The world is anticipating a new global reality with huge implications: China’s yuan is poised to get recognized as a global reserve currency.
In a sign of the times, the IMF has essentially rebuffed U.S. claims of currency manipulation, to instead affirm that China’s currency is “no longer undervalued” – essentially giving its approval for the inner circle what many have described as an incubating world currency.
China’s yuan currency, which Washington has long alleged was manipulated, is “no longer undervalued”, the International Monetary Fund said Tuesday.
The value of the yuan, also known as the renminbi, has been a source of tension for years, with China’s major trade partners — led by the United States — accusing Beijing of keeping it artificially low to give Chinese exporters an unfair competitive advantage, which Beijing denied.
“Our assessment now is that the substantial real effective appreciation over the past year has brought the exchange rate to a level that is no longer undervalued,” the IMF said in a statement after a consultation mission to China. (source)

With longstanding U.S. opposition to China’s currency status, the IMF decision has been seen as the biggest hurdle to world reserve status. This news brings China one giant step closer to entry onto the global stage of currencies and new financial norms for Americans, as SHTF has long reported.
The decision underscores a larger shift in the global balance of power – there is no doubt that there are serious cracks in the foundation – as the U.S. petrodollar has lost its potency as the world reserve currency hegemony.
U.S. allies have been easily won over to recognizing China, and partnering with its Asian Infrastructure Investment bank, signaling a new era for finance under globalism. The new currency will be pegged to a global basket that China is part of.
What will this new currency look like, and will it become a reality? A mining executive shed light on the manipulation of gold behind the scenes, with a quest for parity undervalue that is encouraging China to accumulate gold at a rapid pace, so that it can hold reserves equivalent to those the U.S. reportedly holds:
I think there will be a reset of the financial industry…
I think China is being allowed to accumulate gold purposefully by the American government… I believe that the Chinese need to own at least the same amount as the U.S. owns before this reset occurs. I think that there’s some kind of deal that’s being made between all the central banks behind the scenes and that’s why you’re seeing governments accumulating the metal.
I do believe there will be some kind of new currency created with the backing… and it might not be a direct backing of the metal… but it’ll be some kind of blend of currency.. it could be through SDR’s… Special Drawing Rights… or some type of mechanism… I think that’s where we’re going.
It could mean a major shake up to the norms that Americans and other westerners have been accustomed.
But beyond that, the currency will ultimately be digital. Cash will likely be banned to enhance control, and all payments will be authorized and monitored. Through a new wave of bank fees and fines, and (outrageously) charges for deposits, average people will be hurt on all sides of transaction by money that has been thoroughly debased and manipulated.
The Federal Reserve bank and its owners, the largest banks on Wall Street, want badly to be able to charge you interest for the privilege of depositing your funds. The problem is getting you to stand for it.
The cashless digital grid will become fully a tool of banker control that is global in scope and backed at its root by central planning at central banks supported by a system of total consumer surveillance over spending, exchanges and all other transactions.
Listen to more about IMF’s revaluation of the Chinese yuan, discussion starts at 8:50:
That’s been the plan for years. When the reset does take place it will be the same Banking Cabal just with a different face. The Chinese along with the AIIB and BRICS just want a bigger piece of the pie.

We sure seem to be there now???
As Confucius once said..”bird in hand make messy fingers”. OK he didn’t say it. 🙂
What confucious said was “he who go to bed with itchy butt wake up with smelly fingers”
LMAO. Good one.
I have a Franklin that says that China will NOT be a WRC until the FED says so and the FED is NOT gonna say so this year. Any takers? 🙂
The FED controls the IMF, not Legarde.
Food for thought: How does the push for a cashless society (supposedly Federal Reserve, etc., and other banking entities are holding meetings this month regarding implementing a cashless society) play into China’s yuan being declared a WRC? Can you have a WRC in the face of a cashless society, since currency would essentially be rendered a relatively moot point?
PWY: While the prospects of a digital currency are real, and become more so as time passes, the likelihood of a digital currency any time soon is nil. Its years away.
The Yuan will be a reserve currency way before then, but only if the Chinese are willing to play by the FED rules. But not this year, and not unless China is willing to make “concessions” to the NWO, rather than exercise its independence.
Read: South China Sea and Spratly Islands activity. A decision is coming from the World Court soon with respect to China’s actions there.
If the ruling goes against China rather than the Philippines, and if China fails to honor that decision (and I think it will) this would put it at odds against its neighbors and the USA under International Law, hindering the Yuan’s reserve currency status. 🙂
Americans (and other nations citizens) need to contact their federal/national and state representative to demand laws that prohibit fees for deposit, withdrawl or bankcard daily use in place of cash use. If they want to outlaw cash then the can not charge ANY fees for these services.
If enough people write, email or call it will slow this process down. In the meantime individual states need to get laws on their books, that can not be overwritten once the Federal government hands itself over the the UN. These laws must outline strict protections for bank users in a cashless society or allow full cash use inside of that state. They must also outline strict privacy protections against ANY agency outside the banking industry. No fees and no access to how e-money is used or no e-money for that state and cash remains in use in that state.
It is up to us to push our states and Congress. I admit Congress is mostly a total loss but if they fear a backlash it will slow things down. That time can be used by each state.

BTW… You never answered my question: Who gets your vote for Der Fuhrer in 2016?

