It’s inevitable that those who committed no crime will be punished for the actions of madmen by laws designed to enslave them. After all, that’s how tyranny thrives and Democrats were quick to jump on gun control once again after the Texas church shooting.

Senator Chris Murphy, a Connecticut Democrat who has emerged as a leading advocate for gun control, made an obviously emotional appeal on Sunday for Congress to address “gun violence” in the wake of the deadly church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas. Murphy’s lengthy statement pleads and begs Congress to start writing laws that won’t affect criminals or lunatics but will hinder the decent American’s ability to defend themselves.

“The terrifying fact is that no one is safe so long as Congress chooses to do absolutely nothing in the face of this epidemic,” Murphy said in the statement, stressing that time to act “is now.”  He continued, saying: “As my colleagues go to sleep tonight, they need to think about whether the political support of the gun industry is worth the blood that flows endlessly onto the floors of American churches, elementary schools, movie theaters, and city streets.” The only more emotional appeal ever made was perhaps Barack Obama’s speech after the Sandy Hook massacre.

Let’s not forget that Murphy was a potential Vice Presidential pick for Hillary Clinton too, so he’s bound to be afraid of inanimate objects and manipulate feelings for support. Someone needs to tell Democrats that only people act, a gun cannot commit a crime on its own.

“Ask yourself, ” said Murphy.  “How can you claim that you respect human life while choosing fealty to weapons-makers over support for measures favored by the vast majority of your constituents,” he said, addressing his congressional colleagues. But the government sees all Americans, left or right, as threats and will seek gun control until everything that can be considered a weapon is banned.

Murphy also mentioned the mass shooting that took place in his home state in 2012, when a gunman opened fire on Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, killing 20 children and six staff members.

“My heart sunk to the pit of my stomach, once again, when I heard of today’s shooting in Texas. My heart dropped further when I thought about the growing macabre club of families in Las Vegas and Orlando and Charleston and Newtown, who have to relive their own day of horror every time another mass killing occurs,” he wrote, referring to the Orlando Pulse Nightclub shooting and the Charleston church massacre.

“The paralysis you feel right now – the impotent helplessness that washes over you as news of another mass slaughter scrolls across the television screen – isn’t real. It’s a fiction created and methodically cultivated by the gun lobby, designed to assure that no laws are passed to make America safer because those laws would cut into their profits,” he wrote. The gun lobby didn’t create that “fiction.”  The biggest fiction, however, is that laws will protect people.  It’s safe to say there’s a ban on murder and assault with deadly weapons, yet somehow, that ink on paper isn’t stopping lunatics from committing crimes or killing innocents – and those laws never will protect anyone from a psychotic madman.

The government doesn’t care about anyone.  And since the crazy person who committed this horrific crime is dead, laws that will punish those who had absolutely nothing to do with this crime are being pushed by emotionally weak politicians who don’t care about anyone but themselves and their power over others.

        • History shows that gun or weapons confiscation almost always precedes genocide.

“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms…disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed one.” – Thomas Jefferson

“The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions. A Little Gun History Lesson
          http://rense.com/general81/ligun.htm

The US has been subjected to MANY years of deliberate anti-gun propaganda.

Eric Holder Admits He Wants to Brainwash Americans – Against Guns (Video from 1995)
“What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns, especially young people, and make it something that’s not cool, that it’s not acceptable, it’s not hip to carry a gun anymore, in the way in which we’ve changed our attitudes about cigarettes.”

“At the end of this clip, Holder says anti-gun ads should run every day, and we need to “really brainwash people to think about guns in a vastly different way.”

          • Laws laws laws… There are not more laws, just ask AG Sessions! The rule of law is dead, and it has come down to the barrel of a gun. If you go unarmed today, your just a victim of the establishment.

            • Mr. West, welcome. When I get into a life-threatening situation I don’t even think about any law. There’s no time to think about anything. You have to act. anyone points a weapon at me will be history along with anyone who interferes with my actions. Self-defense is self-defense and nothing else. Tampering with self-defense is the same as tampering with life itself. You just don’t do that.

          • KY Mom

“History shows that gun or weapons confiscation almost always precedes genocide.”

Just because a civilian population is disarmed doesn’t mean that genocide is coming but genocide hasn’t yet occurred on an armed civilian population. Aaron Zelman (may he be known for good) of JPFO did a great study of this. More disarmed by law civilians were killed by genocide in the 20th century than soldiers in all of the wars. The tally exceeds 55 million.

        • OOps God Bless, James

          • Congress should immediately act and pass legislation that makes it a crime to murder, to commit homicide, to open fire a gun into public places, to shoot people in schools, churches, and shopping malls.

If laws were passed prohibiting those things, then maybe passing a mere “law” would fix the problem.

            Do the right thing congress.

