The Debacle In Iowa Is A Perfect Example Of The Extreme Incompetence That Is Plaguing America

The rest of the world is laughing at us.  After what just took place in Iowa, we certainly do not have any right to lecture other nations about how to run their elections.  It was a dumpster fire of epic proportions, and the entire globe is talking about it.  Apparently the Democrats have decided to run their elections the same way that they run their cities.

The Iowa Democratic Party had just one job to do, and they failed in spectacular fashion.  Collecting voting results and reporting them to the public shouldn’t be complicated, but these days incompetence has become the norm.  From one end of the country to the other, it seems like people are competing to see who can be the most incompetent, and our population is becoming more “dumbed down” with each passing day.

Dumbing Down America: People Think The Coronavirus Has To Do With Beer

The debacle in Iowa is being blamed on a faulty app, and I suppose that we shouldn’t be surprised.

After all, just about everything that we put on our phones and computers these days must be constantly “fixed” or “patched” due to endless errors.

This app that the Democrats were using did not have to be complicated.  It simply needed to accurately relay data from the precincts to the Iowa Democratic Party, but thanks to “a coding error” that did not happen…

Due to a coding error, the app, created by a company called Shadow Inc., wasn’t reporting the correct data, according to the Iowa Democratic Party. The error resulted in the Democrats delaying all public reporting of the results of Monday’s caucuses, and has sown chaos and confusion in a hotly contested and deeply important primary.

After all of the hot air that the Democrats have been blowing around about “the integrity of our elections”, you would think that they would have their act together for the 2020 election.

But instead, they just showed the rest of the world what not to do.

And it isn’t as if this was a complete surprise.  According to CNN, it was clear well in advance that the app “was not working properly”…

Precinct captains from across Iowa began realizing days before the caucuses that the app was not working properly. Some complained to their county party leadership, others said nothing and hoped it would work at the needed moment and some just planned to call in their results, as has been done in the past. And most county party chairs openly worried about the lack of training on the reporting system.

In fact, only about one-fourth of all precinct chairs were able to successfully download the app

Only a quarter of nearly 1,700 precinct chairs even successfully downloaded the app, according to a Democrat familiar with the matter.

“I couldn’t get it to work,” said Jane Podgorniak, the Worth County party chair. “I tried and tried.”

There never was any training for the precinct chairs, and there was mass confusion among local party officials.  In Polk County, the chairman of the Democratic Party told his precinct chairs to simply call in the results, but that didn’t work either.  The following comes from the New York Times

So last Thursday Mr. Bagniewski, the chairman of the Democratic Party in Iowa’s most populous county, Polk, instructed his precinct chairs to simply call in the caucus results as they had always done. But during Monday night’s caucuses, those precinct chairs could not connect with party leaders via phone. Hold times stretched past 90 minutes. And when Mr. Bagniewski had his executive director to take pictures of the results with her smartphone and drive over to the Iowa Democratic Party headquarters to deliver them in person she was turned away without explanation.

Some precinct chairs were on hold with headquarters for two or three hours on Monday night, and it is still not clear why Iowa Democratic Party officials were not more responsive.

Needless to say, this was a complete and utter embarrassment for the national Democratic Party, and DNC Chair Tom Perez is pledging that such a debacle will never happen again

“What happened last night should never happen again,” Perez wrote in the statement. “We have staff working around the clock to assist the Iowa Democratic Party to ensure that all votes are counted. It is clear that the app in question did not function adequately. It will not be used in Nevada or anywhere else during the primary election process. The technology vendor must provide absolute transparent accounting of what went wrong.”

Hopefully, they can get their issues ironed out, but the truth is that the Democratic Party has a long history of complete and utter incompetence.

Of course, the Republican Party is not much better.  In fact, I could tell you stories about Republicans in my area that would make your hair stand on end.

Sadly, the truth is that we have become a raging “idiocracy” where people can’t seem to do much of anything right.  At one time we were a shining example to the rest of the world, but today we are a horde of entertainment-addicted zombies that never learned what it means to grow up and act like adults.  For example, just consider what is happening at one of our most prestigious universities

Students at Yale University are being encouraged to participate in a variety of programs offered by the Chaplain’s Office, including a weekly “Cookies and Coloring” hour and a campus “Bouncy Castle” during nice weather.

The children’s activities are promoted as opportunities for adult students to relieve anxiety and disconnect from technology at the Ivy League institution.

The more mindless our entertainment, the more we like it.  The number of alcohol-related deaths has doubled over the past 20 years, the suicide rate has soared to a record high, and we are taking more legal and illegal drugs than ever before.  And in just about every category of immorality that you can possibly imagine we are either leading the world or we are in very close contention for the top spot.  We are a complete and utter mess, and we on a road that inevitably leads to national ruin.