@DK,
1. China holds 1.6 trillion of U.S. debt. Just the thought of that being dumped on the open market at half value causes shuddering throughout the FED.
If China dumps just 75 billion per month at a discount, The U.S. won’t be able to sell a note for the next 3 years and the Fed will need to print print print.
2. The threat of the BRICS. As we all know, any financial institution needs customers to stay afloat. The U.S. can threaten Europe not to become a BRICS customer. However, Africa, South America, New Zealand, and Australia will be customers. The IMF will lose half of it’s customer base if the BRICS comes into existence.
3. North Korea. Since 2013, North Korea has pretty much been on a short rope because of China. China has said to North Korea, you can play with your toys but you cannot put them on the world’s stage in a meaningful way.
Rally your people, yes. Threaten other countries thereby starting an arms race. No.
If China doesn’t get reserve status, they’ll take the rope off of Un and a global arms race will start. The U.S. too will have to ramp up….but where will the money come from?????. There ain’t no one left that can fund an arms race.
Thus, U.S. economy literally collapses.
4. Chinese Military Expansion. Their building man made islands and they aren’t stopping. I’m not sure whether World Reserve Status will hamper that but if they do get world reserve status, I bet there will be some dampening of the build up.
China is in. It is what they’ve wanted all along.
CS: “1. China holds 1.6 trillion of U.S. debt. Just the thought of that being dumped on the open market at half value causes shuddering throughout the FED.”
LMAO! No it doesn’t. Why would it? The loser would be China all the way around. China would get less and less on the open market for the bonds (price), while buyers would acquire those bonds at a big discount and an even BIGGER yield.
The market would suck up those low price bonds like a HOOVER!
Quit believing the internet meme (bullshit) and concentrate on the fundamentals of the financial aspects of buying and selling that debt. 🙂
2. The IMF isn’t a “financial institution” it is an investment FUND create to exploit the development of the third world.
Since its inception it has only invested $200 billion dollars of its members funds; primarily to facilitate trade for the third world, so that the first world financial institutions and central banks do not have to accept “zimbabwe dollars” to facilitate that trade.
In terms of the Global Economy $200 billion is “parking meter money”. The IMF under Lagarde is desperately seeking
relevance. It has none. It is a bit player in the scheme of things. 🙂
CS: “2.The IMF will lose half of it’s customer base if the BRICS (Bank) comes into existence.” (my add)
The best thing that could happen for the BRICS and everyone else is for the IMF to disappear. Its irrelevant today, except for the employees who work for it.
In the past ten years western banking has withdrawn $1.6 TRILLION from the BRICS economies.
If the BRIC’s manage the BRICK Bank like they run their own economies it will be more corrupt and inefficient than anything in the West including the Federal Reserve. 🙂
CS: “3. If China doesn’t get reserve status, they’ll take the rope off of Un and a global arms race will start. ”
LMAO! Where have you been? The global arms race has never stopped for the USA or China, only Russia. The Chinese were soooo far behind that it will take them another ten years to MATCH current US capabilities.
The same is true for Russia. The collapse of the Soviet Union destroyed the MIC of Russia and it has only now begun to turn around. Yes it has quality, but no quantity which is why it too needs another ten years to MATCH US capabilities in conventional forces.
The world will spiral into war because the NWO has a marked advantage over both Russia and China and will never be stronger with respect to either, or both.
It’s now or never for the New World Order. 🙁
That is not true. When the US Congress failed to approve the new IMF changes by not bringing it to vote by 1/1/2015, the IMF went to Plane B. If Congress had approved the changes, the whole package of changes would have to be voted on by IMF and would require an 80% to pass and the US could have vetoed the whole thing, But they did not! Plan B entails voting on each individual change and only requires a 70% vote which the US cannot veto because they do not have the votes.
Someone above made the comment “same banking cabal with a different face”. I totally disagree. Both Russia and China go to a country to make deals. The US and the west go in and rape and pillage. One of the reasons the Brics were formed is to give countries an alternantive to the IMF and world bank, (the west)
from their financial terrorism by setting a up a competing bank so countries could prosper. They realize that if they help a country to flourish the more trade and profits result, not to mention a loyal partner in other ares!
jj
jj: Current IMF rules require 85% of the voting membership to approve any changes to IMF activities. The USA hold more than 16% of the voting rights.
The FED controls the IMF. 🙂
The Fed is losing influence fast on the world markets, if not this time then most likely next time )what is if, 5 years till the next reset after this one?).
Right now there are other currencies (i.e. the Yen) that are becoming undesirable and I think there is a sentiment to replace or mitigate them, the Renminbi seems to be on the up and coming side of things.
The Fed is Dead. We are broke and a debtor Nation for the next 200 years. Welcome to the Chinese Century. China and Russia are the worlds dominant powers now. And there nothing we can do but sit back and watch
China has openly stated that they will go to war, if the US continues to interfere in their island project. So, the whole money issue might be moot…
China is a paper tiger and cannot match US military capabilities, particularly our blue water navy, and they know it.
They are bluffing or they will get their ass handed to them on a platter. They need another ten years and a lot more theft of American technology. 🙁

I’ve been learning Chinese at the local restaurant.

