This is how the war of the words is fought on the Internet. A simple battle of semantics.

Take the most notorious search engine’s news aggregate, Google News, for example. Go there and type in “martial law” right now, maybe in conjunction with “Africa” or “Ebola” and see what comes up.

Not a whole lot. Barely more than a digital whisper, really.

Now type in, oh, any combination of those words, but substitute “martial law” with “troops” or “soldiers”. Now see what you get.

It’s everywhere. Troops have now been deployed in Sierra Leone and Liberia. The country is in a martial law lockdown. It’s just…no one in the mainstream media is calling it what it is.

Liberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has officially declared a 90-day state of emergency, and she told Associated Press that, “some civil liberties will be suspended”. The article went on to say, “In neighboring Sierra Leone, military forces also deployed as part of ‘Operation Octopus’ which officials said was aimed at preventing ‘the unauthorized movement of Ebola-infected persons.'”

This is martial law and in the case of Sierra Leone, martial law with a really creepy code name.

While the media seems hellbent on scaring the crap out of everyone by mentioning the word Ebola every other five seconds, there is actual useful information eeking out that we might want to glean here, in case anything like this should happen in our neighborhoods. You just have to wade through all the fear porn to get to it.

Let’s stick with this AP article for a second.

So, civil liberties will be suspended with military force. What else?

AP continues, “National Health Workers Association president Joseph Tamba said the state of emergency is necessary. But he says people should have been given advance notice to buy food ahead of the movement restrictions.”

So, civil liberties were suspended and they didn’t give the average person who isn’t prepper-minded adequate time to get prepared?

Very good to know. What else?

“Relatives are hiding feverish patients at home for fear if they are brought to isolation centers and don’t have Ebola they will end up contracting it anyway.”

Okay. Considering that there is the belief floating around Sierra Leone that this outbreak is a “government conspiracy,” that makes sense.  The article also mentioned that, out of this same sense of fear, people are just dumping their dead in the streets and taking off, likely because they don’t want to be whisked away and quarantined themselves.

    What else.

“Experts warned that extreme measures risk driving patients and their families further underground out of fear. The best way to track possible exposures is through community leaders who are known and respected, they say.”

The government uses trusted community leaders as the best way to flesh out people who don’t want to willingly turn themselves in to quarantine centers. Got it.

Putting the totally irrational fear aside that a disease which has only ever afflicted 6,000 people in the history of humanity will suddenly show up on your doorstep, what’s going on right now in Africa is a very real on-the-ground glimpse into how governments implement martial law and how they respond to people in these kinds of situations.

(And that’s not even getting into the fact that the African people have been told they will not be receiving the experimental treatment given to the two Americans and it could be months before anything is developed. No one has said it would be offered to them if it is, either, and that’s regardless of whether or not anyone would even trust such a treatment…I’m here, and there are several reasons I don’t trust it at all, including the fact that the guy behind the treatment makes jokes about culling 25% of the world with a genetically engineered virus like that’s just hilarious.)

Consider the statements I’ve pulled out here. My colleague Daisy Luther of The Organic Prepper just got done writing a story the other day, Here’s Why I Won’t Be Lining Up for the Ebola Vaccine, in which she makes a very compelling argument backed by decades of historical information on vaccine production gone wrong and military-medical-media industrial complex corruption and scaremongering in this country as to why she will not be rolling up her sleeve for any Ebola vaccinations or “treatments”, not now or ever.

People in West Africa are staying the hell away from the government “isolation” centers and hospitals. People there believe it’s a government conspiracy. How many Americans would (and do) feel the same way about what’s going on right now, knowing our very own Fort Detrick biowarfare scientists who just so happen to have been over in the Ebola hot zone in the main three Ebola-ravaged countries testing lab-grown monoclonal antibody cocktails on healthy human adults for several years now are staying pretty mum on the current situation?

In an outbreak scenario even as small as neighborhood-wide, would Daisy Luther be considered a “hold out” who refuses to go to a treatment center should vaccinations or isolation for this deadly disease become mandatory?

By executive order, our government currently has a laundry list of infectious diseases for which the CDC states it “has the legal authority to
detain any person” who “may” be afflicted — including cholera, diphtheria, infectious tuberculosis, plague, smallpox, yellow fever, viral hemorrhagic fevers (like Ebola), SARS, and “new types of flu (influenza) that could cause a pandemic” — according to the CDC’s quarantine stations fact sheet dated August 2103.

Again, I want to stress the CDC says it can legally detain anyone if the person “may” have the disease, not if the person has officially, definitely been diagnosed with the disease in question. The fact sheet also says, “CDC also can have them admitted to a hospital or confined to a home for a certain amount of time to prevent the spread of disease.” It does not say this any of this will be voluntary or optional.

On top of that, the Pentagon is all over this experimental Ebola treatment being grown in tobacco cells that has just been approved for human testing.

    As Jon Rappoport recently reported,

This “Blue Angel” project, as it’s called, suddenly puts the Pentagon in the forefront of the vaccine business. The big question is: why is the Army involved in vaccines at all? And the answer is no surprise. According to DARPA, it’s all about readiness in containing bio-threats. Translated, that means terrorist attacks that could use flu viruses.

This is a sinister development. It creates a potential scenario in which the military can invent the “bio-threat” and then step in and provide the solution. It doesn’t really matter whether the bio-threat is real or imaginary.

The threat would offer the chance to initiate a martial-law scenario, after which the military vaccine would be made mandatory, destroying the right of each state in the union to permit, as is now the case, people to opt out of vaccination on religious, medical, or ethical grounds.

The Pentagon is famous for developing weapons and then lobbying for battlefield opportunities to use them. This is part and parcel of their “war is forever” mentality. Well, in this case, the vaccine becomes the defensive weapon, and you can be sure the Pentagon will strive to deploy it in a situation that “demands it”—a chilling prospect…

The CDC and WHO relentlessly promoted Swine Flu as a monster menace that could invade and decimate the planet. Therefore, everyone needed to step up and take the vaccine. These civilian agencies are mere pikers compared to the Pentagon. Can you imagine what the Dept. of Defense would promote and launch to guarantee their vaccine finds a place in your bloodstream? The DOD regularly makes conflict of interest into an art form.

