Fukushima, no doubt, remains a significant factors, but there are likely others. Feeding the global population, and having access to clean, healthy food is becoming a problem. A dying ocean, or one depleted of fish populations necessary for the food chain is troublesome indeed.
All Of A Sudden, Fish Are Dying By The MILLIONS All Over The Planet

Why are millions upon millions of dead sea creatures suddenly washing up on beaches all over the world? It is certainly not unusual for fish and other inhabitants of our oceans to die. This happens all the time. But over the past month we have seen a series of extremely alarming mass death incidents all over the planet. As you will see below, many of these mass death incidents have involved more than 30 tons of fish. In places such as Chile and Vietnam, it has already gotten to the level where it has started to become a major national crisis. People see their coastlines absolutely buried in dead sea creatures, and they are starting to freak out.
For example, just check out what is going on in Chile right now. The following comes from a Smithsonian Magazine article entitled “Why Are Chilean Beaches Covered With Dead Animals?“…
Compared to other countries, Chile is almost all coast, and that geographical fluke means that the country is known for its beautiful beaches. But that reputation may be on the wane thanks to a new sight on Chilean shores: dead animals. Lots of them. Heaps of them, in fact. As Giovanna Fleitas reports for the Agence France-Presse, the South American country’s beaches are covered with piles of dead sea creatures—and scientists are trying to figure out why.
Tales of dead animals washing up on shore are relatively common; after all, the ocean has a weird way of depositing its dead on shore. But Chile’s problem is getting slightly out of hand. As Fleitas writes, recent months have not been kind to the Chilean coast, which has played host to washed-up carcasses of over 300 whales, 8,000 tons of sardines, and nearly 12 percent of the country’s annual salmon catch, to name a few.
Authorities in Chile are scrambling to come up with a reason for why this is happening, but nobody appears to be quite sure what is causing this tsunami of death.
In Vietnam, things are even worse. At this point, so many dead fish and clams have been washing up along the coast that soldiers have been deployed to bury them…
Millions of fish have washed up dead along a 125-kilometre stretch of the Vietnamese coast in one of the communist country’s worst environmental disasters.
Soldiers have been deployed to bury tonnes of fish, clams and the occasional whale that began dying in early April along the north-central coast, including some popular tourist beaches.
Vietnamese officials facing growing anger over the disaster have not announced the official cause of the deaths, which have affected the livelihoods of tens of thousands of families.
Elsewhere in Asia, there have been similar incidents. For example, CNN is reporting that one lake in southern China is currently dealing with 35 tons of dead fish…
At least 35 tons of dead fish appeared in a lake in southern China, leaving residents stunned.
The piles of fish washed up in a lake in Hainan province on Wednesday, Chinese state media reported.
Residents expressed concerns on pollution, but local authorities said the fish died as a result of salinity change.
On the other side of the world, similar incidents have also happened in major lakes. Here is one example from Bolivia…
Thousands of dead fish have washed up onto the shores of a lake in Bolivia.
Just before they died, some of the fish had just hatched from their eggs in lake Alalay, in the central Bolivian city of Cochabamba.
No one yet knows the number of dead fish, but they have stockpiled five cubic metres (177 cubic feet) so far, so it’s possible there is over a tonne of dead fish in the lake.
And here is an example from Brazil…
More than 200 tons of dead fish were removed from the Furnas Lake on Sunday (1st) in Alfenas (MG). According to the Military Police of the Environment, both fish raised in ponds, networks and those who are released, all of the tilapia species in the lake were affected. The damage to the psicultores is estimated at around R $ 900 thousand.
I could go on and on all day with examples such as these.
Just within the last month, 40 tons of fish died in India, 65 tons of fish died in Cambodia, 70 tons of fish died in Colombia, and millions of fish “suddenly died” in Indonesia.
So why is this happening?
I don’t know.
Could it be possible that these mass deaths are somehow related to the alarming earth changes that we see happening all around us?
Without a doubt, we have seen a dramatic rise in seismic activity during the early portions of 2016. There has been a series of very destructive earthquakes around the world in recent months, and once dormant volcanoes are coming to life all over the globe with distressing regularity.
Of course humanity has done much to destroy the planet as well, and we continue to deal with the aftermath of the Fukushima nuclear disaster. I do think that it is very interesting to note that most of these mass fish deaths have happened in nations that border the Pacific Ocean.
I am certainly not claiming to have an answer for why so many fish are dying. All I know is that millions upon millions of dead fish are washing up on shores all over the globe, and people are really starting to freak out about this.
We live in a world that is becoming increasingly unstable, and major disasters seem to be getting more frequent and more intense. Just look at what is happening up in Alberta right now.
I believe that we are entering the “perfect storm” that myself and so many others have been warning about for so long.
Or could it be possible that I am just being overly dramatic?