I asked for “flied lice” at the Chinese restaurant last night and the waitress said “that’s FRIED RICE, you PLICK!”
We’ll be paying more for everything.
“V”
We are going to pay more any way whether China takes over or not.
Just look around you in the last 7 years everything you have purchased has gone up over 10%. Obullshit has another year and a half left and it is going to get worse.
Sgt.
Especially eggs, turkey and ducks. If you can find it try and get ahead of the game and find a turkey to freeze for Thanksgiving ‘less you don’t mind eating ham then. Lot of things happening and changing. Try and keep ahead of the ball. My chickens (layers/duel breed) are going on four years. Time for me to cut’em loose and get some young birds in. Went local and found someone with biddies/pullets. Will do the deal this weekend for 30 layers of which some will go in the freezer at 18 to 20 weeks old. I could take these 14 (present) old birds, kill’em, scald em and them grind them up for feed for the dogs but for the labor it would be esier to take ’em to the landfill and go buy a 50# bag of dog food.
Dont raise it if ya dont eat it.
Them old birds are fine for stew , soup and chicken salad sandwichs .
You can can it as well and the meat will be tender.
Dont let your layers get so old ! LOL
Yer lossin production , and dinner !
MMMM , shredded chicken with gravy and mashed potato,s sounds real good right now .
yup!
The IMF knows that the FED has been printing like mad so lets come up with an excuse for robbing the people and blame it all on China, rinse and repeat.
All this has the backing of zionist bankers from Israel or the USA would be trying to bomb China but what i like about it is that the pigs in the USA who are known as the police will find there pensions are next to worthless.
The pigs pay more attention to what FIFA is doing than bankers at home so let them live with the results like rest of us and eat cat food when they fancy a bit of meat.
A.S.s
What does Police Officer pension have anything to do with China becoming the new world global currency?
It is nice to get that check every month from the City, and the two checks from the factory.
Until it stops coming in I will use it to prep and if I have to eat cat food so be it, but I’m a Country Boy and I will survive.
You sound like one of those Turds that haven’t worked for more that a day in your life, and you are not going to get pension. You are just jealous, aren’t just admit it Troll!
You won’t last a week when TSHTF. Which is good that you won’t. That way You won’t be wasting the air & water that the Good Folks on this site can use.
Go away TROLL. We don’t need you.
Sgt.
The fiat USD being crashed by China has everything to do with the purchasing power of a pension.
You sound like one of them Turds that thought you could trust the government to “Invest” part of your earnings to make you live happy ever after in your old age.
When TSHTF you won’t last long without things your lost money won’t buy so piss off troll, we don’t need you.
Agent Smith: “The IMF knows that the FED has been printing like mad so lets come up with an excuse for robbing the people and blame it all on China, rinse and repeat.”
China has printed 15 times the Yuan, than the FED has printed the dollar, in the same period of time.
Additionally, the yuan has made it into the hands of the Chinese people; whereas in the USA, the dollar has primarily been left in the Member Banks reserve accounts to cover their losses and bolster their liquidity ratios.
On top of that, Chinese corporations have 14 TRILLION in debt, consumers are spending less, GDP growth is declining, revenues are dropping, and Chinese Corporations are starting to fall into bankruptcy, one by one.
The danger to the world economy is from China and Europe, not the USA, and I said that here more than two years ago. I say it again.
The last I looked, the Chinese stock market was selling at 71 times earnings. That market is going to crash, investors will lose all of their funny money, and the Chinese economy will tank, falling into its first Recession. 🙁
Durango:
You are dead on, China is as broke as the USA, but we are the best looking person in the ugly factory right now.
Another thing to think about is were do you think the IMF gets its money to lend to counties like Greece, Spain, and any country that is having money problems. The USA, of course. IMF is just like the U.N. they get their money from us then stab us in the back every time they get the chance.
I know you are going to say they get their money from the EU., but not all the money comes from Germany.
Also If the currency goes digital then the Dollar the Yuan want be worth anything because you will not be able to buy anything with it.
All we will have is credits to buy things with. TPTB will be able to control us even more and stop us from buying defensive weapons and survival supplies so get it now and you will not have to worry about it later.
So I can see China’s Yuan getting some ranking but not the global reserve status from the USA right now, in a few years, maybe but not now.
The reason I say in a few years I believe that there will be a global monetary collapse, depression or what ever you want to call it, because every country in the world have over printed the currency and do not have the funds to back there spending.
You try buying more things than you can afford and just getting a new credit card to pay off the old one that paid off the older one that paid off the oldest one. That is what all the countries have been doing for the last 16 years. If you did that, Can you say, MEN IN PIN STRIPPED SUITS WEARING SUN GLASSES KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR!;-{
S.T.S.F.P. N. Reb
China’s ghost cities are EMP resistant because everything is turned of.
Good reply
China has been printing due to a growing ecomomy and thats not the case in the USA who also prints like mad.
$14tr in debt is nothing to what the USA has and i am not sure i can agree with some of you other numbers but i will take it on board.
Agent Smith that 14 trillion in debt is only the debt of Chinese Corporations.
The Chinese government has a debt of about 250% of its GDP while the growth of its GDP is declining, and the US has a debt to gdp ratio of only about 105%.
Not only that but the huge amount of silver and gold flowing to China is being rehypothecated and leveraged many times over for new fraudulent loans.
With no transparency behind the numbers in China AT ALL, there is no telling what the real economic situation is there, but when the Shanghai stock market is selling at 71 times earnings; as opposed to 18 times earnings for the NASDAQ, (which is commonly understood by ALL including the FED to be overvalued) …..
Where is the PONZI Scheme? 🙁
A lot of the time when one nation looses its status as the money of the world. A WAR is started or there has been a war just before the fall.
We have been pissing away for almost 15 years now in the middle east. Been tearing down nations and then putting into power people we wanted and then they screwed them and let the muslims take it over. For what these turds have been fighting with each other for 1500 years and we think we can change it.
Thank God I’m in my 60’s and won’t have to live too long though this. I just hope someone stands up and stop this clown that is in office now letting our country go down the drain.
In the last 7 years I have seen this country go down the drain more that any of the last 4 presidents. His hope is to change the USA into a Commi state. Whit China as the top dog in the money. we will become a Commi country. Or there will be a war of all wars.

