Prior to George W. Bush illegally rolling into Iraq based on a passel of lies, Bill Clinton oversaw Papa Bush’s medieval sanctions on the country. The sanctions were not intended to stop Saddam Hussein from building WMDs as we were told by The New York Times and The Washington Post.

They were put in place to starve the Iraqi people, deny basic medical supplies, and turn the country into a failed state. The process resulted in the death of half a million Iraqi children.

Madeline Albright, Clinton’s Secretary of State, went on national television and said the murder of 500,000 Iraqi children was a price worth paying.

Now we have Mike Pompeo, Trump’s secretary of state, demanding similar sanctions imposed on Iran.

On Wednesday, Pompeo said the US will terminate a treaty with Iran put into place in 1955, two years after the CIA engineered a coup ousting the democratically elected leader Mohammad Mosaddegh.

The long forgotten Treaty of Amity was brought up by the International Court of Justice when it ruled the US must lift sanctions that affect the import of humanitarian goods and products.

The Hague said in a preliminary decision the US must “remove, by means of its choosing, any impediments arising from” sanctions that affect exports to Iran of medicine, medical devices, food, agricultural commodities and equipment necessary to ensure the safety of civil aviation, according to a report at Fox News.

The ICJ’s attempt to prevent the Trump administration from engaging in massive crimes against humanity, according to Pompeo, is “meritless” and accused the international court of “attempting to interfere with the sovereign rights of the United States to take lawful actions necessary to protect our national security and abusing the ICJ for political and propaganda purposes.”

Trump and his top neocon adviser John Bolton insist the International Criminal Court has no authority. “As far as America is concerned, the ICC has no jurisdiction, no legitimacy, and no authority,” Trump told the General Assembly at the United Nations. “The ICC claims near-universal jurisdiction over the citizens of every country, violating all principles of justice, fairness, and due process. We will never surrender America’s sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable, global bureaucracy.”

The US is not a party to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court. Bill Clinton signed the Rome Statute in 2000, but it wasn’t sent to the Senate to be ratified. The Bush administration sent a note informing the Secretary-General that it would not ratify the Rome Statute and did not recognize any obligation toward it. Like the Trump administration, the Bush administration openly demonstrated hostility toward the idea of holding nations accountable for war crimes.

The US backed up this defiance by passing the American Service Members Protection Act in 2002 ahead of the Iraq invasion. The law includes a provision to “use all means necessary and appropriate to bring about the release of any U.S. or allied personnel being detained by, on behalf of, or at the request of the International Criminal Court.” Additionally, the act permits the president to order military action against the Court, which resulted in critics calling it the “Hague Invasion Act.”

However, the Bush administration and its neocons decided the ICC would be of use on a selective basis—against its official roster of enemies.

The former Bush UN ambassador (by recess appointment) and current top Trump administration neocon John Bolton declared war on the ICC after it announced it would investigate war crimes in Afghanistan. Bolton said the US will level sanctions against the international organization if it proceeds.

Trump and Bolton are clearing the decks in preparation of military action against Iran. They would like to see a return of brutal sanctions used for over a decade in Iraq.

Iran understands what this means: rapid deterioration of health, targeting water purification (a primary objective in Iraq), communications, agriculture, and medical infrastructure.

The US stated sanctions would remain in place even if Saddam Hussein decided to cooperate with the United Nations, thus demonstrating the sanctions and subsequent second invasion were not about WMDs and unfounded threats to America. The objective was to destroy Iraq, kill its people, and reduce the country to failed state status.

Neocon “creative destruction” is focused on making certain Iran does not pose a challenge to the hegemonic rule of the United States and Israel. Both Israel and the fossilized Sunni-Wahhabi emirates in the Persian Gulf avidly support destroying Iran and killing millions of its people.

My original post was stricken from the comments section, so you can only imagine the message I had for this asshat with shit for brains who wants to be an author. 🙂

      2. Watchdog

The OJ is a puppet to the Zionist Klan in Israhell. Sheldon Adelson owns him. BB must be pleased as our “expendables” fight his wars and die for the fake state. Pathetic.

Sanctions ? I don’t like it and you don’t like it …. But this is what you have when a man refuses to get his mind right.

Just ask Kim Jong Un about the effectiveness of sanctions
Sanctions ? I don’t like it and you don’t like it …. But this is what you have when a man refuses to get his mind right.

Well, hopefully Iran will wipe Israel off the map. The only good jue is a dead jue.

