Poll: Nearly One Third Of Americans Would Accept ‘TSA Body Cavity Search’ in Order to Fly

This article was originally published at Infowars.com.

A new survey commissioned by Infowars and conducted by Harris Interactive has found that almost one third of American adults would accept a “TSA body cavity search” in order to fly, with a majority of Americans also feeling a law that would make disobeying a TSA agent in any public place illegal is reasonable.

The shock results emphasize the level of indignity Americans are willing to tolerate in order to travel.

They also highlight how the TSA’s reputation has remained largely intact despite a series of scandals and widespread criticism from innumerable public figures.

However, on other fronts the poll provides good news for those concerned with how liberties are being lost in the name of stopping terrorism. For example, a clear majority (65%) of American adults feel that TSA pat down policies that in some cases involve TSA agents touching travelers’ genitals are unacceptable.

The survey was conducted online by Harris Interactive on behalf of Infowars from November 5-7 among 2059 American adults.

    American adults were asked the following question as part of the poll;

“Given the recent reports concerning the threat posed by terrorists who plan to implant bombs within their own bodies, how willing, if at all, would you be to undergo a TSA body cavity search in order to fly?”

A total 30% of American adults said they would be “willing” or “somewhat willing” to accept a body cavity search. 57% would be “completely” or “somewhat unwilling” to submit to it and 13% answered “don’t know”.

Although the exact definition was not explained in the question, given that the term “body cavity search” refers to the most intrusive search imaginable, one normally performed on dangerous prisoners before they go to jail, the fact that almost one third of American adults would submit to such an invasion of their privacy simply to get on a plane is astounding.

    Those concerned with how much power has been concentrated into the hands of TSA workers, who are after all federal employees and not police officers, would also be disturbed at the response to the following question;

How reasonable or unreasonable do you feel it is that travelers should be made by law to obey every command given by a TSA agent inside an airport or any other public place given the threat posed by terrorists?

A total 57% of American adults said this was “completely” or “somewhat reasonable”. A minority of 43% said passing a law that would mandate total obedience to a TSA agent was “completely” or “somewhat unreasonable”. Out of that figure, just 16% thought it was “completely unreasonable”.

Surprisingly given their traditional distrust of big government, 60% of Republicans thought it reasonable compared to 64% of Democrats and 46% of Independents.

    We recently highlighted the fact that back in 2008, the Department of Homeland Security seriously pursued the idea of making travelers wear electronic shock bracelets that could be activated in the name of incapacitating “terrorists.” In reference to that news story, the survey asked the following question;

In 2008, the Department of Homeland Security expressed an interest in having travelers wear electric shock bracelets that would both track travelers through the airport as well as allow airport officials and flight crews to incapacitate potential terrorists. How willing, if at all, would you be to wear such a bracelet in order to fly?

35% of American adults would be “completely” or “somewhat willing” to wear the shock bracelet, compared to 52% who would be “completely” or “somewhat unwilling”. Republicans were more likely to be willing than Democrats, 41% to 34%.

    Given the rash of stories about TSA agents touching travelers’ genitals as part of pat down procedures for those who “opt out” of body scanners, the poll posed the following question;

In some cases, the TSA’s more invasive pat down procedures now include agents touching travelers’ genital area through their clothing. How acceptable, if at all, do you feel this is, considering the potential major threat posed by terrorists?

Despite the fact that this policy is already underway in some instances, a full 65% of American adults found TSA workers touching genitals “completely” or “somewhat unacceptable”. A further 35% of American adults found this “completely” or “somewhat acceptable”. More Republicans than Democrats (12% to 9%) were likely to find this “completely acceptable”.

Asked how the TSA is performing in its screening duties at U.S. airports, 77% of American adults said the federal agency was doing an excellent, good or fair job. 23% of American adults thought the TSA was doing a not very good job or a bad job in its duties. Despite sustained negative media coverage of the agency’s activities, of that latter netcategory, only 9% in total thought the TSA was doing a “bad job”.

More Democrats than Republicans (84% to 73%) responded that they thought the TSA was doing an excellent, good or fair job.

The results of this poll again underscore how ignorant many Americans remain of their rights at airports and other transport hubs where TSA agents are present. The results also clearly indicate that a substantial portion of Americans, around one in three, are willing to tolerate virtually any indignity if it is performed in the name of safety and security.

      1. Right.

        Know why?

        1. They have no choice and they know it.
        2. They have to fly to keep their jobs. I doubt anyone’s or most anyone’s doing it recreationally anymore. And any job that is worth a good God damn is having you go to China and Mexico and parts of the US all the damn time.

        AKA: see item 1.

        • Thankfully, my job doesn’t require travel.

Thus, I cannot think of a destination in the world I need to go badly enough to tolerate that.

          Hell would freeze over first.

          • Well said Daisy.

Unfortunately my job requires frequent trips to the asylum, I mean the airport, where I see lemmings and useful idiots smiling gleefully as they walk into the full body scanning machines as if it were an amusement park ride.

There is no hope for a recovery of American IQ. I don’t know if this is a well engineered & deliberate attack on Americans by external and/or internal enemies, or some cruel twist of evolutionary fate by nature. Either way, Americans have no idea how far down the ladder they have fallen intellectually.

            Cheers.

            • If you get Stuck in one of these searches try and Rip a good one right in their face.

              Maybe a nice wet shart.

              • Outstanding Stepabove. I’m always looking for new suggestions. Keep ’em coming!

                • This is a LIE! Lets take a poll on here who would accept a cavaity search. Thumbs up if you dont and thumbs down if you do. Let see what the average is with 100 people or more on here. This is another lie. It never stops

                • If everyone who walked up to the TSA gropers/molesters simply said “NO”.

This function of TSA would be history.

                • Oh good god. Now we’re advocating darting in a working stiffs face. The lady just wants a job. No need to 3rd grade it.y beef isn’t with her it’s with the government. Think how infantile this looks. Lets keep it real and people who read this will take us seriously.

                • No worries, Big Boy Pants. Just like the Germans who volunteered for the Nazi SS and then said “we were just following orders”.
After all, they just wanted a paying job right?
                  Wrong!
If you put on the uniform and follow the orders you are part of the problem. As they say, no individual raindrop considers itself responsible for the flood.
I’d sooner live on the streets and fish through garbage for food than become a TSA goon.

