Nothing Can Stop It: “An Economic Collapse that is Going to be Worse than 1929” *Video*

by | Jul 16, 2013 | Headline News, Karl Denninger | 302 comments

Before anybody in America ever cared about AIG, credit markets or bailouts, Karl Denninger had warned that the fuse was burning and had “gone inside the box.” This was in September of 2008, about a month before the bottom fell out of global markets and the giant kaboom was heard ’round the world. He had repeatedly sounded the alarm. A “credit event” was coming, and it couldn’t be stopped. No one listened.

The aftermath of the credit detonation that followed will go down in history as one of the most severe economic crises since the Great Depression.

Now, nearly 5 years on, we’re right back to where we started. In fact, we’re much worse off than ever before and in all likelihood we’re going to experience an event so severe it’ll make the Great Depression look like a picnic.

The time is fast approaching when the US government, the Federal Reserve and private banking conglomerates lose control of the entire system. When that occurs, confidence by the public, as well as our foreign creditors, will be lost.

And according to Karl Denninger, the math says it’s going to happen within two years time.

Employers are cutting full-time employees back to part-time to avoid the requirement of providing health insurance under Obama Care.  Trader Karl Denninger says, “As the Obama Administration runs against the economic reality of what they passed, they are now trying to find ways to dodge it. . . .The Obama Administration’s reaction to this has been to unilaterally, and by the way illegally, put off the imposition of mandate.”

This is not going to save the teetering economy as Denninger contends, “Bernanke has lost control of the bond market and, in general, his policy. . . . The reality is the Fed is not in charge, and when that confidence level breaks, you are going to see all hell break loose.”

Denninger goes on to predict, We are setting up for a collapse that is going to be worse than 1929, and it’s going to come sometime within the next two years.  It could come as soon as the next couple of months, but it is going to happen, and there’s nothing that is going to stop it.

Denninger and many others who had warned us what was coming were right on target with their forecasts. They’re warning us again.

We can bury our heads in the sand.

We can hope for change.

We can pretend that the people in Washington and Wall Street have our best interests at heart.

None of it will help. The math is clear. The system is broken.

The pain is coming.

You’d better be getting prepared for it, because the end game is 100% guaranteed.

A lot of people keep saying it and yet the deniers continue to live in denial. We’re set up for the perfect storm and no matter how smart you think the scumbags are running this mess, just remember, greed, ambition, hubris, arrogance and superego all overrule their cleverness at rigging the markets. This crap is ripe for collapse.

Worse than 1929? DUH. There is about 3 times as many people, much less resources to go around from energy to clean fresh water to food and arable land. More competetion means that the fight for what is left will be brutal. This is coming from the raw material standpoint.

When you think about the rampant evil and the means at which modern technology has made it far easier for the evil to be that much more wicked and completely far reaching, we are going to be F’ed, again with a big fat capital F. Those that have failed to prepare and listen to their idiot congressperson or worse BO, and the MSM will suffer and then die hard. That is what happens when your care baskets from restaurants, the supermarket and whenever else food and necessities is no more. People have become infant birds, and without mama or pappa bird to feed them vomitting up predigested food, they become ant bait. Something for the non-prepper to think about, becoming food for someone else to consume like a rat after everything collapses for whatever reason from the economy to war to a pandemic to natural disasters, whatever. Non-prepper = ant food.

This, in a nutshell, is why I have been prepping so hard, no matter what my family thinks about it. My husband is very anti prepping, he says that the Bible speaks out about it.

I have stuff hidden in every nook and cranny of our house. I figure that one day he will thank me for it.

He’s not stupid. When Superstorm Sandy rolled through and we were without power for about two weeks, we lived on my stash. At this point I think he believes that if he continues not to see it, it doesn’t exist. LOL

                @Prepped in CT,
“the Bible speaks out about it”? as in speaks out against prepping? You hang in there, Prov. 6:6-9, 10:5, 30:24-25, Eccl. 11:2 (NASB), I REALLY like this particular verse as it is “don’t put all of your eggs in one basket, Prov. 21:20 (NIV)

The Bible says it is WISE to prepare and that those who don’t listen and refuse to prepare are fools. My favorite concerning prepping is the story of the virgins and the lamp oil. braveheart

Noah was the best prepper ever! It is in the Bible.

Of course, Noah had 100 years to prep and no NSA snooping on him, no big government regulations to overcome, etc. Normalcy bias, however, society had far worse than ours ever could, considering that there were no catastrophic weather events to that point.

Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah’s Ark

                  ONE: Don’t miss the boat.

TWO: Remember that we are all in the same boat.

THREE: Plan ahead. It wasn’t raining when Noah built the Ark.

FOUR: Stay fit. When you’re 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big.

FIVE: Don’t listen to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.

SIX: Build your future on high ground.

SEVEN: For safety’s sake, travel in pairs.

EIGHT: Speed isn’t always an advantage. The snails were on board with the cheetahs.

NINE: When you’re stressed, float awhile.

TEN: Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.

ELEVEN: No matter the storm, when you are with God, there’s always a rainbow waiting.

@ Prepped in CT and braveheart. Superstorm Sandy is now regarded as a once in 700 year event. The mega strike slip earthquake last year, largest one ever recorded, was a once in 2000 year event. The 2.3 mile wide tornado a couple of months ago was considered a once in 200 year event. Just last month there was the largest deep focus quake ever recored and they considered that a once in 100 year event. Same goes true with the rock that blew up over Russia a few months ago and shattered everyone’s windows. The Japanese earthquake 2 years ago was the largest Japan earthquake ever recorded and considered an once in 500 year event. Some the the recent flooding in different parts of the world are considered once in 5000 year events. The largest radiation storm ever recored a couple of months ago had JustOneGuy amazed.

Sure are having a lot of once in several hundred or several thousand years events in the past few months to 2 years ago. Forgetting about the royal mess of the human civilization and only concentrating on the geophysical events, this should be enough alone for everyone to put something away. I mean these people are not even putting away anything for a power outage. There is no excuse when a person has extra money to not provide emergency needs for their family, no excuse. Oh the flies are going to feast on the non preppers in the trillions.

                • braveheart

Be Informed, it was mrs. braveheart who sold me on the idea of prepping back in the 70s. Living in FL, you have to be the biggest fool not to prepare for the hurricanes and so forth since FL is such a disaster-prone state. I was a prepper before the word was even invented and I have never regretted it for 1 minute. since I’ve never used credit for anything in my whole life, I’ve always been able to save money to buy the things I needed to help me survive any adverse situation. I’ve been through power outages, tornados, hurricanes, even burned out of a mobile home after moving back to TN from FL in 82 and came out of all those situations smelling like a rose. I’ve even bought every vehicle I’ve ever had with cash; never wanted a stinking car note. Judging from what I’ve seen other people go through over the years, you have to sacrifice too much when you go into debt on something. That’s one type of stress I don’t have in my life and refuse to have. I refuse to live worrying about a good credit history or good credit score. If I had ever been in debt on something, I wouldn’t be able to do more than half of the prepping I do nowadays. F#$% credit! I don’t need it. what I really need are all the supplies I can get before TSHTF and that’s all I’m focusing on. that and staying alive, of course. Nothing else matters at this stage of the game. Since I only have myself to provide for, that makes it easier. braveheart

@BI add to your list the once-in-500-year flood nashville had in may a few years ago.

