Traditional history suggests that dinosaurs and humans never crossed paths because their existence on earth was separated by tens of millions of years.
But a new discovery by scientist Mark Armitage of the California State University may well turn the history of human civilization upside down.
Armitage was recently on a dig in Montana when he came across the largest triceratops horn ever unearthed. Upon further examination of the unique specimen with a high-powered microscope Armitage discovered something that no scientist had ever seen on a dinosaur sample before – soft tissue.
When he published his findings his colleagues were stunned, because the existence of soft tissue, which should degrade and disappear over millions of years, suggests that dinosaurs didn’t go extinct 60 million years ago, but rather, were alive and well in North America just several thousand years ago.
One would think that such a notable discovery would lead to more research into the possibility that humans and dinosaurs may have co-existed at one point in time. But that’s far from what happened.
Armitrage’s funding was pulled, his research was silenced and his job at CSU was terminated.
Apparently, the researcher’s findings were so significant that the board of trustees at the university feared it would too closely mesh science with religion.
One university official even made it a point to let Armitrage know why he was let go. “We are not going to tolerate your religion in this department,” he was quoted as saying.
The official’s statement stems from the notion that the history of the Christian Bible is roughly 6,000 to 10,000 years old, a point that some scientists often use to laugh off any possibility that there is truth to it. Scientists argue that since the bones of dinosaurs are over 60 million years old, the Bible couldn’t possibly hold a shred of truth because the creation story told in the first book of Genesis is, at most, just ten thousand years.
But the new discovery may shed light on the mysterious creatures mentioned in the Bible’s Old Testament. The earlier books of the bible may not have mentioned Triceratops or other dinosaurs by name, but they do make reference to tanniyn and behemoth, interpreted by some scholars as a large serpent, reptile, dragon, or even sea-monster.
These creatures did, indeed, cross paths with humans accordingly to the historical record detailed in the Christian Bible.
Behold, Behemoth, which I made as I made you; he eats grass like an ox. Behold, his strength in his loins, and his power in the muscles of his belly. He makes his tail stiff like a cedar; the sinews of his thighs are knit together. His bones are tubes of bronze, his limbs like bars of iron.

Yet, up until now, no hard scientific research confirmed that such large animals with reptile-like skin existed.
Armitrage’s discovery of soft tissue adds physical evidence to biblical record. And apparently, that threatened an upheaval in the scientific community, subsequently leading to Armitrage’s termination.
A press release from the Pacific Justice Institute argues that Armitrage was terminated on the basis of religion for sharing a controversial theory and providing evidence for such:
“Terminating an employee because of their religious views is completely inappropriate and illegal,” commented Brad Dacus, President of PJI. “But doing so in an attempt to silence scientific speech at a public university is even more alarming. This should be a wakeup call and warning to the entire world of academia,” he continued.
While at a dig at Hell Creek formation in Montana, the scientist, Mark Armitage, came upon the largest triceratops horn ever unearthed at the site. When examining the horn under a high-powered microscope back at CSUN, Armitage was fascinated to see the soft tissue. The discovery stunned members of the scientific community because it indicates that dinosaurs roamed the earth only thousands of years in the past rather than going extinct 60 million years ago.
According to court documents, shortly after the original soft tissue discovery, a university official challenged the motives of Armitage, by shouting at him, “We are not going to tolerate your religion in this department!”
Armitage, a published scientist of over 30 years, was subsequently let go after CSUN abruptly claimed his appointment at the university of 38 months had been temporary, and claimed a lack of funding for his position. This was news to him, and contradicted prior statements and documents from the university.
Michael Peffer, staff attorney with PJI’s southern California office said, “It has become apparent that ‘diversity’ and ‘intellectual curiosity,’ so often touted as hallmarks of a university education, do not apply to those with a religious point of view. This suit was filed, in part, to vindicate those ideals.”

Scientists often claim that no evidence or data prove the stories in the bible ever actually happened. Now, a veteran researcher with over three decades of experience has confirmed that dinosaurs were likely alive during the age of humans. All of these are supposedly correct with overwhelming data to support their validity and anyone who disagrees is shunned by the scientific community and labeled a nut.

There have always been gaps in the scientific evidence they use to prove their theories. That makes them only theories rather than fact as they portray them. The emperor has not clothes. But they insist that he does and if you don’t agree then you are the only one who does not see it so there must be something wrong with you. So most stay quiet and do not say that the emperor is naked.

