Two Weeks From War: China And India Brace For Conflict Over Border Dispute

Do you LOVE America?

It’s no secret that the mainstream media doesn’t prioritize stories that are actually important. While everyone’s been talking about the latest celebrity breakup and whatever contrived controversy that has been stirred up against the president, most people are completely oblivious to the fact that a terrifying war is brewing in the heart of Asia.

In June, a decades old border dispute between India and China flared up, after Chinese soldiers attempted to build a road in the Doklam region of Bhutan, a remote and sparsely populated plateau that doesn’t appear to have any strategic significance or resources. China responded in July by explicitly threatening war if India doesn’t back off.

Since then those threats haven’t tapered off at all. If anything they’ve escalated as the Global Times, a media mouthpiece for the Chinese government, continues to make jingoistic threats towards India’s border troops.

Over the past month, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) has been on the move. We believe that the PLA has made sufficient preparation for military confrontation.

It is a war with an obvious result. The government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi should be aware of the PLA’s overwhelming firepower and logistics. Indian border troops are no rival to PLA field forces. If a war spreads, the PLA is perfectly capable of annihilating all Indian troops in the border region.

And what’s more worrisome, is that China has gone so far as to issue a timeline for India to withdraw it’s troops from the region. On Friday the Global Times issued the following report:

China urged India to immediately pull back the trespassing troops to the Indian side of the boundary and called on them to swiftly address the situation in a proper manner to restore peace and tranquility in the border region, Ren Guoqiang, a spokesperson for the defense ministry said in a statement posted on its website late Thursday night.

“The series of remarks from the Chinese side within a 24-hour period sends a signal to India that there is no way China will tolerate the Indian troops’ incursion into Chinese territory for too long. If India refuses to withdraw, China may conduct a small-scale military operation within two weeks,” said Hu Zhiyong, a research fellow at the Institute of International Relations of the Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.

Hu said that the military operation would aim to seize Indian personnel illegally lingering in Chinese territory or to expel them. “The Chinese side will inform the Indian Foreign Ministry before its operation,” Hu said.

This of course isn’t an official threat, given that the commenter is merely a researcher at a think tank. But it’s important to remember that every institution in China has strong ties with the government, and the Global Times thoroughly aligned with the Communist Party. They quite literally toe the party line, and they don’t publish anything that isn’t sanctioned by the government. They provide the best way for Beijing elites to issue proclamations without raising any eyebrows in the international media.

Make no mistake, though this threat isn’t official it is very real, and should be considered a genuine statement from the Chinese government. We could be weeks away from seeing a serious conflagration between India and China.

      1. So does this mean that customer service reps will soon have a chinese accent?

        • Call Center Operator: “Sum Tin Wong?”. No Indiya heya

        • And they will have a full data base on you when you do call in for tech support.

        • And they will still go by “Dave”…

China has routinely pushed the border issue in the past few decades. But, now they are fully capable of slapping India’s military down hard.

This event will more than likely be moderated, likely at Russia’s behest, because both are customers for Russian products. And both are members of BRICS. For that reason, external interests may do what they can to provoke a conflict, weakening BRICS, and potential alliances…

        • That whole area is about to blow up.

          • I don’t think so.

      2. It seems that a huge Bubble of violence is about to burst upon the world.

Not to leave out future earth changes and social disruptions.

We seem to be entering perilous times and many will be caught unaware.

Our lives could change in a moment.

        • Excellent article Mac! I hope other sites pick up your story.

watching and waiting, very well said, “It seems that a huge Bubble of violence is about to burst upon the world.” And all “our lives could change in a moment.”

In a couple of weeks, I’m going down to set up a BOL just in case one day 40 miles is not far enough from Washington DC. I will take some of my backup equipment for emergency cooking and water purification. Although if nukes start flying IS ANY PLACE SAFE!

        • GET IT ON!!!!

      4. The citizens of India don’t have much pull in the globalist scheme of things I believe. Even though they have nuclear weapons they are still controlled by Great Britain and the US. Remember the Dow chemical plant explosion, they were treated like their lives were worthless. Reportedly many farmers have taken their own lives when forced to plant gmo seed crops that failed and then forced to buy more gmo seeds. Well, the people that come to the US fare better running small motels and convenience stores all over the place.

It was Union Carbide in Bhopal. About 6000 Indians died. The CEO and a few others are wanted for murder in India; fat chance of an extradition regardless if International Law requires it. They’re “On The Lam” for 33 years in the Hamptons sipping a cocktail goosing their illegal immigrant maid.

