Editor’s Comment: It is somewhat surprising that Newt Gingrich, who himself belongs to Bohemian Grove, would discuss secret societies openly on Fox News, but the fact remains that the insiders and the establishment are indeed opposed to any candidate who isn’t “initiated,” “tapped” or otherwise vetted and pledged to their hidden agenda – and above appealing to the interests of average Americans.
The Bushes and Clintons have epitomized membership in these elite secret societies – with Bohemian Grove, Skull and Bones, Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and other insider groups backing their rise to political power, and placing ranking members inside the cabinets and administrations of such presidents.

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich told Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly last night that the establishment is scared of Donald Trump because he “didn’t belong to a secret society” and wasn’t involved in any of the rituals associated with such groups.
Discussing Mitt Romney’s anti-Trump speech yesterday, Gingrich said it represented “the panic of the establishment wing of the (Republican) Party,” and that the prospect of Trump becoming the nominee “absolutely drives them crazy”.
When asked why, Gingrich responded, “Well because he’s an outsider, he’s not them, he’s not part of the club, he’s uncontrollable, he hasn’t been through the initiation rites, he didn’t belong to the secret society.”
Gingrich is in a perfect position to know about “secret societies” given his affiliation with Bohemian Grove, an annual encampment that takes place every year in Monte Rio, California and is attended by some of the most powerful people in the world.
Gingrich’s photograph is featured in the Annals of the Bohemian Club, Volume 7, 1987-1996 alongside George W. Bush and his father.
The former Speaker of the House could also be referring to Skull and Bones, a secret society at Yale which counts amongst its members both George W. and John Kerry, who ran against each other in the 2004 presidential election.
Skull and Bones is notorious for its initiation rituals, which according to some include masturbating in a coffin. In 2001, journalist Ron Rosenbaum became the first outsider to witness some of the rituals. Video footage of the ceremony shows ‘Bonesmen’ screaming while they kiss a skull and perform a mock murder.

In my cognitive dissonance I can support both your assertion and the one of the article. Maybe it’s because both are true. I don’t think Newt intended to go where he went, but there may well be some grain of truth to it in that those inside the halls of power have all gone to the same schools and joined the same organizations and they do not want someone who is not one of them to rise to power. Liberty is hard, especially when you have to allow others to do things you don’t agree with. Christians, are especially obnoxious when it comes to telling people how to live while proclaiming ‘Liberty for all’. Most conservatives, I have found, have a few chinks, and are hypocrites. One Christian ‘conservative’ friend of mine, whines on and on about marijuana and abortion, while drinking his beer. When I point out that this is incompatible with the founders philosophy of liberty, he goes berserk and asks me who’s side I’m on. I tell him, I’m on the side of Liberty, with a capital L, especially for those things I don’t like personally, ‘live and let live’. This sends him over the moon. I simply tell him he’s a hypocrite, like most conservatives.
This is not a battle between ideologies, but a battle for CONTROL.