                • No problems, Big Boy Pants. Just like the Germans who joined the Nazi SS and then said “we were just following orders.”
After all, they needed a paying job, right?
                  Wrong.
If you put on the uniform and take the dirty money then you are part of the problem. As they say, no individual raindrop considers itself responsible for the flood.
I’d rather live on the streets and fish through garbage to stay alive than become a TSA goon!

              • I wonder what percentage of TSA employees would like to do the cavity searches?

It takes a sick and desperate individual willing to work for an organization like the TSA, or any part of the corp.

I would bet that not many here would be willing to sell their soul to dig in a hole.

                • I’m willing to bet that the 1/3 that agreed to have cavity searches if needed to fly were the same ones who just voted obama back into power.

                • I know only one TSA screener personally. A total moron…a grown man who still plays video games, has to text as often as he breathes and is completely inconsiderate. Sounds like a perfect fit.

As for Put On Your Big Boy Pants apologia: “Oh good god. Now we’re advocating darting in a working stiffs face. The lady just wants a job. No need to 3rd grade it.y beef isn’t with her it’s with the government.” This must be the guy on the Nuremburg prosecution who didn’t want to convict anyone lower than field marshal.

Apparently s/he is totally oblivious to the fact there can BE NO TYRANNY without smucks willing to do the tyrant’s bidding. It ALWAYS starts with the prison guard, like TSA. Yeah, I know, he needs a job. That’s how Dr. Megenle’s lab assistant got his break.

If I were this poster, I’d worry more about putting on my Big Person’s Brain than boy’s pants. You’ll just have to take them off for TSA anyway.

                  • So you think that someone who plays video games is immature? That a grown man or woman can’t play video games at an older age? Sorry I know that isn’t exactly what your talking about but I can’t get over the fact that you think that, or so it was implied. The average gamer is 30 years old, give or take and on average 183 million people in the United States alone play video games. So please do not go around insinuating that grown men who play video games are immature. It is a hobby, something to do in your free time.

                • Fudge packers all I’ll bet!

            • Flouridation, Mandrake. Flouridation.

          • They can commence the cavity search just as I commence my “daily constitution”, which is first thing in the morning shortly after I get out of bed. Heck, it’ll save on my TP preps. LOL

            • I also have 83,000 frequent flier miles for AA if anyone wants to buy them because I’m done flying commercially, riding the train, and the Greyhound bus. I won’t go to professional sports games if TSA is there, etc, and etc.

              • I agree. I preper to drive 12 hours from the midwest to the east coast, where i can transport my shampoo weapons, ammo, black powder all without extra fees or a very large person who smells next to me.

            • I expect that they would have a hard time finding people willing to do that all day. Then again they might just bring in some pervs. since their leadership seems to fit that role.

              • “Then again they might just bring in some pervs.”
The TSA already has a disproportionate number of perverts (convicted rapists, child molesters, etc.) working for them. They actually seek out this type of person to hire because they will be more willing and happy to order people around and grope them all day than the average person would be.

Alex Jones commissioned this survey not to convince the public that it must be okay since people agree to it, but to prove how dumbed down and slave-like the public has become. He was betting that (if I remember correctly) 15% would agree to cavity searches. It’s even worse than he expected!

          • Living in the sticks in Canada really would not require any travel.

            • Very true, Anonymous – I’m quite blessed! 🙂

              ~ D

            • Yep.ove to Canada u moron. Socialized single payer health care isl worse than us version.

              • @think, another thing one that lives in the sticks in canada need never/rarely do is go to a hospital. whether its socialized, insurance or if i have to pay fiat or for that matter if it was absolutley free, i would still rarely/never go. actually lets make it never again.

                • i need some help from someone who speaks english, please.  im trying to respond to eeders comments. If anyone would be so kind as to translate them for me into english and then stick around a minute or two and translate my response into american for her, Id be oh-so-grateful.

              • Hey think.. you are not only uninformed, not up to date, but you are as dumb as a rock.
                Daisey lives in Canada… Dimtard.

            • if one didnt want to travel at all anon, you are essentially correct. i rarely leave my property anymore, well its getting rarer and rarer.i will never fly again. i only have once in my life and this was before 9/11, and i must say it is one of the scariest, stupidist, pointless things i have ever done.

          • seems americans will sell their souls for anything that they may consider a convenience to traveling faster, making more money, partying a little harder, and so on. i am with you..hell would have to freeze over first!

          • But in the end you’ve still lost your Liberty just as much as those who allow the fondling.

          • Great comment. I, too, would not tolerate it.

What about carrying a copy of the 4th amendment? And then read and re-read and re-read it to them. And stand your ground. Every US citizen has the right to be “secure in their persons … against unreasonable searches and seizures…” We DO NOT have to allow these people to take away our rights. And then this nonsense also restricts our freedom of movement.

Please be aware there is a great example of this with a man named Matt Kernan, who was able to avoid both the naked body scanner and invasive TSA pat down procedures during his return to the United States about 2 years ago. So he proved that both measures are completely unconstitutional – and gave us the precedent we can apply ourselves. (Posted on Prison Planet 11/23/10) We do NOT have to become the submissive slaves of the power elite. We need to know our rights and stand firmly upon them, know our worth and not allow ourselves to be demeaned. Please spread the word.

        • They just think they have no choice. if everyone said i don’t think soCheck out your parters A$%^&. Then the airlines would lose enough revenue, they would force tsa to find a better plan

          • Used to fly 2-3 times per year. Have not flown in 15 years ; don’t figure to do so again unless going overseas.

            • If I can’t rent a Cessna or Piper fixed gear (vfr) I’m not flying. I’m driving the Dodge or riding one of the motorbikes.

        • Hi TheGuy,

Here is the other poll that was NOT mentioned in this article:

100% of polls like this are pure bullshit.

These polls are simply some more of the handy work of the Ministry-Of-Propoganda (aka: Main-Stream-Media) that is published to help “convience” people that they “like” being molested by a treasonous agency, hence the real name of the TSA: Treasonous Scumbags & Assholes,.. or Treasnous Sex-molestors Agency.