Martial law? No problem. [emphasis added]

A “defensive weapon” like a vaccine that it’s in national security interest that everyone who is even under suspicion of having Ebola takes?

Ebola cases have now shown up in five African countries, and now that America and Spain are flying in Ebola patients on purpose, a disease that was once only found in Africa has been able to travel to four continents.

Calm down and take a deep breath, but don’t ignore what’s going on here. Modern America is a country that has been bred to thrive off fear. People are already swarming the CDC with phone calls because they have a slight fever or a cough throwing rational thinking out the window because they might have Ebola. Homeland Security has also injected the nation with a “See Something, Say Something” mentality since 9/11. The mainstream media and their mind-controlling 24/7 news cycle is whipping the average person into a total state of panic as we speak with this. On top of that, the government made sure to fly two people with Ebola here, just in case the idea of Ebola coming home didn’t actually hit home hard enough.

If the $@!% hits the fan here, we’re going to have to invent a new phrase, because “lose it” isn’t even going to be adequate enough to describe how the majority of society will respond.

The CDC has just issued a Level 1 response — the agency’s highest alert response to the Ebola outbreak, something that hasn’t happened since the bird flu outbreak in 2009 or the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 (another instance where martial law was declared).

Losing one’s mind with irrational fear is different from looking critically and logically at a situation and gleaning what’s important from it.

Back when hundreds of people were dying from this, the governments said they were overwhelmed, but they didn’t quarantine people or stop flights or even shut off cross-country border travel. The World Health Organization took what it claimed were drastic measures by “calling a meeting”. While they were having that meeting Ebola continued to spread rapidly and now it is totally out of control there, and it is martial law in the streets.

Look to Africa now. Look at how the governments have responded to their people throughout this Ebola crisis and how the people are now responding to the situation they find themselves in.

Stay vigilant, everyone. False flags are not a conspiracy theory.

      1. The world just gets better each day, doesn’t it?

        • You can’t suspend shit if enough armed Americans just say no. In my little corner I will be saying no to tyranny. It may cost me my life, but at least I will die like a man with my balls intact instead of submitting like a fucking coward like so many have become in this country.

          • LOCK N LOAD

              • It appears that they are surrounding the most dangerous areas for a direct assault against the people. They are scared of small populations of well armed citizens.

Why would they do that? Things that make you go hummmm.

          • @ Fuckingpissed

My question is ” How Many Will Stand Up “…..I have a really sick feeling in my gut that we are going to be shocked at how few people, like yourself, will “Take A Stand “….Be a Man…and be willing to fight for a Cause !!!

I truly believe that most will cave…the minut percentage of us that had rather go down Standing rather than on our knees…I feel like the larger percentage will go down on their knees….

What percentage of Americans do you truly think are even ready for “ANY” type of event…be it mentally…Physically…Food store etc….now what percentage of that percentage do you ” HONESTLY” believe will mag up and go down for our country…..I think it will be a minut percentage…so small that it can not handle what is/will be headed our way eventually…And this saddens me.

            Be Safe

            • May be 76 but count me in

            • 3rd down….At the very beginning of the Revolution, many did not/would not join in the fight….but were soon won over when faced with the outrageous behavior of the british….you may be surprised at what straw will break the “camel’s back” here and now….
              FOB

              • FOB, let’s all hope you’re right. The more gun owners we can get, the better our chances of overthrowing the tyranny.

                • I don’t know either but consider this; Today the gun store got 4 pallets of ammo, including about 60 bricks of 22 ammo. We were allowed one brick. At the 9:00 AM opening there were 30-35 people waiting to get in. By 9:35 all the bricks were gone. (I got mine, will take it to my brother, I don’t need more) The rest of the pallets will sell this week and they will get 3-4 again next week. Somebody is sure buying a lot of ammo for something.

                  • Most people used to keep one or two boxes of ammo about. Many are now thinking a thousand rounds of serious ammo for each weapon instead of fifty to a hundred rounds.

Many would have been satisfied with those two boxes being one defensive rounds and one target. Now on top of the thousand defensive rounds, they may be buying bulk target ammo a thousand rounds or more per purchase.

If someone had a shotgun they would keep a couple boxes of bird shot, skeet, and buck. Now they want a case of each, and add specialty rounds like 12 pellet buck, and both high and low velocity slugs.

Then there are the people who have become compulsive about it and just keep buying ammo as fast as they can. I’m hearing of people that have tens of thousands of rounds for each of their guns and maybe ammo for guns they don’t even own? These are the people that are intent on obtaining a lifetime supply of ammo.

Membership at my local range has exploded. People who never owned a firearm are showing up in droves and the regulars are all showing up with lots of new additions, and everyone is shooting more.

                  • Would you mind if I asked what you had to pay for a brick of .22LR?

Just curious. There has been an epidemic of price gouging going on with ammo ever since those stupid lily White sodbusters up in Iowa decided to put a virulently anti-White, racist, Mulatto Communist totalitarian cockroach into the White House.

                  • Bulk Pack Federal 36 gr HP, 525 rds $25 plus tax.

            • I don’t know the answer but I can hope. It saddens and maddens me as well.

            • I love my country. The Goverment Shills have sold us all out. Count me in. Let er’ Rip!!!

            • Forget ‘fighting for a cause’ going to a ‘quarantine center’ is a death sentence. At that point, you have nothing to lose. Things are NEVER going to ‘get back to normal’ By resisting, you’re choosing how you die.

            • Don’t know how you got a red thumb on this. You are right, Americans will not confront the gov. over loss of freedom. Just look at what’s been lost since 9/11, Americans are to be considered the terrorist, not radical Islam. And Americans just keep letting it happen. I will bet Hillary gets Elected president in 2016 and I predict the Democrats win in 2014. At that point an escalation of what has been happening will occur.

