This is a cultural war. It is not an isolated incident. It is not a tiny percentage of people that hold these “religious” beliefs; if it was then there would be a billion people both decrying and hunting down these animals, and that has never, in over 1,000 years, happened.

Blasphemy is punished by jail and then murder? This is acceptable, civilized conduct? You can reason or negotiate with such people? No, not any more than you can negotiate with these guys:

These people have declared war on the civilized world. Your options number only three:

- Fight
- Surrender and live in subjugation.

If they did then there would be a literal billion people looking for these *******s in every corner of the globe and putting a stop to this crap. There are, in fact, essentially zero of those individuals taking that step and there never has been any such movement among so-called “peaceful Muslims” defending the “peaceful” nature of their faith, which tells me everything I need to know.
Believe what you want but you have exactly three choices and unless you want your head — or that of your wife and child sawed off next you had damn well better decide to deal with reality.

This French Shooting, reminds me of my younger years. After High School we had a set of friends that would go hang out in the bars. I had one friend that seemed like, no less than a half hour in the bar, he would come up running claiming there was somebody picking on him, well he was a shit stirrer, and sure we backed him up a few times, and finally this seemed to be a game for him, kept running back to us for protection, well the last time, we just let the other guys beat him up some. And what happened is, this guy never started another fight again.

If you ever get to actually talk to and question a “moderate” Muslim about such things as killing an innocent and a real life situation where they are using that as an excuse to avoid giving a real answer about someone killed by an Islamist over something like a satirical cartoon ask him two questions:
1 Is there any prohibition in Islam, Sharia in particular but in a Hadith or the Koran as well, against blasphemy or ridicule of “the prophet” or Allah or Islam and what is the penalty for it.
2 Is the person who was killed considered innocent of this Blasphemy under Sharia and therefore to be classified as an innocent making his or her killing the murder of an innocent.
If you’re lucky enough to do this on the air of a talk show, ask that Muslim to issue a Fatwa publicly stating this (any Islamic leader can issue a Fatwa).
I’m betting you’ll get an evasion rather than a direct answer to these direct questions.

The Old Testament laws were given to the Israelites, not to us. The New Testament is what we are to live by. The Old Testament is included in our Bibles to instruct us in history and prophecy.
We are not bound by the Ten Commandments, but the New Testament covers 9 of the 10. The only one we don’t follow is keeping the Sabbath. Actually most people keep Saturday and Sunday as days of rest, just to be on the safe side.

Everyone should know there are three terms: Hebrews, Israelites, and Jews. Hebrews are descendants of Abraham. Israelites are descendants of Jacob/Israel. And Jews were named after the state of Judah.
You can read the writings of the church fathers and see where the disciples traveled to reach the lost tribes of Israel. They were in various parts of Europe. Therefore, most of us have Israelite ancestry.

The bottom line is there are and have been far to many lines of division between humans, whether race, religion, culture, sex, sexual orientation etc. There will always be chaos, war, death, terrorism, hatred and the like as long as humans put more emphasis on the differences between one another than on our similarities. Unfortunately this will never happen as it is in human nature to be jealous, envious, and otherwise lust for what someone else has. We believe that our higher intelligence and ability to think makes us immune to the laws of the animal kingdom, when in actuality all it does it provide us with the ability to kill each other in increasingly unique ways. We need to put our differences aside if we want to succeed on this planet. If we don’t, the earth will get over the loss of the human race just like it shrugged off 150 million years of the dinosaurs with no sweat. I’m at the point now where I don’t trust anyone who identifies themselves with any group, religious, political or otherwise.
