    Just as the price of oil was settling down from its record surge, it spiked once again, following a tweet by President Trump which has made war with Iran virtually inevitable.

    Just before 7 pm, Trump tweeted that “Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!”

    Setting aside the implicit admission that US foreign policy in the middle east is now inexplicably run by Saudi Arabia, what is far more troubling is Trump’s statement that the US military is “locked and loaded”, and set to attack the country which instigated the attack on Saudi facilities, which according to Mike Pompeo was not Yemen, and its Houthi rebels, but rather Iran.

    Now, as Bloomberg’s Javier Blas correctly notes, Trump’s tweet has left Saudi crown prince MbS boxed: “if he doesn’t point to #Iran, he’s likely to dissapointing Trump, but he does, he could start an all-war with Tehran of unknown end.” Needless to say, it is clear which option Saudi Arabia – which has been needling for war with Iran for years – will pick.

    And just in case it is unclear how Saudi Arabia will order the US “to proceed“, back in May, The Arab News – a newspaper that has long been chaired by various sons of King Salman until 2014 and is regarded as reflecting official position – published an editorial in English on Thursday, arguing that after incidents this week against Saudi energy targets, the next logical step “should be surgical strikes.” One can be certain that this time, it will be even more vocal.

    Meanwhile, one wonders just how credible the official narrative of Iran being behind the attacks is. Here are some thoughts

    https://twitter.com/hks55/status/1173342077284958208?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1173342077284958208&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zerohedge.com%2Fgeopolitical%2Firan-war-imminent-trump-says-us-locked-and-loaded-respond-saudi-attack

    The irony here is that just last week, Iran suddenly seemed on the cusp of renewed talks with the US after Trump unceremoniously sacked John Bolton, who had been pushing for an attack on Iran for years. And yet, with Bolton gone, his most desired outcome has been achieved with the US military now “locked and loaded” to attack Iran… One almost wonders where Bolton was when “Iran” was launching drones at Saudi Arabia.

    Incidentally, anyone hoping that oil prices will drop once the US invades Iran will be very disappointed.

    For now, the market is clearly aware of what such an outcome would mean to oil prices and not even Trump’s subsequent tweet that “PLENTY OF OIL!” will do anything to ease fears that a full-blown middle-eastern war may be coming.

      1. War with IRAN?
        Won’t happen.
        …Guaranteed.

      2. Better go sign yer kids up for the military, they need more cannon fodder for the NWO zio’s. Oh goody, another BS war. Maybe iran and russia will hand their asses to them.

        • Genius

          If you look for trouble you’re likely to find it. If you cause it and then blame the other guy as a predicate for justification for a retaliatory response it’s guaranteed. They’ll keep embellishing (Remember The Maine), if not outright creating incidents (Gulf Of Tonkin), until sooner or later they’ll get their war. The great danger isn’t planned escalation into a nuclear power confrontation but rather what is misinterpreted. A wise man once said that if you don’t learn from history you’re condemned to repeat it. We haven’t learned from the Cuban Missile Crisis. Both Kennedy and Khrushchev were loosing control of their respective militaries that were self operating in a supposed “grey area” when the intent was “black and white”. Read it’s history and it will send a chill down the spine of the sane.

        • Gen,
          Rightly or wrongly we’ll sit this one out.
          Democrats and Rinos aren’t in charge.
          We may blow some shit up. But I don’t
          think Trump is going to rescue Europe
          this time around.
          BTW Russians are European, when west of the Urals.

      3. It seems no amount of war is ever enough for the bloodthirsty elites, neocons, and military contractors.Of course, it’s never them or their kids out there getting they’re ass’s shot to pieces.

      4. To everyone, this is just one more reason I knew I made my permanent move at the right time. There’s been muslim communities building up in the US since the 70s and who knows how many terrorist cells there are waiting for the order to strike. If the US hits any Iranian targets those cells will be activated. That’s been a real fear I’ve always had. I don’t expect any of them in north GA but if they come to my area I, the family, and a great many others will help them find allah. They’d be ‘screwing up royally’ like my wife used to say to me on occasion. Oil prices have supposedly gone up 10% since the attacks in Saudi. I filled up the truck sat. along with several gas cans at $2.05 per gallon. That price will go up a pretty good bit now.

        • Damm you have cheap gas! It’s a buck more here.

          • Genius, it’ll go up before the weekend if not sooner. Ever since I moved here I’ve only been to town once a week and that one tank of gas lasted me ever since. I might go back to town in the next day or so. You say your gas is a buck more? You’re out west somewhere aren’t you?