My husband is very anti prepping, he says that the Bible speaks out about it.

                It does prepped in ct:
I Timothy 5:8….Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
                🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

                • Tom T

Is that not the opposite of anti prepping? Seems that if you are to help provide for your family and your relatives/or neighbors prepping is the way to do it. This verse actually supports prepping not just for yourself but for others? I thought that what prepping is about since no man is an island and when a SHTF scenario occurs, you will need those around you for defensive purposes. I live way out in the woods and the neighbors I do have most do some prepping as well with a few that have the “it can’t happen here” mentality. You try to help them as best you can.

              • lower40

that is one of my farvorites also ,and when asked by the foolish virgins for part of there oil ,they were denied lest it jeprodized there own lives

              • Stickman

I’m in the same situation “Prepped in CT says”. My wife thought I was a fear mongering paranoid loon when I first started prepping. Well, I knew I would lose her if she was aware of the intensity of how I wanted to prep.

But I will lose her AND my daughter if what I fear could happen does happen. She’s not aware of 99% of stuff I have put together. Wish it didn’t have to be that way. I’ll do what I have to do to make sure my family is safe which includes preparing for something that may never occur.

I too figure that one day she may thank me.

            • braveheart

Be Informed, once again you’re right on target. Occasionally, I advise people to look in the archives for your article “How Horrific Will It Be For The Nonprepper?” from 5-12-12. That article really spells it out in great detail. The nonpreppers are the ones that will be f#$%ed with a capital F. I think most, if not all, of us preppers will make it. In the last chapter of “One Second After”, it was estimated that 1 year after the EMP hit that only 30,000,000 people were left alive in the US out of a pre-EMP population of 300,000,000+ and that was only an estimate. In a real world EMP scenario, I would be surprised if more than 10,000,000 of us survive 1 year after the event. Regardless of what happens, I dread it. To call it ugly would be an understatement. braveheart

                I agree

                • Ryback

The best way to develop your survival mindset after your in a situation is by mentally accepting your predicament. This does not mean giving up the fight or the will to live. Nor does it mean giving up on escaping from your current situation. It simply means adjusting your mental state to your current environment and accepting it for what it is at that place and time. When you boil it all down to facts and logic, you’re ether going to live or die, so your only reasonable choice is to accept the situation for what it is, get past the fear of the unknown, and allow your mind and body the freedom to survive.

              • De Oppressor Liber

EMP event like that of One Second After is an extinction event. There are no plans in place to accomodate the on site cooling ponds at our nuclear power plants. Fukishima alone may do it over time. It is spewing into the ocean every second.

                Your comment is so true!

here in London events like the Lee Rigby murder (google it, years back I lived on the street where it happened, & it’s never been posh but it was an OK place to live iykwim), or a close friend getting jumped by 3 white fools last week, again in an area that I remember being alright, have made me realise just how close to insanity we really are.

(I mentioned the race of the attackers just to help make it clear to people that wanton violent wickedness occurs within all groups once civilisation starts crumbling. Right mindedness is what counts and finding individuals with an iota of common sense gets harder every day it seems to me. None of us can at this point, afford to get lulled into a false sense of security!).

We’ve now found and put an offer in on our haven from the big city. I’m just hoping and praying nothing happens to the banking system during the two months it takes here in the UK for a property purchase to proceed through all the legal hoops.

If my oft mentioned theory that the “big bank collapse” is planned for winter as riots are a traditionally summer activity then I believe we’ll have got out in the nick of time as if the Titanic doesn’t sink this winter it will in 2014.

My big worry is the black swan, as even the elites can’t predict all eventualities and things are getting closer to the edge daily. In a country with a welfare system as generous the UK’s, food banks should not be growing at an exponential rate. The cracks are starting to show, even before our new “Universal Credit” welfare system comes into full operation in October. It is my belief that this is our UK equivalent to your “Obama care”, and enough has been said on that one for me not to need to reiterate the risks.

That’s just it right there. The trick is that the collapse they designed has gone out of control like Frankenstein’s monster. They design a controlled collapse to hoard more resources, not to bring down the entire system. They are trying to manage the unmanageable and because they’re so arrogant, over-confident and blinded with sheer hubris, they think it is actually within their control. Every fiat monkey in history thought they were smarter than Newton’s four laws of Thermodynamics too and found out they are not exempt from the laws of physics. These monkeys will be no better.

“There are many here amongst us, who feel that life is but a joke.”

The dice are loaded, the wheel is rigged and the deck of cards is ‘stacked’ against you in the ‘game-of-life’. It’s a clear-cut, classic case of the “Golden-Rule” in action here boys & girls; those who have all of the gold and other assorted forms of wealth are the ‘anointed ones’ who get to make all the rules. Please believe me when I tell you that the rules that the PTB make-up will NEVER work in favor of the average man or woman; it isn’t in their best interest.

Realistic parents are reluctantly informing their children that perhaps life here in our once great country WILL NOT hold the same chances and opportunities for them that previous generations enjoyed.

You may still occasionally hear what you hope may be faint echoes of the music; but it ain’t so boys and girls. The music up and died some time ago. God Bless & good luck, we’re going to need all the help that we can get!

            • Cowdoc

The powers to be don’t have to do anything when the SHTF except stand back and let the hoards attempt to take the preppers supplies and the two side fight it out. Most likely they will overwhelm the preppers by sheer numbers. Then the authorities will step in with food to placate the hoard if they follow orders which they will do. With no food in the stores and no gasoline or electricity or clean water, this will all play out in 4-6 weeks. You don’t need to store much food unless you are going to feed everyone that comes to your house. If you survive the war with the hoards, the government will send people or drones out to take care of you.

Don’t be angry and upset. Live every day from now on as a gift from God. Enjoy your family and friends and life in general. You are never going to store enough food or bullets or guns to survive any longer than God wills it.

Isn’t it funny those that call us doom and gloomers. All I got’s to say is, “I live in real world, not lala land”. In my world 1+1=2, not 12. 😉

That’s what the Fed, Govt and the state controlled media wants the low information voter to believe. It’s going to get ugly folks.

        • you don't need to know

People talk about the 16 elections and I just laugh. As if we’re going to make it to the 14 elections, and to that WHO GIVES A FLYING F$%K, doesn’t matter who wins anyway!!!

          • Rodster

I totally agree. The two party system is nothing more than Diet Coke vs Diet Pepsi. IMO what this collapse will look like is similar to what multi EMP’s launched around the world. This is serious shit that these dumbasses have put us in.

There’s a part of me that says bring it on but there is another side that we could be looking at the Dark Ages II. 😕

            • Archivist

As Archivist, I have been preparing for a possible Dark Ages by creating my own personal collection of the world’s knowledge.

I have thousands of books and magazines on every subject under the sun, including numerous sets of encyclopedias, children’s books, countless more books in digital form, backups of many important sites from the internet (a complete Wikipedia backup, a survivalblog backup, countless items from, copies of classic movies and TV shows, most of the old time radio shows that still exist (over 30,000 and still collecting), almost every record that has charted on any of the charts, pop, country, soul, disco, etc., and most of the records that would have charted back before charts existed (see Whitburn’s “Pop Memories”).

I have multiple backups and a large number of computers hidden away along with a separate solar system to run them.