What has your racist rant got to do with Money and China anyway.
Pull in your banker puppets or someone will do it for you because the world has grown tired of a mad pitbull snapping at everyone who thinks it’s the worlds unelected policeman.
IMF, Central Banks worldwide, and simply the entire banking cartels must be destroyed and their owners must be hanged regardless of their physical appearances such as different eye shapes, big noses, beard or shaved, business attire etc. The mother of all corruption lives in London under a famous family name and their puppets are operating worldwide. Worldwide cleansing is the only option to exterminate the %1 parasites.
Do you really think the USA has been sitting by not doing anything about what’s coming? All of this deficit spending has been used to acquire future backing (metals and resources) for a new US Treasury note. As soon as the world turns its back on the Federal Reserve Note in favor of something else, this action will cause the Federal Reserve value to drop to nothing and will cancel our debts forever.
All the USA has to do at that point is roll out a fully backed dollar and restore everyone’s bank accounts dollar for dollar, and this will regain dominance everywhere. If you want to do business with the USA, you will have to do it with US Treasury Notes, period.

I beat the draft in ’66. I enlisted. 18 years old and I knew it all.
If this goes down the demand for US dollars drops significantly. The result is a huge drop in purchasing power which we refer to as high inflation. Things will get very expensive very quickly.
Although not complete, this In effect will be a great leveler of the worldwide standard of living and ours will drop greatly.
All of the banksters/govt. enities will reap what they sow eventually, but it’s the little guy who will always get shafted.

Ah!! we don’t have to worry about all that stuff anyway, according to some there is a 2.5 mile wide rock heading our way and it is going to hit in the Atlantic off the coast of Brazil, sometime around the middle of September, 2015. Dog gone it there goes my pig hunt the first of October….NUTZ!!!!

Because, after all, those folks noted above have done such a MARVELOUS job to date of bringing us the housing bust/2008, putting us trillions in debt, the debacles of QE I, II and II, putting derivative obligations at orders of magnitude beyond global GDP, ad nauseam.
Jim Rickards, who knows these people, says quite explicitly that these “masters of the universe” (the same PHDs that brought us the LTCM crisis n 1998, which, if you recall, almost melted down the whole world economy… LTCM was whole firm full of PH.Ds and Nobel Prize winners) have NO idea what they are doing.

Re: China’s rise…
I wonder if the spiritual fabric of the country is related. Christianity is growing in China.
Christians Now Outnumber Communists in China – Dec 29, 2014
“Though the Chinese Communist Party is the largest explicitly atheist organization in the world, with 85 million official members, it is now overshadowed by an estimated 100 million Christians in China. It is no wonder Beijing is nervous and authorities are cracking down on Christian groups.
Christianity is growing so fast in China that some predict that it will be the most Christian nation in the world in only another 15 years. By far, the greatest growth is coming outside the official state-sanctioned churches, which are rightly considered subservient to the Communist Party. Numbers are increasing, rather, in unofficial Protestant “house churches” and in the underground Catholic church.”
I attend Bible study led by a retired missionary. From his colleagues, he has learned that underground Christian “house churches” are growing very quickly in China. Missionaries will establish a new “house church” and stay at a location until there are 100 members and then move on to a new location. This takes only about a month. They have communities waiting to have a “house church” established.
http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2014/12/29/christians-now-outnumber-communists-in-china/
Christianity entered China in the 700s AD, and actually made quite a bit of progress, until it was repressed (at the very latest, Christianity entered India in the 300s, possibly earlier). There is a very, very important book put out by a Chinese Christian called Faith of our Fathers, by Chan Kei Thong (yes, yes… insert joke here __________) that tracks God’s work in China throughout antiquity. Definitely worth picking up, then donating a few to libraries around the area. I have.
In other words, there were Christians in China and India long before my Swedish ancestors even heard of Christ. There could be as many as almost 100 mm Christians in China right now, but don’t quote me as I’d have to look it up.
Korea too.
And Korea was much, much larger then than now and only marginally independent of China.
Interestingly, in Korea even trade in Western gold instead of Korean or Chinese gold was outlawed when they went against Christians who brought it with them along with Western merchant trade. You got caught with it you got executed, but I imagine a large number of goldsmiths made a rather decent clandestine living melting it down and recasting it as something else before it was found.
FWIW and IMO, Chinese Christianity is far stronger and truer to the word today than that watered down go along to get along stuff we get presented with in the West (Where even Hillary seems to think she has the right to dictate what the Church should be doing, placing herself above God).
TEST,
Thanks for the info. I will have to find and read that book.
i’ve drawn up plans on how to kill zog spy blimps at 10,000 feet.
* here’s a hint… you ‘use a blimp to kill a blimp’.
anyone can do it, just read up on weather blimps, remote control aero stabilizers and attach a carriage to it to deliver your buckshot payload.
you can cannibalize a $400. uav toy for parts.
You are my new hero
..use blimp to kill blimp …love it
all one has to do is create their own independent money transaction system.
And if the zog fedgov shows up to stop you, exercise your 2nd amendment rights.
the 2nd amendment was created for a reason by our forefathers.
now is the time to use it.
Just force those zog fedgov folks my way, and I’ll handle it from here on out. You’ll know when you have reached your destination, sign says [showers – this way]
Thanks in advance and for your loyal support.
Ha ha ha, your a gas 🙂

Like Ham Chuk told Peterson in the movie the Green Beret:
YOU FUNNY!!!!!!