            • ummmmm, don’t we already HAVE those laws?….if you were being sarcastic, it didn’t work for ME?….bottom line is there were MANY laws broken in this failure of a system of “gun-control”.

              • The point buttcrackofdoom, is that we already do have those laws and it didn’t matter at all to the criminally minded. When the laws aren’t for the criminals, then who are they for?

                • The legal system is all about control. Politicians pass laws for headlines.

There are nearly a dozen states that have gun laws banning Teflon coated bullets, because it was said they were cop killer bullets that would go through body armor. Teflon coating bullets does not in fact make them armor piercing. It was however a subplot in a fictional TV mini-series called “V” from 1983, and a 1982 NBC special on cop killer bullets. In the movie alien invaders had body armor that was defeating earth resistance groups. Enter Micheal Ironside the bad a$$ good guy, paramilitary type character, who brings “Teflon Coated Armor Piercing Pistol and Rifle Ammunition” to save the day! The NBC propaganda special also reported the lie that Teflon coating a bullet makes it armor piercing.

States all accross the US rushed to ban Teflon Coated bullets. I live in one of those states that passed a “sensible sounding” science fiction gun law. If we could have saved just one child, oh the children. Legislatures can’t be trusted to do anything right.

                • Seems they are only for you n i

            • Sterling S: agree, the justice system is corrupt, favoring/pandering to criminals with no death penalty w/dozens of appeals even tho’ the perp is caught red handed/DNA match, etc. Families of victims have zero closure even for murder and rape in the S.E. conservative areas! Appeals go on and on. A timely execution is in order so maybe criminals will get the message (Muslims don’t care either way as it is their doctrine to kill infidels like the recent NYC truck incident which he will be in a cushy jail with all the perks for yrs.) Our justice/court system is a joke too many liberal/corrupt judges. I have zero respect for it and politicians in general who refuse to pass sensible laws.

Any idiot can set themself up as some sort of expert and then
                spew out lies!
Guns don”t kill people, evil people do.
Religion does not kill, evil people do.
When have you read the Quran???
The whole thing, not just one phrase put out by some self anointed expert?
I’ve been reading this blog for years and have not bothered
to comment on the lies about Islam that some who have no true knowledge spew out.
Please, don’t fall for the garbage that happened in Germany in the 20’s and 30’s. Those who could be called Muslim and commit murder are not following Islam. They are not Muslim.
Its just one more lie to divide the people.
                What is your source??
Look for the truth. I did and I was shocked to find that there were so many lies being repeated by misinformed people.
Sort of like the lies being put forth by the anti gunners about us gun owners.
                What is there agenda?
Islam is not the problem, evil people are.
Guns are not the problem, evil people are.
Please Evil people are a problem.
And for those who would attack this comment, what is your source? It is not an honest Iman and the Quran.
Is there such a thing as an honest lier.
There is no such thing as an Ismanic terrorist, those acts are forbibben in the Quran. What is your source?
What is your agenda. To spread a lie? To parrot a lie put forth by a dishonest person. What is your source.

                • Actually the Koran says many things, including contradictory things.

To understand the Koran, you must understand the term deprecation. In a nut shell, if the Koran tells you to love your enemy, to make a treaty with your enemy, and to murder your enemies, unless there are clear contextual differences the saying that applies is the last one written by Mahamed. The Koran is not written in consecutive or chronological order, or any commonly known order. In fact it’s quite mixed up. To accurately interpret what the Koran says on any subject requires a learned Imam who has studied the Koran, Hadith and life of the prophet. No one else is qualified to interpret the Koran, not you or I. To do so you commit blasphemy. Common Muslims cannot interpret or even discuss the meaning of the Koran, they are required to be able to recite it though.

For the non Muslim simply grasp this, as Mohamed became older his cult became viciously violent and moved to a war on earth footing. His most violent commands were his last. This was when Islam spread the fastest. Those are the commands from the Koran Muslims must follow, not the politically correct love everyone crap from the early days of Mohamed’s life. The rest is subterfuge.

                  • You speak total bs. I am Muslim and I am certain that you are full of crap and do not know the truth.
I’ve read the whole Quran and what you claim is not in it.
                    You must be a troll.

                    • In all due respect(like I have that)F you…and that Kuran…its full of hate period…I’ll wipe my ass with it…in front of a 100 muslims and then send them to meet 72 virgins personally …

The Story about the Texas Church Shooting Gun Control Advocates Don’t Want You to Hear

“Devin Patrick Kelley got his gun illegally.”

“A good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun.”

“What the gun-control people are missing is that it was a neighbor with a gun who ended this cowardly attack on unarmed churchgoers. This is the part of the story that gun control advocates don’t want you to hear.

It’s the part that they conveniently ignore while screaming that guns are the problem.

If it hadn’t been for two brave men and judicious marksmanship, Kelley’s killing spree could have continued. There could be more dead bodies in Sutherland Springs, Texas this morning.