First, carbon dating is a combination of chemistry and high level mathematics. I performed these function of equations when going through school for my applied science masters…it is a rather simple issue…you plot the x/y axis and X cannot be equal to or less than zero and Y cannot be infinite…then you solve for varying “points” which represent age and the orbital decay of the radioactive isotopes in the carbon…after several points are plotted in the I quadrant you can then delineate a logarhythmic arc to show the age/decay of the carbon ( it’s actually easier than it sounds)
BUT___ there are 2 humongous presumptions ALWAYS by scientists when they do this. The age or “years ago” of the y axis is always presumed–yes presumed. They simply start with the presumption that the first plotted point or event in the logarhythm is an age of ( fill in the blank) 60 million years ago…then they proceed from there to the present age..usually catastrophic events and climactic events are not factored at all.
The second huge mistake is that they have some active isotopes of the carbon to some level…carbon would be completely decayed or at best inert after just thousands of years let alone tens of millions.
There were many others of us in college who understood that what they taught with their backhanded evolutionary theory was ridiculous and put simply–not scientifically plausible or even possible–however if one wanted to just graduate and get one’s medical license, you just did the homework, math problems and filled in the answers they wanted.

As I understand it carbon dating works off the assumption that levels of carbon have been constant. We are seeing a rise in carbon in the atmospher. Thus there is reason to be sceptic all. Taking into account helium off gassing of zircons (amount per time) there is a very scientifically valid reason to be extremely sceptical. Sorry bout spelling…;)
CO2, which is increasing in concentration is not 14^C. Its the ratio of 14^c (Carbon-14) to 12^c (Carbon-12) found in an organic sample which is used to determine the approximate age of the sample. This method works because the half-life of 14^c is well known and thus decays into 12^c at a very predicable rate.
Please note that radiocarbon dating is one of (at least) 21 methods in use to determine an approximate date for a specific specimen. The specific method(s) used are determined by the type of sample and where it was found.

The isotope of carbon which is tracked in carbon dating is Carbon-14. Carbon-14 comprises ~0.01% of a naturally-occurring sample of carbon (1 in 10,000 – 100,000 atoms in the sample). Further, Carbon-14 is the only radioactive isotope. Carbon-14 is constantly being depleted in any non-organic (ie: living) sample as measured by its ~5,700 year half life. This decrease in Carbon-14 amount is what is tracked in carbon dating. Organic carbon (ie: living things) are constantly infused with Carbon-14 in our diets, as it is consistently being produced in the upper atmosphere from neutron bombardment of nitrogen-14 atoms. This newly formed (and unstable) carbon isotope is eventually incorporated into a CO2 molecule, which is then taken up by plants via photosynthesis, becoming the plant structure. These plants are then eaten by animals and the Carbon-14 is then incorporated into them (ie: us). As long as we continue to eat, we maintain a contact level of Carbon-14 in our system. However, once we stop eating (ie: die), the Carbon-14 levels in our remains fall off according to the 5,700 year 1/2 life. Again, this amount is what is measured.
Carbon14 isn’t used to date dinosaurs because the half life is to short. Isotopes of other elements are used.

What most fail to realize.. the isotope ( sp ) that they measure in carbon dating has a 12000yr halflife.. so by their own “rules” anything older then 24000yrs COULDNT be carbon dated.

So how can they measure things 1000000yrs old if after 12000yrs there is NO isotope left to measure…

Half-life indicates the time for half of the isotope, in this case Carbon-14, to have decayed. After twice this time, there is 1/4 left of the original amount; after three half-life times, there is 1/8 left, and so on. Eventually, enough of the isotope will have decayed enough for it to be practically absent.
Now there may be suspicions that these the half-life times aren’t constant, so for long-term isotopes like Carbon-14 the approximate 6000 years might speed up to 5000 or slow down to 7000 years as the millenia pass.
that is a flase measurement, half life means it is HALF way through its life, not 1/8 then 6000yrs later 1/4 thats science again trying to make stuff up to explain themselves out of a hole they dug.. a c14 isotooe is undetectable after 12000 years give or take not 6000yrs 1/2 6000 yrs 1/4 etc.
Sideshow you are unfortunately WRONG. A half-life by definition is the amount of time it takes for 1/2 of an amount of substance to decay/disappear/be metabolized. So if you had 10 grams of C14, in 6000 years only 5 grams would be left. Of that 5 grams is takes another 6000 years for 1/2 to disappear, etc.
This is well documented in science and medicine. It is how physicians determine when a medication is out of a patients system, and this time can be influenced by liver and kidney function. For example, propofol has a half life of minutes, while pentathol has a half life of approximately 11 hours. Hence, the discovery of propofol revolutionized anesthesia recovery times leading to same day surgeries, and a deep sedation that allows procedures that previously required general anesthesia to be done on a spontaneously breathing patient. It takes 5 elimination half times to consider a medication ‘eliminated’ from the body. The difference of C14 is that carbon is present in organic matter. For the organic matter to exist, carbon must be present, no? I don’t know more about C14 isotope itself and its relationship to C12, but assuming you are dealing with actual bones, teeth, etc. there should be some amount left.
While I’m sure no one knows the EXACT half life of C14 to the year, the principle of half lives and half-time are sound scientific calculations.