Gold: “I believe that the Chinese need to own at least the same amount as the U.S. owns before this reset occurs”
I think all gold the US has is in paper. That’s printed up as needed, SO no reset yet. Bullion was missing from WTC after 9eleven. Wonder who got that?
Also they haven’t stole enough wealth from the middle class yet, we have to be completely destroyed. Don’t worry it’s all been predetermined. Just be ready.
If you hear we should be backing USD with gold that’s because elites have all the gold. It would work the same for them to maintain a chock hold around your neck.
Roman satirist Juvenal asked this question 2,000 years ago, and it STILL is not answered: “Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?” – Who will watch the guards, or who will control the controllers?
Perhaps it will be Geo. Soros… same guy who recently refused to pay a $7 BILLION tax bill (poor guy… probably living on Kraft Dinner right about now; besides, I thought socialists LOVED paying their taxes!See http://www.getbriefme.com/s/1Z9p/http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/05/01/george-soros-reportedly-could-face-up-to-7b-tax-bill-after-delaying-payment-for/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+foxnews%2Fpolitics+%28Internal+-+Politics+-+Text%29 for verification ) As many on this site have noted, the re is a push to return to neo-feudalism, aided and abetted, as Churchill once said about the Nazis, by perverted science.
And isn’t it interesting that Hitler did, in fact, win WWII. It just took an extra 50 years or so. We have a police state the Gestapo could only dream about, including banking and quadcopters; the planks the National Socialist Workers’ Party adopted in Munich, Feb. 1920 (please google this for your own verification – reads like something right out of a Nancy Pelosi/Dirty Harry Reid playbook) are in full sway across Europe and with the “Yes we can/Yes we have no bananas” mindless chanters, who collectively now owe over $1 freaking TRILLION in student loans for their degree in 18th C. Belgian Lesbian Musicology.
There are two flies in the ointment that the elite have neglected, in their frantic arrogance.
a.) There is reality. As I think it was Adams who said, facts are stubborn things. We have the vile, evil, disgusting leftist media spinning for all they are worth, but that cannot change anything. As Horace said (65 – 8 BC), “you can drive nature out with a pitchfork, she will nevertheless come back.”
b.) Secondly, the often forgotten book by CS Lewis, the third part of his so-called space trilogy, foresaw this whole thing (the non-fiction version of this is The Abolition of Man). The whole story presages what we are seeing today, though it was written over a half century ago. But long story short: I’m sorry to disappoint the elite, but there is a God, and – as philosopher Francis Schaeffer wrote in his eponymous book, He is there. These people are – literally – playing with spiritual powers beyond their ken. And Lewis’ work, this ended up consuming the people who were dabbling in the matter. Essentially, they are playing with *demonic* forces. Literally.
There’s one other piece of the equation: The Austrian school of economics, particularly as evidenced by von Mises’ book Human Action, notes that the totality of human action – and in particular economics – can never, ever be captured by central governments. Period, end of story. That is why, EF Schumacher wrote his book, Small is Beautiful.
This mad scientist experiment cannot work, just as Hitler’s mad work could not, and did not. The only question is – as with Hitler – how many MILLIONS will die as a result of this latest arrogant idiocy. National Socialism killed what, 3- 40 million? It’s even uglier sibling, communism (make NO mistake – they are two related twins) killed, according to Oxford Univ Press’ The Black Book of Communism, around 100 million (Dr. RJ Rummell at U. of Hawaii put the number maybe as high as 170 million, but that includes all govts). Google him for details – I think the site is powerkills.edu or similar.
In sum, we are talking evil. Just evil, pure and simple. Not the axe murderer kind of evil, but rather the kind that would kill prisoners in Nazi camps, then go home and watch an opera with the wife and kids (I have seen pictures of Himmler on family outings…. looks like your average middle class avuncular dorky uncle Fred).
There is one hope though: Prayer and education. You learned something from this article. Teach others. Pull a “Yes we can/Yes we have no bananas” lemming out of the bog. Talk. Write letters to the editor. Leave flyers on windshields. The work is totally non-violent; but it IS harder: we need to risk social (and socialist) ostracizing, but persevere.
Otherwise, here will be the result, as Charleton Heston noted years ago: “Modern media fills the cultural airwaves with a mist of anesthesia, so that principles and values are slowly desensitized to the coming onslaught. The new culture arrives on the heels of this propaganda. It simply moves in and takes over, like slipping a fine new glove over a numbed hand. The outcome of the war is just as devastating, but without bombs bursting , twisted bodies to bury, or rubble to rebuild. A new class, a different culture, simply takes over.””
damn well-said. Thank you so much! Posting it elsewhres as necessary.
Outlaw cash, huh? I’m sure that’ll be as successful as when the government outlawed Booze, drugs, prostitution, etc.
Nothing insures a more vibrant and thriving black market than when government forbids it. Where there’s a hole, energy eventually floods in to fill it. The hubris of these so called “leaders” is laughable; and stupid. Btw, when has any government program, initiative, endeavor or project ever been “successful”. Law of unintended consequences will surely manifest itself if this ever comes to pass.
