A man’s sister told him a group of boaters witnessed an aerial explosion offshore around 8:00 a.m. last Saturday morning

SOUTH PACIFIC (INTELLIHUB) — A man posted a video to YouTube on Sunday in which he claims his sister, who lives on Maui, heard that a group of 9 tour boat guides and about 13 tourists witnessed some type of explosion in the sky about 100 NM offshore (leeward side.)

“They said it looked like a meteor and then all of a sudden it was a big boom and it lit up the entire sky,” he explained. “It was at eight o’clock in the morning.”

“Maybe this wasn’t a drill after all,” he said. “I would think that the United States would not want to cause more panic if they did launch something at Hawaii — they would say it was a mistake.”

The man also maintains that the story was posted by a local news outlet for a short period of time before it was “pulled” altogether.

    Youtuber Ashley LP chimed in:

So I live on Island and our family has a lighthouse, we all saw a bright flash that morning as well. There is much buzz about this… Thank you for actually putting what islanders are all talking about.

The video was posted one day after a false missile alert caused a panic throughout the islands.

      1. A man’s sister told him

isn’t this the very definition of hearsay?

5 words into the article and I already know it is bullshit.

        • Well ok yeah but CNN is saying if the government shuts down we’re not going to have any protection from asteroids….SOoooo

          • {sarc}

            • The Vulcan Death Ray asteroid deflector (designed, built and staffed by transexual progressives) won’t be used?

        • JS, part of me wants to call BS on this article unless some video is presented. But another part of me says this could have been an attempted false-flag that went wrong. If so then let’s be glad it went wrong.

          • I agree. I posted a comment on a JJ article but I’m blocked there. Me thinks this was a botched false flag that lil Kim was gonna get blamed for and that he would’ve been neutralized within hours. The whole narrative, like the LV lone gunman theory just stinks and makes no sense. The way this article is written does it no justice but I think it has merit

          • Stranger things have happened…are happening….and will happen.

        • maybe you should listen more closely he said”My sister” can’t you read?

        • a mans sister told him she heard from someon else someone said something.

          so yeah

        • You can further guess that it’s bullshit, by asking one question…”How in the hell did a CHARTER get 100 miles off shore by 8:00 am?”

          • LOL, you obviously don’t live near the ocean. Depending what they wanted to do, fishing boats go out a dawn or pre dawn same for any charter boat depending on where they want to be and when.

        • And it could very well have been a meteor, there is no evidence that something was ‘shot out of the sky’ that is a deduction not an observation.

      2. Sounds like a couple of 5 year olds talking…’my friends uncle said’. BS indeed, but why is this garbage reporting even posted?

        • It was Hillary on her broom breaking the sound barrier. Sheesh you guys need to get a life…..

      3. Show the video. Or shut up – you got your attention quotient for the day. Maybe this will get you a free drink @ the bar; but, that’s about it.

      4. The story is in total error;more phony news! The boat was a tour boat hired to tour the harbor. It was the S.S. Minnow. On board was an overweight skipper, a skinny first mate, a movie star, a Wall Street tycoon & his wife, a college professor, and a girl from Kansas. The boat is believed to have been sunk in a storm. No more fake news!

        • Brian, LOL! I know which TV show you’re talking about. I grew up with “Gilligan’s Island” as a kid.

          • There was even an episode I recall when a nuclear tipped missile nosecone landed on Gilligan’s Island and failed to detonate. It had them all worried. Odd no one from the DOD came looking for it.

        • Being a Kansan-raised man, don’t you dare disparage Mary Ann!!! Them’s’d be fighting words for sure. Us Jayhawks will die defending that lady’s honor.

          • Yeah, Ginger is the one you take to the low rent motel; but Mary Ann is the one you marry.

        • It was later determined that the skippers intentions were to go out on a 3 hour tour!