The only thing I see is cosmic origin but that is only my opinion. I have nothing to prove it.
Reading this I had to come to one off the wall theory. All of the locations mentioned are located in the Pacific ring of fire or close to it. I remember reading recently that the San Andreas fault has an unusual amount of tension in it right now as if readying itself for a major seismic event. Perhaps seismic activity is causing the release of gases from the Earth’s crust like methane or sulfur as it usually does leading up to a major event. If I am right, then Fukushima Daichi and the Great Tohaku Earthquake may only be the beginning of our troubles.
WS, years ago had discussion with BI about this. Think of the tetonic plates as an orange peel detached from the fruit in plates. If one plate moves here, another plate on the other side would move in time.
Then planetary alignments influinces helps in the matter also.
Seems the all sun spots and CME blow offs effect the Earth more than we can imagine.
But this is a new science, but it all seems interconnected.

You are correct. Methane is among the first of gasses to be released prior to volcanic events as it is one of the lighter gasses being formed “deep” down, but the first to rise out followed by water vapor then the really hot stuff, magma.
Yes. Ever wondered why govts did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to stop the pollution of our oceans from Fukishima, Deepwater Horizon, Exxon Valdez, just search “oil spills” there are dozens of them in the last few years alone. In every case, govts took no action for weeks or even months to stop the leaking into our waterways…Fukishima IS STILL NOT FULLY CONTAINED and still leaks radioactive waste into the ocean to this very day!

Well said. The whole tree hugger analogy is pure bullshit IMO. I ‘m not a tree hugger but i’m sure as hell not going to dump 200 gallons of used motor oil in my backyard. That’s EXACTLY what we have been doing to this planet in a figurative way.

My adopted 3rd mom’s parents owned a motel on a mountain in NC. She inherted the mtn, and years later she had a call from the Rangers. Seems tree poachers were sneaking in to cut old growth hickory trees, set a flare, a helicopter would fly in and hook up a tree. The rangers thought it was odd to see full grown trees flying out of her property. At 10k apeice. For veneer mostly.

I hug my trees and when I remediated arsenic out of my 14 acres of former cotton field and got little green frogs in my pond I cried because they are better than a test. Better tree hugger me than corporate farmers who remediated their arsenic-laced former cotton fields by planting rice (a known arsenic accumulator) and selling it to non tree huggers like yourself. Golly gee darn, guess it was good that they do not care about you or babies whose first solid food is always… rice. Now they got caught and saying… but the soil is cleaner now! Sure, they remediated that arsenic right into your mouth. It accumulates in your body, too.

Since the Pacific Ocean is home to The Ring of Fire, and WE KNOW that there are hundreds of NEWLY FORMED ‘vents’ on the sea floor off California’s coast as well as pretty much all over the floor of The Pacific …and given that most every Volcanic area is becoming ‘hotter’, then it makes sense that the VERY cold water (down deep but not THAT deep, where the fish tend to hang out), has risen high enough to cause what oxygen is dissolved to just dissipate? Meaning the fish simply ran out of 02 and died. (Temperature could surely be the culprit, and you KNOW Mass Media is NOT going to give us ‘useless eaters’ the truth on anything …or you should by now.
Outside of radiation, which is not yet at an alarming level, but has killed every last reef off Japan’s shores (all of those beautiful reefs are just ‘ghost white’ dead calcium ‘bone-yards’ now …and spreading our way faster than can be determined, or advertised upon.
The most sobering fact of this, if ALL true, is that Earth will cease to exist, in all facets, without her oceans “healthy” …if the oceans continue to die, land dwellers will simply reap the aftermaths of events coming from The Seven Seas, (not to mention how many lakes, and why lakes? wtf IS going on and why don’t we get some private companies on it, as opposed to believing government studies? Perhaps the contrails have taken an unexpected toll? It’s not like we have fish running up on shore as if they are confused. We now have dead creatures by the thousands, meaning millions that you can’t see at depths we’ve never been to. If this has also killed the lobsters, crabs and other bottom feeders then the oceans will steadily toxify THEN (eventually) turn our FRESH WATER into “unfit for human consumption.” There goes the 90% of the earth’s population given you can’t get much past Day III without H2O …unless you are lost in a coma at the end of drying down and out.