Now I can see paying for, say, prostitution with drugs or booze or booze and drugs with prostitution, but won’t it be a bit difficult to pay your mortgage with prostitutes?
The black market won’t go away but almost all of us need the legitimate financial system to buy and pay for our life unless we are living on the streets or under bridges and such.
The prophecies tell us there will come a day as we approach the end of days when our money -our cash- will be useless and we can’t engage in any financial transactions unless we accept the marked system that tracks and controls us.
Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.
No mortgage, no car loan, no debt. Our state takes silver and gold as payment for taxes. Assimilate THIS! 😛
That’s a good plan, until the USSAG stakes claim to all PMs domestic and foreign. Foreign, as in off shore.
NO fuel for vehicles, no gas and electricity to your home, no food from the stores, no medical care, no medicine, no phone or internet, etc.
Take a hard look at everything you currently buy with cash that you cannot do without or trade your drugs or prostitutes for.
BTW, how many years of property taxes do you have stored up in gold and silver, particularly if the taxes double or triple? And if the new cashless system requires the State to quit accepting it and require payments through the system, what then?
I’m guessing you and almost everyone else will just assimilate. Reality, when it shows up at your door, tends to change attitudes real quick like.
I will never, ever be “assimilated” by your 666 Mark of the Beast programme. Period.
“legitimate financial system”: No such thing, hasn’t been one since 1913 here in the land of opportunity.
Genius, US currency is debt, you only pass it on to the next willing participant, a vicious circle with usury attached. Like you I own no one and am in the process of building a another house from pocket, further out than I am now but never far enough.
No Fear Brother
Many here have smartly invested in China economy that will produce a return far greater than they ever imagined but if you want to liquidate your Chinese commodities I am interested if you have norincoyellow box 7.62×39 or even the spam cans of the copper wash jewel wrapped in paper the ak47 and sksare great
I want your China assets like steel core 7.62x,39 norincoyellow box or the spam cans of Charlie ammo have to like the AK, 47 and sks’s
Sounds like the “Quick Sand” moment is nearly upon us.
One thing I have been trying to work out is, my last ultimate shopping list. I’ve a little cash set aside just for this and if a financial crash comes, I’ll want to make one last trip to the bulk goods store like Cosco, Sam’s etc. and the grocery store. I want a list in advance, so I can get in and out quick. I also assume there will be banking issues so it will be cash and carry.
My assumption is the store shelves will be bare within days and nothing may replace it for months. So as soon as it quacks like a crash, and swims like a crash, I’m off to the store.
My list will be all about necessities that will be in limited supply that will keep even if electricity becomes questionable. I have long term freeze dried supplies so I would load up on short term dried and wet canned goods, batteries, personal hygiene supplies, basic meds etc.
Much of this I already keep, but given the opportunity, what would you add to this list or want to double up on?
Plan twice prep once: I think about the same thing, heading to the store to beat the crowd for last minute items. I will get dairy and fresh produce and meat to put off having to live off my storage for a little longer. I already have all the long term storage items that my little house can possibly hold. I bought about 3 gas containers and will fill them up. Call the propane dealer to top off the tank too.
Gasoline? I have a generator so I already keep gasoline.
I have a 15 gallon steel dispenser tank mounted in a handy spot. I keep it filled from six 5 gallon cans that I rotate and keep with gas stabilizer! So this means I always have between 40 and 45 gallons on hand at any given time. With notice like the big storm that came a couple years back. I also filled both cars and the generator tank, another 10 gallons, so this was 55 gallons, plus the cars were ready to roll.
The storm was a real education, we lost power for 10 days, I did my bests load balancing on the two 120/V sides of the 240 generator feed. It reduced my generator demand, so I was using a little less than 5 gallons a day. Further the generator needed its oil changed every two days. It was great, it kept my house heated and saved all the food in my freezer.
In an EOTWAWKI situation I would use the generator just long enough to can what’s in the freezer, and then shut down, the remaining gas would be saved to run power tools when there is a critical need. Gasoline would become more valuable than gold! Anyone with a running generator would be a target of the ignorant that overrate it’s worth.
powdered milk will be PRICELESS, maybe even MORE expensive. at top of MY list is get cash, ….and spend it as fast as you can….gasoline, water, FOOD, preferably with high water content so you won’t need water when you eat it… this is important to ME because i live in the desert …if you don’t have water, you shouldn’t EAT! …got bulletproof vests with plates for all the family yet?
as long as you got all this stuff, you’ll be fine…I just reworked this list today. it’s much more useful now that I have taken out some things, not a lot of redundancies anymore…but it sure aint in ORDER of importance! randy
let me know what i’ve left out.this used to be in order but i’ve added to it so many times i need to rework it….irregardless….i’m SURE you’ll find something here you didn’t think of!