              • Jimb, I hope you are wrong. We shall know in less than 90 days. I fear that you are right, its that “boiling the frog slowly” thing. Red thumbs for everyone !!!

            • 3%

            • I believe the key here is COMMUNICATION. Yes, most people will not “stand up”….. UNTIL they see someone else do it first. A good example of this from our history was when General Washington asked for volunteers in the American army to re-enlist after the battles of Trenton and Princeton. He begged the men, pleaded with them to stay, until finally a few brave souls stepped forward, at which point many others began to step forward too. Eventually most of the Americans stayed on.

This is why I believe that this site and its people are so important, not merely to set an example in these dark times, but also to inform others. My friends, we need to be stout of heart and loud of mouth.

          • fucking pissed excellent! We are not going to listen to shit if they try martial law you bastards. Im in the same boat, your not going to tell me what the hell i can or cant do. Many others will do the same and we get enough people that fight back and teach these young national guard to go fuck the order as well and we win. We will give up our weapons or our freedoms just so you know. Record this all you want because that is the truth of millions of us. you cant stop us all without a fight.

            • Hmmm isn’t that assuming there is no real pandemic?

If there is a pandemic, a lock down is how you stop it. Having some food supplies etc. so you can hunker down and not need to go out and be exposed is how you survive, and why you prepared in the first place.

Now if there is not a real pandemic, and it is a false flag so some actor can seize power. You will see things like paramilitary trying to disarm citizens. Going house to house exposing residents and the paramilitary to each other is a dead giveaway that the pandemic is a fraud and they have declared war on the American people.

          • FP, I’m right there with you. I still claim the rights God granted to all of us and NOTHING will change that. I suspect the reason for all of these ebola/martial law articles back to back is to condition us for what they have planned for us. Let them bring it, I’m not going to any kind of camp. I’ll die standing up. braveheart

            • Eyes going, getting a little shaky, so I figure I’ll go lying down, behind a 12 power scope. Antelope season coming.

              • somebody please when it goes down bring soros into that area where those people are infected and let him feel what people in the world are feeling. This person needs to be stopped. give him water body fluids and see how long he holds up

                • I doubt it will have any effect on soros, he’s not human.

          • I gave you “thumbs up”, however don’t forget the ladies. My mother is 85. Some well meaning people at the DMV asked if she just wanted I.D. card instead of driver license. She turned down offer, even though she has not driven in 3 years. Her mind is still sharp. Blood sucker relative ( heh we all have them, right?) wanted to take her revolver. Not going to happen. She don’t have balls, however more spine than most men.

        • The Ebola situation in Nigeria has escalated rapidly…

WHO Declares “Health Emergency”, Admits “Stretched To Limit” On “Out Of Control” Ebola Outbreak As Nigeria Cases Soar

“CDC Director Frieden’s worst nightmare is coming true – Nigeria, of which he was “deeply concerned” due to the population density in Lagos for instance, has admitted 139 patients are now being monitored for Ebola (up from 8 mere days ago).

This, along with “the outbreak moving faster than we can control it,” drive the World Health Organization (WHO) to declare West Africa’s Ebola epidemic, an ‘extraordinary event’ and now constitutes an international health risk.

As Reuters reports, the agency said that, all states with Ebola transmission – so far Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria and Sierra Leone – should declare a national emergency, as former WHO official warned “governments appear to not have been engaged as necessary.”

            • Ain’t that a big surprise, NV.

              • I’m getting this mental picture of an evil looking government employee somewhere in USAMRID or CDC chomping on a cigar, with a big shit eating grin in his face, gleefully rubbing his hands together, exclaiming “I love it when a plan comes together”.

                • Does he look like George Soros?

                  • More like a composite of Soros, Gates and Buffet, maybe with a little Rothschild and Rockefeller thrown in for good measure.

                  • Darn those paladrone names, oops I had better shut up….

              • We can file this nonstarter along with the rest of the pandemics that never occurred like the SARS, swine and bird flu epidemics. Oh, but it’s different this time everyone says, more blood, more deaths, it’s Ebola 2.0, just like a sequel to a lame action movie. This too will get filed into the “Never Happened” drawer of failed doomer prophecies. As a reminder there was also the dreaded super tuberculosis coming across the boarder along with that new strain of small pox, both of which never materialized either. You can all continue to ring your dainty little hands, but not me. I’ll be around to remind you every holiday that this ‘event’ never happened, starting with Labor Day on Sept. 1st. See you then, unless of course you’ve died from Ebola!!!

                • Yeah, every time they protected you, it was a false alarm. You don’t even know the difference between a virus and a microbe, do you? Yay American education.

            • If you notice in the article it says that bankers are now wearing gloves to deal with customers, there is the concern that handling cash money can transfer the virus.

People in fear handling money could be used as a means to initiate the RFID cashless society because no one will need to handle any physical cash.

Could this lead to a worldwide RFID cashless system?

              Just my 2 pence.

              Keep stacking

              • Relax. TPTB print all that cash for less than 1C per dollar and spend it for full price. They really don’t want one; But they are going to get one simply because people don’t have any money

          • Seven “Need To Know” Facts About Ebola Virus

            1. It seems to start in animals and meat. No one’s for sure, but it’s thought the disease starts in bats. They can have the virus without getting sick. Then they infect other animals, who do usually get sick.
People kill the other animals and contract the virus while either preparing the meat or eating it poorly cooked. Then the virus starts spreading from person to person.

            2. After exposure, Ebola can kick in early or late. After someone is infected, the symptoms start anywhere from two to 21 days later.

            3. Ebola doesn’t spread like the flu. This is the only good thing I know about this awful disease.

Flu: You can be contagious before you get sick.
Ebola: You’re not contagious until you have symptoms.

Flu: The virus can spread through fluid droplets in the air (like from a sneeze).
Ebola: Although it’s theoretically possible for Ebola to spread this way, it doesn’t seem to.