Because the police didn’t show up until this situation was long over.”

      2. Ever see that video of the robber that goes into the diner full of cops and falls down behind the counter and when he stands up there are 30 people pointing guns at him? **THAT** is what should happen (and not just cops, but all citizens) when someone goes somewhere to rob/shoot people.

**NOT** creating a “everywhere is a gun free zone” where everyone is a sitting duck.

Hmmm. A recent convert to Islam and affiliated with Antifa.

That could explain his motive for the killing spree.

              • He was not a Muslim. Apparently, he was a known and very vocal Atheist.
Just because some moron posts to the internet doesn’t make it true and blindly parroting untruths doesn’t help our cause.

                • Pictures from his own Facebook page suggest otherwise.

                  • Ky Mom: I don’t do social media, but many really want to know if he was a Muslim convert since the main news media hides truth anyway. Reuters should have more info. will check later. Thanks for input, time will reveal more info.

“Why Switzerland has the lowest crime rate in the world.”

The Czech Republic is actually more liberal with firearms as “carry permits” are really available. The Switzerland is almost entirely composed is Swiss people. They severely limit immigration only allowing permanent resident status to people with something to offer like a high education. Their economy is very good and therefore have almost no underclass. In essence the government is responsive to the needs of their citizens. While the Swiss are in armed (at home) its not that that stops crime as the Swiss aren’t criminally inclined. Send Camden NJ to Switzerland and Switzerland becomes Camden.

            • The US has 12% of its population behaving in a socially dysfunctional fashion committing 55% of the murders and 68% of the armed robberies largely upon themselves. You can have a bazooka to deal with that demographic and your still going to have an incredibly high violent crime rate.

      3. Good men stands by up to evil (armed) will take the day every time!!!

        Isn’t antifa a Soros\Demorat operation???

      4. May God bless Stephen Willeford, age 55, who is a gentleman with no military experience but by all accounts is an EXCELLENT SHOT. He saved Texas taxpayers a lot of money.

            • when you say eric place-holder and gun in the same sentence, you KNOW it’s gonna be RIDICULOUS….BTW, has he been carted off to prison yet?

              • bcod,

                I agree.

This is how the far left views guns.

              • I thought E.H.’s middle name or nickname was “gun runner” from the fast and furious operation to blame the 2nd Amt.?

      5. Remove the right to self defense with a gun for every politician that has ever voted for gun control. Or convict and jail those politicians as accomplices to every shooting.

        • Anonymous, good points. All members of Congress have armed bodyguards. Take those bodyguards away from them and then they’ll know how we common people feel when we’re on the streets UNARMED. That Chris Murphy libturd can go f#$% himself. I don’t give up anything.

          • The Deplorable Braveheart

Actually they have protection in Congress but no guards as a matter of routine unless there is some unique circumstance. US Senator Rand Paul was just attacked at his home and severely beaten. They wanted exemptions to carry laws and fortunately didn’t get it. I suspect, like the incident with Ted Kennedy’s personal bodyguards carrying MP5s in DC about 40 years ago law enforcement “looks the other way”.

        • Another mass shooting and a connection with “high doses of psych meds”.

“A former middle school classmate told Fox News that Kelley would complain about his parents and medications during school.”

“His parents had him on high doses of ‘psych’ meds from 6th to 9th grade, the time I knew him,” said the student, who only wished to be identified as Reid.

      6. Mac….why do you give space on your site to idiot Congressmen like this? Leave it to the leftist MSM. Don’t give them the free attention. They should be ignored…..not quoted.

The fact is, a hero with a rifle was what stopped this sick evil shred of human excrement before he killed more people.

The shooter picked a target where he knew nobody would be armed. That’s what they always do….because they are sick demented cowardly individuals. This guy was a narcissistic snowflake atheist who may have apparently had a grudge against his former in-laws. (At least that’s the information I have seen in other articles) And he may well have had sympathies to Antifa as well. Who knows?

What we DO know….is a hero with a rifle prevented further carnage. And another hero was willing to risk his life to help pursue the murderer. That is the headline you have in your article Mac….not giving air-time to a left-wing commie Democrat politician from an east coast liberal left-wing state.

        • SHUNNED….not ignored, but SHUNNED….there, i fixed it for yuh…..better yet, tarred, feathered,….and run out of town.

      7. Tell the truth senator, what you really want is a complete disarming of the “Right” people.

        • Didn’t take long for the predictable “take the guns, ammo, magazines….”; or hell, bows and arrows, spears, sticks and stones from people to start up once more. Ignore the fact that gun deaths have gone down as ownership has risen. Ignore the facts that if Mr. Willeford had been in Church attendance; maybe – just maybe, he’d’ve been armed and able to respond even faster. What is it that scares these elected officials? I’ll tell you – the fact that the day is coming when sides will be chosen and they will be on their own to face the injustices they’ve wrought.