Governments, Voting, “Constitutions”, “Rights” are nothing more than a facade to pacify the masses into the belief that they might actually have a chance of effecting positive change if only they………..

          • He was declared a fugitive from justice by the Chief Judicial Magistrate of Bhopal on February 1, 1992, for failing to appear at the court hearings in a culpable homicide case. A formal extradition request was issued in 2003.The United States declined to extradite him citing a lack of evidence. The chief judicial magistrate of Bhopal issued an arrest warrant for Anderson on July 31, 2009.

Anderson was the CEO of Union Carbide

          • Who’s the biggest Indian killer since Custer?

            Union Carbide.

Seriously, it’s hard for either India or china to get worked up about 6000 dead peasants.

India is a shithole, and always will be. The only way this will change is for India to be inhabited by different people. The river shitters/bathers surely won’t get it fixed.

People are all the same, just different skin color. Sure, let’s go with that.

          • Who killed more Indians than General Custer? Union Carbide.

          • Kevin2… my bad calling it Dow Chemical. Anyway chemicals have more rights than people.

            • Union Carbide was taken over by Dow after this tragedy.

Thirty years ago, on the night of December 2, 1984, an accident at the Union Carbide pesticide plant in Bhopal, India, released at least 30 tons of a highly toxic gas called methyl isocyanate, as well as a number of other poisonous gases. The pesticide plant was surrounded by shanty towns, leading to more than 600,000 people being exposed to the deadly gas cloud that night. The gases stayed low to the ground, causing victims throats and eyes to burn, inducing nausea, and many deaths. Estimates of the death toll vary from as few as 3,800 to as many as 16,000, but government figures now refer to an estimate of 15,000 killed over the years. Toxic material remains, and 30 years later, many of those who were exposed to the gas have given birth to physically and mentally disabled children. For decades, survivors have been fighting to have the site cleaned up, but they say the efforts were slowed when Michigan-based Dow Chemical took over Union Carbide in 2001. Human rights groups say that thousands of tons of hazardous waste remain buried underground, and the government has conceded the area is contaminated. There has, however, been no long-term epidemiological research which conclusively proves that birth defects are directly related to the drinking of the contaminated water.

      5. China and India are both seriously overpopulated. The governments of these two Countries, along with the 3ew overseers have probably orchestrated a conflict in order to solve their respective population excess.

Even if these conflicts are not planned for that purpose, never-the-less population reduction would result. Which would strengthen both Countries.

I say, give an IQ test. Everyone who fails gets sterilized. If they refuse, they are shot. Problem solved. If we employed this in the United States of America our problems would be greatly reduced. Just call it “Project Intelligence Privilege”. Life is not fair.

        • BfromCA, Now yer talkin’! Get rid of at least 50% of the idiots.

          • Get rid of at least 50% of the idiots?!Why not a 100%?!Genius,your statement is well, idiotic!

So some call centers get nuked, perhaps a few less factories in China supplying junk,we DO NOT have a dog in this fight.China goes to war here with India, might as well solve the NK issue while at it,though again,NK’s gotta a big bark, not a lot of bite.

              • I saw Ronnie with Rainbow, had front row seats for solo tour this album, got in fight with Dee Snyder as Twisted backing em up,tossed from show Dammit!Through the decades love hearing foilks talk about it,of course their tales have zero basis to reality of what really happened and love look on their faces when I tell em who it was!

I saw Rainbow with Atlanta Rhythm Section/Sweet/and the top act of night, the great as always Foghat, was a hell of a show for a young kid! Thus,at least once got to see The Man On The Silver Mountain!

                • Coolbeans

            • Warchild, I question how much “bite” the Red Chinese really have and question the quality of their weapon systems. The last war the Chinese had with anyone was Vietnam in 1979 and the Vietnamese sent them home crying for Momma. The Indians are tough people. While the Indians might suffer some heavy casualties, they could send the gooks home crying for Momma. I’d put my money on India.

              • Eh,with battlefield nukes both sides see a easy way this could get out of hand, also, would Pakistan think a nice time to hit India?I do not say the Indians are not tough, just that China would nuke before losing face, this like all hot spots these day could get very ugly very quickly, the down side of tech advances.

                • There is way too much money on the line. One good Black Swan event triggers a global market crash that neither India nor China desire. This is the interdependency of globalism at work that will moderate national pride self interest. Nation States will fight over the control of resources, not this.

              • The Deplorable Braveheart

China today is not China 1979 as their military has some seriously deep pockets. They’re not the bugle communicating masses on Pork Chop Hill.

                • Kevin2, I understand the Chinese have come a long way since that time but we still don’t know if their weapon systems will perform in real-life combat. There is a difference between drills and the real thing. It all remains to be seen.