If you’re serious, and really don’t understand a concept like half-life, you really must learn more before joining a conversation like this. Skeptic-types use the very presence of comments like these to discredit anything that goes against the current mainstream.
I don’t think they use Carbon dating for dinosaurs. They use other isotopes with longer half lives.
It’s 5,700 years, Sideshow, not 12,000 years. Additionally, you are incorrect about the potential for dating past 2 x its half life. Half life is the amount of time required for there to be 1/2 of the sample left. Thus, after 5700 years, there would be 1/2 of the carbon-14 left. After another 5700 years, there would be 1/2 of that 1/2 left (ie: 1/4). And so it goes: every 5700 years, 1/2 of that amount remains (1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, etc). Thus, there is always a certain amount left. However, carbon dating only works out to ~40,000 years (when the amount of remaining C-14 gets too low to measure accurately).
Just wondering. If modern day Elephants, Rino’s, Hippo’s and Giraffe had gone extinct 6,000years ago and their skeletons were foud by scientist, would they be thought to have been dinosaurs? First off fossils are NOT bone, they are stone formed when minerals leeched into the organic remains and forms a copy of the structure and then hardens over time. As for the claim that soft tissue was discovered with a fossil remains makes no sense, if the horn is a fossil and not a misidentified horn of something more recent, the it would have to have been buried for a very long time for fossilization to have occurred (10’s of thousands of years) and that process would have allowed the soft tissue to decay. The best solution is to have an independent group of scientists examine and if possible verify the sample, then a DNA test should be preformed to see if that tissue matches any know species. It is possible for a ancient human could have discovered this fossil years ago and used it as a hunting tool which could also explain the soft tissue, don’t make logical jumps about the source of the tissue.
Pssst … carbon dating doesn’t apply to 60 million year old artifacts. Maybe you should at least try to know something about the evidence you’re rejecting.

It’s on youtube, and it does provide a healthy dose of religion, too, but just the information on the age of the earth, evolution, the hydro-plate theory, etc. is most educational.

When I used to watch Kenneth Copeland, he did several programs on there and from the Bible proved that Dinosaurs and humans walked the earth together and provided evidence of dinosaur prints and a mans print in rock here in the usa. He use to have his own program on INSP. It was along time ago.

Sorry, I’d have to disagree. Some of us are just stumped that rational beings could believe in an old fairytale (one among many). If you go to Canyon lake in Tx , around where the bend where you go tubing, turn right down the rd ,sorry not sure of the rds name,there was a place that was named Dinosaur world I believe. It was closed due to lack of business.It was around 1989 they were open.
What I saw there was a small bolder & in that bolder was a foot print of a plant eating dinosaur,maybe a baby with 3 toes.The foot print was about the size of a mans waist but next to it in the SAME bolder was a mans foot print just a little off center & a little behind to the right of the dinosaurs foot print. They were very proud of it. I ask why I have never even heard of this before? First of all, i don’t believe any dinos made it past the last Ice Age period (a time when the entire earth land mass is frozen), which was approximately 2.5 million years ago.
There have been “glacial periods” since then, whereby a “portion” of the earth’s landmass has been frozen and covered. The last major one was approximately 10,000 years ago, which lines up with biblical teachings of flesh man creation and this 2nd Heaven and Earth Age, whereby “flesh” man was created from the earth/dust (organic), approximately 7500 to 8000 years ago.
Speaking of this Age, there was a prehistoric “type” creature that walked and flew on the Earth about 6000+ years ago in the lands we call the middle east, in the garden of Eden. Shortly after the creation of Adam and Eve, about 6000 to 7000 years ago. We are told about a creature in those days that was a serpent/dragon with shiney snake-like skin.
Some say God was speaking figuratively about this creature and His “removing of it’s wings (and consequently it’s legs) so that it was left to crawl in the dust of the Earth. I leave room for the possibility, that the creature and event to be a literal explanation by God.
Satan, a spirit bodied entity, walked the earth with man, and more specifically, with Adam and Eve. He transformed/morphed himself into “the shining one”, the dragon; a serpent that flew around and evidently had legs and feet. He talked Eve into disobeying God’s direct orders and “beguiled” (wholly seduced= consumated that seduction with a sexual act), her and therefore brought about the “troubles with the flesh” we have today, and the Kenite/sons of Cain/races. More importantly, Satan tried to pollute the bloodline/DNA thru which Christ would be born out of; The caucasian/light skinned/adamic( ruddy complected/to show blood in the face) peoples. Later to be known as the Israelites and consequently the caucasians because of crossing over the Cacus Mtns. to settle western Europe, and later North America. ding,ding,ding…light bulbs over heads turning on?
Time will tell just how close to the truth these ideas and interpretations are, but this is how i see it.