      8. Prayers for the victims and survivors. Senator Murphy, in my opinion, is only very slightly less detestible than the mad monster who committed this horrific crime. That he would stand on the still warm bodies of these innocent people to trumpet a political cause, much less one that would limit their right to defend themselves, is utterly contemptible. In this day and age more than ever, even the most prudent, non-violent, non-confrontational people should consider arming and training themselves for their own protection. It should say, no one is safe until Congress is rid of members who do not understand what “shall not be infringed” means.

      9. “A safe society is one in which the criminal does not know who is armed” PLUS “An armed society is a polite society”

        • “A safe society is one in which the criminal does not know who is armed”

I’d also say that a safe society is one in which EVERYONE is armed (or, everyone thinks that they are). Look at the town that passed a law that every household must own a gun. Crime rate dropped to near zero because the criminals won’t go there.

      10. Thanks for another great article Mac. Ignorant politicians, like Murphy, think they can ban all things that might hurt anyone in their communist utopia. Politicians of Murphy’s ilk believe guns, cars, knives, any gas that might displace breathable air, trucks, boats, etc. should be banned from common citizens. There is some risk and many rewards to live in a free country. Dummies, like Murphy, need to read the Constitution and the Federalist Papers. Patriots don’t believe Murphy can or should save us from all things. Criminals will always be dangerous, free citizens have a right to bear arms against those criminals or any other animal that endangers our families.

      11. O.K. Senator give up your armed escort then, and go walk the streets unprotected.

      12. Say or do what they want; I’m not giving up my guns. They can come and take them if they wish. Molon Labe

      13. At this point in my life they can make whatever laws they want, i will not comply period, the reality is that there are huge holes in the mental health system, there are huge hole in the sense of people acting responsibly when these mental retards start tweaking and people know it. Everything i have read so far suggests that this doof got his gun illegaly anyway, but of course the democrats are going to penalize guys like me who have their rifles for sport and recreation primarily.
The second ammendment was written in a time of war for independence and the purpose is quite clear, it has nothing to do with hunting, even though the last two does ive taken were both with my 7.62×51 REPR.

        • Nailbanger, Braveheart is with you all the way. Private deals on guns get done all the time. The trick is to NOT GET CAUGHT if you have any felonies, etc. Yeah the political scum will try to penalize guys like you, me, and the rest of us but they’re going to have a real problem with that plan. I’ll do my part to make sure it’s a problem.

        • LWRCI REPR my go to.

      14. Why Did it Have to be … Guns?
        by L. Neil Smith

Over the past 30 years, I’ve been paid to write almost two million words, every one of which, sooner or later, came back to the issue of guns and gun-ownership. Naturally, I’ve thought about the issue a lot, and it has always determined the way I vote.

People accuse me of being a single-issue writer, a single- issue thinker, and a single- issue voter, but it isn’t true. What I’ve chosen, in a world where there’s never enough time and energy, is to focus on the one political issue which most clearly and unmistakably demonstrates what any politician—or political philosophy—is made of, right down to the creamy liquid center.

Make no mistake: all politicians—even those ostensibly on the side of guns and gun ownership—hate the issue and anyone, like me, who insists on bringing it up. They hate it because it’s an X-ray machine. It’s a Vulcan mind-meld. It’s the ultimate test to which any politician—or political philosophy—can be put.

If a politician isn’t perfectly comfortable with the idea of his average constituent, any man, woman, or responsible child, walking into a hardware store and paying cash—for any rifle, shotgun, handgun, machinegun, anything—without producing ID or signing one scrap of paper, he isn’t your friend no matter what he tells you.

If he isn’t genuinely enthusiastic about his average constituent stuffing that weapon into a purse or pocket or tucking it under a coat and walking home without asking anybody’s permission, he’s a four-flusher, no matter what he claims.

What his attitude—toward your ownership and use of weapons—conveys is his real attitude about you. And if he doesn’t trust you, then why in the name of John Moses Browning should you trust him?

If he doesn’t want you to have the means of defending your life, do you want him in a position to control it?

If he makes excuses about obeying a law he’s sworn to uphold and defend—the highest law of the land, the Bill of Rights—do you want to entrust him with anything?

If he ignores you, sneers at you, complains about you, or defames you, if he calls you names only he thinks are evil—like “Constitutionalist”—when you insist that he account for himself, hasn’t he betrayed his oath, isn’t he unfit to hold office, and doesn’t he really belong in jail?

Sure, these are all leading questions. They’re the questions that led me to the issue of guns and gun ownership as the clearest and most unmistakable demonstration of what any given politician—or political philosophy—is really made of.

