Warning: If you care about parental rights, this story will infuriate you.
On February 25, a pregnant mother took her 2-year-old son to the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine clinic in Tempe, Arizona because he had a fever of over 100. The doctor instructed the mother to take him to the emergency room because he is unvaccinated and she feared he could have meningitis.
The doctor called the emergency room at Banner Cardon Children’s Medical Center in Mesa to let them know the boy would be arriving.
But after leaving the doctor’s office, the boy showed signs of improvement. He was laughing and playing with his siblings, and his temperature moved closer to normal. Around 6:30 pm, the mother called the doctor to let her know the toddler no longer had a fever and she would not be taking him to the emergency room.
In Arizona, parents may decline vaccinations for their child based on personal, religious, or medical exemptions, but the mother was still concerned that the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) would come after her. One can’t blame her for being afraid, as unvaccinated families have been targets of dystopian crackdowns and witch hunts of late.
The doctor assured her DCS would not come after her. According to police records, the mother then agreed to take her son to the hospital.
This is when things took a particularly nasty turn, reports AZCentral:
About three hours later, the hospital contacted the doctor to advise her that the child had not shown up and the mother wasn’t answering her phone, according to police records. The doctor contacted DCS.
A DCS caseworker called Chandler Police and “requested officers to check the welfare of a two year old infant,” according to police records. A caseworker said he was on his way to the house.
It was about 10:30 p.m. when two police officers knocked on the family’s door. The officers heard someone coughing.
Officer Tyler Cascio wrote in a police report that he knocked on the door several times but no one answered. (source)
The police then asked a neighbor to call the mother to let her know they wanted to speak to her. Meanwhile, the boy’s father contacted the police:
Police dispatch told the officers that a man at the home had called requesting that they call him. They called, and the man identified himself as the sick boy’s father.
The officer said they told the father they needed to enter the home for DCS to check on the child. The father refused, explaining that his son’s “fever broke and he was fine,” according to police records. (source)
Then things escalated.
Despite the father’s attempt to assure police his child was fine, things escalated.
The caseworker informed officers that DCS planned to obtain a “temporary custody notice” from a judge to remove the child for emergency medical aid.
Officers then consulted with the police criminal investigations bureau and SWAT.
Yes, SWAT.
I know – it is outrageous and terrifying.
After 1:00 AM, officers kicked down the family’s door.
One officer carried a shield, while another was described as having “lethal coverage.” Officers pointing guns yelled, “Chandler Police Department,” and entered the house.
The father came to the door. Officers placed him in handcuffs and took him and the mother outside. (source)
Neither of the parents was arrested.
Officials took all three children to Banner Cardon Medical Center.
Let’s pause here for a moment to reflect on something: Authorities took the children under the guise of caring about their well-being. The fact that armed strangers snatching children away from their parents and siblings in the middle of the night could be, I don’t know – TRAUMATIC – didn’t seem to cross their minds.
Unbelievable.
Then the “legal process” took 10 days.
The parents had to wait 10 days to see a judge and begin fighting to get their children back.
Attorneys for the parents said the children hadn’t seen each other since being taken from their parents’ home. The parents had only had one visit with their older children. DCS officials told the parents the toddler couldn’t make that visit because he was at a medical appointment.
The state’s attorney argued that the children shouldn’t be returned to their parents yet because they’d been hostile to DCS workers and weren’t cooperating. He said the parents had attended a DCS visit with members of Arizona DCS Oversight Group who were combative toward DCS workers. He said the grandfather had tried to videotape a meeting with DCS, and recording is not allowed to protect the privacy of the children. (source)
DCS wanted the parents to undergo psychological evaluations, the father was required to undergo drug testing, and the grandparents agreed to background checks so they could become temporary caregivers for the children.