You are missing something very important here Winston.
Angels can’t “create” anything. Humans can’t “create” anything. They can take what has already been created and use that in combinations and processes to “deveop” and “discover” new things. It’s called “inventing”, which is way different than creating.
The children of God, all of his creation, in spirit/angelic form had DNA from the start. Everyone is unique and somehow different because of DNA; even identical twins have something different.
There was no wombs in the first Heaven and Earth Age, therefore no need for live births. But, for whatever reason, God wanted His children to have “readily available DNA, in the form of “sperma”. That is why we are not told of any angelic beings having female parts and all were called “sons of God”. As there are now, in the 2nd Age/the flesh age, female was created with a womb for birthing. Adam, gave life to Eve, by the hand of God, from his feminine genes that God removed from his body via the “curve” of his body, his “helix curve”.

Most folks have an illusional picture of Angels because of two things. A wrong translation of Holy Spirit to Holy Ghost, by the KJV translators.

Yes, but you are assuming that flesh in one plane of existence is equal to another and that DNA between one species of created being can co-mingle with that of another successfully (something that does not happen across similar species lines with humans and simians due to a different DNA structure.). The point being though that if angels or demons (being created the same as both are angels in an ontological sense with one making one choice and one another) can inseminate a human female then how can you conclusively say that Mary was made pregnant by God and not another being from that plane of existence? Also, you have to remember that angels are different from humans in that, while both have a choice, only humans can be redeemed through Christ’s shed blood on the Cross. Therefore we can assume that the two are very different types of beings. As far as manna goes, I tend to think it was an instantaneous act of creation by God and not something meant to originally only exist in Heaven.
I also tend to wonder about the translation of “Sons of God” for the nephtalim. Usually the term “Son of God” refers to Jesus. Using it the plural could tend to indicate that there are others ontologically identical to Jesus, a leap I don’t want to take. The only other reference to “sons of God” I can think of is the position believers are given at the point of salvation. This would indicate that there were others who shared the same position as believers. Plus, I tend to question the need of angels to have corporeal relations with anyone, let alone men and women.

Let us make man in our likeness and image; Create mankind in God’s image; body enclosing a spirit-man hence Gen 1:26-27 – the spirit man and Gen 2:7 the flesh-man. Man being an image of God created on the 6th day whereas, the “Sons of God” were before creation (Job 38:1-8). God is fully manifested as Spirit, Theophany and Flesh. Where will the other Sons of God get their flesh body from? Bingo. From all the man that was created in God’s image. Hence after salvation, you now became a “son of God” because a portion of one of the Theophany’s Spirit is given to you in a spiritual union. Other mysteries as to why it had to be the way it is are to complex to fit in here.

Since God doesn’t create anything in vain, we can conclude that the earth was created perfectly, then layed to ruin “became without form and void” by Lucifer when he was cast out of heaven. In Genesis, God fixed and replenished the earth and made things right again, and created man. So the earth actually existed perfectly for a time prior to Genesis 1:2 along with whatever creatures that occupied it, until it was ruined. Dinasours could very well have existed along side Neanderthals. The gap between genesis 1:1 and 1:2 could very well be millions of years.
We have been taught that a creative act requires millions of years to accomplish, because it requires the chance arrangements of proteins, etc. But the Creator of all things, the Great Being known as YHVH, does not require chance events to perform His acts of Creation.
So although your comment about the verb “hayah” is correct, this does not mean that there had to be a lapse of millions of years at any point during the creative work.
But I agree that, as Jeremiah ch 4 states, there was a period of chaos upon the earth and in the universe, before the creation of Adam, and the recreation of an earth which had been rendered without form and void by the angelic rebellion.
Hm. Imagine a discovery that would give validity to the Bible. Imagine discovering that there is indeed accountability to a being greater than oneself.
I don’t know of any scientists let go because his findings “prooved” something, but rather because his findings were inadequate and not up to par in peer reviewed literature. Some scientists are simply below standard.
The fossil fuel industry is the most profitable industry ever to have existed and they often influence policy, spend millions to spread mis-information, pay off congressmen, etc. Still, regardless of how wealty this industry is, scientists have not stopped their work in the field of climate change. So scientists are not beholden to large corporations, powerful interest groups and super wealthy industries.
Still, having said all that, they do not publish “garbage” in their peer reviewed papers. And who determines what is quality work? Well, of course, the thousands of top scientists.
I remember being a student in elementary school in the 1970s and seeing a textbook illustration of South American tribes as they may have existed. It explained that the children had boards fastened to their heads over time to elongate their skulls as a sign of prestige. Some African tribes do things like this, such as elongate necks. Now more and more we are seeing very elongated skulls show up in different archeological digs. We were taught that the tribal parents went out of their way to elongate their childrens’ skulls as some sign of prestige, but did the Powers that Be know they are alien skeletons and wanted to implant the wrong idea of why the skulls are elongated. I don’t know.
The skulls are not merely artificially elongated human skulls. These skulls have different arrangements of their constituent plates from the standard human configuration; their suture lines are in different places.
It would seem that humans then attempted to raise their own status by mirroring these head shapes.