He may lecture you about the dangerous weirdos out there who shouldn’t have a gun—but what does that have to do with you? Why in the name of John Moses Browning should you be made to suffer for the misdeeds of others? Didn’t you lay aside the infantile notion of group punishment when you left public school—or the military? Isn’t it an essentially European notion, anyway—Prussian, maybe—and certainly not what America was supposed to be all about?

And if there are dangerous weirdos out there, does it make sense to deprive you of the means of protecting yourself from them? Forget about those other people, those dangerous weirdos, this is about you,and it has been, all along.

Try it yourself: if a politician won’t trust you, why should you trust him? If he’s a man—and you’re not—what does his lack of trust tell you about his real attitude toward women? If “he” happens to be a woman, what makes her so perverse that she’s eager to render her fellow women helpless on the mean and seedy streets her policies helped create? Should you believe her when she says she wants to help you by imposing some infantile group health care program on you at the point of the kind of gun she doesn’t want you to have?

On the other hand—or the other party—should you believe anything politicians say who claim they stand for freedom, but drag their feet and make excuses about repealing limits on your right to own and carry weapons? What does this tell you about their real motives for ignoring voters and ramming through one infantile group trade agreement after another with other countries?

Makes voting simpler, doesn’t it? You don’t have to study every issue—health care, international trade—all you have to do is use this X-ray machine, this Vulcan mind-meld, to get beyond their empty words and find out how politicians really feel. About you. And that, of course, is why they hate it.

And that’s why I’m accused of being a single-issue writer, thinker, and voter.

But it isn’t true, is it?

        • Well, this brings up a thought that I have not heard about yet.

How about we blame ALL politicians for what 1 does? Throw them all in jail when 1 does corruption, etc.

They’ll say “You can’t do that because 1 was taking bribes”.

Exactly! Then why are you targeting lawful gun owners?

          • I agree 100% and have been saying that for at least a decade or more, it especially fits since most of these political hacks have been in the swamp for a decade or more so they are all complicit regardless of what side of the isle they are supposedly from

        • Nailbanger, you nailed it again. That is your best post ever.

      15. Nailbanger: Very well said.

      16. To paraphrase Will Rogers, no one is safe while congress is in session.

      17. These days if no one is getting shot up then there is no news. Keeps them on their toes pushing anti self defense by the people in police state America.

      18. ‘No One Is Safe Until Congress Acts On Gun Violence’

        He is right.

        Pass the national cary Law.

Do you think for one second that 26 would be dead if two people in that Church would have been armed. Not likely.

There is no way you can sto a person that wants to kill people if they have made up thier minds. If they don’t use guns they will use something else. I wish it wasn’t just that simple, but it is.

Let us all Pray for those folks in Tx. Don’t forget the Church of Christ in Tenn. a couple weeks ago.

        Sgt.

        • Unfortunately crazy stupid is the bigger issue here than guns, like i mentioned above, in a small town like that the last thing on folks minds on a sunday morning would be the possibility some wierd good shooting up their sunday church service or bible study. The thing that bothers me is that this guy was obviously impaired, just looking at the pictures, he looks like all these other SJW nutjobs, i can guarantee most church groups are going to take serious steps to secure their perimeter from here on

          • Hey Nail,
            Good comments today!
            but you have to admit
“i can guarantee most church groups are going to take serious steps to secure their perimeter from here on”
Isn’t going to legally happen in Hawaii since we aren’t
allowed to have loaded guns anywhere that isn’t a
possessor’s residence, business, or place of sojourn.
            HRS 134-23 and 134-25.
Exception is made for hunting and target shooting HRS 134-5.
We are sheep waiting to be shorn when in public places.

            • It must be a real shooting gallery in Hawaii? I watch Hawaii 5-0 and all the bad guys always have fully automatic machine guns, and your gun stores look like boutiques with wall to wall AR-15’s with high capacity magazines and machine guns.

I especially like the episode where that bad guy had a Mac-10 that fired for a full 20 seconds without requiring reloading. Freaking magic FM! (For watchers, Mac-10 fires almost 900 rounds per minute, that’s 15 per second or 30 in 2 seconds and the gun is empty, as well it was near impossible to control, a lot of rounds would end up going into the ceiling. The Mac-10 was considered a failure, and suitable for a Hollywood prop only.)

When I watch Hawaii-5-0 I like to play name that gun. They pull some dussies out of the closet, there must be a really cool firearms museum somewhere on the islands they hit up for props.

Speaking of Hollywood jumping the shark, I’m catching up with the “Walking Dead” and Daryl bless his soul, appears to have a 14 round Kel-Tec shotgun that fires full auto and never runs out of shells! I gotta get me one of them!

        • Sarge, the Nashville shooter was an anti-Christian Somalian. The Texas shooter was an anti-Christian left wing nut job. Time for a Crusade.

        • Sarge, agreed. I’m still going armed myself for the time being.