        • Stuart

Still mad that they are smarter than you, eh asshole?

          • Jas

No, just hate them because I have never met a f-ing jue that didn’t put Israel first. The best thing that could happen would be for Israel and especially Jerusalem leveled with a nuke.

            • Gray Ghost

Who do you put first dumbass? Like all of of they want to take care of their own. And have had to due to nazis like you.

The author never considers that Moslems
by nature are self destructive and have caused their
own problems, much as they spread death and misery
        across the globe.

        • The Deplorable Renegade

Rellik, it sounds like Iranian propaganda to me. Muslims always lie about us. Iran is no different.

Sheldon Adelson is making billions of dollars a year. He owns a Las Vegas hotel and a daily newspaper in Isreal. He has five children including a daughter who grabbed the microphone of a reporter from Democracy Now as he attempted to get more answers from the 82 year old Adelson as Sheldon Adelson moved down the hall in his wheel chair. Since even Israelis have acknowledged the power Sheldon Adelson wields over USA Presidents and everyone knows that Adelson made contributions to President Trump’s campaign; it is apparent that Adelson plays a major role in America’s actions with regard to those actions that interest Isreal. All Presidential hopefuls, according to Israelis that have been witness to the fact, vow to do everything for the benefit of Isreal. This vow of unlimited loyalty to Isreal, a foreign Country, is a non-negotiable requirement for all Presidents including but not limited to President Trump. With such power, it is amazing that we know more about the Kardashians than we do about the Adelsons. Can anyone name the names of the Adelson men, sons of the aged Sheldon and most likely the middle aged men who will inherit the wealth to influence America’s present and its future?

You people have a screw loose. When I first came to this site there were articles about prepping and such that I wanted to read. Now it is just turning into a red neck hate fest. Tired of
        it. I am out.

        • Nonya Business

I am close to ‘out’ myself, to a number of sites like this, that I have faithfully read over the past years. Where I used to find interest and value in reading almost every single article, now I read just a fraction of them because they are mostly political opinions. On the bright side, it takes me a lot less time to get through all the sites now.

          • Justice

Nonya Business, I spend a lot more time on YouTube in order to get great prepping tips and how to information.

However, these sites are still useful for getting some important news that you know the “main stream media” will not cover.

Finally, it’s been a LONG 10 years of prepping. I feel like “Moses and the Hebrewites” being lead through the desert for 40 years.

          • Elkhound

NB; This site has deteriorated exponentially ever since prepping took a backseat to POLITICS..SHTFplan use to be a site dedicated to prepping but anymore instead of prepping articles we are bombarded with articles about POLITICS five days a week and it has brought trolls out of the woodworks that have absolutely no interest whatsoever learning about prepping..There’s a reason why so many trolls have appeared out of nowhere..For every article about prepping there’s probably five articles about POLITICS..And if not POLITICS it’s “doom/gloom” fear porn articles by so called “experts “claiming the end is near..Like I’ve said before,if these so called “experts ” truly believed that the end is near they would quit their job, sale their home, get every penny out of the bank, and flee to their BOL yesterday, but for some reason their not,and like clockwork they’ll post another article and it’s rinse/repeat..I’m out as well,if I wanted to hear POLITICAL opinions I’d turn on my TV..SHTFplan definitely isn’t what it use to be..

      9. Justice

Lane Charles Rustad and Nonya Business; I hope you guys stay and contribute to the site because I think we really are close to an economic collapse and/or war. The two often go hand in hand.

I hope that there are at least a few people that post here that you you like or follow. Also, try to interject some prepping tips that pertain to the article. For example, food has been used throughout history a very effective tool of war and subjugating people. Consequently I need to make sure that I am independent/self-sufficient because I don’t want me or “mine” to starve.

IMPORTANT: Did you guys know that Walmart delvers food for free (i.e. NO SHIPPING) on order over $35.00. I just ordered 12 No. 10 cans of Diced Potatoes!! It has really allowed me to purchase in Bulk items I cannot find at Costco.

        h ttps://www.walmart.com/ip/Allens-Diced-Potatoes-102oz/55331700?athcpid=55331700&athpgid=easyreorder&athmtid=eroData&athznid=eroData&athena=true

        • rellik

          Justice,
Not in Hawaii! They add a surcharge that makes on-line more expensive than the local Walmart(over 40 miles away) or for the most part more expensive than Amazon(for like items).