While everything about this case is horrifying, there is a bit of good news.
The family has a powerful ally:
Rep. Kelly Townsend, R-Mesa, who helped craft legislation requiring DCS to obtain a warrant before removing a child from their parents or guardians in non-emergency circumstances, said she was outraged by the response of police and DCS officials in the case.
“It was not the intent (of the law) that the level of force after obtaining a warrant was to bring in a SWAT team,” Townsend said. “The imagery is horrifying. What has our country become that we can tear down the doorway of a family who has a child with a high fever that disagrees with their doctor?” (source)
In Arizona, DCS used to be able to remove children from their homes without warrants, but that changed last July when lawmakers designated limited circumstances for removing a child from their parent without a warrant:
DCS must have probable cause to believe a child is at imminent risk of harm and there’s no less-intrusive alternative to removal, or DCS must have probable cause to believe a child is a victim of sexual or physical abuse that can only be evaluated by trained medical personnel…
…Concern over DCS abusing loopholes in the system prompted a second round of legislation in 2018. The restrictions designated “exigent circumstances” when DCS may remove children without a warrant. Removing the child must be so dire that there’s no time to use the electronic system to gain authorization from a judge who’s on call 24/7. (source)
Townsend wants a review of this legislation.
Townsend wants lawmakers to review the procedures that led to police using force, traumatizing a family, and putting three children in state custody.
She said that the fact that DCS obtained a court-approved warrant proves there wasn’t a life-threatening emergency.
Outside the courthouse, Townsend said she didn’t know the parents personally but was disturbed by the case.
“It was brought to my attention that these parents may have been targeted by the medical community because they hadn’t vaccinated their children,” she said.
Townsend said parents who don’t vaccinate their children because of medical concerns aren’t criminals and shouldn’t be treated as such. She worried physicians were using it as a reason to refer parents to DCS.
“I think if DCS decides to use this as a factor they would be violating a parent’s right to have a personal exemption, a religious exemption and perhaps a medical exemption,” she said. (source)
The family wants to warn others about DCS.
The father sent The Republic a statement. His family is scared, he said, but they feel compelled to warn other families:
We have been through a very traumatic experience with our encounter with DCS. We would like other parents out there to know and realize the amount of power DCS has over the welfare of your children. Even though we remain confident in our innocence through our case, it is immediately an uphill struggle of what to do or not to do. Even if you do not agree with them or the process in which they follow.
We thought they did not have the right to check on our children because they were getting better, from what they last heard about from us. We were in our home tending to our sick kids and did not want to be bothered in this tough time of illness. With multiple children it is difficult to keep up their needs while they are ill, and to be bothered in the middle of the night by DCS was not something we were ready to tackle.
No matter what we though was right, it turned tragic with the removal of all of our children. The process of removal in our opinion was uncalled for and we would like to see the laws/process change when dealing with expedited removal of children.
Our children have sure been through a traumatizing experience and hope they have not been harmed psychologically or emotionally as we are a very happy family who love each other and would do anything for each other.
We hope to see a positive outcome for our trial, but worry about what the kids have been though. We would like to see some sort of public service announcement by DCS to inform other parents out there that this could happen to them, because nobody, especially children should have to go through what we are going through. We love our children and are doing everything possible to get them back to us. (source)
“What about parents’ rights to decide what’s best for their child?” Townsend said. “Parents felt the child was fine. Next thing we know, the Gestapo is at their door.”
The three children have been placed with their grandparents, and the parents are able to see them but have no idea when – or if – they will get them back.

