets:
“Citing increasingly sophisticated cyber bad actors and an election infrastructure that’s ‘vital to our national interests’, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson announced Friday that he’s designating U.S. election systems critical infrastructure…”
[Also known as: “we’re taking over.”]
“’Given the vital role elections play in this country, it is clear that certain systems and assets of election infrastructure meet the definition of critical infrastructure, in fact and in law’,” Johnson said in a statement. He added: ‘Particularly in these times, this designation is simply the right and obvious thing to do’.”

“The determination came after months of review and despite opposition from many states worried that the designation would lead to increased federal regulation or oversight on the many decentralized and locally run voting systems across the country. It was announced on the same day a declassified U.S. intelligence report said Russian President Vladimir Putin ‘ordered’ an influence campaign in 2016 aimed at the U.S. presidential election.”

DHS would also be able to grant security clearances when appropriate and provide more detailed threat information to states.”

“The Obama administration has proposed international cyber rules for peacetime that would expressly note that countries shouldn’t conduct online activity targeting critical [US] infrastructure, which will now also include election systems.”
[Also known as: “in case there is any doubt, elections systems in America will be property of the federal Executive Branch.”]
This is a coup.
This is equivalent to declaring a national state of emergency, including martial law: the DHS, if it deemed it necessary, could utilize armed agents to enforce the new directive and take over states’ offices that resist.
Election-processes belong to the states. But not anymore.
And of course, with this awesome new power, the DHS could intercede, behind the scenes, in the voting process and rig elections.
There is an additional aligned factor at work in this op: the proposed elimination of the Electoral College—yet another measure designed to “federalize” the election process.
Most people are entirely ignorant of the fact that the Constitution was a pact among states. With reluctance, the independent states agreed to relinquish certain specified powers to the newly created central government, while retaining all other powers.
The Electoral College was, therefore, a natural invention, because the states would maintain crucial influence in determining the outcome of presidential elections. State Electors would cast their presidential votes based on which candidate won in their state.
Eliminating the Electoral College now would add one more layer of federal control over the whole country, and take control from the states. More centralization.
Imagine it. Only the popular vote counts. The states are dumped. And on top of it all, the Dept. of Homeland Security has the power to run the election process as a piece of “critical infrastructure.”
Rigging the vote in New York and California, plus a few other populous states, would decide the election. And in time, no one would think about “New York” or “California” as separate entities—because they wouldn’t be. They would just be “more land and people” that are part of “wholly unified” America.
This is perfect for the “unity politicians” who spout empty rhetoric every chance they get—“we’re all in this together.” As I tirelessly point out, such slogans are nothing less than covert ops, and their goal is roping in as many dullards as possible under a messianic banner of A Better Life for All under a Beneficent Government.
Also known as: we the rulers decree, you the people submit; your survival depends on us; we give and take as we will, and that shall be the whole of the law.
Eventually, why have presidential elections at all? Just allow the DHS to determine which candidate will best serve the needs and desires of the controllers.
It’s cleaner, simpler, and more direct.
It’s a coup.
Will Trump cancel it?
Obama is basically challenging him to do it—which would create one more firestorm in the press directed at Trump.

The timeline is clear. One: Hillary will surely win the election. Two: Trump won the election. Three: Trump won because Russia “hacked the election” in his favor. Four: We must protect our national election process from foreign hacking. Five: Homeland Security must put itself in charge of national elections.

Russian based groups (APT28 and APT29) with suspected ties to the Russian government DID hack the DNC and John Podesta. I have proof. I work in Information Security (The press and politicians call it Cyber Security even though most of us hate the term.) and just like the FBI can profile someone, hackers can be profiled on methodologies and tools used. There a lot more ways, but I won’t go into that.
There are three things to think about here though.
1. It was pretty easy to see who the culprit was. This sends the message that they didn’t care to try and obscure the methodologies more. The other thought, but not taken as seriously is that some other group did it and made it look like the two above groups. Not likely though. The two above mentioned groups are very sophisticated and it would take a level of effort that very few nation states have. NSA anyone?
2. Whomever hacked the DNC, Podesta and Hillary, did not fake any documents. All of things said by these slime balls is all theirs, no one put words into their mouths. A public service was done here. Yes technically illegal.
3. There is no indication that actual vote tallies were tampered with by these groups. Someone else tampering with them is a different story.

There was NO HACK. There was a leak of stolen emails by Seth Rich, and the DNC killed him for it.
We have evidence! Just like in a murder investigation, there are tools and techniques to help find the murderer. Many of the general public understand this because of shows like CSI and Forensic Files. We know about how they can get a fingerprint off of a dead body and how they are used to help find the one who did it. The same with DNA evidence. What isn’t generally understood are the tools and techniques used in Information Security. During what we call a breach (Hack) there is forensic evidence left behind. The more skilled a Hacker them more they can cover their tracks, but just like with a murder, sometimes things get overlooked during cleanup and sometime there is no ability to cleanup.
As for the DNC breach and Hillary. After reviewing their security practices, they were idiots. They practically asked to be hacked and would have easily been hacked. Kind of like walking in the Ghetto dressed real expensively with Gold chains and $100 bills hanging out of your pocket. If you don’t get robbed by a 12 year old it would be a miracle.
As for Seth Richards leak. I don’t know about it. He may have been doing that along with them being hacked.

The DHS needs to explain to the American people just what occurred or was planned to occur on election night when DHS attempted multiple hacks into the vote tally computers in the state of Georgia.
The attacks went on for hours, and were defeated. During the term of the attacks, the major networks delayed calling the state for either candidate, even though Trump was clearly ahead and would remain so. Only after the attacks were defeated by the state’s IT personnel did the networks finally call Georgia for Trump, with it’s 10 Electoral votes.
Add the Electoral votes for Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin, where Hillary clearly thought their victory was assured, and hacking the state of Georgia, just one state, becomes clear evidence of an attempt to rig the election.
DHS claims the attacks were due to a ‘rogue employee’.

Mr. Trump. Here is the work-around: simply agree that this is critical infrastructure. You thus pre-empt the leftist whining that you don’t care. You then assign the security of that to the STATES to ensure no voting fraud occurs. Concomitant with that, you bring in requirements for valid voter ID, as this whole Russian thing shows how important voting is (wouldn’t want any illegal Russians voting now, would we!). Sad that Hilary will lose 3 million illegal votes in CA., but that is the cost of stopping Russia… right?

The Russians were not accused of altering the vote tally; DHS was in Georgia. The election process is so decentralized that it was impossible to do it except at a local or state level. Hence, DHS’s desire to centralize control. Case closed!

1. Every state will require a State ID where USA citizenship is proved to receive the ID and then used to vote.
2. Every state must us a paper ballot with a scan machine leaving behind a paper trail.
3. The sheriffs of each county is required to oversee the election and to verify election results.
4. At the voting place you can attach a bar code to your vote as you place it into the scan machine. Using the copy of the bar code you can verify how your vote was counted 24hrs after the election.
They are all costumed clowns…in this case they wear a suit and tie costume. They expect that by wearing a costume (especially if trimmed in tin badges) this denotes power and authority to do as they please.
There are only two choices. Government or liberty.