          • Justice

rellik, sorry that you cannot take advantage of this great service, but on the bright side you live in Hawaii!

            • rellik

My point was that Amazon that most people on this site hate, can deliver cheaper than Walmart, Walmart is really missing a market.
Yes, I live in Hawaii, bad government, overpriced everything, constant threat of most all natural disasters, but great weather and scenery. I think I’ll stay.
              Have a good weekend all!

      10. aljamo

Some people won’t read what doesn’t fit into their own view of their own truth. Common sense be damned. The American people are played as suckers just to convince enough people that the government has their best interests first. Lying media works 24/7/365 to make that happen. The majority are caught up just trying to survive day to day and are clueless about forces working against their future sustainability. An example is Sandy Hook where Wolfgang Halbig won his case being sued by Leonard Posner, though the truth is still hidden. At the Parkland school shooting in Florida there were cameras everywhere yet not one photo of the alleged shooter was produced and there was a teacher who witnessed the shooter and described that person as dressed in a full metal covering from head to toe. Halbig worked in school security that installed those cameras there. In these mass shootings all we get is lies.

      11. Harbard

Well I certainly do not support the Zionist control of this country, they OWN it lock stock and barrel…
That 4 billion in blood money paid the IDF is just a fraction that the war mongers get. That kind of dough would certainly be better spent on the wall, which would do a lot to save OUR country from invasion.

      12. ThePreacher

Some should put that fat fck Pompeo on a starvation diet… ’til the fcker croaks!

      13. southside

Justice, I didn’t know Walmart delivered. Send more info, please. Lane,Nonyabusiness,I read this site when Tess Pennington and especially Daisy Luther post. Everything else is b.s.

        • Justice

southside, just go to h ttps://www.walmart.com/ and search for the items you want. It’s free shipping on orders over $35.00 regardless of weight. Some things they don’t ship but you can pick it up at your nearest Walmart.

So now I don’t have to go by the Walmart and discovery that they only have a few of the items on the shelf. Now I can really stock-up on decent quantities.

      14. Jimb

        This author is an idiot

        • Kevin2

          Jimb

What are your reasons for that statement?

      15. Harbard

AT least in the USA you can still criticize Israel for it’s atrocities against the Palestinians in their concentration camps, allowed to expose the lies of the Holycost, and their constant missile attacks on Syria (who has Never fired a shot in anger against the IDF in 46 years…

In Europe and Canada you can go to prison for criticizing the new Nazis…

      16. Kevin2

“The ICC claims near-universal jurisdiction over the citizens of every country, violating all principles of justice, fairness, and due process. We will never surrender America’s sovereignty to an unelected, unaccountable, global bureaucracy.”

This sounds very reasonable when the ICC attempts domestic rule. Intentionally starving another nation, by preventing them from purchasing food with their own funds is not domestic but is in reality an act of war. Regarding Islamics self destruction the UK/US overthrew the democratically elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh in 1953 because he nationalized their own oil. The Shah of Iran, no sweetheart himself then ruled by force sands democratic elections for the next 26 years. Thats a violation of international law and it flies in the face of the words, democracy and Freedom.

      17. fixer

this is my last day reading posts on this site. This article is ridiculous, as are two other posts today. I use to enjoy reading it, had good info, but now it is just an internet version of the National Enquirer. I’m done. Over and out.

Also, the yakhchāl, bâdgir, and hand cutting machine.

Some said, it was so he would never again hold a Bible. Others said it was voter fraud. I think, it resembles the machine used to cut tobacco leaves into ribbons.

They are still modern enough to grow their own foods, manufacture their own consumer goods and medicines, without Western, corporate welfare.

Israel, too, originates plenty of it’s own intellectual property, won skirmishes and wars with old junk.

      19. Fling

As though we owe Iran anything at all. We want all of our money back and in exchange they can have this lunatic, globalist writer.

      20. Martus

The Bible seems to indicate that after the defeat of Media(Iraq) Persia (Iran) would follow and then the US.

        • Beaumont

I see where the Bible has discussed the singular, wealthy merchant nation / superpower, Samaritans, and imho, the half tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh. The ‘young lions’ are typically said to be English-speaking.

The Club of Rome has divided the entire planet into 10 numbered bio regions, on 7 continents, which I can imagine as the 10 horns on 7 heads. The ‘first three’ are uprooted, in Bible prophecy. On the secular map, #1, 2,and 3 are the N. America, West EU, and the Island of Japan, as it so happens.