Either one works well,.. take your pick.

JD – US Marines – Telling Americans,.. if your EVER on a jury involving a TSA case,… the American that hit the TSA agent for molesting them is innocent,.. and the TSA Agent is guilty,.. period.

          • JD- good to see you posting here again.

          • The TSA are MONSTERS!!! Those Transacting Sexual Assaults MUST be punished!!! How can they be allowed to grope you, fondle you, and see your privates, while dosing you with radiation that is BANNED in Europe???

MONSTERS ARE EVERYWHERE!!! Trick or Treat?

        • The problem is forced multiculturalism, foreign ideas in our political system. Thru Obama people come to this country and become instant Americans. Problem is the country they left for reasons of, corruption, socialism, dictatorship, or whatever they seem to bring it with them, and think this country should be run the same way. And guaranteed thats in line with the way Obama thinks. Look around the world, all multicultural countrys are failing, riots, money problems, food problems, race problems. Remember Rome they were destroyed from within, from foreign ideas. Too many cooks in the kitchen does not work. Foreign intervention does not work. Thats why Obama uses deception, confusion, misdirection, and lies. This country should be ran by the same people that started this country. And to all u people that start accusing that Nazi shit thats not what im talking about. Look at Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, Japan, even Russia and China even though their communist, They dont have Multiculture problems. So what is with all you stupid dumbasses that voted for more of this Donkeyshit, you deserve everything this Assclown brings down on your head.

          • My comments above are not pointed at present company on this blog site.

          • You are right, except for one thing.  The immigration binge went on under republican and democratic leadership.  A lot of conservatives apparently slept through the Bush administration…  But to get to the point – and I have many foreign friends – I have concluded that the government brought in tens of millions of foreigners in a short period of time precisely to change the political landscape.  They wanted a large population of people who would accept anything from government, people who were already accustomed to serious corruption, tyranny, police state abuses, censorship, etc.  This has had the effect of normalizing these conditions and of diluting the American value system with outside perspectives.

        • Perhaps it is because the majority, 90% or so, do not fly, never have and never will, so they don’t care what you and I have to go through to travel. Those same 90% probably have never even been to an airport and may not even know where the nearest one is. America is a backward, uneducated shrinking corner of a big world. Most have no idea what is happening outside their small community and don’t care.

Polls prove what the organization wants it to prove. I could go to a part of Philly and poll the inhabitants and prove that they support cocaine as a legal drug, and another part that proves just the opposite.

Stupid Americans have been brainwashed to believe that ‘terrorists’ are lined up outside the US with all sorts of bombs, just waiting to put one under their beds. THAT is how Police States happen. Few know that the middle east is 5,000 miles from the Us and that they have no means to bomb the Us without Us CIA help.

        • Capitulating to this agregious abrogation of your 4th
amendment right to privacy is sheer lunacy.

People who submit to the TSA have forgotten their rights as citizens of these United States.

If you are not willing to stand up individually for your rights despite the consequences of doing so, you are part and party to the wholesale destruction of this once great nation.

It is up to us individually to begin the process of reclaiming our freedoms which have been systematically
destroyed over the course of the past two hundred years.

I don’t fly anymore, haven’t since 2008. Told my employer I don’t fly for business or pleasure because I believe the Constitution is a living thing and searching my person is a violation of my Fourth Amendment Right to Privacy.

Have you watered the Tree of Liberty lately?

        • There is always an option. DRIVE

        • WHO ARE THESE ONE-THIRD MONSTERS???

Volunteering for a body cavity search!

AND THEN 41% of Republicans and 34% of Democrats willing to be shocked???

HALLOWEEN IS EVERYDAY! SURROUNDED BY MONSTERS EVERYWHERE!!

They won’t stop until they are literally inside of you. Can you say exorcism? Of your bunghole?!

        • I find it unbelievable that, at least some portion of the people who are opposed to having their genitals touched, would be okay with a body cavity search. Either people don’t understand what a “cavity search” is, or there is a flaw in the survey.

I don’t see anyone saying “don’t touch my anus, but you may shove your hand in up to my colon…” I suspect people skimmed for, and reacted to ‘buzz words’ without fully understanding the questions.

For instance– “Given the recent reports concerning the threat posed by terrorists who plan to implant bombs within their own bodies” should’ve been left off of the question – “Given the recent reports concerning the threat posed by terrorists who plan to implant bombs within their own bodies, how willing, if at all, would you be to undergo a TSA body cavity search in order to fly?”

Mentioning “implant[ing] bombs within their own bodies” was what probably scared some people into an inaccurate answer.

      2. The constitution has been taking worse things than fingers in its rear for more than a decade.

        What’s another inspected butt hole?

        • What constitution? Think Supreme Court or Obama. There is an avalanche headed our way and it removes the constitution.
Prep and get ready for it, it will be one hell of a battle. Red Dawn is about to start.

          • DRD, the Constitution that YOU must enforce. I can’t bear to think Obama or Supreme Court, they are so far beneath me.

Sometimes its hard to enforce the Law against the organized crime family of the corp. Best to avoid them entirely.

            • GC, I agree with enforcing the constitution. Remember, the gov’t, the courts, law enforcement and yes even some of our military don’t abide by the constitution.
I also was making a statement with tongue in check. We are a minority in this country and splintered at that. Do I feel defeated? Nope, just a realist that we have one hell of a battle ahead of us.

Remember: If God be before me who can be against me?

Though we get thumbs down for it: This whole barrage of attacks against us is about removing Jesus from our country. What have they pushed to call Christmas? Holiday season.
Jesus said ” If you deny me before men, I will deny you before the Father.”.

      3. Look.

        This is stupid.

Once again, here is the solution:

There is a door for passengers to get on the plane.

There is a door for pilots to get on the plane.

There is NO DOOR for the pilots to get to the passenger compartment or vice versa. The pilots have a toilet and a mini-fridge and a goddamned 2″ thick titanium wall between themselves and the passengers.

        Hijack that, bitches.

Yes you can still blow up the plane. Good for you, you just wasted assloads of time and resources and planning to do 30 people. Good use of your time, ya morons.