According to my friend who is just finishing up his PhD in physics (unrelated but has access to university papers) the soft tissue looks like it’s contamination. It’s at two other labs for testing. We are believing him that he was let go for his religious beliefs. The other side has said nothing, because legally they cannot and he knows that. So he can say nearly anything. If it were for religious beliefs he can sue. So I doubt it. Open minds work great!

I have read of another discovery in which soft tissues were supposedly found within a dinosaur’s skull. I’m pretty skeptical about all of this. Why? Because after all of these decades no such thing has ever been discovered much less backed with any real credible science. For creationist. Does this mean that Ice Ages were made up by Marxist? In my opinion, any question one may have has an answer and a solution in the Holy Bible. How dare mere mortals act superior to the Lord, yet they do all the time, one day they will be judged and they will know the truth.

We have to let the Bible interpret experience in this world, not the other way round. The predisposition doctrine has always been a unresolved issue in me. An all knowing …from before the foundation of the world God…knew all of us doctrine has always puzzled me..if God knew all this was going to happen why did He just end it all right after Adam and Eve. Seems God would have known Satan was going to rebel also. Even more intriguing..Satan is a creation of God …is both good and evil of God?

Without it applying to all God’s children and to them while they/we, were also in spirit/angelic form, then there can’t be “true” love/compassion, for God or anyone else.

Moving on… Predestination is explicitly stated in Scripture; “free will” is an Arminian doctrine of the Counter Reformation designed to undo the effects of Luther, Calvin, et al.
The Bible says nothing of the origins of sin; sure, Adam and Eve sinned, but the actual root of it is not disclosed. The forbidden fruit was designed to show them they were sinners, so at some stage between their creation and the act of eating the forbidden fruit, they had already sinned in their hearts by coveting that which was not permitted, and by disbelieving God.
The devil was instrumental in this, but then again, both salvation and damnation bring glory to God, demonstrating different aspects of His nature: mercy in forgiving, wrath at the unforgiven. Predestination and reprobacy also demonstrate another aspect of His being: the sovereignty of God to choose on whom he will have mercy and whom He will harden.
God does not conform to what popular Arminian evangelists say about Him. Theirs is an almost impotent entity who cannot save unless allowed by the “free will” of man. Their caricature of God loves and tries to save, but in vain. And they bafflingly conflate divine love with the existence of man’s imagined “free will”. But here’s what God’s Word says about it all:

I have no trouble accepting that the Earth is far younger than the widely accepted scientific establishment theories of a planet that is billions of years old. The Occam’s Razor argument is often used by the scientific establishment to justify why one theory is more likely to be correct than a competing theory.
According to the Occam’s Razor argument, if two theories appear to be equally valid, then the simpler explanation is more likely to be the correct one. For example, current scientific theory regarding the age of the Earth rely upon explanations based upon plate tectonics and continental drift, and use the carbon dating method by which the radioactive decay rate of carbon-14 into nitrogen-14 is used to estimate how old an object is based upon the relative amounts of carbon 14 and nitrogen 14. To me, this is unnecessarily complex. My theory, which is widely accepted by my fellow Pastafarians, and based upon unmeasurable evidence but highly probable conjecture, is that the Earth was created by an invisible Flying Spaghetti Monster approx. eight thousand years ago. When a scientist performs an experiment measuring the relative percentages of carbon and nitrogen-14 in a fossil of a dinosaur, the invisible Flying Spaghetti Monster is there, reaching over the scientist’s shoulder with his invisible noodly appendage, changing the results of the experiment to make it seem that the fossil is far, far older than it really is. As to why He does this is unknown; to me it is irrelevant. Firstly, carbon dating can only be used on specimens of around 5000 years of age.
Uranium-Lead decay ratios are used for older specimens, such as are found in rocks alleged to be ancient, and/or variations of these elements.
The science which entraps you is based upon the recent discovery that elements bombarded by bremstrahlung radiation are stripped of their outer electron shells. Once these protective layers are removed, the nucleus decays orders of magnitude faster than expected.
Thus, rocks claimed to be ancient can be infinitely younger than it appears.
The BR mentioned arose when the earth’s crust flexed catastrophically during the Flood of Noah’s time. This occurred in 2348 BC. Almost all science agrees on about 4000 to 4004 years, since the time of Adam and Eve, and before Christ came and went. We know there has been about 2014 years since Christ did that.
7000 years (before Adam and Eve) plus the approximate 6018 years since Adam and Eve; and this “Heaven and Earth Age” is about 13,018 years old.
The Heaven and Earth Age, before this Age, is millions, if not billions of years old. Science confirms it.
Difference is, the flesh man and woman, the majority of the population then, known as the ethnos/ethnic peoples, were created as “the man Adam” on God’s sixth day of this creation period. Adam “the man”, whence Eve came from, has a different name in the Hebrew tongue to confirm the difference. Making man’s first presence on earth, “in the flesh”, between 7018 to 8000 years ago.
All prehistoric creatures known as dinosaurs, were killed during the “first flood (NOT Noah’s) and Ice Age” a long time before that 13 to 14 thousand years time period. Scientist say that crocodiles and alligators are prehistoric. Maybe so, maybe God brought forth some creatures forward from that age; we can’t be 100% sure they are exactly the same today as they were then. But maybe so.
I believe man did walk the earth during the time of dinosaurs; but in his spirit/angelic bodies only. Man was created in the flesh for the first time on God’s sixth day of creation during this Age.
That brings forth a question I was perplexed with for many years, until recently; about the existence of the Neanderthal and Cro-Magnon beings,and how science has always taught that we were descendants of them.
New scientific DNA extraction and processing techniques, shown on special programming on PBS recently, has proven with almost 100% certainity that all the skulls and bones collected and tested of these creatures are not of human origin. Some tested to be the most like primate DNA and there was a slight possibility of DNA that “closely” resembled human DNA present.
In effect, they were not fully human, but “could” have been crossed with human DNA somehow. I have a theory, but I am in enough trouble with folks already with my beliefs and explanations.
The dating of those specimens of Neanderthal and Cro-magnons, all dated from as early as 20 to 30 thousand years ago until as far back as 300,000 years.
No human bones dating from 8000 years ago until that earliest time. Wonder why?
I can go along with that dating, and the possibility that they (Neandertals and Cro-Magnons) were created by manipulations of DNA by God’s children on earth then, not in the flesh, but in spirit bodies as angelic beings, male, and quite capable of crossing dna with large primates like the docile orangutans.
Does it matter in the BIG scheme of things? Not really, but I find it interesting, and can’t wait to find out what the actual truth is.

Flesh humans, were not indigenous to this planet prior to the beginning of this Earth Age, which began about 13 to 14 thousand years ago. God created all souls during the first Heaven and Earth Age and placed them into spirit bodies. Those bodies had no organic materials and didn’t need blood as a lifeline of support as a flesh body does. But it did have sperma/DNA.

The whole question is one of how he presented his findings. If he wrote a paper saying that therefore triceratops was around during Biblical times, one can understand how the s would h the f. But most of the time, you can sneak the discovery into the mainstream if you know how to be subtle. Publishing it, perhaps with dating techniques, and asking the scientific community to assist in explaining the anomaly is one way. If it stands up, the consensus can slowly change. Some of the greatest researchers with some of the most profound discoveries have been ignored/threatened/ostracized throughout history. Darwin, Einstein, Tesla, Galileo, etc….it wasn’t until years later and further research that people recognized the validity of their research. A great scientist will not deny the evidence…question the evidence, yes, but you can’t deny the evidence. I am a scientist and a Christian and can comfortably support the evidence of God.
There are loads and loads of scientific evidence to support the existence of God. “There is a God” written by an atheist turned christian went out to find the evidence to discredit God, but could only find evidence to support.
Unfortunately, most people don’t like it when it is pointed out to them something different than their belief structure or understanding of the world. To suggest a 6,000 to 10,000 year history of creation is just as much a theory as anything else, and the gap theory is just as valid as any other.