      5. Sshould have gotten more info before this so called story was posted.

      6. Interesting but dude looks horribly constipated or something. Here’s some advice to him if he wants to present second-hand information on You-Tube in the future and appear any kind of credible: don’t stick your finger in your nose (0.55), stop rubbing your forehead and scratching yourself, and lose the painful expression and voice like the big one is halfway out and you need to be somewhere else. Take care of business man before you switch on the camera.

        • I needed that laugh. You win comment of the week.

      7. So two days after this false alert I get a call from a old 1973 contact. Asked what my take on this whole thing was. Said it was stupid is as stupid does. He told me to stay away from the Island’s and the west coast no matter what. He heard a rumor that a rouge sub crew launched and was taken out by their own navy. When they started to wind up the bird their navy knew and alerted us and took them out. My take was nobody saw a intercept or a big boom so that could not have happened. Now we have folks saying they witness a flash and a boom. Remember a whole airliner disappeared in this area a few years back.

      8. That’s nothing, my housekeeper’s cousin’s dog walker knows a guy that heard from his sister’s boyfriend that………

      9. Hmmm, cell phone camera’s are everywhere and NO ONE got a pic/video on that boat? How bout that local news report? NO other witness’s on the beach, etc?? BS…..

      10. At 8:00 am in the morning lots of people would be outside driving to work. If there was actually an incoming bomb exploding in the sky there would be thousands of witnesses, not somebodies sister says 22 people saw it.

        _

      11. OK, I told you so. There was a report of a SLBM being fired by a Chinese sub. You don’t keep an alert like this active unless there is a reason.

The best possible answer is always the easiest, No? You should always remain skeptical, but those who deride are stupid, in my very humble opinion. Or maybe just disinformation agents?

      12. I don’t know guys. In a way I almost would be willing to believe it. So there was in fact a real “device” launched from NK and heading for HI. Naturally the Gov’t would never tell us the real story and the actual truth, so they made up all the garbage about a “mistake message”, etc, etc. The timing was off and the Gov’t couldn’t use it for their narrative, so they shot the thing down, played stupid and made up fairy tales…I don’t know guys but that sounds about right on the money! Think about it…

        • I wonder too. I wouldn’t dismiss it right away, and especially since today on the news i heard a few seconds of a clip saying that the guy who pushed the button by mistake, well, he REFUSES to talk!! So what’s up with that? If he made an honest mistake why wouldn’t he talk? Or did someone tell him to shut up or else?

      13. CC, your scenario sounds plausible but a neocon-directed false-flag attempt is also plausible. We’ll never get the truth. Since no one is offering any video of the incident, etc. I would tend to call BS on it.

      14. It was in the news but not in US MSM that a missile by the deep state two were fired in fact one fired at Hawaii and one at Japan to provoke WWIII to ruin the US economy and blame it on NK and say it was Trumps fault. Both got shot out of the sky. The article above is NOT BS as it takes 5 systems to go through before an emergency alert is activated. It is not some button they push. It goes through many people to activate it including the military.

        • Sam, I tend to agree with you. Thanks for the post.

          • Wow, I never knew that. Now it all makes sense and especially why the “guy” who pushed the “button” won’t talk. They prob threatened him to keep quiet.

      15. Well, as everyone is commenting, how BS this article and video is (and they all sound like plausible comments, except the “hilarious” ones. Those were funny!), I like to archive articles, like this, and wait. Could come in handy, for a number of reasons, I won’t get into here. But like, any type of evidence, no matter how small, or how stupid, a BIG story could come, with more articles like it, and putting everything together.
Think I should get a job as an investigator?? Hmm, I’m thinking I could be good at that…

      16. Wow! A meteorite. Report to the AMS!

      17. See ‘Huge Media Blackout Regarding Supermoons’

      18. Why do you think the guy that “flipped the switch” in error (a 5-step process by the way – confirmed) is now not cooperating with the FTC on the investigation of the incident. 82.221.129.208 for insightful, and usually always correct, and way ahead of all the others, news.