      19. Chris Murphy, you’re a Piece Of SHIT!
The blood on the floor is not even dried and here you go.

I propose that YOUR gun laws are at fault, if the “Laws” did not ban firearms from “American churches, elementary schools, movie theaters, and city streets” from the Law Abiding people of this country, than murders like this would not happen or would have a MUCH different outcome.

You might remember that one of those “Law Abiding Citizens” stopped this murder, NOT the Police, Not the Laws, NOT your STUPID remarks. A well armed CITIZEN!!!!!

Why do you think (assuming you can think, doubtful) these murderer’s choose places like this? Because they know that “Law Abiding People” will not be armed and there is nobody to stop their killings.

I Restate the FACT that “YOUR Laws” are the cause of these types of Murders, their Blood is on your hands Chris Murphy. You and people that want to disarm the “Law Abiding Citizens”.

        • Howz it hangin NRP,,,
Hope all good, folks at MSP were jonesin for you this weekend!

          • MSB?Sorry, fat finger syndrome

          • Hey Nailbender

Doing ok, still PISSED at some of the antics on MSB, but will get over.

            • I musta missed that, stay frosty bud

        • NRP, truer words were never spoken. Good post.

      20. These no good sons of bitches in DC just don’t get it. They will NOT stop until they think they can seize ALL firearms within the country. They can’t get it through their empty skulls that criminals will NEVER obey any of their bullshit laws to begin with. So all law abiding free citizens have to suffer because a very small minority break sad law – I don’t think so Jack!! I refuse to give up my guns. Fuck off with that noise.

        • oh, they get it alright

they are scared, and rightfully so.. they haven’t been doing the Peoples work for so dam long, they are scared shitless of when We the People are going to stand up and demand they get to F-ken work or be homeless and foodless too..and probably unarmed because they let someone else guard their own hen house like the idiots they have proven to be

its fear of retribution ,, thats the smell we smell .. they fear the day we rise and demand they serve their country or get served something small fast and heavy for its size

      21. Keep in mind that the shooter had a dishonorable discharge from the Military. That is the same as a felony. He was illegal to own firearms. Plus he had a domestic battery conviction. Double illegal. Can’t make it any more illegal than that. Who ever got him those guns can be charged with the murders. A word of advice, also. If you are separated or divorced from a nut job, arm yourself at all times. Period. You are responsible for your safety. Not someone else.

        • He bought the gun himself at Academy Sporting Goods. He lied on the ATF questionnaire. The important point nobody has commented on is the he PASSED the FBI instant check system
          (which he should not have).

          • Stuart if he bought the gun from a licensed FFL dealer he should’ve been FAILED on the background check, UNLESS he bought it while still in the military and BEFOREhis discharge and domestic incident. When he was first charged with his domestic incident, they were supposed to run a check on him to see if he had any weapons and if so he would have to turn them in. Someone dropped the ball somewhere.

            • That is precisely my point DB – the “Instant check” system does not work…. but no body in the MSM will point that out.

              • Yes Stuart…..I’m wondering how he passed the FBI screening myself. Does the FBI not have access to the records of those dishonorably discharged from the military?

Another question……This guy evidently had a security guard license of some type. How the heck does a felon get a license for that?

I took a look at the Federal Firearms Transfer Form 4473. This guy had to have lied at least three times on the form.

                1. Dishonorably discharged.
                2. Convicted of a crime involving domestic violence
                3. Subject to a restraining order (don’t know for sure on that one, but I would assume since he engaged in domestic violence ….including fracturing the skull of his infant child…that some form of restraining order was in effect.

These idiot congressmen and senators call for more gun laws, but the Federal Government does not competently execute and enforce the laws that are already on the books.

This guy should have never walked out of that store with anything more powerful than a pellet gun. AND he should have been arrested and prosecuted for perjury for lying on the 4473 form.

So hey…let’s deprive people of their right to defend themselves and all the while not use the powers that law enforcement already has. Right . Makes a lot of sense.

                You just can’t fix stupid.

            • It appears, assuming the media is correct that his Dishonorable Discharge fell short of a felony equivalent which would preclude a legal firearm purchase. I’m ignorant of military law but have heard of variations in this type of discharge with different ramifications. He was denied a carry permit.

              • Apparently he was convicted of domestic violence (beat up his wife and cracked his infant child’s skull) which is a bar to firearms ownership.

        • @Him…

It looks to me that the people responsible for him getting a weapon are none other than your friendly FBI.

          (Federal Bureau of Incompetence)

      22. No one in America is safe until Connecticut stops sending idiots to Washington. Doesn’t seem to be much chance of that.

        • Stuart, Connecticut is a LIBERAL state run by libturd morons. The GOOD people in that state have no voice, period.

          • Then they should have some self respect and leave.
            They keep feeding the beast.
            No sympathy from me.