I have worried for many years about information being lost forever. I started collecting information in general over 50 years ago, stepped it up a lot 40 years ago, and went into high gear about 20 years ago. My home office looks like a miniature version of the government warehouse that housed the Ark at the end of the Indiana Jones movie. Shelves all around, boxes stacked to the ceiling, and just a narrow path to walk through.

I hope everyone who is able will try to create their own archives just in case.

              • Red Leader

Great thoughs Archivist. I would add that books are EMP proof.

              • DumbDude

I can believe the amounts of material you have collected and the amount of time you have been at it. Amazing, but aren’t you pushing the limits of credibility when you say you have your own “separate solar system” – since it would have to be light years away how could you even travel there… oh, I get it… I’t ain’t always easy being a DumbDude.

p.s. by any chance do you live in Ohio and work as an engineer?

                • Archivist

Never lived in Ohio, but I did pretend to be an assistant engineer many years ago in a previous life.

Maybe I should have said a “photovoltaic system.”

I started collecting when I was very young. The first item I collected, and still have, is the back page of a Weekly Reader showing preliminary state-by-state results of the 1960 census. I was into chemistry, geology, and dinosaurs in third grade. It’s sad how they changed the dinosaur names so us older people would look bad. We had the brontosaurus back then. I thinks it’s allosaurus now. Why the change?

          • lastmanstanding

amen…then it will be the 18 mid terms, etc, etc.

The time for denial is over. The first domino to fall has happened. Gas prices will be over FIVE DOLLARS A GALLON by the beginning of August. The transportation of goods will come to a screeching halt, that or the mark up on prices will be so enormous that spending will fall exponentially! Govt blowhards will scramble to voice the best solution, but it will be to late. The market that has been built on a house of cards will crash. Well actually the govt will suspend trading, but same difference. You all know what happens next. TPTB declare martial law. SHTFF!!!

      • durango kidd

The collapse that Denninger describes is not “hyperinflation”. It is deflation with a part time or massive unemployed work force similar too, if not greater than, the Great Depression.

2015 is a likely time frame. Keep prepping.

        • The Old Coach

Exactly right. We are in the same condition as before 1929, which is to say that there is a flipping mountain of bad debt in the system that has to be expelled, and that will collapse the amount of money available for among other things the payment of wages. OUR mountain is a hundred times bigger, and OUR population is now almost 100% urban and dependent on wages or welfare, whereas in 1929 50% lived on farms and could (and did) feed themselves by their own labor and smarts.

I wish more people here would actually go READ Denninger, instead of commenting based on their own assumptions and biases.

          • durango kidd

O’bummer Care will have a negative impact upon jobs, salaries, and wages; leaving consumers with less disposable income.

            That could be the “trigger”.

        • Merree

The bankers would never allow a deflation.

          • durango kidd

Deflation is occurring with deleveraging. Ask any homeowner still under water. The Gangster Banksters caused that. they always do. Its an opportunity to transfer wealth from the middle class to the Uber Rich.

            It always has been.

        • JoeRepublic

Every fiat currency ends in hyperflation. First comes stagflation, then comes deflation, then more stagflation, then usually, come hyperinflation at the end with heads on pikes to go with it. Get over yourself, you’ve got it half right.

I wish it were here already, even though I’m not prepared enough in my mind. I just can’t stand the waiting game. I’m very impatient. Om my farmIve got cattle a burro and a lama. I was gonna divide and deed the farm acreage to our children. and keep two milk cows. Those little goats are very cute. Its very satisfying to watch our animals and gardens grow. Any way We have no debt and for the most part life is very comfortable and pleasnt. however Im certian that there are economic and social upheavils & chaos in the future. And the likeyhood of great clatyclismic end of an age earth changing events are pretty good.Be informed seems to have a good insight to the earth events. A fellow I read a long time ago said: If you were a farmer in Northern Italy Neither you nor your children would ever have noticed the Collapse of Rome. It was slow enough one generation slid into another without notice. It has already started, move to Detroit, East LA, Greece, Spain ,Italy, lots of places. It just hasn’t hit you, yet.

        • The Old Coach

Well, yes and no. What they may not have noticed was the disintegration of the social fabric of Rome, i.e. the corruption, the sodomy, the laziness, the drunken degradation of the urban Romans. There was no television to glorify it to all the world. But distant lands certainly noticed the constant increase in taxes that occurred as Rome went under. And the rapacity of the tax collectors, who often kept more than half of what was collected for themselves. It was written that in Transalpine Gaul the Roman (citizen) farmers welcomed the Gothic takeover as a liberation.

This has been in play for a long time now. Many are getting antsy waiting for the cataclysmic trigger. I tend to go with the frog in boiling water analogy. People (sheeple) are easier to manipulate when you erode their liberty and finances little by little to prevent unification and/or panic. It may not happen that way. There are any of a dozen potential triggers out there, but life must continue. The best one can hope for is a full pantry, a full ammo closet, and a good outreach program. It is coming……

22 Quotes That Lay Out The Elite’s Agenda
              Print Friendly
Here are a few things that members of the ruling class wish they never said
              David Rockefeller

              David Rockefeller

              Secrets of the Fed
              July 15, 2013

              1. “In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. National sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all.”
Strobe Talbot, President Clinton’s Deputy Secretary of State, as quoted in Time, July 20th, l992.

              2. “The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But under the name of “liberalism” they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a Socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.” Norman Thomas, for many years U.S. Socialist Presidential candidate.

              3. “Today the path of total dictatorship in the United States can be laid by strictly legal means, unseen and unheard by the Congress, the President, or the people. Outwardly we have a Constitutional government. We have operating within our government and political system, another body representing another form of government – a bureaucratic elite.”

              Senator William Jenner, 1954

              4. “We are grateful to the Washington Post, The New York Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But, the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in past centuries.”
              David Rockefeller, Baden-Baden, Germany 1991

              5. “The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson.”
A letter written by FDR to Colonel House, November 21st, l933

              6. “The depression was the calculated ‘shearing’ of the public by the World Money powers, triggered by the planned sudden shortage of supply of call money in the New York money market….The One World Government leaders and their ever close bankers have now acquired full control of the money and credit machinery of the U.S. via the creation of the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank.”
Curtis Dall, FDR’s son-in-law as quoted in his book, My Exploited Father-in-Law

              7. “The New Deal is plainly an attempt to achieve a working socialism and avert a social collapse in America; it is extraordinarily parallel to the successive ‘policies’ and ‘Plans’ of the Russian experiment. Americans shirk the word ‘socialism’, but what else can one call it?”
H.G. Wells The New World Order 1939

              8. “Ultimately, our objective is to welcome the Soviet Union back into the world order. Perhaps the world order of the future will truly be a family of nations.”
President George Bush Texas A&M University 1989

              9. “Under Socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not the character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner. . . .”
Fabian Socialist Bernard Shaw in his Intelligent Woman’s Guide to Socialism and Capitalism, 1928.