I personally draw the line at my front door. Anyone coming across the threshhold without authorization enters through a lead curtain. No warning. Keep you eyes closed for the flashbangs, and aim for the door.
The crazy thing about this scene is that entering the home with a swat team endangers the very lives of the kids that they claim to save. What it really is men in black like to kick a## and don’t need much of an excuse. I mean, how dangerous is it to surprise an innocent family with your buddies and all that gear? All I know is that I’d’ve been a dead man had anyone smashed in my door @ 1 a.m. when I was raising my kids. I would’ve gone for my handgun that I’ve always… always… had nearby when in my home. One just behind the headboard back then.. that I could reach from my in-bed/laying down position. With any luck, I might’ve gotten a shot off. And believe me, past the noise of my door being smashed open, nothing more would’ve been heard and interpreted by me as anything less than a mortal threat to me and my family. Great points. One thing though, AEs with free floating handguards are more accurate, but when shtf and ‘living rough’ a gun gets banged around. If that’s what someone is prepping for, maybe a freefloat would be changed out for a regular one.
Also, without an electronic rangefinder, people can order an old-fashioned one, card and twine one from budk. I’d throw it in my bugout bag just in case.

In some European countries (Italy, for one) unvaccinated children under the age of 16, are not allowed to be enrolled in public schools. If the unvaccinated child is not being home schooled with proof of that, or in a private school, CPS removes the child from the home and places them with strangers in a foster home after getting them vaccinated.
Here in the formerly liberal state of Oregon, the law they’re trying to pass extends to private and even home schooling. You can’t homeschool without full Merck approved vaccination protocol. The Dr. considered the child to have a brain infection, known as meningitis. This could cause brain damage, maybe even death. Not everything is a conspiracy.
Going back to a thread the other day about CB’s. They are actually pretty crappy radios due to extreme static and “skip” and don’t penetrate anything well. AM radio has a lot of drawbacks and CB’s require a gigantic antenna for long range. I have a few of them as last resort and to monitor truckers but I find that using sideband is quite a bit better than standard frequency. If your in the woods or city with a lot of buildings, CB pretty much sucks.
HF in general isnt really well suited for close range comms unless under certain circumstances (NVIS). Its got its uses though. Static can be fixed (thats usually an antenna or interference issue) and all HF “skips”- its just how it propagates. Sideband cb is still cb (that is to say still the 11m freq range). all you are doing is changing the frequency by +/- a few kHz.
“CB” sucks because its fixed channels, half of which are overrun with overamped broadcasts by base station dipshits too lazy to get a tech license. Theres one black dude in my area that singlehandedly made ch 5/6/7 unusable (and frequently bleeds into 10m…). Hes running such a big amp he probably has brain tumors from the RF by now lol.
I still have my old Cobras boxed in their faraday cages, just in case. Otherwise I long since moved on to other things.

the Dr did not diagnose meningitis. he/she said with the high fever it “might” be “possible” and ADVISED the parents. the fever broke. the parents chose a different action based on this new info.
If the Dr was concerned, he should have accurately diagnosed before fobbing his problem off on someone else.
I have two children in their fourties… thankfully, (in a way) they have decided not to have children of their own. A lot of climate scientists have decided not to have kids as well, because they feel bad about bringing children into a world which they know is going to get extremely rough in the near future. (Not just hotter, globally, but I mean because so many species are going extinct)!!
Think of it this way: we can go inside the house and adjust the temperature and be ok. Plants and animals cannot!! And since we depend on other animals/plants for survival (to EAT!!!) THIS is going to cause a bit of a problem!! They most likely will NOT be able to evolve in time because this time the climate change (global warming of the planet) is happening too fast for other animals to evolve in time!!! When it happens slowly, species can adapt. But this time, its happening so fast, its very doubtful they will be able to adapt and basically, we are going to lose our food. so why bring kids into this kind of world? (chaos, confusion, no food, etc)