Of course, if anyone dares to offend our snowflake sensibilities by confronting us with the truth, many of us instantly meltdown and start throwing a temper tantrum.

Needless to say, what I have just said does not apply to everyone.  But overall our society is rapidly degenerating all around us, and our nation has no future if we stay on this path.

      1. Don’t for a second believe it was a code glitch. They know what the vote count is, but are hiding the real results and their real motives, and publishing skewed numbers. In 1920, one hundred years ago, all the votes in an entire state could be tabulated with great accuracy in 24 hours.
We’ve all seen the videos how many of these Democrat caucus organizers and candidate staffers are little more than socialist minions. Remember what Comrade Stalin said, “It’s not who votes, but who counts the votes that matter. The people who cast votes decide nothing, the people who count votes decide everything.” What happened in Iowa is simply a present day version of this classic socialist / communist power play.
Iowa will not be the only state this happens in, there will undoubtedly be corrupted voter processes in several states, especially in red states where Dem.s operatives WILL TRY to corrupt each state’s voting process to win, or to delegitimize Rep. victories.
Pres. DT should be re-elected. Unfortunately however, eventually a far-left candidate will be elected Pres. The best thing DT could do in his second term is to put into place policies such as greatly inhibiting illegal immigration to diminish illegal Dem. voters, to appoint conservative judges, to effect long-term processes that are difficult to overturn, and do everything possible to stymie the actions of a future leftist Pres.
When a future far-left candidate is elected he/she will want to reopen borders and restore unchecked immigration, abrogate our 2nd Amendment rights, cancel tax reductions and increase taxes, socialize health care and eliminate private health care, create new “hate speech” laws that are un-Constitutional, and give women, minorities, gays, and illegal immigrants special and permanent legal status for starters.
The only future hope is to have enough conservatives in the House and Senate, and conservative judges, to keep leftists from undoing our freedoms. I believe I cay say the US is in for a lot of turmoil in the not so distant future.

      2. Yup, that pretty much sums it up We are the Roman Empire….& we all know how that worked out..LOL ! Get your ducks lined up as the great culling is coming …

      3. It’s simple math. For 50 years government indoctrination camps have cranked out 3.3 million Bolsheviks every year.

People profess to love Liberty. Yet who schools their children? Yep, the government. And their grandchildren? Same.

      4. Democrats are a dangerous, incompetent bunch.

      5. That app was developed with two objectives in mind. 1. Again, screw Sanders out of winning in Iowa 2. gain acceptance as a tool to accomplish the “vote by phone” movement, at the national level, so the Demonrats could “legitimately” steal national elections. Just look at who the main player of the development company is for proof. A former Hitlery Cliton operative.

“It’s not the people who vote that count. It’s the people who count the votes.” – Stalin

What they actually accomplished with their debacle was to sink their previously anointed nominee Creepy Joe Biden’s chances to come out of Iowa with any momentum. Biden should have gotten the hint two weeks ago when the DNC changed the rules so that Boomberg could join tonites debate.

The DNC knows that Biden is toast after all of the Ukraine dirt that has been aired over the last couple months about him and his son. They also know that the only candidate left that’s got even a remote shot at beating Trump in Nov. is Bloomberg. The rest of the field is a bunch of idiots who are espousing everything for illegals and nothing for The People that isn’t going to raise taxes to astronomical levels, not that taxes aren’t there already.

Bloomberg can’t win either IMHO, given his very public stance and monetary support of the anti gun crusade.

      6. It’s not incompetence. It’s a feature, not a fault.

Both the DNC and the RNC are private corporations. They are not bound by primary elections when it comes to picking a presidential candidate. They are free to give delegates to one and take them from another. Primaries are theater for the masses. They have final say on who gets on the ballot, regardless of vote tallies. And it’s all “legal”. Research it and you will find out the truth.

They took delegates from Sanders in 2016 and gave super-delegates to Hillary to ensure her nomination. They took Maine delegates from Ron Paul in 2012 and gave them to Romney. They refused to seat and recognize Ron Paul delegates at the convention.

If you ask, they will tell you they are not bound by primary voting. They have already publicly stated as much. Presidential candidates are pre-vetted by the bosses. Anyone who thinks the Uniparty cares about your vote is a sheeptard. Both the RNC and the DNC only run approved presidential candidates.

      7. I have heard it many times, “Those people in Washington don’t know what they’re doing”. Covert corruption can only accomplish so much, therefore, desiring more, the actions become overt which requires increasing levels of cometic theatre on the order of, “The Three Stooges” to drawl misplaced public blame. The sad fact is it’s not incompetence, it’s corruption.