              10. “We are moving toward a new world order, the world of communism. We shall never turn off that road.”
              Mikhail Gorbachev 1987

              11. “National Socialism will use its own revolution for establishing of a new world order.”
Adolph Hitler during World War II

              12. “I am a most unhappy man. I have unwittingly ruined my country. A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit. Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation, therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men. We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world. No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men.”
              President Woodrow Wilson 1916

              13. “It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.”
              – Henry Ford

              14. “The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government combining super capitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control…. Do I mean conspiracy? Yes I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent.”
              – Congressman Larry P. McDonald, 1976, killed in the Korean Airlines 747 that was shot down by the Soviets

              15. “Some even believe we (the Rockefeller family) are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”
              – David Rockefeller, Memoirs, page 405

              16. “It is the system of nationalist individualism that has to go….We are living in the end of the sovereign states….In the great struggle to evoke a Westernized World Socialism, contemporary governments may vanish….Countless people…will hate the new world order….and will die protesting against it.” – H.G. Wells, in his book, “The New World Order”, 1940

              17. “To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family traditions, national patriotism, and religious dogmas.” – Brock Adams, Director UN Health Organization

              18. “We need a program of psychosurgery for political control of our society. The purpose is physical control of the mind. Everyone who deviates from the given norm can be surgically mutilated. The individual may think that the most important reality is his own existence, but this is only his personal point of view. . . Man does not have the right to develop his own mind. . . . We must electronically control the brain. Someday armies and generals will be controlled by electronic stimulation of the brain.”
Dr. Jose M.R. Delgado, Director of Neuropsychiatry, Yale University Medical School, Congressional Record, No. 26, Vol. 118, February 24, 1974.

              19. “One of the least understood strategies of the world revolution now moving rapidly toward its goal is the use of mind control as a major means of obtaining the consent of the people who will be subjects of the New World Order.”
From The National Educator, K.M. Heaton

              20. “We are on the verge of a global transformation. All we need is the right major crisis and the nations will accept the New World Order.”
              – David Rockefeller

              21. “No one will enter the New World Order unless he or she will make a pledge to worship Lucifer. No one will enter the New Age unless he will take a Luciferian Initiation.”
David Spangler, Director of Planetary Initiative, United Nations

              22. “Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government.”
Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991

15 More Reasons for Fleeing the Police State
            Jorge Gato
            Activist Post

It is time once again to give yet 15 more reasons for escaping from the United Soviet States of Amerika (USSA). The following are utterly absurd happenings in the Empire of which I muse upon from the comfort of a warm climate and peaceable surroundings abroad.

            1) Police officers, who once were dignified upholders of the law, shoot people’s pets for fun.

            2) The government will take away your newborn baby if you eat a poppy seed bagel, while they at the same time illegally and unethically cultivate 90% of the world’s supply of poppy seed-opium-heroin in Afghanistan.

            3) The government will accidentally shoot you for holding a cell phone.

            4) The government will imprison you for drawing on the sidewalk with chalk.

            5) The government will, like a giant vampire squid, forcibly suck your blood.

            6) The government will extort citizens by setting up fake checkpoints.

            7) The government will imprison you for sarcasm.

            8) The government will imprison you for wearing a t-shirt.

            9) The government will chase you out of a convenience store for purchasing sparkling water, smash your car as you flee in trepidation and in lieu of honing up to their pathetic ineptitude and evil, put you in jail.

            10) The government will incarcerate you for wearing too much perfume.

            11) The government will classify you “terrorist” for complaining about them poisoning your water.

            12) The government will record your whole life (i.e. Prism, Bonesaw, etc.).

            13) The government will assassinate its own citizens and journalists for just doing their job (i.e. Michael Hastings).

            14) The government will blow up a passenger plane filled with innocent civilians just for the heck of it (i.e. TWA 800).

            15) The government will arm Islamic radicals who cut off the heads of Christians.

I was disturbed by the state of society upon my latest incursion into the USSA. When the average citizen forgets the meaning of Memorial Day and does not know why they celebrate Independence Day, I become nauseated and am at a total loss for words.

;0p … when i turn 50 i’m outta here , time to move to a more liberal minded country off the beaten path .

;-). Btw@ MAC, yesterday I was trying to share on FB. It kept telling me the link had malicious something or other. I filled out the little form that popped up. My fb shuts me down all the time when I’m posting conservative stuff. Not sure if it was the link or FB that was the problem.

    9. Genius

It’s coming and the unprepared will get whats coming to them. I welcome the purge of fat, stupid, resource consuming zombies that do nothing but consume as much as possible and never do a damn thing to improve themselves or become smarter. They are a plague on this planet and eat up the valuable commodities and resources without any care to sustain theyre worthless, fat, stupid, pointless lives. I am not some eco-nazi I just see what is going on and point out the truth. What value do these piles of sh*t bring to humanity or our earth? Good riddance, they are killing the planet and humanity and are worse than worthless. Worthless means of no value, less than worthless equals of negative value and like a cancer. Hopefully when the smoke clears we can rebuild with real freedom and responsibility and get rid of govt. and all the other crap. Sadly I think most of the morons will want things to get back to the way they were. We’ll find out before long.

      • prepped

We will find out very soon no doubt what is going to happen.. just look at the tards (govt and sheeple)on the MSM.

      • braveheart

Genius, I agree it will be horrific and tragic for the nonpreppers. Go back in the archives and look up an article by Be Informed from 5-12-12 titled, “How Horrific Will It Be For The Nonprepper?”. That article really spells out in full detail what the nonpreppers have in store for them. I’m grateful I’m not like them at all. My prepping is really in overdrive now. Everyone get everything you can now before its too late. Just let those EBT cards and govt. checks get cut off and we’ll see riots over that faster than anything else. They’ll forget about Zimmerman and everything else when they see their “entitlements” cut off. braveheart

    12. Tactical

The reality is each individual is responsible to plan for his her life and to take the ownership and accountability to do so and do it correctly. Lack of such planning is not the responsibility of the society or in general anyone else but the individual himself/herself. Giving general warning and trying to educate people is a sound idea BUT we need to stop listening to the same old folks that every six month start screaming the world will end in 2 month, 2 years…..and so on. World won’t end in general rather each one of us may feel as such for any unexpected situations we may face in our life times. To the unemployed the world may seems to be ended… the family who lost heir homes during the corrupt poker games of the criminal bankers, the world might be looking as ended……The net of my comment is try to be in a survival mode for anything and everything that life may bring either natural or man made but please don’t listen to the same voices who have been saying the world will end soon since 10 years ago. The result would be to get burned out and not even be able to be prepared. Live your life as it is your last day, enjoy every second of your life with your loved ones BUT also have contingency plans just in case. God Bless You All.

Greg Mannarino on X22report says that once things get going events could happen very rapidly.

I think we could go from a relatively normal life to a complete economic collapse in 30 days or less. Prepare like we might not have much time because we might not.

I completely redid my business. I’m aligning it now for a one person business…ME.

The first day she came to clean after the election J told her she didn’t need her any more because she had to save all of her money because taxes and insurance were going up thanks to Obama. Would’ve loved to have seen the girls face.

John Boehner, Rubio, McCain and Flake want to make sure the children of illegal immigrants are granted citizenship. Those children include the teenaged gang bangers with no job skills, poor education and simmering hatred for gringos. I agree, Ruck the Fepublicans!! Opening the borders and destroying America to get 25% of the Hispanic votes?!

The ruling Junta is prepping better than almost anyone I know! Underground bunkers, 1.6 Billion hollow point rounds, deep-dish coffins, FEMA Internment camps, drones on American soil, MREs, the NDAA and Executive orders for Martial Law, assault weapons for the DHS/NSA/ATF/DEA/BLM/FBI, shotguns for the DOE and IRS, ammo for the NOAA, a $1.5 BILLION data collection facility in UTAH. And military recruitment of gangbangers (only 1% of the armed forces)?