        • If there is any time to use your pride…it is for this situation…not for bowing to foreign leaders…lmao.

          • Guy, it also appears that 2/3 of the passengers lost would accept a body cavity search, so they do not count as a loss.

        • Imagine blowing that plane up right as you are moving over a populated city…Lots of damage, no take over needed. Although I hate the TSA and am sick of their ridiculous shit, they are there for a reason. HOWEVER. I don’t think we need them anymore. If someone wants to blow u a plane, they can find a way to do it. TSA is just an excuse for something sinister.

          • As usual the govt. is fighting the last war. The next attack if there is one will be against the terminals and all the hundreds of people standing in line. If that happens the air travel business is dead as no one will ever fly again. It will be like Narita was years ago where no one could get near the terminal unless they rode in on a special bus. Baggae came later after being searched.

          • Ok that’s a fair point but I mean…

When they even did the Towers I was kind of like… “why? I mean… militarily what do you get from that?” The Pentagon… got it, makes sense.

I mean you’re going to have to train these people, spend months infiltrating them, then try to sneak a bomb onto a plane wich was already non-trivially difficult just by itself. Though I sould see where it was possible under the old system.

            But resource-wise?

These operations are not the easiest things to plan and execute. And you’re going to do it to take out a few people and crash a plane over a residential neighborhood, taking out a few more…

While this admittedly sucks for the victims I can’t fathom what’s in it for the bad guys. A few dozen civilian casualties with no critical infrastructure impacted whatsoever? I mean…

What the hell would be the point?

        • Well TheGuy you could work that further,

Over here we have a freedom loving plane, no searches, and the price is $$ good luck. Over here we have a simple metal detector scan plane and the tickets are $$$ and over here we have the full body cavity strip search plane for $$$$ which would you like to fly.

As one that doesn’t like to fly, doesn’t fly unless I absolutely freekin must I probably would have votef or the full body cavity search just to give infowars something to print and may angry brother the libertarian something to b&m about 🙂 I’m evil that way.

        • If the “official narrative” of 9/11 with respect to boxcutters and hijackers had even one milligram of truth to it…the TSA would still be irrelevant. The fact the “official conspiracy theory” is Alice-in-wonderland makes this all the less tolerable.

The TSA has NOTHING to do with the 911 FABLE. I seriously hope that everyone here has already figured this out.

          • Wait so do most people here believe 9/11 was an inside job? I try to avoid that because people point fingers at me and make funny faces whenever I bring it up like I am some type of freak.

            • I can’t speak for everyone here, but to answer your question I would wager the majority understand that 9/11 was without question “an inside job”. The planned impetus for the now never-ending-war-on-terror.

        • Here’s another solution: if ANY law-abiding (no violent felony convictions) citizen could be armed on the plane, then the would-be terrorists would know that any or all of the passengers could be armed and would take them down. Instead we went the other direction, when in fact there is NO WAY to 100% control other people and NO WAY to 100% make travel “safe”. Protecting ourselves is the best way to be protected.

MUCH LARGER, underlying issue: the Feds should not HAVE this control over us and our lives!!!!!!!!!!! We have capitulated a bit at a time and now are like slaves, begging for permission from our masters to please let us go somewhere, if we promise to follow all their little ruleses, please???

Seriously, WTF???!!! Any airline company should be able to accept any passenger they wish and transport them as they mutually agree upon.

I’m waiting for an airline company to step up and run a business as a business, rather than on the by-your-leave from all the kings men. Turning blue holding my breath, but it would be great to see.

So instead of arguing about which items the bear should or should not be allowed to touch, we coulda/woulda/shoulda just not let the bear thru the damn door and into the house in the first place. Now the issue is how the hell do we get the bloated thing out of our face and back into its place???!

      4. What a strange world we see developing here…

        • Off topic…

Be sure to stock some sprouts in your food pantry. In a crisis situation, if we couldn’t get to the grocery store, access to fresh fruits and vegetables would be one the first things that would not be available. This would be especially important if there was a crisis situation was in the winter months.

Our bodies need the plant enzymes to help digest food. Sprouts can be grown in 3-5 days. They are filled with plant enzymes and high in vitamins and fiber. Sprouts can be stored easily, as they take up very little space.

For older folks, the plant enzymes can be especially useful to help regulate their bowels.

Here is the website where I ordered sprouts.
          http://www.handypantry.com/sprouting-seed/alfalfa

A 5 lb. can (#10 size can) of organic alfalfa sprouts is $42.95 and has a shelf life of 10 yrs. plus – unopened. Smaller sizes cost less. (Many grocery stores also sell sprout seeds.)

They seem kind of expensive, but you only use 2 tablespoons to make a large container of sprouts. They expand to many times their size. I also bought a “sprouting seed sampler” of different kinds of sprouts, but haven’t tried them all yet.

“Organic alfalfa sprouts are beneficial in reducing symptoms of PMS and menopause, including hot flashes. Furthermore, they contain high concentrations of antioxidants, the body’s defense against the destruction of DNA which is the cause of aging. Alfalfa sprouts are abundant sources of vitamins A, B, C, E and K, the minerals calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. Also carotene, chlorophyll, amino acids and trace elements. They contain 35% protein. Organic Alfalfa seed can produce over ten times the seeds weight in sprouts, one pound of alfalfa seed produces 10-14 pounds of sprouts.”

          • ky mom: I have the 3 part mix from this mail order place too. (I used wide mouth pint jars for the two of us). Have you tried amaranth sprouts? We will probably stick to amaranth. We use in salads mainly. I also use powdered wheat grass everyday mixed with water.

          • @KY Mom:

            Again, good advice, thank you

            ..be safe….lots of hugs…BA.

        • I think we need a much less passive/submissive response to this, than “What a strange world we see developing here”.

      5. “Surprisingly given their traditional distrust of big government, 60% of Republicans thought it reasonable compared to 64% of Democrats and 46% of Independents.”

        Not surprising at all.

        Republicans INVENTED the terrorist boogeyman.

      6. I don’t fly…..I stay home and PREP!!!!
        KEEP PREPPIN’

      7. And another third would PAY TSA to do the search.

        • yea, the republicans

      8. GTFOOH

This is getting beyond crazy. Letting someone search your rectum; to fly? Hell you have to threaten me with cancer to get me to even think about that.

