You may think that the following statement from Georgia democrat congressman Hank Johnson is an April Fool’s Joke, but you’d be wrong.

A perfect example of government incoherence:

Rep. Johnson: Twenty four miles long, about seven miles wide at the least widest place on the island and about twelve miles wide on the widest part of the island. And, ugh, I don’t know how many square miles that is. Do you happen to know?

Navy Admiral: I don’t have that figure with me sir. I can certainly supply it to you if you’d like.

Rep. Johnson: My fear is that the whole island will become so overly populated that it will tip over and capsize.

Navy Admiral: We don’t anticipate that.

The response from the [unnamed] Navy Admiral is very controlled, but we have no idea how he kept from laughing in Representative Johnson’s face.

The most alarming thing about all of this, is that Rep. Johnson will probably be re-elected.

      1. Oh my.  It gets better every day doesn’t it?

      2. Gosh, I wonder why he was elected?

      3. Comments…..This is what the public education will do to your children. No wonder that Health care was passed. It will take $100 ooo ooo to cure him if ever possible.I lived for 30 years in East block under Soviet Union Rules. He reminds me one of them.We should not only say God bless America…GOD HELP AMERICA !!!

      4. Oh my God…I’m living in this hellhole of a state called Georgia.  UGH.  All the elected officials here at every level are some of the dumbest most incompetent boobs you’d ever hope to meet.  If I ever am able to buy land somewhere, it won’t be here.

      5. I don’t know whether to cry or laugh.

      6. Well, there could be a rational explanation for his concern…

Maybe Rep. Johnson thought the plan was to put 8000 aircraft carriers on the island…and that islands float on pontoons.

      7. Don’t be baggin on georgia now…..You know someone from georgia invented the toothbrush right?  If it was invented anywhere else, it would have been called a teethbrush! 🙂  Ignorant fuckin rubes!  crank up the lenard skinard!

      8. GA also has 13% of it’s population at some stage within the prison system, double the national average.  You will see more cop cars between the Alabama border and Atlanta than you do driving from the GA/AL border to the West coast.  Don’t forget the surveillance camera trees every 2 blocks on the highways, pointed down to identify individual vehicles, not monitor traffic flow.  That state has a very hostile view of it’s citizens.  Kinda like sh*tting where you eat, isn’t it?  You’d love Cobb County, with seven different police jurisdictions constantly swarming the area.  If you thought you’d get fast 911 response with that, you’d be wrong.

      9. Comments…..Thank God we don’t get all the government we pay for!  Will Rodgers

      10. Comments…..This is a fine example just what the hell this beautiful land of our could turn into with ignorant people like this nut……God help us all….How on earth did he get elected????