      • Anonymous3

Ditto. Hire contractors. Let them deal with the tax mess. Its not my job to provide for people too lazy to work: its my job to provide for my own. I did work in a lazy-person neighborhood for about 3 years; so, NOBODY needs to tell me about down and out. Try getting them to work! Chinese family can come here with nothing and be living next to me in 10 years while lazy Americans never work. (Sure, many of them are alcoholics; but, carrying them is just feeding their addiction).

I think one thing missed HERE is just what you did and I’m doing and others did. People change but not overnight. The “System” is losing support. Another great example is Charter Schools and Home Schools. The “Every Child Left Behind” centralized education forced on the schools is driving new systems. It takes years but the domination the centralized propaganda education ministry had is slowly being relgated to the people who don’t work anyways. Get it? 101M people going to propaganda schools and then getting handouts. That surely will collapse!

      • JoeRepublic

Get a PVC plug for each toilet. Simpler yet, cut the main drain outside you home and cap it. Have the PVC solvent and cap on hand now. If you have a septic tank, you’re already good to go.

          Plumbers’ here….shitters’ full!

          • two2wisper

Have you checked our shitter honey

        • BlueH20

Modern septic systems need electricity to operate the pump. Have alternatives on hand or only flush when the generator is engaged. If the electricity is out and it has been raining hard and you do not have a generator, a flush equals a backup. Been there.

In my county, they started condemning gravity septic systems about 15+ years ago. And even if you have a gravity system, tanks need to be pumped and that takes a specialized pumping truck.

2 people and a 1300 gallon tank will go about 3 years without a pump. A smaller tank, such as 800 (a common size) with a family of four needs to be pumped every year. Our Amish neighbors have holding tanks that need pumped every 6-8 weeks.

          • you don't need to know

This may be drastic, but you can always get a portable shitter and than use it for compost. Make sure you turn the water off before going this route so the toilet doesn’t overflow from backage.

Anyone else using human waste for compost?

            • Mountain Trekker

I agree, Dad always grows a big garden and I asked why he didn’t use the dogs crap in the garden and he said not to use the feces of any animal that eats meat.

              Holy Shit

All are about using human waste for fertilizer

              • LSB

Right on…have you all priced bagged up fertilizer? If we were growing all of our own food, there is no way we could afford to buy enough to keep our soil producing. Learning to properly compost our own doo-doo is a must. What country thrives like the Asian countries? China is battling over population. As far as dog poo goes, my friend in Alaska had sled dogs. They composted the dog stuff and used it for growing corn – in a greenhouse. She said that it was the best corn she had ever eaten. She is a nurse, RN. We have been conditioned by our over-lords to believe that the poo is really bad stuff. Properly composted it can be good. As a matter of fact, one bag of compost that we bought said to wear gloves when handling. I believe that I heard that it was either a mental hospital or prison, was composting their poo and selling it. I would rather know what was in my poo – what medications, what diseases the people had that were contributing to the poo pile. Is your steer manure coming from cows that had mad cow disease? How many years worth of antibiotics and growth hormones were in the steer manure? Please open your mind to new ways. Please buy this book. The author, I believe stated that he had been using his families composted manure for about 17 years and they were all healthy.

          • Anonymous

I have gone 15 years without pumping. Of course my wife and I know what to put in it, and we alo have a grease trap for the sink, and we know what to put in it. Some of my friends have not learned that and pump every 3-5 years.

            • PenCRNA

My dad and his wife , and the three of us before I left home = 42 years with no pump on gravity drain system. Somebody must be full of sh!t, literally!

            • Red Leader

For our 800 square foot cabin that I built, we put in the biggest septic tank they had. It was sized for a 5 bedroom house. The leech system is three times the size required by code.

We use strainers in the kitchen sink. Very little solids other than poo goes into the tank.

What others have said is true, prevention when it comes to septic systems is the key.

The guy we bought the tank from told us that his secret formula for a healthy septic tank was a gallon of buttermilk and one of those 1 pound bricks of powdered SAF yeast.

The install was pretty simple. I rented a backhoe and did it myself.

Septic systems are amazing when you think about it. They silently get rid of waste using no energy, just water and gravity.

We also have 36″ x 10 feet deep shaft with outhouse for backup.

          • z-71

Maybe where your from that may be the norm but not where I live. My septic tank has been pumped twice in a little over thirty years and I don’t know of anyone who has there’s pumped every year or not even every three years.

          • Shootit

4-5 people last 12 years, pumped it once. Enzymes every month. Your choice.

          • JRS

Grease is what clogs up your septic. I have lived here 25 years and never pumped my gravity system. I have a separate drainage for all gray water and never flush cigs or used feminine products down your commode. I used to flush some proofed yeast every now and then or some RID-X (I think it was) but I don’t even do that anymore.

      • Anonymous3

And be sure to have WATER on hand. In storms around here (wet area anyways) people can’t flush their toilets when the water supply is down. Ridiculous of course, but that’ll be a #2 thing to pop up when TSHTF.

    21. ZombieDawg

Forget prepping as such. THat should have been sorted over a year ago now. You need multiple income streams more than anything. I have 7. YOU need an income stream for when your food reserves run out, your bills arrive, your run out of ammo, your kids need medical help etc etc.
YOU still need to live in the real world rather than the I’m-prepped-for-anything-and-have-a-cabin-in-the-woods mentality.
Of course the system will “collapse” and yes it will be FAR worse than the “couldn’t happen” 1929 will go on – the essential ones anyway, and they’re the ones you should have your fingers in the pie with.NOW.

      • JayJay

Not necessarily business will go on, zombie. You missed an article:

      • Anonymous3

I agree. Multiple income streams. A lot of preppers totally miss this. What if you are laid off and can’t find a job? Heck, in NC they just cut unemployment to 20 weeks. It’ll take you 5+ in a good economy. In a bad economy – you’d better have another income stream.

      Old news…

    24. Tony in CO

Alright guys and gals, I’ve never posted here just sit on the sidelines and watch but I have a real serious money question to ask. I am changing jobs and didn’t know my current employer had been putting money in a 401k over the last couple of months. Well I have $3k I wasn’t expecting. I have my prepps pretty well squared away but $3k could give me another years worth of food and some other nice preps but I also like to hedge my bet, that’s why I haven’t pulled my other investments out of market. So the question is…what would you do?

      • PenCRNA

Depending on your age, penalties and taxes could eat up half of that.

But if it’s ‘free money you’re not counting on I say go for it.

        • LSB

The first thing my husband did was take a loan out against part of it. It was a long time ago. I think he couldn’t withdraw it unless he quit the job. He eventually took an early retirement.

      • Mountain Trekker

Tony I’ve been hearing hard times are coming for 40 years. So leave it be! You can prep a little at a time out of your normal wages. Trekker Out. Never Panic!

        • JayJay

Tony–think what prices will be on those preps in a few years compared to prices now???

          • Tony in CO

Thank you all for your input. See what I mean though? If I pull it out and nothing happens I look dumb, but if I don’t and something does, I could have enough food to possibly save a neighbor or two. I think I’ll let it sit for a little while and see what the market does.

Buy PMs or if you keep in 401k land…buy CEF, allocated metal in canada. physical is best to keep on ya.