Interesting theory. Henrys Law of solubility of gasses in a liquid if I remember correctly it took a very little temperature rise to double the release of gasses from a liquid. The one thing working against it is pressure. Look at the ultimate gas law for that. At a few thousand feet deep those gasses occupy very little space and hence have high density.
Regardless something is up.
Aye eppe, and at a few thousand feet the water could STILL be a tad warmer (heat DOES rise?), and that would be enough, it looks like, to suffocate the fish “by the schools” (and they are washing up in FULL schools of every breed out there.

Revelation definitely mentions in several places about the creatures of the seas dying, also in some of the other Old Testament prophets.
Equorial – I assume that by “contrails” you mean chemtrails? Aluminum is, among other things, a neurotoxin, and nano-aluminum can get into almost anyplace, any system; it even passes the blood-brain barrier (there’s a correct term that escapes me at the moment). Chemtrails the last time I read an analysis are 76% nano-aluminum, or most were. That’s a LOT of damned poison in the atmosphere, and it gets into everything else! Remember too that a great deal of radioactive waste was dumped into the deep (abyssal) oceans for a long time. They were in barrels of mixed concrete and the waste as I recall; not intended to last, apparently. How much have those leaked? I’ve no idea, but countries all over the planet have used the oceans as a dumping ground for all sorts of garbage for a long time. Going into some South American ports you can tell how far you are from shore by the density of the human turds and other waste floating by… Not that North America is entirely innocent regarding careless dumping either, not by a long shot. Also, apparently Nuclear power plants are also VERY vulnerable to collapse of their “safety systems”, and when they go, they spread radioactive poison far and wide. It HAS to be a design feature and no accident.
The “elites” seem to have been driving much of the rape of Nature on land AND sea for some time, and of course the Corporations went along, and We the People rarely if ever heard about it. Now its all coming home to roost, however, and the oceans are the foundation of Life on this planet. Between them and the plant world, that’s most of what keeps oxygen breathing life going and vice versa. It seems that almost all packaging for items sold in all kinds of stores, things being shipped any distance and so on is composed of plastic, which as it breaks down is often toxic, and much of THAT ends up in landfills or the oceans. Both have a finite capacity. There was a time when most garbage was organic; that time is long gone, and industrial wastes, often carelessly dumped, especially in Third World countries where there’s little enforcement of what regulations there are, tend to create toxic areas on land OR adds to the poisons in the seas and lakes. Humanity has GOT to change this! And that’s just one single aspect of what we’ve been doing to the planet. The Earth is finite, after all.
Anyway, clearly this economic system, the industrial system and almost all other systems initiated by the Corporations that drive Western civilization were designed to self-destruct, and that is now happening. In fact it appears that all the systems we depend on are being deliberately over-driven to destruction, and we’re going over the cliff with them! For the sake of profits “medicines” have been designed to keep us sick and returning for “treatment” that seldom cures, and then more by accident than design. Nothing is made to last – it’s all throw-away – into an already over-stressed environment. Technological civilization was clearly designed to self-destruct and to take most of the environment with it, and we are now just along for the ride.
About those pharmaceuticals – I beat high blood pressure meds a few years ago. Just went in to the doc and she was shocked that my BP was still inexplicably normal.
So what does she do?? Tries to talk me into taking statin drugs for alleged “high cholesterol.”
When THAT didn’t work, she tried to claim I’m “pre-diabetic.” That means you’re NOT diabetic, but they have some drugs for you to swallow anyway, just in case…
I gave her explicit directions for taking an aerially acrobatic step off a cliff, and I wasn’t very polite about it.
Point is – prove you don’t need one drug any more, they’ll push something else at you to replace it. The whole point of obamacare is to keep you addicted to, and/or dependent on DRUGS of one type or another.