What the hell have people become? Are they out of their minds?

Maybe the 80s rock band DEVO was correct and we’re evolving backward. Imagine waking from a coma after 40 years and flying for the first time post coma and hearing, “Ok to board the plane get in that line, drop your pants, bend over and spread em”.

        Absolutely nuts.

        • “Absolutely nuts.”

          Uh… no. That’s a somewhat different inspection.

      9. I have been doing my internship at a mental health facility. I have been working with patients who come from all walks of life including doctors, lawyers, and teachers. The one common theme that I keep seeing and that I’m being told by the patients is that they just react to things. They no longer have a thought process, its just pure reaction, which is usually a negative reaction. Most people live such fast paced lives that they no longer take the time to look at the situation and process what is happening. A lot of people are not aware of their surroundings and all they are concerned about is getting from point A to point B. Its really scary to see people literally being herded through their lives.

        • I don’t like the way the herd mentality has ended (literally). “Ok, walk over there, read the sign Work Will Set You Free, disrobe it’s time to get a shower”.

        • Sounds like a lot of people I work with are your patients.

        • Kollege Kid, you are so far ahead of the average American in understanding this you’re in a different galaxy. People are, for the most part, no longer “considering” things and then judging the wisdom or morality of agreeing. The propaganda has so paralyzed their reasoning power they simple react as you describe, i.e., “I have to fly to see mom. The TSA says I can’t fly unless I let them manhandle my scrotum or walk through a microwave so they can see me naked. I will let the TSA manhandle my scrotum and see me naked.”

That’s the sum of it. Not 1 in 10 steps back and says, what the hell is going on when a country founded by rebels puts up with a government that commands this?

I think it really is down to individual prepping. If you’re in the political process, if you’re writing your senator, if you’re involved in your country Republicrat organization, you’ve drunk the Kool-Aid. There is no salvation in that direction.

Pull the motherfucker down. That’s the only way it’s going to get fixed. Or die trying.

      10. Who can afford to fly?

        • In answer to my own question: Only those who have no dignity or honor.

        • For a long trip flying is cheaper by far than driving. Pain in the ass sometimes but how long until TSA has control of the roads? They have already set up checkpoints on I-40 and at various train and bus terminals.

      11. Wow, nearly 1/3 think undergoing a body cavity search by the TSA to fly on a plane is … ok. This shows the people are being desensitized and trained.

This is not a good sign. Unfortunately, our country is on a path to more government control in the months and years to follow. This reminds me of nazi Germany.

“History does not repeat itself, but it rhymes.”
        -Mark Twain

        • Excellent Mark Twain quote KY Mom. Thanks.

        • if it is there will be many ww2 german traitors(Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg,Dr. Carl Goerdeler,Ludwig Beck) who will take out our threat.

      12. Insane. This is legalised sexual assault.

Have the respondants considered their children and elderly parents may be amongst the violated?

Humans are devolving – it’s official.

The perverts have taken over the asylum. Modesty and Decency are no more, Common sense was last seen on a sail boat somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle . . . . .

And in other news, tptb work feverishly to destabilise our society and unleash unimaginable violence and chaos to our lives.

        • lonelonmum: +10

      13. One third? Yeah probably so. A third of the country re-elected Barry so they obviously LIKE takin’ it in the rear.

      14. Was this survey taken in san fancisco

it may have skewed the results.

        i’m just sayin’

      15. And they’re not even buying me dinner afterwards?

        They can count me out.

        • But they will offer you some nuts

          sorry couldn’t help myself

          • ROFL!! Well said Stepabove 🙂

          • You get a free finger wave on the way out and a free one on the way back. WOW! That is something to look forward to. A Free pillow to sit on too.

            ROFLMAO.

        • thought you were a cheap date?

        • Just don’t tell me you love me

      16. I get a pat down now do to the fact I don’t want to be radiated. I would never bend over for any man, and would have to take a new job if it came to cavity searches!

      17. Suppose we should get used to it.

We do get four more years of bending over and getting it from behind

        • It’ll probably be a frontal assault now—it’s his last term in office, ya know and anything goes.

      18. Never Surrender!

      19. if I cant drive there, I wont go.

Hell, I went to a court house the other day to do some title research work and I had to leave my cell with the sheriffs officers at the door. Then I had to remove my boots, belt and empty all pockets and walk through the metal detector just to go to the records room.
        police State anyone?????

        • I hope they build a bridge to Ireland soon damn it. My wife wants to go at least once every 5 years.

        • Colorado Springs court house is just like that down here. its terrible.

        • here they do the same but employees walk around, arent the disgrunteled employees the ones to watch out for?

        • Took your cell phone ?

Why ? So you can’t record How you are treated.

        • Same here, and we live on an island in Puget Sound.
          I was dumbfounded.

          • Whidbey?

        • They started this 5-6 years ago at the courthouse….aint been in there since….told the sheriff to count me out for jury duty too as I refuse to set foot in their “feifdom”…same with flying…was 40 the first time I flew….wont ever again…go to town twice a month “if” I have to….they can count this hillbilly out on any participation in their so called society!

        • i also have to hit the courthouses for work…today, i said something to the “guard” running the xray machine…” so, you got cancer yet from sitting there all day next to that deathtrap?”…his answer was just a blank stare…God, i love Amerika…land of the sheeple and home of the stupid

      20. I usually have to pay extra for that.

      21. We’ll be gladly accepting a lot worse in the future. All in the name of security, while the real danger is from our own gubment! I wonder when speaking ill of the gubment will be outlawed. And, will we ever say enough? I swear I’ll take a train, ship or drive before I submit to these fuckers! I stand ready to do my part! Are you?

        I

        • If you take a train or a ship, you will submit.

      22. No way. I’m not flying. My wife isn’t either.

      23. Once the TSA was formed I banned them and ALL air travel. I’ll drive if need be than put up with that bullshit.

      24. I sorry, I would not believe Alex Jones if he told me that the sun sets in the west.

        • I am pretty sure, that means you aren’t the sharpest tack in the box. On other subjects, trust but verify. Where the sun sets is (according to common knowledge) in the west. Philosophically speaking and literally speaking sometimes get mixed together though, so perhaps you are the sharpest tack, in which case if you can verify that happenstance, I would stand corrected.