      • Paranoid

Not enough info to give good answer. But for now consider using money to reduce future expenses. Pay down debt. This will give you more future cash flow and time to decide. Mtn Trec is right, the world ends only once, don’t panic, anyone that’s paying attention will have some warning, more than average.

        • Tony in CO

I understand that I haven’t given a lot of info but I am trying to practice opsec on the net. Reducing debt is number one priority right now but getting a little push back from the wife because she isn’t completely sold on tshingtf. Got some cash coming in and going to pick off some low hanging fruit. $3k was just a little hard as a prepper not to think about buying some more food/gear. Thanks all!

          • Theguy

Regardless if the STHF globally, or locally, or whatever… it will hit you at the individual level eventually. Sure will me.

I used to consider things like payback period.

Not anymore, I see my job as a one time energy source. That I have time limited access to. And then I “go to Mars” so to speak and there’s no more getting shit for me.

That’s probably not true on low ticket item consumables. Very true on medium to high ticket item “systems” aka PV setup, etc. There IS no reasonable payback period on a PV system of any scale, even small scale. Particularly considering the batteries crap out at 5 years and you’re gonna need spares.

            Having said that…

With no job or a shit paying job… bills are going to be impossible.

So invest in reducing your highest recurring expenses while you have cash flow to do so. Mine are in order: transportation, insurance, food, utilities.

I don’t believe I can survive true deep total SHTF. I simply lack the resources to prep to that level.

Boat would be nice for that. Real nice. Float away and stay there, middle of the Pacific. But not gonna happen for me. Best I can do is prep for Argentina. Beyond that I don’t know what to say for me.

My preps shall be based on the idea that I become unemployed and remain unemployable in any real capacity. This implies I’d be able to do SOME kind of work / craft / thing to make enough to deal with some small level of consumables such as replacement PV batteries (if I start saving up the second the first set go into service) or some foods that I’d be unable to produce myself.

Think about your biggest recurring cash outlay and find a way to eliminate or greatly reduce it. If it’s a one-time expense… as long as it doesn’t go into the tens of thousands… forget the payback period to some extent. WIth limited cash flow, inflation’s going to eat your savings alive and that “I’ll do it when I need it” thing is not going to pan out.

          • Paranoid

You can do a lot of little things like. Good boots, Glasses, good bad weather gear. Most people here seem to prep for TEOTWAWKI but just real bad time are more likely. SHTF lots of times, the world ends only once. If you are in Co prep for a Bad storm first. Even wife cannot argue that, that puts you ahead of most. Then buy 2-3 of the old big heavy army duffle bags and a trunk. doesn’t take a lot of space and you would be surprised how much stuff you can get in that much space, out of sight out of mind

      • Anonymous3

Take a look at millikenforestry. Harvested tree farms. Larger than you ask but I’d be willing to go halfsies or something. You can also find some in eastern NC (NC is a very wide state) in the sub $2K/acre zone. A good/bad thing about these areas is there is always soembody living within a mile or so; not like out west where you could be desolate. Another good thing is the country folks are all preppers by lifestyle as they already “can”, “hunt”, etc. Trying to unload my 5 acres in a southern metro to get cash for BOL. I thought about ex-USA but think I’m too rooted to move and there’s too much risk as most small countries can be taken over by an elite within a few months and property ownership is not secure in many places from what I have heard.

      • Smokey

If your preps are squared away, they are squared away. Water filter, defense, any shortfalls take care of them, but don’t spend your long-term savings, just roll it over to another account or precious metals, your choice.

    25. SWFL

The need for guns and ammo will be intense when it hits your life but comparatively short and/or sporadic. As yet I have not seen a shortage of (or movement towards)hats, gloves, socks, work shoes, shovels, hoes, digging forks, axes, soap, iodine, water filters, fish hooks, nylon line, needles , or thread. Or rope.

      • JayJay are right..there is no shortage of socks, clothes, shoes, soap, tools, etc.
The prices on those has increased by 30-50% though just in the last year!
And the cost of underwear is ridiculous.

Practice your gardening now. Learn which vegetables grow well in your soil. Improve your soil with manure, compost, and mulched leaves. Buy up bags of fertilizer, gardening tools, and build raised beds…Google that…Learn which wild plants are edible and learn to build homemade animal traps. Stock up as much food as possible and have a water filtration system. Buy guns and mucho ammo. Network with neighbors and friends and make plans for mutual protection from those that would take from you. Say a prayer that it will not last long.

      • you don't need to know

Also, start raising chickens and rabbits and goats. Great list IRU!

Plant fruit trees and berry bushes…

        • PenCRNA

Found out today 5 homes in a 3 block area have chickens. This is CT. Ya think folks are starting to catch on?

          • Prepped in CT

Yup. There are at least a couple of people here with chickens also…(Southeast CT)

          • LSB

Keep your eyes open for areas with tall grass that the county never mows. Buy a sythe (sp?). Wack down that grass, take it home, dry for winter feed for goats, rabbits, etc. Even crappy weeds can be dried for bedding in the sheds. Hay is getting quite expensive on the west coast. We feel like having sheds full of hay is better than money in the bank.

          • Anonymous3

Relative lives in a $300+ house in neighborhood with $1M+ homes… his neighbor got chickens a few months back “because he likes the taste of fresh eggs” even though there’s a farmer’s market a dozen miles up the road. 🙂 I think GA actually passed a law anyone can have chickens.

        • sheptical citizen

If you have goats you wont have fruit trees and berry bushes for very long. Goats are escape artist. you could put a goat in a vehicle roll up all the windows and lock all the doors and it will still escape Eventually the goats will find eat and destroy berry bushes and fruit trees and anything else you try to deny them. There are three ways to keep a goat from jumping a fence. 1 leave the gate open. 2 place two boards one on each side like ramps so it can walk over 3 nail its ass to the ground with a 12 guage. Did I mention that I have goats?

          • LSB

Have you tried solar electric fences? The most trouble we have had is when the females come in heat. We end up putting them with Billy, guess we will have more goats than we want.

            • sheptical citizen

electric works good for my cattle and pony. Ive got one of those high voltage solid state international harvester bush wacker chargers. it will burn off any growing plants that touch it. My goats would go through it. they would start screaming before they even got to it and didnt deter them. Ive got 6 foot chain limk fence around the premeter of my three acres and they crawled under it. I had to put poles all along the bottom. Ive owned this herd of goats for about a year. We had goats before about 25 years ago. My wife stated the other day that she now remembers why we got rid of the goats years ago. those goats have did a wonder full job killing the multiflower rose, thorn trees, & other kinds of unwanted brambles ect. and their nanny goat pellets are a execellent soil builder it doesnt need to be composted just till it into the soil. However I think I will sell the goats and just keep the sheep and lama for brush control.
Did I tel you goats love to jump on everything especially cars?

          • ENFP

It is easier to fence things out of an area than in. So fence off your trees and berry bushes rather than fence in the goats.

And as many others on the forum have said to those who are able-bodied: get strong and get into shape!! Obviously, some folks have terminal conditions, disabilities and diseases. That is outside of our control in many cases.