            4. Ebola is highly contagious. You can catch it by coming in direct contact with any bodily fluids, including blood, semen, urine, saliva, vomit, or feces.

            5. The symptoms make prevention more difficult. Symptoms make it hard for caregivers not to come into contact with those bodily fluids.

There’s profuse vomiting and diarrhea. And the victim’s blood can’t clot. So you can’t stop bleeding from the smallest scrape, prick, or bruise. Sometimes people spontaneously bleed out the nose, mouth, rectum, or urethra.

            6. Ebola is still contagious after symptoms stop or the victim dies. Ebola doesn’t stop being contagious with death or recovery. Victims’ dead bodies still carry the disease, and people who recover may continue to be contagious for up to two months or more.

            7. There are ways to protect yourself. It’s essential to protect yourself at all times if you’re caring for someone who may have the disease so you don’t come into contact with the bodily fluids…

From Pigs to Monkeys, Ebola Goes Airborne
              Nov. 21, 2012
“Researchers from the National Centre for Foreign Animal Disease, the University of Manitoba, and the Public Health Agency of Canada, observed transmission of Ebola from pigs to monkeys. They first inoculated a number of piglets with the Zaire strain of the Ebola virus.”

“The piglets were then placed in a room with four cynomolgus macaques, a species of monkey commonly used in laboratories. The animals were separated by wire cages to prevent direct contact between the species.”

“Within eight days of exposure, two of the four monkeys showed signs of Ebola infection. Four days later, the remaining two monkeys were sick too.”

“There are three likely candidates for the route of transmission: airborne, droplet, or fomites.”

              • Thanks for the great information KY Mom!

This entire discussion about isolating Ebola is a moot point if the virus is being deliberately spread as a bioweapon by terrorists.

                • The shills in the US has a patent filed on an Eboli strain. Hell yea its planned.

                • YH,

                  You are welcome!

Learning “that someone could become infected with Ebola, but NOT show symptoms for 21 days” really concerns me.

An infected person could travel quite a distance in 21 days.

                  Take care! Be safe!

            • “4. Ebola is highly contagious. You can catch it by coming in direct contact with any bodily fluids, including blood, semen, urine, saliva, vomit, or feces.”

Which makes it exactly like AIDS. Maybe a movement will start somewhere that supports Ebola-infected rights? 🙁

          • The real danger in Nigeria is that the Mossad/CIA creation Boko Haram get ahold of the bug. If either Boko Haram or ISIS get ahold of an Ebola patient then we are all in real trouble.

Jonathan Goodluck makes Obama look like a competent leader (whereas to be fair Liberia’s leader is a sensible woman). He’s such a well behaved little puppet for tptb, that I often wonder if he isn’t really a robot.

I’ve posted before about the impact on the global supply chain a disruption to Nigerian oil production could cause. Just economic disruption in Africa’s most populated city will have a ripple in the globally interconnected economy.

Personally I believe that ebola is already released into the “wild” in the West, and that the authorities are just awaiting an opportune (or profitable?) moment to tell us poor phlebs. This whole outbreak story has had a dishonest ring to it from the start imho, and it’s time for a game of “follow the money” as that usually uncovers the truth.

I highly recommend that anyone in a postion to homeschools this coming year as we all know how runny nosed kids just love to share their germs, nits, worms and snot around. It’ll make life so much easier if you aren’t having worry about what unknown location they’ve shipped your precious babies to in an emergency situation. If you can’t homeschool then at least imprint into your kids heads a foolproof way of evading getting put on “that” bus as a matter of urgency.

            • Parents. Your kids may be sitting next to Runny Nosed Illegal intheir classroom. Better get on that with your lical school board. You have a right to know this info. Organize parents and protest that shit!!

              • WhoWuddaa…: My bother Chicken Little says you can even get it from toilet seats like VD. But I’m thinking it may even find you if you think about too much, kind of like a super-bug radar. Hold my hand, I mean my wing, I’m soooooo scared.

              • The only way to prevent,”Your kids may be sitting next to Runny Nosed Illegal intheir classroom”, is to arrest, execute, and cremate any illegals found in the US.
We are running out of nice options, that are “Fair for everyone.”

          • – should declare a national emergency, as former WHO official warned “governments appear to not have been engaged as necessary.”

Well those are 3rd or even 5th world nations…..

          • Here’s another Nigeria headline for your consideration:

            ht tp://news.yahoo.com/u-takes-control-480-mln-stolen-nigerian-dictator-070128996.html

Apparently the old dictator wasn’t “western bankster friendly”, so they’ve installed a more compliant one and paid him very well…at least it wasn’t all with our tax dollars this time. They robbed someone else.

REMEMBER, you can’t trust that the demons the MSM paints for us were really demons, but they sure must’ve pissed the banksters off. I think johnathon Goodluck will be a very compliant western shill.

          • Here’s another interesting Nigeria headline:

            ht tp://news.yahoo.com/u-takes-control-480-mln-stolen-nigerian-dictator-070128996.html

Apparently, the old dictator wasn’t “Western bankster friendly” enough, so they installed a new dictator. Then, they hustled up some money to pay for his compliance. The good news is, they robbed somebody else for the bribe money this time, instead of footing the entire bill with our taxpayer money. The bad news is, Nigeria will be assisting the spread of ebola, as planned.

Remember that the MSM propagandists rarely demonizes REAL demons. If they claim he was evil, he probably wasn’t. If they like this Johnathon Goodluck, he is probably a compliant shill.

        • It is written.

          Revelation 15:6-8

And out of the sanctuary came the seven angels with the seven plagues, clothed in pure, bright linen, with golden sashes around their chests. And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden bowls full of the wrath of God who lives forever and ever, and the sanctuary was filled with smoke from the glory of God and from his power, and no one could enter the sanctuary until the seven plagues of the seven angels were finished.

          • @Swinging

Very good use of scripture. The meaning of this passage is clear and spot on.