Several years ago, a thigh bone from a juvenile T-Rex was unearthed in Utah. The bone made its way to North Carolina State University. I’m not much of a Christian, I’ve never read the bible in it’s entirety, I don’t belong to any denomination, I don’t remember the last time I was in a church. I do respect those that do believe and I will not ridicule them. I myself find spirituality and divinity in nature.
I find it intriguing that every culture on this planet, no matter how isolated has a belief system. There’s something engrained in the human spirit that has a need for a higher power and a willingness to yield to it. Those that deny that engrained aspect of humanity are at odds with one of the major aspect of humanity, one that separates us from lower animals. There’s not another creature on this planet that demonstrates a spiritual belief.
To think that you are more evolved by denying your humanity, demonstrates that you are devolving into a lower species.
The funny thing is, if you were born in the Middle East you would have full faith in the Koran, and would hate Christians. Just goes to show you how religion dupes the ignorant as they are a product of their ignorant upbringing and brain washing.
I know I am going to get nailed on this but I have my own ideas on this. First the dinosaur was left over from millions of years ago and a few of these survived until several thousand years ago. There are many species of animals that lived tens of millions of years ago, the crocodile for one. If the DNA testing actually showed that this was a dinosaur and soft tissue, then there are other explanations. One is a type of perfect preserving of tissue such as bugs in amber. Of course it could be in error.
The problem I have always had with the planet not being billions of years old is geology and radioactive dating. Forget carbon dating, but certain isotopes decay at a very predictable rate. This is how they are able to make the atomic clock so accurate. Live tissue decay is another story with carbon, but radioactive decay is another story. Continental drift shows all too well that the plates were not moving at super rates of speed. IF they were there would be catastrophic evidence of this. It took hundreds of millions of years for the plates to get the way they are today.
What has bothered me also is why with all the other fossils have there not been this discovery of soft tissue? We had to take paleontology in college and along with stratigraphy live forms are deposited along rock masses, sedimentry, in which they were not rapidly dumped there but took eons. This is just the way physical geology works.
The process in which fossil fuels have become energy take much, much longer than a few thousand years. Plant and animal material requires heat and pressure to literally simmer for millions or years or longer. Landscapes also don’t change that rapidly from what you would see hundreds of millions of years ago to now. The type of plant life found in these fossils should still be around, as plants thrive much longer than anything. Find some seeds that still are alive enough to grow some of these plants hundreds of millions of years ago that are part of coal and other fossil makings, then there is a case.
Fossils to be preserved also must have the right conditions and why there are not bones from animals, dinosaur including are not all over the place.
I can’t stand liberals that shove their idealogy down people’s throats, but when you have science to back up geology this is where I have to say let’s look at the raw numbers behind all this. I have heard of human footprints in the same sandstone as a dinosaur indicating the two walked together. Someone would say this proves that Earth humans walked with dinosaurs. I say Earth humans, not someone visiting this planet. It could also indicate humans were around a lot longer than a few thousand years and had lived here long ago.
All I am saying that everyone should keep an open mind, as I am not saying that it is impossible that God created this planet like people believe. Through actually being in the field throughout college there are magnitudes more evidence that the planet is billions of years old. As my GreatGrandmother said, that was an extrmely devout Christian, God’s days should be judged in eons and not literally as 24 hour days. That the planet is that old and so what? Does that destroy one’s faith in God based on the defintion of time and dating?

The young earth creationists keep trying to convince people that there’s a disagreement among scientists regarding the age of the earth but no such disagreement exists. There’s plenty of evidence of an old earth. Such as annual ice layers going back 100,000 years in Antarctica, carbon dating, continental drift, and so forth.
Yes, I know what creation account in Genesis says. It wasn’t written to be a scientific document. Each creation day talks about opposites: heavens and the earth, night and day, water and dry ground, sun and moon, etc. If you take the creation account literally then you would have to conclude that the earth existed before the sun and that just isn’t possible.

Actually, they have found Wooly Mammoths in Siberia that still have ‘flowing’ blood. Not as in alive, but blood that can still flow through the animals veins.
But that’s not the weird part. 😉
Several of the Mammoths were found in the permafrost standing or upright, and some still had non-decayed grasses, buttercups and other things they ate in their mouths and stomachs. That means they were ‘flash frozen’
(like with liquid nitrogen). Birds Eye Corp did a study on the mass of the animals and said it would take at least 150 degrees below zero to quick freeze animals of that size.
Now everyone knows that live buttercups, grasses and other vegetation is not going to be alive at 150 degrees below zero…neither is anything else. This most likely means Siberia was a temperate climate at the time and a catastrophic temperature shift occurred, freezing them in place and time.
Lot’s of smart people have tried to explain it, but none have solved the riddle yet.

IF this story has even a grain of truth in it, (I can’t find any reference to Mark Armitage except on a couple of “creationist” web sites), this sure sounds to me like this guy tried the “Global Warmist” strategy of making his conclusions fit his religion. That’s not science, in any sense of the term. Many, many great scientists have been religious men; Newton, Galileo and Einstein are names a layman will recognize. But these religious men, and thousands upon thousands like them, for hundreds of years, have not subsumed their findings to some Papal bull published in ignorance of visible, provable fact.