But when I see otherwise “healthy” preppers carrying excess fat, weak muscles, diabetic arms, plumbers’ cracks, lack of endurance and lethargy, I want to cry. Some of these folks would be miserable if the missed a meal or had to walk up a hill! Some of them waste hours in front of a computer or TV. Denninger is prone to hyperbole, and has been calling for crashes on a regular basis for years.
One of his favorite teasers is “here it comes!” with a picture of a nuclear explosion under his articles.
He wisely plays it safer now, extending his predictions out 2 years in order to avoid being burned again.
He’s premature with his “Bernanke has lost control of the bond market”.
That remains to be seen because yields have not exploded.
The 10 year is yielding around 2.5% Karl, and that’s not out of control.
The recent spike up to 2.75%, while large in relative terms has backed off and does not appear to be “out of control”.
Denninger’s signature line used to include a blurb about “Bondzilla”, the bond market monster that was supposed to have sent the bond market crashing years ago.
It never happened and he finally removed that from his signature line.
While he’s probably going to be right in the end, that end could take much longer than he desires.
He’s also quite fond of bashing gold and silver, smirking and laughing when they’re targeted for price declines.
In that regard he reminds me of “King Dollar” Larry Kudlow, who loves to see gold get smashed.
Gold may have the last laugh on both Denninger and Kudlow.

USGS Censors GOM Earthquakes While US Military Prepares For Civil Unrest Due To Climate Change
      Tuesday, July 16, 2013 8:31

      (Before It’s News)
Why is the USGS censoring earthquakes in the Gulf of Mexico, including one on the 15th of July, 2013? Whenever the government is hiding something, I try to figure out what they are hiding, and why. Could these quakes have caused the new oil leak discovered there days ago? Check out the map of the new spill below; close to the quake locations. Why would the USGS be censoring this data, earthquakes surely happen all the time in the GOM, right? Are they tied to the ever present Louisiana sinkhole nearby?
We also learn in this story, “U.S. Military Prepares for Global Unrest Amid Climate Fears”, from Live Science that the US military is indeed preparing for CIVIL UNREST! Are all of these earth changes that we’re now undergoing the reason why?

      Fight stand and fight

People have been warned for years of what was coming, many just shut their eyes and prayed that what they were witnessing could not be true, its even got a name ‘normalcy bias’. Although the Progressive plan was instituted over 80 years ago, this admin has accelerated it beyond comprehension. I warned you five years ago you would not recognize your country in a couple years, and the transformation is almost complete.

As you have been witnessing, the corruption goes to the very core of government. People are corrupted almost the instant they step foot into D.C., a total purge is required, people are standing up and fighting back, but they are being overwhelmed by government agents and their supporters. We need reinforcements to take the political battlefield before we all have to take to the field in a hot conflict.

You were warned of the Drones, of the data collection centers, of the growing police state, of the rampant suppression of the Bill of Rights and the destruction of the Constitution. As I restated months ago, YOU have NO ‘rights’ left, none… and the recent events prove that.

They no longer even deny that they are going through your emails, your phone calls and your texts. They no longer deny using drones and ‘other electronic means’ to collect data on you, your family and your acquaintances, they no longer deny that they can just scoop you off the street for no reason and with no judicial recourse… they no longer deny it at all, as a matter of fact they say THEY HAVE THE RIGHT to violate constitutional protections in the name of the ‘National Security’.

The government is now saying in the open that they can spy on you at will, store your data for years to peruse at their leisure, and where is the outcry? Where is the resistance? You have seen what they have done in the name of ‘national security’… to build one of the largest surveillance networks on the planet accountable only to the government, while shredding the very documents that make us who we are… People Please!

They are hell-bent on ramming through their amnesty plan which will absolutely and without a doubt destroy the sovereignty of our nation. Although millions of American citizens are out of work, about 33 million former illegals are about ready to flood the market while driving wages down to the floor… good luck with that and an ‘economic recovery’.

The economy is running on fumes, Hows that shopping cart looking lately compared to the amount of money you handed the cashier? The market has been propped up for years and it CANNOT maintain the levels it is running. As soon as the govt QE teat is pulled from the markets lips, the run will evaporate. The house of cards is already starting to topple… look at european and asian markets, they are already starting to destabilize again, and what stops the destabilization? Money, printing lots of un-backed currency and injecting it in the economies, but sooner of later the tab will have to be paid

How about some updates from the last E-Blasts:

The illegal and unconstitutional government gun running operation called Fast and Furious that resulted in the deaths of Federal Agents, thousands of Mexicans and hundreds of American Citizens… Still no action, instead the government used it as we suspected they would, to force more violations of the Second Amendment through ‘regulation’.

Bengahzi with the death of four Americans including a U.S. Ambassador… still no action and being slowly swept back into the darkness.

IRS Scandals have caused just a few token moves, including IRS employees getting 70 million dollars in bonuses and yet another IRS employee taking the Fifth before congress.

NSA Domestic Spying Scandal… Nada, slowly being dragged back into a dark corner.

YOUR government (The Executive, the Legislative AND the Judicial) is openly attacking and destroying every sector and every institution… Medical, Education, Transportation, Energy, Financial, Military and even the core Religions are all under attack. We are becoming a soft socialist european style country, and the transformation is almost complete.

You Must Stand, You Must Resist, You Must Fight

      • you don't need to know

I couldn’t agree more!!! Not everyone has the ability to fight the government with guns. Would you agree that moving to a location that is debt free and off the grid while growing your own food is fighting the system also?

We recently moved to our BOL that is paid in cash and totally off the grid. I feel that we are “fighting” the system…

What’s your way of fighting and resisting?

        • dollarstodonuts

How can you be totally off the grid? What about Uncle Sam’s handout? Car tags, license, income taxes, property taxes, etc?

There’s a backlash taking place in our nation.
You won’t read about it. You won’t hear about it…why..
Because all the media is controls by the dems.

We the republicans are not happy with the entire nation turning to socialism with the dems.

      Enjoy your unemployment.

I’m not racist but blacks consider whites as a weaker people. I keep 30 shots on my side for any that wants to test that theory. I wish WASP would band together because things have gone to far. • 10% Off

Indy Colts – The election of this president set race relations back 50 years. Look at the first case he stuck his nose into. A white cop arresting the black professor that was in the wrong. O’bomber said “I do not have all the facts but the Cambridge police acted stupidly.”

That was very early in his first term and it’s been downhill ever since. Black Panthers voting intimidation ignored by Holder. Every defense they use is race! I believe this will be a trigger to something bad. The closer we get to the end of this term, I believe issues will be excelerated to do exactly what is said here….They will do anything to take our rights, our guns, our freedoms and our voice…..really, a White Hispanic?! Why isn’t the Hispanic community not completely outraged by this? There is a major attack on whites in this country and it’s not going to slow down anytime soon.

They will make up all the crap they want and the MSM will vomit it out over the airways and all the braindeads will buy it. I’m starting to lose all hope. Libtardism is a very serious disease and I don’t see anything changing until there is a major reset. I’m still for splitting up the country. Us on one side, them on the other. We’ll see who lasts.

          • Selkirk

Now that’s what I’m talking about.

I’ve had to resort to watching Fox news in order to not feel like a monster for thinking it was OK for Zimmerman to shoot someone who was actively trying to kill him.

It was all OK. The guy was trying to protect his neighborhood. Trayvon Martin was not Medgar Evers.

      • lastmanstanding

Hey, now you can jump over to the Fort Hood shooter diversion.