          • Seriously? Take a step back and look at what you are saying. Call me simple but I still believe the song I used to sing in church. Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world, red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight —. Honestly, from lack of compassion shown for your fellow man I would say you would be chosen as part of the 50% you wish to have exterminated.

            • Like it or not,a dark sense of humor pervades this site. That said, the posters were talking the USA.Jesus loves all the kids(I find children annoying at best!)have him pull the plug on the nukes as a start,oh,and let a little more food grow so we do not have millions of kids wallowing in their own filth starving, what the fuck kinda love is that, some twisted tough love?!

              • “Empathy” or the lack of it, is programming. You’re propped behind the couch, gun in hand, waiting for the front door to be kicked in. Yet, you don’t realize that you’ve already been invaded, decades ago. Look at the ignorant black mirror hanging off the wall, center of the entertainment stand.

Cue up Styx, the Grand Illusion…

        • dude, B from Ca you seriously need to be sterilized yourself. you should never be allowed to reproduce. what a buffoon!

        • Violent crime in USA could be reduced by about 75% by deporting niggers.

      6. I was actually watching a video on YouTube abcout their war in the sixties. I wonder if these two large population centers will go hot? Would be interesting as both countries will have lots of waves of infantry…… grab some popcorn, Peeps.

        Keep your powder dry

      7. Being a curious person, I wonder what is so important
about this area that India and China are risking a war.
The Chinese have a big “Chip” on their shoulders
these days. I don’t think the Indians will be a

        • They just wanna play Chinese and Indians 😛

          • Very good!
You made me think of Custer.

        • Rellik, I believe the Indians will knock the chip from the gooks’ shoulders. If I could join the Indians I’d be willing to ventilate some gooks.

          • The Deplorable Braveheart.. the Vietnamese people were called gooks also. Actually they were and are very friendly people with a sense of unity as a nation. Much more than what passes itself off as the United States.

        • I have a feeling the chinese are in expand the empire mode,,,

      8. If this goes ahead, it will soon resemble Iran/Iraq war where millions of bride-less soldiers will be killed/nuked.
This could easily surpass the the total number of casualties from WW2.
        Think over 100 million …!!!!!!!!!!!!
        Mind boggling…!!!

        • bobane, both countries would still be waaaay overpopulated.

      9. I been on this BB too long or been following the antics of the nations of the world too damn closely but a “crazy” thought just came across me.

The US and UK have very close ties both politically (UK) and economically (US) with India. Maybe India was “motivated” into this action. Now the US can go to China and can say, “I’ll help you with the India problem as no one wants a war because its bad for business” . “Think you can help us with Korea”?

I’m a firm believe that nothing is accidental or coincidence. FDR said said, “If things happened they were meant to happen that way”. Nothing of what we see or read about is really accurate. It either never happened or never happened that way or never happened for that reason.

Something is fishy here. I don’t believe that out of the clear blue this incident just happened on its own.

        • Watch closely if some trade / economic deal comes India’s way in the near future.

        • Or we get China involved with the dot heads and they’ll be too busy which will allow us to wack NK’s pp.

        • Kevin2, I agree there’s something behind it and it could be the scenario you outlined. I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

      10. Unorganized, grabasstic pieces of amphibian shit.

      11. If the Chinese do invade India, they should feel free to close down the Centers for making telemarketing calls to the US. I’ve gotten too many calls where the caller has a heavy Indian accent. I haven’t won any contest, don’t need a backbrace, I am not in trouble with the IRS, and they do not work for Microdoft. Should do wonders for my blooc pressure.

        • Funny! I agree: the call centres are India’s Number One annoying export. Their top export is hot Indian women, but I digress.

I still don’t get why the put those centres are in India anyway: the Indians are unpleasant to deal with on the phone and are always running scams. Better to move it all to the Philippines. They speak English there, they are Christian and they are very friendly and warm people.

      12. I just read the book “On the Beach” about nuclear war– the consequences. it was very, very depressing. I advise against reading it! However, it did make me very aware of the consequences, on our personal level– how it would affect us… just extremely DEPRESSING!!! 🙁

      13. A war between India and China is just what the doctor ordered. And make no mistake, China would win hands down. India is a joke. India can’t even provide toilets for most of its population, they crap all over the streets and on the beach.

China is a next generation society, with the most sophisticated technology and science and a military that has won wars in recent history. The Chinese are superb logicians and planners and strategists. China is many times richer than India and can hand India its ass any day of the week. India is so corrupt and backward it barely functions.