      25. choices, stick a mag light up my but or tickle my nuts, sometimes you just gotta be gay.( I would submit to this with a hot brunette only, in a private room)

Now, I dont fly and hope never to have to, they lost this paying customer about five years ago, was the last time that I flew.

This is your future, get used to it, they will eventually do theese things at at all the new road blocks that will be in place in a few years, and the more this goes on the more things they will initiate on us,sheeeeeeeeeeeeple, bahahahahahahah

And by the way, I wrote in vote for Ron Paul.

        • “And by the way, I wrote in vote for Ron Paul”

In other words you voted for Obama.

          • I like it. Big ones with a serving of truth.

      26. Absolutely not! No way in hell. Flying now is such nonsense, i avoid it at all costs. I
Does TSA have a search warrent? No? Because a search warrent has to be signed by a judge and probable cause is needed. Get a warrent then we will talk, other wise it sexual assault.

      27. What’s craziest:

        A. TSA pat-downs
        B. Half the voters elected Obama for a second term
        C. NDAA w/ indefinate detention

        • B, Definitely!!!

        • D. ALL OF THE ABOVE.

      28. I won’t fly.

      29. When my job requires me to travel via aircraft, we do it on military aircraft. No searches like the TSA does. Hell, my last flight I carried my knife in my pocket. Otherwise, I don’t fly.

        • But you’re a prepper be careful they don’t strand you butt in Hawaii

          • True.

          • i can think of worse places to be stranded…LOL

        • NALO flights are quite nice. Only problem is they generally end up in out of the way places at the airports and getting ground transport is a pain.

      30. Oh gee sorry Mr TSA man. I forgot to take a shower and wipe for the last 3 days but sure, go ahead…

        • And I had Taco Bell

      31. You have got to be kidding. Americans have become the most oppressed, pathetic nation on the planet. TSA recruits paedophiles and wanna be nazis. What happened? Is the whole country that gutless? The terrorists are running the country boys and girls…and the rest of the world hates you because you allow it. Maybe everybody who wants to submit should just bend over and like have a big daisy chain… What a bunch of gutless clone mofos!

      32. Want to stop this. It is all about MONEY, shut them down nobody fly’s(unless for a medical reason). A week or two of that and thing will change.

      33. My solution would be to manufacture a chamber that is bullet/explosive proof, each person walks in, the door closes and a small electrical charge/shock is set off inside and sent through the persons body, which in turn would set off any bomb that this person was caring in them or on them. Problem solved.

No trials so your not wasting the taxpayers money on having to house them.

As for those that have pace makers, or any other type of mental in their body that would cause them harm then it would be unfortunate to have to go through a body scan or pat down. Just my opinion.

But there is no way in HELL I would submit to a cavity searwouldn’tuld’nt be flying for sure.

        • Sorry the last sentence was soppose to be – But there is no way in Hell I would submit to a cavity search, I wouldn’t be flying for sure.

      34. YES, you can avoid flying. There are employment positions that people can choose other than having to fly. You can drive or take the train or even bus to get somewhere. Forget about intenrational travel I guess. TSA looks for gremlins everywhere, even on elderly people and very young children. Can some terrorist use a dupe to transport a bomb, yes, is it likely? Not really. The torment that TSA puts people through is way overboard, and I truly believe TSA enjoys intimidating people. Take the train.

        • “YES, you can avoid flying.”

Screw that. I’m not giving up going to the mountains of colorado, tahoe or north carolina because some guvment official thinks he can legally give me a reach around.

Avoiding the TSA by staying home is the government controlling you just as much as they do in an airport. if you think the government wont come right into your house if they deem it neccessary, youre delusional.

I’m looking for someone to start lawyering up and taking the TSA to the supreme court. even if that goes down, it’ll wake up a lot of people that think theyre still living in the land of the free and maybe get them to start thinking.

          • you’re not even getting the courtesy of a reach around—you are just getting reamed.

          • Better find some lawyer to take it to the Supreme Court fast – before Obama and Jarret install the next 2 supremes. This country and it’s constitution will be a mere footnote in history after that

      35. When 1/3 of a population exhibits these traits, it is no longer viable, and likely headed toward extinction.

      36. I haven’t flown since they stopped letting me carry my pocket knife.

      37. Do the congress members have to bend over? If they do then they need to check Senator Feinstein real close because she may have a HI CAP AK MAG hidden. One never knows.

        • they’d have to strap a board to their ass to keep from falling in…

      38. So if they dressed the TSA agents in white, they would charge for a colonoscopy?

      39. So 1/3 of those polled like it in the butt?

      40. When they ask if they can probe your asshole…

SHOOT THE FAG IN THE FACE!

        • Take a couple big gulps of Milk of Mag before you go. This will convince them cavity searches are not that good of an idea.

      41. One might wonder just how many bombs have been found in the past several years of air travel – – there seems to be searches for nothing that has ever been found. Is this all for show?

      42. We use planes, trains and cars to go vast distances. We have lasers that can burn through steel. HARRP to control the weather for crying out loud. Thats crazy……..we are some smart mofos., but we need fingers to check assholes for bombs.

      43. They only do the cavity search on us Americans. They won’t do it to the terrorist bc they are liable to blow themselves up. Never had a complaint by an Arab.

      44. So…then if cavity searchs (plural, not just for the female gender) would be the standard, what about children?….
And since a medical procedure can restore “virginity”
(the replacement of the membrane) then will TSA have to search where in a female child with an intact …….?
The idea is to force everyone through the machine, that way they can also scan your chip!….yes, it’s coming….
Remember, it’s for your own safety!

      45. “A Man or Woman who gives up their Natural Born Freedoms for ZOG CIA FEDGOV FALSE-FAG INITIATED Black Jack Booted DHS Gestapo Security Deserve Neither !!!”