Why is it that vaccinated children get sick more often than unvaccinated children? My two are unvaccinated and in part-time daycare and they are sick a fraction of the amount that other children are. Back in the day, when we where kids, we surely did get Vaccinated and for good reason. But today, they continue to add more and more. And growing up, I never ever had more than a cold or flu for a day or two. As an adult, never getting a flu shot, I am the only one that I know that doesn’t get the flu for more than 24 hours. I simply watch where I go during flu season. Our kids are insanely healthy. Simple vitamins at the beginning of the school year and none of our kids where sick even once this entire year. And no flu shots ever.
A families kids are not a joke!! And that state has no right to handle a situation like this one in that manner and should be subject to Criminal Charges and arrest. In the event a child would die from lake of care is a different story. It can happen in a bad environment. And that is neglect even if not Criminal. If my parents took me to a doctor every time I had a little fever, they would have been broke or laughed at by the rest of the community!! Every Parent has the right to do what they feel is best for their child. It would have been different if the childs temp was 102 or so and would not break. Then it can become deadly serious. DCS Workers make $12.00 an hour and are mostly uneducated people. They feel empowered. Falsely. I would not want to be the person making orders like that in todays world. Back when I was growing up, we were vaccinated for polio, TB, tetanus and scarlet fever with the occasional booster shot. But the long list of today is shocking. We were also taught basic sanitation rules like how to wash your hands properly or dishes. Have you ever noticed how many people only get their fingertips wet after using the restroom and think they’ve washed up? I stopped participating in pot luck lunches after observing that. Eww… Hand sanitizers help, but are not as effective as a good vigorous soapy scrub.
We didn’t worry about STD’s because it was expected that we would save ourselves for marriage. Also birth control was not terribly effective so pregnancy was a big risk. Girls could not continue schooling once they began “showing” although night school was an option.
We didn’t worry about measles, mumps and rubella because kids got these all the time. Heck, I slept in the same bed as my sister when she had the mumps and I never got the disease.
The big worries of the day were commies under the bed and the atom b@mb.
You had a good immune system. My sister and brother both had mumps and I never contracted mumps. My sister had rubella (also known as German Measles) and I thought that I never had them until I had my 4th pregnancy. Then I was told by the doctor that I had antibodies for it. The doctor said I had such a light case as a child that I displayed no signs or symptoms. My two siblings and I were vaccinated only for smallpox, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, and whooping cough. No booster shots. This was it. Thankful for that and for the fact we still had nutritious food coming from mineral enriched soil. We are all still living and physically able bodied people.
I forgot having received the diphtheria vaccine. Whooping cough was still a big concern though as the vax had’t reached our neck of the woods.
The only childhood diseases I had were chicken pox and measles. Second grade was largely lost to strep throat although I still had to study at home: I did not repeat that grade.
AND they should have repaired the door they busted down! The children DO NOT belong to the state! They belong to the parents! Socialist Services has gone too far! Who is going to stop them?
My offspring were home-schooled by a mother that actually was a certified college graduate teacher. I chipped in when the sciences got a little complicated and after they were beyond my technical degrees, well they just had to go to community college for the advanced math, chemistry and physics. Yea, they were the youngest in class, but it was good socially for them. There were older adult students that kept an eye on them. The interesting part though is that I knew parents that were only high school educated and homeschooling. There kids did extremely well, Nurses, Computer specialists, electricians, aviation specialists and one with a bachelor degrees in interior design and a master degree in theology. I think that best of the good education benefits comes from simply keeping your children out of the FUCKING PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM.
If we follow the democrats logic it would have been perfectly acceptable to murder these kids right after birth. Clearly the government they want either has more control of kids than parents. If this sounds not only against all logic, that’s because they have insane reprobate minds.

Did I overlook something in the article? I didn’t see anything about whether the kids have been vaccinated while in DCS custody or not. If they have been vaccinated, knowing FULL WELL how the parents feel about it, then either a law suit, removal of DCS’s ability to request treatment without parental approval, or some extreme action needs to be taken.
If this can be used as a loophole on one family, it can be used on all.
Worked in medical field for over 40 years with specialties in pediatrics and ventilators. Article said child had a fever over 100. So does this mean 100.2 or what exactly? No one gets worried about a fever in a child until it gets to over 101. A fever can mean anything, a virus, like a cold or flu. Just because a child has a fever does not mean meningitis, unless they actually know the child was exposed to someone who came down with it……which doesn’t sound like the case. Parents rights, children’s rights, freedom of speech rights, rights to bare arms, etc., you name it and the government thinks they know better than you. My kids all had measles, chicken pox, mumps, and all survived without any complications. Just use common sense in caring for them with they come down with these childhood diseases…..that doesn’t mean let them go outside as usual and run and play. The government needs to take care of their own business and let parents take care of their own. Right now the government could use someone breaking down their door and carting them off to prison. It’s only going to get worse, the government is out of control and needs reining in.