      23. F— him.

      24. No one is safe until Connecticut secedes from the union.

        • If Connecticut is that BAD, what about CALIFORNIA ??? They are far worse in gun laws. You can’t buy or own 5 out of 7 of my firearms there. No .50 cal, no clip fed (5 of my weapons including all the pistols), lots of other restrictions but I live far from there so I generally ignore them. And while it is VERY difficult to get one there, they do not recognize a Carry Permit from anywhere outside the state. Thus, I’m never going there.

      25. Don’t recall electing these people to tell me what I can and cannot have………..All they do it take, take, take…

        • CPR62, welcome and I agree. No one tells me what can or can’t have either.

      26. Can someone explin this obsession with the so called ‘gun showloophole’? Where did the idea of people buying guns at shows not having background checks on them come from? Here in Arizona they most certainly do.

        • Maybe you are misinformed. It has always been legal to buy a gun from another person (private party). So this is true at a gun show also – it MUST BE from an individual.

Buying a gun from a gun dealer, whether new or used, DOES require a background check.

          • Southside, the alleged ‘gun show loophole’ doesn’t even exist. That’s one of the oldest arguments the anti-gun crowd still uses to try to get us disarmed.

        • “Where did the idea of people buying guns at shows not having background checks on them come from?”

It came from the Liberal politicians and promoted by the MSM to mislead the non-shooting public into thinking that the background check requirements of gun dealers somehow didn’t apply to dealers selling at gun shows. The intent, of course, was to outlaw gun shows.

Background checks are a Federal regulation and apply to all Federally licensed firearms dealers in all states no matter where they sell their product. Period.

          • The loophole they claim and it can change per state is a private person can get a table at a show and sell private guns legally without a background check. I am a vendor at said shows, and the only requirement is that they be an Arizona resident. (I live in Arizona). Heck I’ve bought some good deals at yard sales too.

But you’ll notice none of these killers got guns from such a place. Vegas (if you believe that BS story) and now Texas all bought from FFL dealers. We have enough laws. Lets find a way to keep these nut bags from society instead.

            • This mass muderer fractured his own babies skull and beat his wife silly for not wearing a burka and only got one year in jail. why was this OJ wanabe not still in prison. Texas and USAF legal system failed so a sharpshooting plumber had to take care of flushing him down the sewer. Thanks NRA members for the church “gun free” zone. he was prolly on brain drugs too just like NRA idiots.

      27. Most of these mass shooters are ex-military.

If they want to make rules to help solve the issue of mass shootings then maybe we need to address the problem of turning humans in to murderers, sending them in to MURDER ZONES TO COMMIT MURDER” and then bring them back in to society and expect it all to be fine with all of them.

I understand the majority of ex-miltary can handle the transition, but some can not and we need to help those people, not discard them like used ammo.

As far as passing laws to stop things from happening???

Do they mean like passing laws against prostitution, laws against using illegal drugs?? laws against speeding in your your car?

LAWS DO NOT STOP PEOPLE FROM DOING THINGS!!

And trying to take away everyone guns? What idiot thinks that will help law abiding citizens? The genie is long out of the bottle, The U.S. is armed to the hilt. There are billions of guns and trillions of rounds of ammo… and they are not magically going away just because law abiding citizens turn their guns in.

Anyone dreaming (suggesting) that thugs, punks, murderers, nutjobs, criminals etc etc will turn in their weapons if they pass a law is an idiot and further does not deserve to be a Representative of the people.

Our problem runs deeper than passing laws.

Who knows how many military trained murderers are “one bad day” (one mother in law argument) away from the next mass shooting.

We need to help these people who are coming back from “murder zones”

BUT NO!!!! WE DO THE OPPOSITE OF THAT!!! THE VA IS JOKE!!

This is not a gun problem,
it is a society problem, a mental health problem.

Please do not misunderstand, I am disrespecting our military vets, on the contrary I am saying we need to honor and respect them by making sure they are all ready to come back and live in non murder zones.

        • Well, I’ve said in the past – We can tell the Government that FIRST they take the guns away from the criminals, and there are **NO** gun crimes for 10 years – ****THEN**** we will maybe give up our guns.

          • Nope, not even than

        • This animal never was ready to live in non- murder zones even as a civlilian!

      28. We don’t need gun control….we need CULTURE CHANGE.
We need to learn Christian values and enforce them!

We need to teach, ” Do unto others as you would have them do
        unto you.”
We need to teach, ” Love one another…as you love yourself.”

We need to teach, ” What goes around, comes around to you”….
and acting badly….will come around and bite you in the butt…bigly!