I’m past the point of caring What the 96% Sheeple are accepting from their WANNA-BE Dicktator NWO U.N. ZOG FREEMASON FEDGOV STATEGOV … and now find myself transforming into a 3% Percenter FREEMAN PATRIOT with the MURDEROUS intent to FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE to Protect my Natural Born FREEMAN Rights TO FREEDOM as a INDIVIDUAL Human Being !!!

Puck the 96% Tax Debt Slave Sheeple they deserve what the NWO U.N. ZOG CIA FBI IS DOING TO THEM .

THE “RULE OF DARWINISM” IS NOW IN EFFECT – FIGHT or DIE !!!

        THE CHOICE IS YOURS !!!

        ~N.O. ;0p

        • 3% of AmeriKa Population = 9,3000,000 FIGHTIN’ FREEDOM LOVERS !!!

          310,000,000 *.03 = 9,3000,000

      46. OK y’all. Here’s how to put a stop to this… First, whenever flying, go commando. When they send you to get the testes probed, unzip halfway and partially reveal Mr. Johnson and the Boys.

When they try to arrest you for indecent exposure, accuse the perv TSA guy of exploiting an accidentally half-down fly when he sweeps his paws around that area, then file charges for aggravated sexual battery. Do not answer any questions, state that you will only speak to your attorney, you are filing charges, and then STFU. You’ll miss your flight, but you’ll make CNN and stir the pot. We have to keep stirring the pot.

      47. As I have been saying for a long time now, next thing you know people will have to fly naked with their hands and feet locked down. Why, someone could choke another person with a sock! Or even their hands! They could stab someone with a fork. Clothes are dangerous! They could hand out paper hospital robes that close with velcro. It really isn’t that far-fetched. I can see it happening.

        • isn’t that how they brought african slaves here, chained like so, in the belly of ships?

      48. If you wear your uniform you get “special treatment”.

      49. I simply drive where I want to. If the destination requires flight, I don’t need to go.

      50. Soon it will be would you mind if I stick this hard cock up your ass after your cavity search, and I am sure there are a good percentage that would like that offer. I am laughing my ass off at the sheepish spirit of people soon it will be off to the slaughter house, they will have to feed these creatures once the financial collapse happens somehow. 🙂 bbbaaaaaaa

      51. What I don’t see mentioned by the commenters on this mostly Republican site is that a higher percentage of “Rs” were in favor of these laws than “Ds”. I guess Republicans like their freedoms less than Democrats. Damn sheep.

        • Oh no, JRS, we caught that — however, most of us don’t identify with either party and we already know that Republicans would let you do a cavity search if there was money in it for them and their cronies could get a “feel.” Democrats would let you do a cavity search for a SNAP card and a free phone.

      52. For the sake of efficiency with socialized medicine maybe a prostrate exam can be incorporated with a cavity search.

Here is a bit of food for thought. Homosexuals have every right to be employed as a TSA screener. That “admiring glance” and little smile from the TSA screener makes the uncomfortable unbearable.

At what point do States Secede from The Union and what group of States is the most likely to do so? I just can’t see a Western / Southern Red State sitting by while some UN treaty authorizes the confiscation of the citizens personal firearms and forces people to submit to cavity searches.

“May you live in interesting times”. Personally I prefer boring and relaxed.

      53. I was recently copied a letter delivered to another government, which argued (in part) that “…the right to travel is expressly protected by the Fourth Geneva Convention. The right to free expression, which by definition includes exposure to all perspectives, is also protected by various international human rights treaties including the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. Only totalitarian regimes refuse to allow their population to be exposed to the peaceful expression of all sides of political controversies.”

Travel is also a RIGHT guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution. And only totalitarian regimes fear the free and unfettered travel of its own citizens. This government fears the free and unfettered travel of its own citizens. Ergo…

      54. Looks like “we the people” are just begging for 24/7 surveillance so why does a body cavity search seem inappropriate now? Good Gawd….

Coming soon to a St. Petersburg neighborhood near you: an armored truck that you cannot miss and that cannot miss you, at least not with the four cameras mounted behind bullet-resistant glass, pointed in all four directions.

The exterior is wrapped in an industrial design featuring very large eyeballs and the words “St. Petersburg Police,” all in the department’s green and gold colors.

“This is exactly what I wanted,” city council member Karl Nurse declared, after watching Major Jorges Sotolongo pull up the cameras images on an iPad, “It’s high profile enough you put it in a drug location or a prostitution location and it will discourage the customers from coming, they’ll just keep moving.”

“That is what the police department has in mind,” Chief Chuck Harmon told a city council committee Thursday, assuring council members the privacy of law-abiding citizens has been considered.

“The real positive for me is the visibility of the thing…This is meant to be a broad, right in your face: Don’t do what you’re doing,” Harmon said. “We didn’t want this thing parked in somebody’s front yard thinking that we’re shooting into someone’s bedroom window…It’s really meant look to the exterior activity going on around buildings, not into buildings.”

Deployment is another unresolved detail. After Thursday’s display at city hall, it was to be parked at the intersection of 34th Street and 1st Avenue South. The chief told council members to email him with any ideas, with the goal of using the truck throughout the city.

Council members think the overt presence will be appreciated by most residents.

“I would expect that more than 90 percent of them will say, ‘well, when can you bring it into my neighborhood?’ ” Nurse predicted.

The retired armored truck was donated to the city in January, after which about $30,000 was spent refurbishing and equipping it. (Source at myfoxtampabay dot com)

      55. We have been warned!

“If tyranny and oppression come to this land it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy.”

It is a universal truth that the loss of liberty at home is to be charged to the provisions against danger, real or pretended, from abroad.

“I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations.”

The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home.

        ― James Madison

      56. i’m ok with cavity search by blonde female if she gives me a reach around and a kiss

      57. First off, who did they poll? Sounds like they asked a bunch of non travellers with a bias towards government intervention. Professional travellers mostly realize that the TSA and airport “checks” do nothing to ensure afety and security of passengers. Good old intelligence and police work are what stop terrorist plots.

Secondly, the article states that people object ot TSA agents fondling genitalia but would accept a body cavity search… REALLY!!!

Finally, if terrorist thought that someone, or possibly multiple somones would take them out if they tried to hijack or threaten a plane, they would be inclined to think again. As it stands they know they have a plane load of defenseless sheep available for slaughter to advance their cause. What’s for them to think about now.