Infidel, My father was an OB/GYN and my mother an RN (both retired now) and his theory on Autism was due to any one of the following; the mother having a root canal or mercury filling in her mouth in the months prior to conception, or early in the pregnancy, and/or regularly eating fish known to have anything but only negligible traces of mercury and instead consumed fish with medium to high levels of mercury just prior to conceiving or during the pregnancy.
In summary, the mother had levels of mercury high enough to cause Autism, however the high levels occurred is often the mystery.
When the mercury gets into the child’s system it has nowhere to go but up. It gets deep into the tissues but over time some travels up, as far as it can go, which would be the brain where most of it is stored. In other words, it eventually reaches the child’s brain. Mercury bio-accumulates in the system. It doesn’t get slowly released over time. It keeps accumulating. An over-abundance of vaccines could put the child at the tipping point, not too mention it is unnecessary and unethical.
He said the group of pediatricians in his professional circles whom he knew well told him that of the 100 Autistic children under age 5 tested in their studies all of them tested positive for elevated levels of mercury when they had not yet been to a dentist or consumed fish with medium to high mercury levels.

When my youngest was 4, she got her chickenpox booster. Within weeks, she got a raging shingles outbreak. Took her to the pediatrician and asked if what was covering her little torso was shingles. He said it was then told me it was caused by the chickenpox vaccine. He went on to claim that his practice had seen a 500% increase in kids with shingles. Why, then, give these kids the vaccine if he had seen this rise? He responded with, “Well, at least they won’t get chickenpox.”
I’m over 50 and never got the chickenpox vaccine. How in the world did I survive without getting it? Or the HPV vaccine? Or Hep B? Or Hep A? Or meningococcal? And the list goes on and on.
I would be interested in seeing a correlation, if any, on where the flare-ups of these diseases are occurring and how many “immigrants/refugees/whatever-they’re-called-today” have been recently placed in said area. Herd immunity works great. But when the government socially engineers things by dumping even a moderate amount of illegals into a once healthy area, herd immunity no longer works.

The only electronic component in a solar panel is a diode. They are 50 cents a piece and easy to replace. The solder and cells should be fine. It’s all the other components you need to worry about (controller, inverter). Get a lightning arrestor for added protection.

I worked for DCS for six years. This was 1989 in the capitol city of a Western state. By the time I’d been there six months I had them figured out. They were put in place to UNDERMINE the American family.
I was a word processor and 50% of all “child abuse” cases came to me for typing; therefore I was in an excellent position to see the whole bloomin’ big picture! I also typed minutes of meetings, memos from admin, etc.
Parents should be VERY careful re their kids. DCS can hassle you for the smallest, slightest reasons. They take kids all the time. It’s all about controlling the American public.

Just some additional information…
It’s normal for young children to have high fevers, 102 or 103. Definitely not something that you need to go to the doctors for in the fist place, since all they will do is give them fluids and tylenol or ibprofen. The fact that this “doctor”s first instinct is that the child has menigitis is absurd, then to go up in arms about them not going to the hospital is crazy. F*ck those child stealing bastards.
First, this child was confirmed to have meningitis. This can cause permanent debilitating effects.. such as paralysis for the rest of their life. The parents should have run not walked to the hospital as soon as the doctor mentioned such a bad infection. Why would you be so foolish to not seek treatment or diagnosis? They were obviously too stupid to care for children and needed to learn how to care for their children.
Second, a lot of autism is caused by a micro deletion of a chromosome like my sons. The trouble is you have to pay for genetic testing to find it. Not cheap. Geneticist says it is probably the largest cause of autism but testing is not available very widely. If my son ever wants to have children he will be recommended to have testing with his wife to see if she has the same thing which then would almost guarantee a child born with autism. We can now see the autism going back through the generations. He is our adopted son but from within the family so we have the opportunity to see this. His autism was there before any vaccinations and due to the autism and lack of ability to know best hygiene practices and can not be monitor every second of the day we have to have vaccinations against common diseases that he could get from the foolish parents who do not vaccinate and could infect my child.
Remember, vaccinations are not always just about the health of your child but the health of the child who can not protect themselves from your children. Sometimes we just need to stop and think about other people in this world and not just ourselves.
I’ve read several accounts of this story and these always said the doctor thought it *might* be meningitis which is vastly different from confirmed to have this disease. Children with that disease don’t suddenly stop having a fever as was the case here. The accounts I read inferred that the mom was on the way to the ER when the fever broke. In any case, we are only reading about the whole series of events so facts can be difficult to pin down.