Back in the 1930’s -1950’s people in the mid west didn’t even lock
        their doors.
In fact, most doors could be opened with a simple
        SKELETON KEY.
I never locked my doors at night….even if I was alone!
Breakins, robberies, killings, and all that crap was extremely
        rare back then.
Besides, on my farm….I had a huge German Shepard that
knew who was supposed to be there and who wasn’t. Once
the blacksmith came to shoe my horses after dark and he
stayed in his truck because the dog nearly climbed through the
window “on attack”. He left immediately.
I could not believe his description as the most vicious dog he’d
        ever seen.
For 10 years,,,to all our friends and family…. she was
a “perfect pussy cat”. She even let kids climb on her.
(She loved to hunt. Get the 12 gauge out, she
would actually do her “happy dance”.)

        • Sounds like my upbringing

      29. No one is ever safe from anything. When did this become a thing? You can take steps to become “safer”, but you are never safe.

      30. We are not Australia, we are not going to gleefully turn over our defensive capabilities because of some politically motivated false flag. Not going to happen. The only way to remove our right to own a firearm (thus our ability to defend ourselves) is through force. They have to show up, kick doors in, kill the inhabitants one by one. Let them try, and when they do, we can take our country back for good.

      31. the fukn filth and scum is in this country because of liberals, fuk em, they are the problem.

      32. Thanks everyone for the gun show posts. You would not believe how many people think there is no background check at these shows. Ignorance is rampant regarding our gun laws

      33. One thing to keep in mind is that the perpetrators in these mass shootings are almost always wearing body armor. Elmer Keith or Bill Jordan said, “You shoot at the best thing you can until something better comes along”.

      34. Only your enemy, wants you disarmed?

      35. Make it an automatic death penalty for the person committing a crime with a gun.

      36. OK Fine , They want our GUNS ? Then I DEMAND that EVERYONE who takes a alcohol drink should loose his or her Drivers License !! After all look at the thousands of people who loose their lives to Drunk driving . So lets carry this out to its logical conclusion , Buy a bottle of any booze loose your driving privileges . Want to home brew ? Then you go to jail !

      37. The USAF has admitted they failed to enter him into the database as a convicted felon. Hearing a democratic politician say he’s concerned about human life is laughable, keep killing the babies senator!

      38. Democrat Senator: ‘No One Is Safe Until Congress Acts On Gun Violence’

        Fuck this ASSHOLE!!!!!

      39. 1- We need to keep in mind that the shooter was probably pre-chipped and that they ‘activated’ his chip the same way they did the Batman movie theater shooter, the September Naval Yard shooter, and others. This technology is based on the original work done by the late Jose Delgado who left his research when he realized his work was being used for evil.

2- Any medications prescribed for the alleged shooters, something that always seems to get a lot of publicity, is a ruse to cover or mask that they were/are chipped. Do not take the chip, the mark of the beast, for you then give up your free will, you will hear voices commanding you to do things you will be powerless to refuse, and you consign your soul to Hell for eternity.

3- What we all need to discuss NOW is how to get both retired and off-duty law enforcement to work out agreements to protect both our churches and our schools.

Do we have to WAIT for any MORE such tragedies?

Yes, that is a TON of churches and schools to protect, but I believe this is the conversation all of America needs to be having now. Yes, we would need a suitable screening process, and of course, not every church or school district would accept this. Nor would I want any child scared by their presence.

4- The ALTERNATIVE is to LEGISLATE that the Police be stationed at every school.

But I do NOT want a ‘police state’, per se. So I am conflicted as to how to solve this particular problem. Confiscating everyone’s guns will lead to greater evil because it won’t stop the evil in some people’s hearts.

“The root of all war is fear”, wrote the Trappist Monk Thomas Merton, and the evil people are certainly trying to strike up fear. Our country needs to have a dialogue about this, one that is civil, respectful, and rational and I am writing this out of concern, not out of fear.

In Israel, school teachers are allowed to carry.

As a very wise Jesuit priest taught me at age 18, “Violence is that which violates, force is that which protects.”

        – the Lone Ranger

      40. Guns do not kill people, never has, never will..
        PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE !!

      41. Remember,self-defense is a God given right, not a government given right……

      42. Lone Ranger;
Sometimes you have good tips….but now you are suggesting a police
state everywhere. I can’t buy into that. That reminds me of Israel where
weapons are around every corner….every citizen is a guard.

What happened to the 1950’s mindset?
        Our culture has changed.

Changed by Liberal ideology, NWO, Communism, and entertainment.
Use and sale of all kinds of drugs, alcohol, sex (casual, multiple),
profanity, disrespect everyone, hate, racism, killing everyone,
cheating, broken families, male bashing, women libers, unwed-pregnancies,
abortions, “shacking up”, (instead of marriage), multiple divorces,
all PROMOTED in music, entertainment, movies and television.

Most of these “problems” rarely existed in polite society before the 1950’s.
        (except….maybe, in the ghetto’s.)

      43. Agreed. Time to restore the original intent and meaning of the 2nd Amendment.

      44. It’s anti-racism being promoted in movies and television.

        And that is evil.

MAWA- Make America White Again. Appropriate racism. . .