      8. Americans today can’t even dock a ship no less a lunar module.

      9. The Demonrats that can NOT count the votes in Iowa are typical examples of the Demonrats that can NOT count your tax dollars. These are folks that think their wild spending sprees can continue forever – after all, they still have checks left.

      10. The debacle in Iowa was a predicate for screwing Bernie Sanders out of the nomination by killing any momentum he may have had going into NH. Remember what Stalin said about voting: “It’s not the people that vote that counts, it the people that count the votes.” Take a look at the app developers in that company. One of them was a Hitlery Cliton staffer from the 2016 campaign.

Also, a major source of the funding for the company, Shadow, came via George Soreass.

This was also a test run for the national vote by phone movement which would enable anyone to co-opt vote counts at will in the future. The biggest offenders there, IMHO, would be the Democrats, the party notorious through out history, for rigging elections.

After this is it any wonder that President Trump is rising in the polls? The Democrats shot themselves in the foot with all of these witch hunts they’ve been perpetrating on The People for the last three years, culminating in this stupid move to Impeachment.

After the Impeachment fiasco and the Iowa debacle, who would trust bunch of brainless lying swindlers to run the country?

      11. I call b.s. on this premise. That the Iowa caucus counting app failure was due to incompetence. I think it went exactly according to some warped plan. Consider the outcome. Gay Pete pretty much now is in the spotlight. Bernie seemingly vindicated for the 2016 political hit-job on him by the DNC/Hillary. Gropin’ Joe pretty much flushed out as a senile pedo. Spandex Yogahauntus firmly planted off the reservation. Dizzy Flippy Kobuchar somehow having found her anti-spaz meds. Li’l Mike waiting in the wings ready, willing and able to literally buy the whole Demonrat party with his Tonto Steyer Mikey-wannabe and Mr. Sulu Wang there for comic relief…. no, this went perfectly, the whole ‘debacle’.

      12. “Students at Yale University are being encouraged to participate in a variety of programs offered by the Chaplain’s Office, including a weekly “Cookies and Coloring” hour and a campus “Bouncy Castle” during nice weather.

The children’s activities are promoted as opportunities for adult students to relieve anxiety and disconnect from technology at the Ivy League institution.”

When Bezmenov said that demoralized people could not be restored to sanity, he didn’t expect them to be diaper fetishists.

I was young, in the days of beepers, before all the white Boomers were kicked out of IT. I could read industry mags, without the state providing me any bouncing castles, from which I would learn technical skills.

25-30yrs ago, they would tell you all the openings, in the old systems, while selling you the newest model.

I remember looking at the pages of this old, junk magazine, being used as my textbook cover, as a kid, thinking you should recall and refund what is broken — like, if it was a car or baby stroller. Data breaches were a back door, purposefully designed into the system.

Cronies and bronies aren’t going to fix the voting machines, readers.

      13. Well, yes, all through history the Democrats have been ignorant and crooked but the problem is the growing number of them. I have to put much of the blame on several aspects of our society. First the public schools, the teachers are strong union members, unions=democrats, in other words, I want something for nothing so the teachers teach this ideology to the students. Second the higher education, it aint called “liberal arts” for nothing. So whats next, the lousy left wing media. I wont blame too much on newspapers because very few people, especially youth, read them anymore, they are going bankrupt by the minute. The real problem is television. Television has been a scourge on society since it began. It takes no imagination,no thinking, just sit and let the crap pour into your brain, and BELIEVE IT ALL. I dont watch television news. I have been a firefighter for many years and after I noticed how television news mutilated and twisted stories I was involved in first hand, I came to the realization that I shouldnt trust anything they say. Lastly we have the internet, where all of the cell phone junkies spend all of their time. At least with the internet you can decide what you want to read that is unless you search with something like Google who sends you to the first liberal website that they want you to read. Expected, yes, what else would you get from people on the LEFT coast. I will say one of the few beacons of sense are writes and websites like this one and good old AM radio talk. Seems like radio for the most part is on the side of sensibilities. I am expecting when the next democrat, liberal, socialist or communist gets elected as president, the first thing will be the elimination of free speech on government licensed broadcast stations. This screw up in Iowa is no surprise to me, I live in Iowa and know several county Democrat leaders, to know them is to not question the foul ups, and yes, I am sure its more of slight “adjustments” to the numbers to make certain who wins than an actual software bug. Its inevitable that the liberals will be in power in the future,I may just move to a South Pacific island and watch the fall of the Roman Empire being replayed in real time.