The Fukushima disaster was quite convenient for all those Californian factory farms with their gmo fungus and pesticides sterilizing the soil and killing healthy bacteria in their neck of the woods, not to mention all those pretty non-native plants people shoved into the ground to beautify their yards and golf courses (that were actually invasive) and all the animal farms and their feces pools filled with nasty partially digested antibiotics and fungucides to counter them in a disgusting circle of death. All of those crazy Californian pollutants including those used to seed clouds so that a desert that chugs down rivers and waters from states away for unsustainable nut crops and inefficient farming practices can help stem the panic. It’s easy to blame Fukushima though there are literally toxic dumps and waste pools around these farms that leak and spew, and you hear every day another recall due to poisonous food full of e-coli and other fun illness-causing contaminants and more farmers getting cancer. You hear of companies moving the bar higher to squeeze more out of these farmers, and water waste, water war, and water fraud. I’m not blaming it all on Japan, though they certainly should have done something about their font of nuclear waste, overfishing, and refusal to accept help. Look at all the nuclear plants around you and ask yourself if there are enough decent folks to make sure we don’t have a melt down if the SHTF. Come on, they let things leak like crazy and wring their hands while oil poisons the gulf and natural gas blows out like a geyser for months. Accountability? Naw it’s just the cost of doing business. And remember, it’s not “IF” but when it happens on our soil. Well water in Florida is just casualty currently contaminated by nuclear reactors that are leaking uncontrollably. Washington state has some workers who are getting ulcerations. Alabama and other states have dealt with recent eaks. Terrorism is looking toward reactors so they can try to do something ignorant and catastrophic. But most people have no idea and would rather fight over bathroom laws right now.
KRM, THANK YOU for bringing up the ‘phant in the living room, long term effects of agricultural runoff and the possible effects it would be having on those in the industry and living near (eg, farmers). That is real actionable evidence of ecosystem damage.
Let me suggest however that the ‘nuclear/radiation’ aspect of this Everything’s Dying! end-times hysteria is completely overblown, due more to the cheap emotional tactic of declaring anything nuclear to be deadly rather than any factual demonstrated risk.
Salvo (Snyder to a lesser extent) and other bloggers have jumped to attribute the ‘plume’ from Fukushima, which are mostly computer projections of ocean currents not some actual ‘thing’ that is being tracked… to every animal mass death, even those clearly attributable to disease and chemical runoff and algae bloom from metropolitan sewage discharge. Of course the parties actually responsible for these will not lift a finger to allay these nuclear ‘fears’. They’re grateful for the diversion.

The salty water ‘threatening’ drinking water is not from the plant, it is from upwellings because Florida is one big sand bar. The ammonia and phosphorus are not from the nuclear plant either, in fact they are ‘nutrients’ which says agricultural or even natural sources. And yes they are real threats but they arise from faulty engineering that has nothing to do with nuclear power. If these same channels had been constructed, in the same way, to supply a water treatment plant instead of a nuclear plant, the same thing would be happening… would there be the same concern?
The ‘radioactive tritium’ that seems to be the crux of the hysterical reaction, leading unscrupulous writers to IMPLY that the threats (salt, phosphorus, ammonia) are nuclear (false!) is really not a problem. Tritium is short lived and the levels are so extremely low (yet detectable because our technology is excellent) there is NO public health issue at all. In fact, tritium is used as a ‘marker’ to trace water contamination back to its source when no other method would work.

Some of the die-offs are in the ocean , while others in freshwater lakes . So they probably are unrelated.

El Niño is running which is a natural cyclic, freaking huge warm ocean current, the warm water promotes toxic red algie blooms.
I’ve seen several separate articles recently talking about red tides (red algie blooms). I’m saddened when I see articles like this that fail to make the connection and just leave it up in the air without a scientific discussion.
I have also read those articles on algae bloom , thats why i say i just dont know , not my wheelhouse.

Sea water in general has oxygen as 34% of the dissolved gases. I know that our air is about 21% oxygen. Differential pressures at the cellular level is critical for cells to work right. I know that if that percentage drops too much, so do you. That is why algae blooms kill.
I wonder why no one considers that an unusual sea mammal die off, of a localized population, isn’t considered to be due to disease. Environmental nuts want to blame American submarines, Japanese radiation, or generally whatever, it has to be man’s fault, after all until white man showed up nothing on the Earth never died. Everything was at peace and harmony with nature.
No species ever went extinct, no forests ever burned, no volcanoes ever destroyed anything, no desertification occurred,

I ruled out disease because it is affecting both fish AND mammals AND crustaceans, reefs …far more than we are being told of. The island where Jurassic Park was filmed (which is about 400 klics off the West Coast of Costa Rica, once had a beautiful and rich “colony of reefs, reaching far out in all directions. Now, all of them are ghostly white and quite dead. Since nobody is allowed on the island, nobody has a clue when the reefs started dying or what may have caused it. (Reefs there DO “come and go”, but not ‘gone’ to this degree). Perhaps it is La Nina related…

Hello again! I’m asking YOU this because the ones who make these statements don’t seem to get it, and maybe you can add something I’m missing in trying to communicate this. It’s NOT being done in pursuit of gold. “The destruction of our planet is happening because of GREED”, says Anonymous. Bullfeathers! It’s a planned destruction of the ecosystems/biosphere that feeds us, provides water and air, etc. “The boys” as you call them feel they have their D.U.M.B.s downstairs and ready to go, so they’re set for the duration of their own lives, and screw everyone else. I wonder if they’re aware that we’ve never yet quite gotten an artificial environment perfect enough to last very long without turning toxic..?