            • Stupid question here, but I have always wondered this. Seven angels get seven bowls…..is it one bowl each or do each of the angels get seven bowls = 49 ?

              • One bowl each. When you read it, there are seven bowls poured out onto the earth.

          • Not sure if this will have value to anyone, but I read the article where an Ebola victim described his symptoms. He was an African, but not a medical healthcare worker. He stated with Ebola victims, they hiccup just prior to death (i.e., you know they are dying when they start hiccuping).

That intrigued me, so I researched further and the answer was extremely interesting:

Humans will/can hiccup when their electrolytes are out of whack as this causes their diaphragm to contract. Out-of-whack electrolytes can cause death.

            • I usually just call my electrician when I have out-of-whack electric lights. He come right over and takes care of em, no problem…

            • We had a nasty Norovirus come through through one year that produced diarrhea and vomiting. Pedialyte was sold out and impossible to find in stores. Some kind of an electrolyte supplement is a must in everyone’s preps

              • Plan Twice: There are some good powdered forms of electrolytes out there that have a pretty good shelf-life. There are easy to store and I rotate them into drinks in the summer when I’m doing any heavy work outside. Just a thought.

                • I have a couple cans of Gatorade in my supplies, but whenever I mention Gatorade in a forum like this people scream that it’s no good for you. My view it does work and it beats dying! I haven’t heard any better suggestions though?

I see others for sale on amazon, but I’ve never found a good review that listed pros and cons of several. One criteria, sealed, long term packaging.

                  • FYI during WWII boiled/filtered ocean water was used as electrolyte. Considering the huge number of people near the ocean this might be important. Any Old MD’s out there that remember? I’m sure that this isn’t FDA approved, if for no other reason than ocean water is cheap.

        • Sure seems like it. Gotta just stay focused on life. Believe half (if that) of what you read and hear. Enjoy life the best you can. Love your family. Eat great food. Drink good beer and give thanks to the Lord for what we have.

          Desire what you have.

          TGIF!!!

          • Amen!

            • Right… I’ll start eating lousy food because of the children…

              Idiot

        • In a way Charlie it does,as each day passes Warchild lives another day to prep and more inportently enjoy life, same with billions world wide.My day would be much better if my new tires get installed today on my rims, hate needed jobs that just have equipment for!Still,a nice day,Dammit!

        • For Eppe:

“The Red Cross just knocked on my door and asked if we could contribute towards the floods in Pakistan.
I said we’d love to, but our garden hose only reaches the driveway.”

          • Sounds like an aunt of mine. Her doorbell rang, she answered it, and a couple of people said, “We’re collecting needed items for the poor”. She said, “Great! What did you bring me?”.

        • Got a bad feeling about this. This one may fizzle like several other outbreaks but the “big one” is coming as sure as night follows day.

When (if?) this bug becomes as contagious as the flu or common cold (especially if it retains it’s up to 21 day incubation period) we are well and truly stuffed. It will be in every city in the world with an international airport before we even know we have a problem. There will be countless thousands of walking time bombs with burning fuses.

Like most I have little choice but to go about my daily life. I cant “pull the trigger” until I know for sure this is “it” as there is no going back to my normal life once I do.

I am pretty much as ready as I’ll ever be I guess, I just hope that when the time comes to “Cross the Rubicon” I, my 2 kids and one grandkid are virus free.

          Take care guys and gals.

          Aussie

          • Hey Aussie….there is no giving up…only giving in…and I don’t like that scenario, and I do not believe you like that as well….wherever there is a “disease” there is an antidote…rest assured, SOMEONE will “find” it…

            • Colloidal silver if it is a virus.

I also red an interesting article about how it is basically scurvy on steroids and takes you to end stages of scurvy in days instead of months. It does that by destroying the vitamin C in your system until it goes to zero.

Thus the cure was proposed as doing nothing more than making sure you have large doses of vitamin C, and take enough to make sure your body has enough C to prevent the symptoms of scurvy from appearing if you get it.

I don’t know about that for sure, but it makes sense so I have plenty of vitamin C to keep the symptoms at bay while the silver and my immune system take care of the virus.

            • I’d like to believe that, but int he case of this virus it’s naive. Modern medicine has no rabbit in its hat to fix this one. Check Wikipedia on what ZMapp is, consider the odds of that being cheap or plentiful ever. This is an RNA virus that is going to rapidly mutate away from any vaccine or antibody-based treatment like ZMApp. Stopping it at the source is the only same thing to do.

        • Note that the individual in the picture is carrying an American rifle (M16 type, A1 or A2).

        • Yes, it does, Charley, and every time I think that they can’t do anything dumber, they exceed all expectations.

        • The screams of EBOLA!!!! will mask the laundry list of diseases the turd worlders brought. Most will never know what disease killed their family.

      2. CA2741523A1…guess what that number is. Its the patent number that the CDC holds for the Ebola virus…don’t you get a patent for something invented?

        • Actually Stew, you can get a patent on a “improved product”,guess they made the mouse trap high tech!

        • Invention of Ebola Virus is very similar to the invention of the monsters / subhumans named ISIS. The issue is are we smart enough to see the who the inventors are?

        • How do you patent a virus?

          • The only need for a patent is if you plan to sell it.

            • You could patent the virus, then patent the cure and sell the cure; thus ensuring you receive a cut of all the medication. Merck, Bayer, Pfizer, et. al. will get their silver while the world dies.

          • I don’t know: Still trying to figure out how we elected an Idiot.

            • Stand on any street corner for 5 minutes and you’ll know the answer, Paranoid.

      3. Heck, I’m not in any hurry to leave my home. Got enough water, food, guns, ammo, and essential accessories to last quite a while. So, its better to stay put, rather than mix with the hordes.

Those of you that NEED to go out, get out there NOW, get what you need to keep you in the above items for at least six months, and then sit back and enjoy yourself.

Because I do have neighbors close enough to hear a gunshot, I’ve added a crossbow to my arsenal. Something to think about!

