Spotify Will Begin Helping The Government Censor Content

Spotify has decided to go along with the totalitarianism being shoved on everyone on this planet. The company will not outright censor but will help the government by adding “content advisories” to anything that goes against the official narrative.

Spotify CEO Daniel Ek has announced these new policies in response to the Joe Rogan uproar from branch Covidians. The company will start adding “content advisory” to any podcast episode that touches on Covid-19, directing users to “trusted sources” on the pandemic, such as information shared by public health authorities, as well as by “scientists” and “academics,” CEO Daniel Ek announced on Sunday.

While this is not outright censorship, and the “advisories” tend to have the opposite effect that authoritarian dictators want (people want banned information more than anything) Spotify will bow and lick the hand that feeds them.

In addition, the service will make sure that creators “understand accountability” if they release content deemed in violation of the platform’s rules. The rules, which were made public on Sunday, described as “dangerous” content that dismisses Covid-19 as “a hoax” and “promotes or suggests” that coronavirus vaccines “are designed to cause death.”  So, once again, anything that goes against official government propaganda will be censored, and Spotify is making people aware of it.

Promoting the concept of natural immunity as a substitute for vaccines – that is “encouraging people to purposely get infected with Covid-19 in order to build immunity to it” – has also made the blacklist. Even though study, after study has already confirmed natural immunity to any virus is always far superior to any kind of temporary vaccine-induced immunity, of which the rulers themselves have already said, doesn’t even exist.

Is Spotify going to censor the CDC director now, who plainly said the “vaccines” don’t prevent transmission, and therefore, don’t prevent infection? Those are the words straight from a member of the ruling class’s mouth.

CDC Director: “What Vaccines Can’t Do Anymore Is Prevent Transmission”

It’s not clear how exactly Spotify would punish individual violations, saying it would “keep context in mind” when unleashing sanctions. However, the rules stipulate that violation of Spotify’s Covid-19 policies may result in the content that runs afoul of the rules being scrapped. “Repeated or egregious violations” may lead to permanent suspension.

In his statement on Sunday, Ek explained that what caused him to introduce the changes was “the feedback over the last several weeks,” apparently referring to the public criticism of Spotify’s number-one podcaster Joe Rogan, who is accused of spreading Covid-19 misinformation through his show. –RT

Although, we could simply ask when, in all of human history, have those who called for censorship ever been the good guys? Just some food for thought as we navigate tyranny in 2022.

Members of the ruling class from other countries are calling on Spotify to ramp up their censorship campaign as well. Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle want people silenced too. In a statement released on Sunday through their US-based non-profit Archewell, the pair called on Spotify to step up its response to the misinformation, calling for “changes.”

      1. What does Joe have to say about this? Who the hell is Neil Young or Joni Mitchell to determine what is misinformation? Joe gave examples of his info whereas Mitchell and Young didn’t. Draw your own conclusion.

      2. So basically anything that
        goes against the official
        narrative (pack of lies) will
        now be labeled as misinformation.

      3. Joe can find a better platform, and leaving spotify would lose 200 million people monthly as their top dog and viewers would follow him anywhere.

Spotify can collect personal data such as a user’s email address, birth date, gender, postal code, as well as voice data. They sell it to others for a harrassing experience. This is why I don’t use that platform. This info is on google.

True enough, and this is why Spot-i-fy is treading a very fine line. But, just where would Joe go that would be free from this same bullshit that’s happening now? Nowhere. They’re [web spaces] all controlled by the PTB and you nor I can change that (unless you happen to be a Gazzillionaire willing to fight your competition). Not very uplifting, but reality can suck from time to time. Not all of us live in “The Matrix” (no offense, Neo).

They all collect and distribute (aka: Sell) your PI (Personal Information). That will never change. The trick is to not ‘buy’ into it in the first place. But if you already are into it, then get the hell out. Stop giving them what they’re looking for. You’re going to keep getting harassed. You have an opinion – they just don’t like those opinions that differ or go against theirs.

        6. Centralization of the means of communication and transportation in the hands of the state.
In the U.S., communication and transportation are controlled and regulated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) established by the Communications Act of 1934 and the Department of Transportation and the Interstate Commerce Commission (established by Congress in 1887), and the Federal Aviation Administration as well as Executive orders 11490, 10999 — not to mention various state bureaucracies and regulations. There is also the federal postal monopoly, AMTRAK and CONRAIL — outright socialist (government-owned) enterprises. Instead of free-market private enteprrise in these important industries, these fields in America are semi-cartelized through the government’s regulatory-industiral complex.”