Bug Out Bag Contents
The Pack – I have a LC-1 “Alice” pack but any quality pack with enough capacity will do. Stick with camouflage, dark green or other natural colors that blend with the terrain.
Water – A canteen with cup and cover for your belt, water bottle and a good filter.
Fire – Waterproof matches, a magnesium fire starter and tinder.
Food – Pack enough to last 5-7 days. Rice, oat meal, beef jerky, energy bars etc. Another option is MRE’s and the freeze-dried foods. Choose foods that are light weight and a suitable shelf life.
Stove – A small stove is essential it you want to stay hidden. Smoke and noise from the cutting and burning of wood would be undesirable if you are in hostile territory or being pursued. I have a Peak-One backpackers stove, there are others but this is what I have and can recommend.
military 4 part sleep system…protects to minus 30 degrees if you know what to do with it…and at LEAST have the bivy bag part of it in your car in case you get stranded….if you are dressed for the climate you’re in, it might only take that bivy to save yer life. randy
Shelter – Rain poncho and tarp or compact tent, stick with natural colors that blend with the surrounding area.
Cooking – I have a Stainless Steel 5-Piece Mess Kit, that I ordered from amazon.com but any lightweight kit will do.
First Aid – It’s best to assemble your own kit, tailored to your needs, or if you are lazy you can buy a ready-made kit. Don’t forget to add personal medications.
Light – I have a 2-AA Cell Mini LED Flashlight Mini LED Flashlight and a 9-Hour Candle.
Tools – A folding saw, Swiss Army pocket knife, and fixed blade knife. A light weight shovel and Machete are nice, but add extra weight.
Clothing – At least one extra pair of socks and underwear add other items if you feel the need and have the space.
Fishing – Line, hooks and sinkers and a few small lures. I also have a small gill net for catching fish.
Snare wire – I make my own from copper wire. Don’t forget to include at least 50 ft of parachute cord.
Plastic bags – Two or three large lawn bags and several zip-lock sandwich bags, can be used for a number of tasks and to keep things dry.
Binoculars – See game and enemy before they see you.
Sewing kit – Needle and thread don’t forget to include a few extra buttons.
This n’ that – Head net, electrical tape, face paint, gloves, sharpening stone etc.
Firearms – This is where feathers get ruffled and wounds opened. Everyone has their own idea of what the “perfect” survival firearm is or should be.
I am not going to get into all the choices here, which would be an article in and of itself.