        Good Luck to all!

        • Nice, what did you get?I last winter got a 10 point crossbow from a dealer in N.H.,got a better deal then would have with a net sale off of his site and got to check out shop, cool little place.I asked him the difference between the 5-6 hundred models and the higher end ones, mostly a drop in weight of a pound and a half or so and perhaps up to 75 feet a second faster on real high end models, what I got is great and will work fine for me.

          • I love my Barnett Quad 400, with mil-dot scope and extra bolts. There are many more higher-tech and more expensive models out there, but mine will do what I want it to do…plus, I got the best I could afford.

        • A crossbow is a superb SHTF weapon. Make sure to get plenty of bolts for it and a few extra “strings”. Some use wire or braided wire. Maybe parachord 550 would work too. Whatever the case, make sure to have plenty. Nothing discourages a night incursion by a group quite like a bolt to the chest of their leader… and no sign whatever of where it came from.

      4. Ebola was an issue in Africa years ago and it was only reported as an African issue effecting Africans and their continent. Now it is a level one warning by CDC, WHO.

Call me paranoid but why do I feel this virus is man made, being tested on African in order to be used for the right moment that is now to move the agenda forward for the Elites.

        • This was part of my suspicion from the get go, after minimal investigation…

The trade off was lethality for longevity…

          Now it’s spreading like a prairie fire…

        • When I see 100,000 or 500,000 or 1,000,000 Africans drop down from Ebola then I will worry. But Ebola has only killed less than 1000, the Flu kills more in the US alone each year. Again I must point out, if Ebola is such a threat, then why does America still allow people and flights from Africa into the US?

        • I did a little research into patient zero, and it’s an interesting story. Patient zero was a two year old boy who tragically died a horrific death from his symptoms. How would a two year old child become patient zero? Why not his parents? (His family all died from it later. They caught it during his care.) However, what is also interesting is where they lived. Instead of it being an isolated village out in the bush, it was a town that was a crossroads of commerce heading between Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia. Instead if the roads being rutted tracks leading in and out of the area, they were paved. This would explain why it spread so rapidly, but it still doesn’t explain how he came to be patient zero. I’ll indulge in a little bit of conspiracy here and speculate that if it was an NGO trying to initiate such an outbreak this would be the perfect location. Plus, what better way to initiate it than through an immunization program designed to “help” the poor in Africa?

      5. I’ll believe it when I see it go down. I’ll still get to where I need to go regardless. If I get stopped, I’ll find out if they’ll pull the trigger or not.

        • PO’d Patriot, same here. Until/unless it happens, it’s all just speculation.

        • MORE COWBELL, DAMMIT!

        • Most of the US still sees Russia as the former USSR and believes that it never rebuilt from that time. We have all seen the ruin porn of old military installations and factory towns that lay abandoned and think that is all there is to Russia. Sorry folks, but it’s been 23 years, almost a third of the time the USSR was in existence and history has moved on and so has Russia. I think the current crop of “leaders” we have don’t have an accurate assessment of our former cold war enemy. They are looking for a new bogey man to pull the proles in line and so they are trying to use Mother Russia for that purpose. I hope the masses don’t fall for it. We may be militarily stronger than her, but that doesn’t mean war with her would be anything but devastating for the USSA.

      10. Ranchers have reported Mexican immigrant gangs in military fatigues armed with rifles in south Texas.

Timeline: Border Surge Began a Few Months After Obama’s First Executive Action on Immigration

“President Obama’s executive actions on immigration did not begin with Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) in mid-2012. It began in 2011 with his announcement of “prosecutorial discretion” on deportations. A few months later the border patrol noted the first uptick in unaccompanied children at the border.”

        http://www.breitbart.com/InstaBlog/2014/08/05/Timeline-Border-Surge-Began-a-Few-Months-After-Obama-s-First-Executive-Action-on-Immigration

        • @KY Mom
Don’t know if you saw the story on Breitbart where the head man of the Border Patrol states ” People are crossing the Border to do Horrible Things here”.

          • I will have to find and read that.

            Thank you!

        • It’s an armed invasion. Time to goose the unorganized militia. Shoot the f’ers.

          • Shootin the is only a partial solution, land mines must be deployed on our southern border. We could send illegals home after they have been injected with Ebola.
Then again when Ebola gets loose in America we might see a benefit as many third worlders will decide to vamoose back to their POS villages.

      11. What are non prepared Americans going to do if martial law is declared and mobility restricted? They have enough food for maybe a week at most. Some less.

Best to have some alternative communications so as to make sure they aren’t using this as a reason to go collect guns and/or intern people in FEMA camps

        • @Sierra Dave,
The answer to your question is, sit in their homes until they run out of food/water, then come and try to takes ours. Unless, of course Barry treats all 300 million of us to a Big Mac and Fries.

        • One good thing about the 98% unprepared is that they will keep DHS plenty distracted. While we live our lives.

      12. If you want a vision of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face – forever.

        – George Orwell

        • Only a commie would red thumb George Orwell

          • Oddly enough though, Orwell was himself a Socialist. He wrote Animal Farm as a criticism of how far from the ideal the socialist revolution in the USSR had fallen under Stalin. In the book he elevates the character of Snowball as being a good socialist (Leon Trotsky) who is later assassinated by the bad socialist, Napoleon (Joseph Stalin). Both it and 1984 were tales of a revolution lost and what happens when the wrong people take over.

Also, has anybody else ever noticed that the writers of Pinky and the Brain used a hamster named Snowball as Brain’s arch nemesis? Knowing how intelligently written the show typically was I don’t think it is a coincidence.

      13. No problem, denouce citizenship, come back over illegally and voila, no vaccinations and free trip anywhere in the US! -.-

      17. Why 2015 is going to suck:

        1. The Fed stops printing in Oct this year, expect a Stock Market down turn and much inflation in 2015.

        2. The Border Patrol is predicting that the Obama Surge of Immigrants will INCREASE once the temps turn cooler.

        3. Obola (Ebola)

        4. Barry’s “Russian reset” has worked soooo well that we are in a new Cold War with Russia/China, which could turn hot.

        5. Obullshit seems intent on signing an Executive Order giving amnesty to the Invaders, thus setting up a Constitutional Crisis and almost certain Civil Unrest.