Tyranny in the name of security is not much different than terrorism.

People who would trade freedom for security deserve neither.

      58. Authority always wins because people think it only applies to their neighbors.

      59. I did not see any poll on the TSA’s who was it geared to? I think the TSA is a joke, most if not all of the TSA’s have some kind of police record and it seems they do not get screen ahead of time or checked oute and yet they get hired for this. How many petafils work for the TSA and get off cooping a free feel. JOKE. Just more GOVERNMENT BS. The other joke is those walk in X-ray machines, light yourself up for Chritmas. (ooppss Is Christmas a racial work now also).

      60. My business required me to fly 3 or 4 times a month. When they started screening at the airports I fired 9 employees & closed the business down. I now repair motorcycles for a living & don’t ever fly.

      61. My guess is our undereducated populace has no real clue what a full cavity search is – OMG – otherwise spelled RAPE.

      62. With all these disenters, it surprises me that no one has mentioned EL Al,the Israeli airline. EL AL interogates every passenger fully to establish their credentials. They do NOT conduct body searches.
This is in a country with obvious security concerns!

They have NEVER had a hijacking. The lesson is obvious:
Hire some of their experts to revamp our TSA. Find out
what is in the person’s mind and you learn a LOT…

      63. How many people want to say to their parents and friends, “I touch men and little boys through their clothing for money” or “I touch women and little girls through their clothing for money” ??!!

      64. 1/3 agree to body cavity searches? Bet they are ALL Obama voters. The crazies are running the asylum.

        • With that train of thought probably 10% of the population being homosexual not only agree but would be looking forward to it. Once you subtract that group from the percentage your down to 20%.

      65. America as you understood it is over.

Turn the grid off for six months. We can rebuild after the die-off.

      66. Going to Las-Vegas in a few days to see my granddaughters. It will be the last time i’ll make this trip.I don’t know how i’m going to deal with the stasi at the airport.Guess i’ll eat a clove of garlic.Smile and speak very slowly to the mutant t.s.a. agent.Keeping as calm as I can.If you’d like to see where we’re headed.I suggest you view a film called. The Lives of Others. You can find it at your local library.Rome is burning. And our dear leader barack “nero”obama is doing his fiddle solo.Or maybe he’s simply playing with him self.I’m not quite sure. One thing I am sure of.I’m not very good at grabbing my ankles.Sempers.

      67. This is insane. As a general rule I think I lean more Democratic then Republican but then there are some things where I just don’t get it and would be leaning way over to conservative Republican. This is one of those cases, another is the death penalty (some people just don’t deserve to be kept alive). I think we have a right to own weapons to protect us.But at the same time I don’t really think we need weapons that have high shooting capacity. I know most others on this site will disagree with me and I fully respect your opinion I just don’t fully agree. I think we have a right to be prepared for a disaster cause God knows the government isn’t going to save us. It seems however every time I see another crazy suggestion that will do nothing to help anyone other then having a government babysitter I lean a little further in a different direction.

I don’t fly as a rule and I can say without a doubt there is no where I want to fly to that I would be willing to subject myself or my family to sexual abuse from TSA agents who barely have the IQ of a peanut. I will just keep on driving the scenery can be lovely on the old highways.
I am tired I may have rambled if so I am sorry.

      68. Why do you people not want to have safer airports? Are you serious? i actually wouldnt mind them being on the highway and make them safer also.

We havent had an incident since 9/11 because of them. I bet you are the same people that believe that Obama is ruining this country! LOL. I hope Obama rewrites the constitution to allow a 20 year term!

        • Perhaps A-Real-American like you should read the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights.

          The 4th Amendment states:

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Searches conducted at the United States border or the equivalent of the border (such as an international airport) may be conducted without a warrant or probable cause subject to the “border-search” exception. Most border searches may be conducted entirely at random, without any level of suspicion, pursuant to U.S. Customs and Border Protection plenary search authority. However, searches that intrude upon a traveler’s personal dignity and privacy interests, such as strip and body cavity searches, must be supported by reasonable suspicion.

As for President Obama ammending the constitution, please, read Article V of the Constitution which spells out the process by which amendments can be proposed and ratified.

In the U.S. Congress, both the House of Representatives and the Senate approve by a two-thirds super majority vote, a joint resolution amending the Constitution. Amendments so approved do not require the signature of the President of the United States and are sent directly to the states for ratification.

As for your LOL, did you tell yourself a joke or were you laughing at your ignorance on display?

        • How dare you call yourself a Real-American. you are too clueless to even know what that term means. You think TSA keeps us safe? You are the real joke. Here’s just a thought, the government know everything about you, Why do they need to grope you at an airport with all this information superiority? Think about that while standing in line waiting to be radiated and groped.

      69. If people were smart , they would just boycott flying . Business has a lot of power that way ……power if they would only use it . This isnt the 1960’s anymore , almost all business can be handled through technology rather than face to face .

      70. airlines don’t make any money anyways!

      71. Americans are spoiled by the very idea of convenience. They would eat dung to be able to fly. Hell, they re-elected a damn communist. Enjoy your full body cavity searches, idiots. You all would have made great Nazis.

      72. The whole purpose of the TSA is to incrementally get citizens to accept more and more government interventions into their lives. The “leaders” in Wash DC want to have complete control of all people living in the USA. They treat us like the frog sitting a pan of water on a stove. Increase the water’s temp at just the right rate and the frog “agrees” to boil since it is not aware of its impending death. That’s why we must strongly resist the government’s movement to tyranny. First, you must sensitize yourself to what is really going on and not indulge in denial, which is what a lot peeps are apparently doing. Read the daily news on Information Clearing House, InfoWars, Alternet, etc.. You only get censored “news” on the five TV networks. CNN seems especially corrupt.

      73. With the proper equipment and ingredients, you can
make homemade pizza that tastes a thousand times better than what you’ll find at your favorite restaurant. Just be sure to sprinkle the bottom with cornmeal so the pizza will slide easier and pull the oven rack out so you aren’t likely to
get injured while sliding it onto the pizza stone. That is,
until I thought about making a pizza using my cast iron skillet.