        • DR, Wow 2.05 a gallon ! Here in central Arizona, it was 2.55 yesterday and 3.65 today. And you are correct, I have a friend who was a Major in the Army until last year.He gave me the lowdown, there are sleeper cells everywhere here. It’s going to all blow up at once someday.

      5. Rellik, agreed about ignoring Europe this time around. Twice in one century was twice too many. The Europeans made their own bed so let them lay their stupid asses on it. Damn right I’ll sit out any and all foreign conflicts. But if my home and/or families’ homes are attacked that’s another story. The attackers will be committing suicide and I don’t care who they are or where they come from. Let them come. I’m at the point I don’t care anymore and I’ve had it with being threatened by people with evil intentions toward me but somehow I’m expected to have self-restraint and ‘tolerate’ everything. Well the ones who say that can go pound sand.

      6. Isfake sent the drones. No war imminent.

        2020 Fuck n’ Waggons Contradictionary
        Israel = Isfake
        Democrat = Socialist
        Freedom = Tax slave bondage or entitlements
        United States = Barely reluctantly held together
        America = A racist term

      7. We have been training to do this since 2005. I was surprised we didn’t do it then because we were ready to go. We had bases staged in Central Asia to launch from. Now, we have even more bases all around Iran.

        There is strong resistance to the attack and that’s why it hasn’t happened yet. They need to find a way to park Russia so they don’t interfere. Russia has been the game changer. There will be a strong price to pay to get Russia on board and I think it is to become a major European power protector and member of G8 and possibly NATO. Sometimes you live in times where years and nothing happens; and days when years happen.

      8. The drone strike could have been done easily by the Saudi’s themselves. What would it gain for them you say? How’bout higher prices for their crude…… Plus by blaming Iran they can get the US to do their fighting for them. Sounds like a win-win situation to me.

      9. Avoid the indoctrination. Remember the Iran/Iraq war? The US (globalists) paid and armed Iraq to invade Iran. Before the war was over, Iran had lost about 1 million people. Out of a population of around 60 million. Do you understand why they’re pissed at us? In 1953 they were a democracy. We went in and overthrew the the guy who won the election. We also shot down an Iranian civilian airliner. But that’s okay, Israel says so.

      10. First it’s drones , then it’s cruise missiles. Houthis say they did it and they show us tanks with perfect holes in the roof , all in the same location live and none of them blown up. What a farce!!! I wonder where the Saudis found all the old tires to burn and make the black smoke when they took the aerial pictures? They can read the time on your watch , sitting on your back deck , from space and they are telling us they don’t know where the attack came from. Do they have the names of the tradesmen cutting the perfectly round holes in the roof of those tanks? If those tanks had oil in them and were hit by missiles they would no longer exist. FALSE FLAG.

      11. Whatever the US media says is always lies as this governments mouthpiece. 750+ billion thrown to the warmongers is just lying peanuts for what they really extract yearly.

      12. So they’re saying that Iran launched cruise missiles which flew 200 miles across the Persian Gulf, into the desert and then turned around to hit SA from the West? Or maybe they flew out over the ocean and turned? Iran is east of SA for those that are geographically challenged. And no one noticed? No satellites, radar, nothing? So, I guess they’re saying that the us military and all it’s vaunted hardware is a worthless boondoggle. Amazing. I for one believe everything they say, no matter how stupid it seems.

      13. You’re saying it basically took out nothing?

        Um does the Reichstag Fire ring a bell? Odds Saudis would stage this are… what like… 85%?

      14. Assuming (and let’s face it with the track record of false flags that a large assumption) that Shite Iran attacked Sunni Saudi Arabia where in the US Constitution is the CIC authorized to get into that fight? When one enlists in the military they take an oath to defend the USA and US Constitution. Where does the above fit into that?

      15. My first thought was CIA false flag attack. It has happened in all previous wars. My second thought was, Saudi is not a poor, undefended country, they can take care of their own problems. My third thought was, Iran did not attack us in any way, why in the hell would we want to start a war with them? Now it’s clear, the military industrial complex needs more money and their income depends on war. It used to be that wars were fought over territory, now war is just a tool to generate money for those who already own most of it, so we send our boys to die for dollars.

      16. Fortunately, Mr. Trump is smart enough to have figured out that Iran’s so called latest move was designed to draw him into a war which would ignite WWIII besides also being designed to help him lose the election since everything ELSE the globalists have tried have simply failed.

        Pray. Discern. Pray. Discern.

        Pray some more.

        God bless you all.
