It wasn’t all that long ago that ruler Donald Trump reinstated military aid to Ukraine. Now he’s vowing to withdraw the United States from the Ukrainian “mess.”

Trump Mulls ANOTHER NEW Aid Package For Ukraine

The current ruler has said that this war is not his, but belongs to his predecessor, Joe Biden. When asked by journalists on Tuesday why the U.S. should keep funding Ukraine as Kiev grows increasingly more coercive in its draft campaign, Trump responded: “This is Biden’s war. This is not my war. I’m here to get us out of it. It’s a mess, and I’m here to get us out.”

The journalist then referenced Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky’s most recent decree to conscript men over the age of 60 to fight an unwinnable war. ”I haven’t heard that, when you say about 60-year-old men,” Trump said. “But this is Biden’s war. And we’re working very hard to get us out.”

Except that nothing Trump has done other than say words has been action-worthy in actually removing the U.S. from the war.

Trump is also threatening to impose additional sanctions and tariffs on Russia’s trading partners to pressure Moscow to accept a peace deal to end the war. So far, Russia has mocked Western attempts at sanctions, saying that they’ve been ineffective.

According to a report by RT, when asked whether he was prepared to follow through on his attempts to execute an economic war, Trump said a decision would be made after a scheduled meeting in Russia this week involving his special envoy, Steve Witkoff.

”I never said a percentage [for tariffs], but we’ll be doing quite a bit of that,” Trump said. “We have a meeting with Russia tomorrow [on Wednesday]… We’ll make that determination at that time.”

Moscow has condemned Trump’s tariff threats as violations of other nations’ sovereign rights to choose their own trade partners and economic allies. “We believe that sovereign states should have, and do have, the right to choose their own trade partners,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday.

      1. Like it or not, when he took the oath it became as much his war as it was Biden’s. Abandoning Ukraine is one of the more stupid things Trump has run his mouth about. We don’t have boots on the ground and the cost to the US is quite small.

        • One penny of American tax money spent on Ukraine is treason to the American people. Ukraine, like Israel, is an insignificant nation with no historical ties to the traditional American people. This war is Obama and Biden’s. Trump’s mistake was not cutting all foreign aid his first day in office. We are not “abandoning Ukraine” we are minding our own business, something we should have done since a coal dust explosion blew up the Maine. Every conflict since that one has been bad for the American people. Teddy Roosevelt charging up San Juan Hill is the reason the US is saddled with Puerto Ricans today. Cursed be his name.

      2. “The cost to the U.S. is quite small.” The government has “only” spent around $200 billion on the Ukraine boondoggle (that we know of), but I suppose that’s small change to some people, eh Quartermaster?