        6. Iran will go Nuclear, will they use it first on Israel or ISIS?

        7. All of the Invading “Kids” will enter school in September thus spreading their diseases among our kids.

      18. Sigh…people need to get away from their blue light devices for a while and get out in the yellow light.

There ain’t much you can do about all this hand wringing on the interwebs. Get out and dig some dirt or go fishin’ or pop a cork on some home made hooch.

        • And load another hundred rounds, JRS. Sheesh.

          • ^Here, load another hundred rounds THEN drink some homemade hooch. Or go fishin’….. All three sounds like sound advice.

            • Im with you on that, and then load another hundred just for chuckles,

              • Kula, sounds like you made it thru the hurricane damned good. Welcome back.

        • Cannot make homemade hooch where I live.Cops be lined up wanting their cut

      19. Ebola is not going to be an epidemic in the US. When the author estrapulates the United States pending response to any country in Africa’s response is simply disingenuousness. The statement “when” Ebola hits the US, is also stupid. This may happen with a future virus but not Ebola. So the article is not worthless in the long run but this author is incredible and I won’t use her as a source in the future.
Let’s concentrate on real rather than spinning our wheels on people looking for attention.

        • USA USA USA…

Thank you, you just made me feel a whole lot better…(s)

        • @Fyyff…..

“Ebola is not going to be an epidemic in the US.”

And how exactly do you know this? You have some kind of inside information? Are you an expert on epidemiology? Did you have some kind of Divine revelation that everything is going to be ok?

Or…..maybe you just have a big ol’ case of Normalcy Bias.

          • I have a background in emergency preparedness. Ebola has been spread around Africa for years. It will not spread around the US. Unless you exchange body fluids with infected people or use primitive health care techniques and handle instruments that are tainted, odds are very low. TB is easier to get, hep c lives outside the host longer, and symptoms of Ebola are more apparent than either TB or hep c. Regardless of the three week incubation. I will check back in 6 months and if I’m wrong I am wrong. Just not going to happen.

            • …and you think this makes you better educated on the subject than the CDC, WHO, and MSF? Maybe you think everyone in the US has proper modern medical care and practices proper hygiene? You do realize that there is really nothing they can do if you do catch this, right? (My background is in virology and statistics, though I did consult a disaster preparedness and response professional and the head of an epidemiology lab before talking on the internet about this.)

      20. My friend, who runs a ambulance service in another state, told me a couple months ago about a terrible shortage with the IV drip bags. This problem would make an epidemic very challenging.

        • It appears to me that rolling out of the “fart sack” in the mourning and hearing what’s been going on is becoming “very challenging”.

          • PO’D Patriot:

Makes you mourn for America, doesn’t it?

            • You got me….morning…..even when Mr. Webster is only inches from my hand on the desk.

        • How “coincidental”. I only wish I could still believe in “coincidence”. I DON’T!

Whatever “gift” we are about to receive from TPTB, you can be sure this “short fall” of something as simple as I.V. saline is an orchestrated, planned, and ultimately terminal circumstance for thousands, millions, or multiples of either numerical ESTIMATE!

I have yet to read, research, or understand a legitimate reason for this scenario. But I’m “almost sure” there must be a LOGICAL explanation. JUST NOT ON THIS WORLD!

      21. This ebola dz is impt., but things are hating up with Russia and the U.S. I assume others saw some reports re: Russian planes doing drills, or something like that… In the previous article here, with Mc Grath on War with Russia, I made a long post, referring people to http://www.paulcraigroberts.org where he has written many articles. I remembered that he had written about nuclear war…and no winners. When I went back to find it, I was wrong that he had written it. It was Steven Starr with the University of Missouri who wrote it…titled: The lethality of Nuclear Weapons..here is the direct website to it…please read it:
http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2014/05/30/lethality-nuclear-weapons/ It was done May 30th, so if this website does not get you there directly, just go to Dr. Roberts website, look down the right sidebar..you will find it. Then, I ran across an interview with Steven Starr on http://www.corbettreport.com done today, and you just really have to listen to it. Congress will be voting on this Senate Bill 2277…it is the “Russian Aggression Prevention Act”…. you have no idea what all is in it…just google it and read it… call your senators and say NO! What Steven Starr is trying to inform you on, is that the U.S. government is pushing Russia…and think they can win a nuclear war..and it is a case of who strikes first…a very dangerous game that the scientists’ studies show there will be no life left on earth, if a certain amount of nuclear missiles get launched… This critical situation with war games already being practiced, is more important than Ebola..Ebola may kill lots of people; nuclear war will kill ALL people eventually on earth (and our animals too)and ruin the planet for any life.

      22. You know a lot of what gets printed in alternative news, dissipates like the mourning fog once the sun breaks higher. Ain’t nothing wrong with looking back over your shoulder from time to time, especially if you see a shadow overtaking yours……..

      23. Hey! Didn’t all those plastic caskets go to Atlanta. Have not heard a peep about that.

        • Dammit, they are not caskets, how many times must I say this. Those are large cake molds for the millions of visitors going to attend camp fema! They are hermetically sealed to assure freshness of snacks to welcome the campers!Caskets, damn you folks are paranoid!

      24. The can do it in Africa, but if they try it here they will have more than they can handle. Just think this is here just about the right time to cancel the Nov elections????
        Sgt.

        • I agree Sgt…that is not far fetched…

When you consider two or three “3 week cycles”…oh boy!

      25. Just in case Grafique stops by I answered his questions in the last subject.

        • See my response.