Its so toxic that when people who live near fracking sites turn on their spiggots and water comes out, they can actually set the water on fire when they strike a match to their water!!

There was a massive spate of significant earthquakes. There is an enormous fire raging in Canada. Huge amounts of fish are dying.
I strongly believe that those who lived so long ago did have visions of the future. I think people forget scale and perspective when reading ancient texts. A person back in the day may have lived their entire life without leaving their home village. At most they might travel to town. Compare that to a mental image of a 40 square mile fire that is still growing. Compare a fisherman with his net to the sight of hundreds of -tons- of dead fish. I do not think the world will end, but I definitely think they saw something.
Another possibility is that this has all happened before, perhaps more than once. There are legends that perhaps were once histories of humans who ceased to follow the commandments of God or gods (or Health Department experts) on how to live, and ended up dying in, essentially, a poisoned world. Legends or visions of times-yet-to-be, whichever it is, here we damned well go again!

Hello all I hope everyone is doing well. As western Canada burns up I do not complain about the rain we have got lately. With regards to the mass die off I believe this to be biblical prophecy coming to pass. We can blame methane, radiation or whatever toxins we can think of. All of that doesn’t matter. God will use whatever he chooses or not choose to use. Sorry that I may called a fanatic but I have been called worse. Just make certain you are prepared for the worse in all aspects of your life including the spiritual part. Keep your head on a swivel and your powder dry. Keep ignoring me folks..I do not lie to anyone on this website and have never lied about anything that even happened to me or others, and this is the truth.. So rh die offs will drop oxygen levels on the planet and make some areas of the Shoreline non breathable, causing mass doe off of the human population.. and this will leave only 3,000,000 men and barely 5,000 surviving women spread thin over the continental United States.ans for preppers in the know, it’s time to get you energy and solar panels ready and link up to the underground Internet. I do believe you are correct. Trump hasn’t a ‘snowball’s chance in hell of doing much of anything to turn much of anything around …not at this point. In fact, those who stand against him will pummel him throughout his first four years to prevent ANYTHING from getting done (then expect us all to go back to DemoRatting again …assuming they don’t kill him before he’s elected, or perhaps, as some have said, Trump is a “bait and switch” courtesy of Hillary’s money and your soul.
In terms of fish. We eat salmon about once a week. Never felt any ill effects. About two weeks ago we had salmon and I was itchy and sick for two days. Doesn’t put me off fish, but there was something wrong with that batch.
I don’t believe this kill off is due to anything other than the stuff being sprayed over us on a daily basis. This aluminum based particulate is killing links in the food chain. Or making animals more susceptible to infection or parasites. Oh, by the way, us too probably.
Then we are saying that the government is ‘seeding the air’ with combinations of nano-aluminum, benzene, and other as yet unidentified ‘particulates’ …all of a poisonous or detrimental to life ‘nature’.
You mean to say the government does not mind spraying themselves with the very same? They breathe the same air, ingest the same foods from the same sources (worldwide waaaaay more often than the average american). That’s a bit ‘out on the limb isn’t it’?
And, I have YET to find a REAL “air report” that “beyond any shadow of a doubt” states that the air particulates are impregnated with ‘aluminum dust’ OR benzene. All I find is that DDT and other such nasties “once used” are STILL in the environment from 30 years ago, and thus IN the food supply in varying amounts. NO aluminum. NO benzene. Just “pollutant-particulates” from what few factories we have remaining.
Besides, “What does it matter”?

I find it very interesting that Fukushima is not being blamed for this. That accident has spread radiation across the planet and everyone is acting surprised about why the oceans fish are all dying. Just because we were not told about the real extent of the danger does not mean that it was not the culprit. Remember radiation does not just go away it will continue to kill and destroy this planet for decades.
Fukushima is not being blamed for all of this because to do so would be factually incorrect.