WOW BCOD: You sure made quite a list and I have most of it. Except that you have a lot on there for bugging out and I can’t imagine how you are going to carry it all. We intend to stay right where we are, couldn’t think of any better place to be (except in the event of a tsunami in which case it would be impossible to get to higher ground fast enough without going through cities. I guess there are worse ways to die than drowning.)
So, for staying right where we are and living back in the 1800’s, I bought a couple of scrubbing boards and a wringer for laundry, buckets (use empty 5 gal food buckets) for washing and rinsing, a washing plunger (Lehmans.com) clothesline and extra clothespins. Hand pump for the well, and a couple of metal buckets to carry the water plus a little wagon to put the buckets in because they will be heavy. Extra wicks and lamp oil for all my antique oil lamps, outdoor camp shower, tripod for cooking over an open fire in the back yard and cast iron Dutch ovens with a handle for hanging. Cast iron fry pans and bread pans as well. We put a wood stove insert in our fireplace with a flat top that could be used for cooking. Lots of those small propane canisters (hopefully they will keep for a good long time) with a couple of those little screw on burners for cooking inside. Yes you can use them inside, I have during hurricanes and when our kitchen was being redone. Survival seeds in the freezer. The only thing we are missing is stuff to build a hen house and cage because when it hits, we will stay home and keep chickens.
Our motorhome has a solar panel so we could charge electronics in it.
I also have a ham radio plus I keep my hand held one in an EMP bag. Between the 2 of us we have given quite a list, I hope it helps someone.
good stuff there, gadabout,…condider it copied/pasted/saved i plan on “buggin IN” too….everything on here isn’t for EVERYbody…it will depend on WHAT happens to U.S., as to what you end up”Taking along”… even if you GOT all that stuff, it don’t mean you will have the means to TAKE it all with you…..hell, you might not be able to take ANY of it with you…and no matter WHERE you are, a jogging stroller can be used to carry pretty much anything up to a hundred pounds for quite a ways. oh, and i got the clothesline covered(550 cord)….and dont forget a few pieces of gold and silver,….yuh juss never know….
Another emergency list is my “last minute to do list”
I spoke above of a radiation leak/fallout/attack, in those terms this follows:
I have a great raised bed garden, I’ve been improving its soil for over a decade.
If there was ever nuclear fallout coming. A priority would be to clear cut the garden and cover the raised bed with a tarp to keep contaminates out of the soil. If I had extra time, I’d take my largest tarp, normally intended for emergency roof repair and stake it out on a high spot in the yard to protect another large area of ground for another garden.
After the air and rain water is clear, roll back and discard the tarp the following spring and plant away. You’ll have the only uncontaminated food in town.
That’s the full blown prepper list. I’m basically ready. I was smearing of that last minute list..
When the big storm came I pretty much just topped off the fuel in the cars, and we were ready. I have all the basics, so we were fine.
The scenario I speak of is the EOTWAWKI. Assume you have some notice, or a small window. What would you add last minute. Obviously not the time to start prepping.
Interesting responses. A few are suggesting a bag or two of pleasure items, favorite junk food etc. interesting idea, great for family moral, possibly more important than some suspect. One thing I might grab up is bails of peat moss from the big box store for expanding gardens and improving soil. Especially if there’s radiation involved and you need to discard the first six inches of soil and start fresh. While people are fighting over cans of food at grocery stores, I can be where they aren’t, planning for the next phase in survival!
I printed out and looked at your full list. Nice job!
Here’s my input!
I’d skip the Swiss Army knife and get a “Gerber multitool”. Yes, I carry a solid pocket knife, and have since I turned 18. I’d carry both.
Consider adding a “lock pick” set to your kit, but be aware of state laws on this item. Bolt cutters will open gates.
A tire repair kit. A kit that can fix multiple punctures could be a God sent! Ambushes may include spike strips etc to disable your car. The bad guys can then come and get you at their leisure. If you can rapidly repair the tires, re-inflate flats them and move on, you are golden.
Work gloves, I burn through at least two pair each spring. A couple five packs from Harbor Freight are just what I’d need!
Solar battery charger. I have a great AA/AAA Ni MH Battery charger, and a 15 watt solar panel. It still needed a voltage regulator between the two, so I don’t damage the battery charger. People can google 12 volt regulator circuit. They are easy to build from Radio Shack partsI have built several for a couple for different voltages. 12 volt exactly for 12 volt devices, and 13.8 for slow charging lead acid batteries. 14.5 volt for fast charging lead acid batteries.
Duct tape! Nuff said!
Ant-acid and stool softener. In a SHTF situation people will be exposed to new pathogens and foods, lots of Pepto folks, it could save your life.
Plain aspirin, lots of exertion means heart stress. Plain Aspirin could save lives.
You listed IV for emergency fluid replacement. The needles and solution need to be absolutely sterile, and are prescription only in many states. Grandma just used an enema bulb, still available in drug stores, it saved babies and children from dying due to dehydration. Plain clean water or better a 30% pedi-a-lite solution is best. Yup, Gatorade works in a pinch. Add 30% wine to it and they’ll feel no pain while you do stitches.
good stuff there plan twice! and one of the reasons i DID this list and pass it on, is so i can get feedback ..as far as multi-tool, i agree.for NOW that multi-tool is all i need, but when shtf, you BETTER have a great knife.. i like what you said about the enema bulb and the wine, aspirin, and tire repair. a lot of the suggestions were on the lists in my archives, but didn’t make it to the “last cut”. i/m sure there are things still on here that appear 2, or even more times too.
Thanks for kicking in, writing it out and having the conversation reinforces the thought process.
It helps me to identify what’s important, and not waste resources.
The tire patch kit and a little Harbor Freight tire inflator I’m thinking is extremely important. I could easily be half a state away from home when the SHTF. Getting home or to a safe alternate very important and I’d rather not have to walk! The patch plugs you stick in from the outside have no warrenty, but the alternative is quite frightening, and they come in compact 8 packs.
I already carry both, but I think I’ll add a second patch kit to each car.
get the plugs that are small…they are hard to find, but the big ones are too big for plugging a nail. that wasn’t in my bugout list origonally, because my vehicles ALL have them, and dont let them tell you you can’t do the sidewalls. our record is 7 plugs next to eachother to get one of the guys off the trail…side by side, 7 plugs in one tire. one popular airpump is…aww, hell, i can’t remember the name now….anybody?
Red letter day.
A couple more cases of long term storage, freeze dried food I ordered, arrived just today. I’m pretty happy with my supply, but I do watch for great sales of clearance items to add a bit more. This was a couple cases of assorted mountain house at about 40% off and free shipping.
With my food order I picked up a dozen heavy duty Mylar zip-lock bags. The intent is improved storage of opened cans of dry foods. I took one bag and tossed my cell phone into it, and tried to call it from the wife’s phone. Outside the bag I had five bars signal strength. In the Mylar bag my phone was totally shielded and wouldn’t work. My experiment was a total success. I could toss an iPad, my phones etc into one bag and go dark electronically, should the need ever arise!
Also picked up another one pound bag of HTH Calcium Hypochlorite (pool shock) for treating water today. Enough to treat 10,000 gallons of water for drinking washing and cooking. Cost me $2.99 and kept dry, it has an unlimited shelf life. There are items like this that I want to double up on and store in separate obscure locations. Lots of water around me here, but it needs to be made fit to drink, and a chlorine solution will definitely do the trick.
“Lots of water around me here, but it needs to be made fit to drink,”
that’s why i have kool aide or crystal lite on my list…to make water taste better. i imagine some of the water we will be drinking will be pretty nasty.
Regarding water. I have two whole house water filters that work in parallel. When I moved in here I could taste a fishiness in our water, like the taste and smell of swimming in a lake.
I added a whole house activated carbon filter to the house. I still smelled the nasty stuff. Another filter working in parallel fixed it.
Gotta say I have been drying and saving used filters. In a SHTF I’d use these again to clean particulates, and then chlorinate the water, to make it safe. A local spring fed lake in a protected park, has great starting quality water if I was really hurting.
To save money I’ve been buying my water filters bulk on the web, it also makes me keep a good supply on hand. Hot tip here, of you have pure silver coins, you can make a sliver water purifying stack using your silver coins and some PVC pipe. It also will make the coins really hard for bad guys to find! Who’d look in the water pipes of a treatment rig?
Worried about undervalued currencies? Dollar or Yuan? Western attire or Eastern attire? It really doesn’t make any difference………the emperor is still NAKED! Tillable land, precious metals, food, water, lead and most importantly God. This is America’s only hope.