      26. Nice analysis, Miss Melton. Look forward to more of your efforts.

      27. when you drop them make sure they are at least 100 yds away and then wait a while so that the blood mist is gone then pour gas/ful oil on them and burn

        • I like to drop the ones who caused their sickness in first place. Don’t waste ammo on the sick ones since they will die anyway. Let’s say the entire pharma staff and their share holders who patented the vaccine. Then go after the planners …..hint mostly are in DC, NY and London. Their master has a satanic name like Roth………

          • Don’t forget the bubble headed bleach blonde with a gleam in her eye

                Kick em when they’re up
                Kick em when they’re down
                Kick em when they’re stiff
                Kick em all around

      28. One thing to say. If you think it is bad over there in Africa, just wait until the Gestapo in this country have their way with the citizens. This deserves a 3 🙁 🙁 🙁 and then some.

      29. I am 58 years old, I am part of the largest army in the world. I am not concerned about myself, but the future of the country for my children and grandchildren. I will do whatever is necessary to protect them.

        • ok then stock up on anti tank and anti drone measures as the revolution will not be televised

      31. All of this is here already just change the color of the uniform.

      32. I direct this comment to Be Informed, because I think he has gained the respect of many…so many will listen to his posts. Please respond to this latest article by paul craig roberts. http://www.paulcraigroberts.org/2014/08/08/washington-threatens-world-paul-craig-roberts/ I have just finished reading it; I have been following his writings and many more: I am just devastated…. because I know what he says is true….I have studied 911…I have seen, probably too late, the loss of the America I grew up in…I would never have believed that there is the true reality of all of earth being destroyed by mankind…..nature? yes. mankind…no. We have many people in this country that have access to reach millions via internet..who have the wisdom, who have the high morals and standards to really bring the greatest problem this country faces to the attention of the public…albeit a small minority that is awake…. Most do not even have a clue re: senate bill 2277… I will suggest that all of you reading this, refer to my previous post to get to Steven Starr’s article and interview…he is a scientist at Univ. of Missouri…and paul craig roberts article..so much is out in front of our faces….read this article I want B.I. to read…I conclude with, “where are you, Colonel Douglas Mac Gregor, Cecil Rhodes of Oathkeepers, Larry Pratt, gun owners of America, Chuck Baldwin, Dr. Vieira (yes, today at newswithviews, but I think we are out of time for the constitutional militia), Judge Andrew Napolitano, Ron Paul of course, Lew Rockwell, the veterans of America,Colonel Riley, J.B. Williams, Ron Ewart, Devvy Kidd, Infowars (can’t believe I can’t think of your name right now)…oh, Alex Jones…Mac Slavo? So many good people who have educated us…yes, you have done your part…all of you, but you must ….well, I think, unite…and get this danger out to the public….When the public knew about the U.S. intention to go after Assad in Syria, the public said no. well, I guess Einstein was right: the only thing more prevalent than carbon on earth, is human stupidity. good luck everyone

      33. I see that some have posted the “news” (published in the New England Journal of Medicine on April 16th) that this Ebola strain is new to physicians and scientists. That means that they have no idea precisely how this particular Filovirus is spread, nor it’s specific incubation period, nor any other detail about it. A lot of people are assuming those answers but don’t know anything. Watching government officials claim to have definitive answers when it’s a certainty that they don’t bothers me a lot. I know I’m being lied to and that freaks me out more than anything.

Note that the WHO “Fact Sheet” plainly states that Ebola can be transmitted via surface contamination. The oft-repeated claims that one must have “direct physical contact with bodily fluids” is just plain wrong. That’s one way to get it, but environmental contamination is also a known and proven transmission vector.

Ebola then spreads in the community through human-to-human transmission, with infection resulting from direct contact (through broken skin or mucous membranes) with the blood, secretions, organs or other bodily fluids of infected people, and indirect contact with environments contaminated with such fluids. Burial ceremonies in which mourners have direct contact with the body of the deceased person can also play a role in the transmission of Ebola. Men who have recovered from the disease can still transmit the virus through their semen for up to 7 weeks after recovery from illness.

When I saw the 50-60% mortality rate I knew something was wrong with the news stories blaring “it’s Ebola Zaire again!” because we have decades of experience with that one and it’s always 88-92% mortality.

This new strain has 3% variance in alleles and that is most certainly enough to mutate into aerosol and/or airborne, though aerosol is more likely. It is a mathematical certainty that Ebola will stumble across the specific mutation that allows it to go aerosol at some point. Whether this particular incident has met that mathematical certainty remains to be seen.

At any rate, we are preparing for the worst case scenario and hoping that it doesn’t happen. In the meantime, I’m waiting to see how long the Feds and States can keep up the facade.

      34. ya know…

a lot of ppl may cry fema is a violation of human rights, but before you cry babies make too much of a stink over it, consider this…

if such measures weren’t in place, how many of you do you think would be infected with foreign viruses and dead as a result of non-containment?

get your heads out of your asses…i support fema and organizations like it. i would rather be contained that spread a deadly virus to others, just like i would want for you to be contained if you were infected.

“the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few”

        • It all depends on what FEMA is doing at the time. Like most large government agencies, it does do some good. However, with that you also have to see the capacity for evil that it’s numerous extra-constitutional (to put it mildly) authorizations possess. I don’t think too many people want Ebola patients running around Wal Mart, free to infect an unsuspecting public. It’s how they will go about preventing that which causes people to question the rightness of their actions. Just granting FEMA, or any other agency for that matter, unlimited powers in hopes that they will use it only for good is unwise. It will be abused and we will be it’s victims.

      35. My question is if it is spread by body fluids, then why the bio hazmat type suits complete with sealed headgear??When the infected Drs. were brought back to the U.S., they were escorted by people that were wearing these type of suits.makes me wonder if this is more contagious than we are being told.

        • BHL-4 is no joke.

      36. There are many that will stand up to Tyranny! The Generation X is ready!

      37. Re: concerns over the creation of a cashless society, one thing to keep in mind the main reasons why it might not happen is that cash is still the preferred method of paying bribes and blackmail.