Actually, this is not the first time soft tissue has been found. Trex bone with red blood cells have also been found. Even under perfect condtions, protein should not last over 1 million years before breaking down. Several issues with this story, not that I disagree with it but there are.
1. This has been found once before on a different type of Dinasaur bone. Some lady scientist found live tissue in I think a tyranasaurus or brontasaurus. At any rate a Dinasaur bone that supposedly went extinct 65 million years ago had live tissue so this is at least the second time.
2. Mainstream christinity is wrong with the 6k year theory, and no I am not mixing evilution with Creationism just read the first lines of the bible and you will see.
Taking it fundamentally and not saying they lied or manipulated the writing, or exagerated the ages the bible itself tells us a time span of at least 7k years had to pass from Adam down to Noah. Adam lived 900 years and add up the first 7 generations their ages at death it’s 7100 years or so. So much happened during those first years from Adam down to Noah there is not enough time for them to have lived and died and not gotten swept away in the flood. Even Noah live some 8-900 years so still several thousand years had to pass from the flood down to Abram/Abraham.
3.Science always wants to explain how similarities between Egypt and the aztecs and Puruvians could of happened, but since they say we didn’t exist or didn’t have much life before the breaking apart the continents they never make that destinction.
I do using my belief in the bible I do. We had Pangea and since we were created, and not evolved Trade and movement back and forth accrossed the Continent was the norm, and not having to be seafareres. Plus the bible talks about giants why could they not have been the ones to make the great pyrimids?

Another precursor earthquake east of the South Sandwich Islands. This one along with the past 3 point heavily to Japan and Taiwan. By August 10 there is a high probability of a major earthquake in one of both of these locations. Other areas that bear a good chance of a 6.5+ are:

-Samoa and Tonga
-Fiji arc to Kermadec Islands and North Island New Zealand
-Mexico and all Central America
Ecuador, Columbia, Peru, Argentina, Southern Bolivia to Northern Chile
-Kuril Islands to northeastern Russia
-Philippines
-Afghanistan to east Iran and north Pakistan
-Alaska to Vancouver Island
Moderate chance:
-Indonesia
-Mynamar
-Northern California
-Mid Atlantic Ridge
-Hawaii, only because the late November 1975 seven point five followed 18 days later after the earthquake on the exact same spot on the Carlsberg Ridge that hit a couple of days ago.
I tried to pinpoint areas more with this rather than just giving a large arc. Again, Japan and Taiwan have had many major earthquakes within 15 days after these past 4 precursor earthquakes have hit in the past. Anymore precursor earthquakes could change the locations slightly.

@ Socrates and VRF. I have always said whereever there are mountains or have been maountains there lies the potential for a substantial earthquake. This new hazard map kind of reflects this. While a 6.5 doesn’t seem like much, they can kill in high numbers to poorly contructed buildings. The Italy earthquake was only 6.3 and killed about 300 people a few years ago. A 6.5 on the New Madrid fault because of the very dense rock below would be like a 7.5 or maybe even a 7.6 on softer rock. The buildings around the New Madrid would be similar to Long Beach 1933, which was a 6.3 on the Newport Inglewood thrust fault that is a 90 degree thrust fault.
There was just a 5.1 many miles to the west on the southern Mid Atlantic Ridge with no recorded earthquakes in this area 4.5+ or higher. This shows me the South American plate is on the move and like a few months ago, this probably indicates a good size earthquake on the Nazca, Cocos, and or Caribbean plate. I have looked at the angle of movement and I would say the Leeward Islands and Venezeula are now in the danger zone. That 8.2 in Chile a few months ago followed activity on the South American plate away from the plate boundaries. I think this is a possible danger and will be more sure of this if and when there are more precursor earthquakes.

The Eastern Gate of Jerusalem has been sealed and shut and no man can walk through it until Jesus himself returns and enters Jerusalem through it. About 600 B.C. God told Ezekiel that –

It is IMPOSSIBLE for any man to go through that gate. It cannot be bulldozed open, dynamited open, or burned open. An earthquake couldn’t open that gate. A nuclear bomb couldn’t open it.

Jerusalem’s Eastern Gate has been closed since Jesus entered the city shortly before his crucifixion. It will remain closed until Jesus returns and opens it himself.

This is not a new discovery. The Institute for Creation Research (ICR.org) has been reporting on this for years. This is common knowledge to the scientists, but mainstream science hides it. There are plenty of fossils that show soft tissue but it’s covered up because it goes against evolution theory and old-earth theory.

It is not only “carbon dating” that is used to date an object. They also use the strata on which the evidence was found. There are a whole lot of other professional fields of study that go into determining the age of something. I see there are no real scientists commenting on here.