People actually stood there and watched that pos kill those people…butthat is not enough.

        • VRF

exactly.. its one diversion after another..continuation as they pull the rug from under all of our feet..

we all need to stop giving any credence to all of these distractions and drama, and focus on the BS they are pulling and make then and hold them accountable

times already up folks..the shit has already hit the fan

    36. Watchman

First off, it takes a lot of soul searching for some of us to realize we can’t “run and gun” any more. But the knowledge is still in there, so is the experience and that is VITAL.
There is not much discussion on Support and the fact that it must be planned for as well. Along those lines are the women and kids – don’t see much talk on what the “militiamen” are going to do about them. Most guys won’t leave the wife and kiddos to be taken to concentration camps or whatnot. So what is the plan? Do the wives know this plan? Have they rehearsed it?
Historically it takes many, many more support types than fighters. Got to have a plan for that too. Running around the woods with your buddies on weekends may be fun but if you don’t incorporate the families into it there will be chaos the first time they all come together under “stressful” conditions.
On base camps: Having a retreat/base camp/etc. is all well and good – depending on your envisioned foe. You better have backups and caches. Better have a (rehearsed) plan to move the base camp. Might be a good idea to have friends/alliances far away to run to. Might be a good idea not to discuss them on the net…
What is your base camp security like? Do all your people know the plan? Have they rehearsed it? Some folks found out recently they had holes in their “plan”. Good thing to find out earlier rather than later…
Medical knowledge and supplies are critical. Ask a nurse/surgeon/emt/paramedic how much supplies they use up on ONE car crash victim. Picture a couple of your guys shot up – you will need LOTS of stuff. Your first aid kit on your LCE or in your rucksack won’t cut it for long.
How are you gonna feed your people? Do you know when counter guerrilla offensives take place? Winter. Because if the forces can get the guerrillas running in winter time, bust them out of their camps and stashes of food they have a huge advantage. Think about it.
I could be wrong, but I think many militiamen have unrealistic expectations of life post-tshtf. If you have not yet done so – read Duncan Long’s “Backpack Survival”.
So you have your arsksakfal battle rifle and 3 backups; you have a bazillion rounds of ammo; you have all this high speed load carrying equipment, some cool radios and a first aid kit. That’s good. What happens when your house is taken down while you are at work? What happens if you get 5 minutes advance warning that the Mongolian Hordes are coming up your street? IF you get away you won’t be carrying much.
You need to spread it around a little bit. You need to learn all about caching. Do it now while there is time and freedom of movement.
You’ve practiced your movement through the woods. Have you also practiced them with John’s wife Mary and Bill’s three little girls tagging along? You should.
Back to Mary and the girls: Do they know how to do basic things like self-defense, first aid, communication, cooking over fires, keeping quiet, keeping secrets, being observant, communicating effectively, passing messages, serving as lookouts?
The base camp idea has some merit. Have y’all practiced living in one for any kind of extended period of time? How do you prepare food for all the people? What about sanitation? How do you secure it and do anything else? How fast can you move it? You may have to perform a fighting retreat – that will suck. It will be worse if you have never rehearsed it.
But doing all this is hard. It takes time and effort. It makes what many of us do no longer a fun “hobby” but a way of life. And this is why most folks won’t even consider doing it.
It’s all fun and games ’til someone gets an eye poked out.
      “Got Support?”

      Keep the FAITH

      • you don't need to know

It’s unfortunatley true Watchman. I have no idea what post SHTF life will be like. All I know is that we are preparing everything for no electricity, accept some solar, which will eventually break…

I’m married to a SF guy, and we dont’ train. We are so busy getting our BIL in order that all time gets consumed into the land.

Thank you for the reminder that we need to practice security a little more often!

        • Luther

Think of prepping and security training as a collision drill on a USCG Cutter, you drill many times a week, for months or even years. This readies for the actual scenario.

But once an actual collision occurs you will have scenario’s develop that you never practiced for. But because you practiced it allows you to think on your feet in action and you adjust and adapt, this sharpens your skill level.

If you never practice or drill the chances are likely, you’re going to sink!!!

Moral of the story, practice and drill as much as you can, read books or watch video’s of possible SHTF scenarios and study them. If you want to live, if you want your family to live drill drill then drill some more.

No one will be able to prepare for every situation, so be strong in the basic survival skills, don’t be a Jack of all trades when you master none.

Drill drill and drill some more. Drill as if your life depends on it, because it does, buddy up people increase your odds.

      • slingshot

Good post and you covered a lot of ground of what needs to be done. Yes, what once was a hobby is now very serious and at times overwhelming. Very few have a support system in place and will have to go it alone. Old time preppers have lots of knowledge but most, because of age, can’t do the run and gun. Therefore we have to be really good at the things we can still do. The sad part about it all is that as we can instruct on how to do things, there is nothing like doing it to a point it becomes natural and not a task. That takes time. How does one compress 20 years of experience into 6 months. How many can change a tire or plug a tire. Can sharpen a knife or axe. Use a chainsaw to include proper sharpening. There are few here that have faced the elements. There are too many subjects to learn. Hell, Watchman, all that I know does not mean I am going to make it. One thing for sure is when I die all of it goes with me. That pisses me off. All those who scoff at my warnings will wish I was still alive or listened to what I so desperately wanted to teach.
Youth is wasted on the young.

      • SmokinOkie

Watchman, excellent comment. There are a million scenarios to consider, and still, once the shtf it’ll be things we didn’t think of that trip us up. That’s why actual practice runs are so valuable- we can learn from our mistakes when lives aren’t on the line. Whatever (and whenever) disaster strikes, it won’t be anything like the movies. Cyber warriors and paper planners won’t last long when real life gets tough.

    37. Piper Michael

“The refusal of King George III to allow the colonies to operate an honest money system, which freed the ordinary man from the clutches of the money manipulators was probably the prime cause of the revolution.”
      -Benjamin Franklin

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies . . . If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] . . . will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered . . . The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.”
      — Thomas Jefferson, The Debate Over The Recharter Of The Bank Bill (1809)

“When you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing; when you see that money is flowing to those who deal not in goods, but in favors; when you see that men get rich more easily by graft than by work, and your laws no longer protect you against them, but protect them against you… you may know that your society is doomed.” – Ayn Rand

“Power IS money, and money IS power. If power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, then centralized power corrupts whole nations through corrupted money. America was founded in blood, as we put down an aristocracy of royalty, but then an aristocracy of money took over espousing high ideals that put them in charge permanently, and named it a Republic. But the odd thing about money, is that it is attracted to its gravitational source, the wealthy, it always returns as a matter of necessity. It is a strange attractor, as ole Tom Jefferson and Franklin noted, those who control the money, control the markets, and with that, they control themselves into the ownership of everything. This means the masses of humanity always end up paying rent on their own land. The people allow it because they love money too and want to be like their betters. But if the process is ever allowed to complete, where the Elite own all the wealth, the emperor will seen to have no clothes, and eventually the Piper must be paid in blood.”
      – The Piper

The USA, is now at the 99 to 1 ratio, where 99% of the countries wealth is owned by 1% of the people. Think about that. It is that last 1 percent that decides the turn towards bloodshed. Most of the ‘wealth’ is in paper, but backed by your homes, businesses and labor. When T Bonds fail, not if, the collateral will be foreclosed on. The international bankers will be the bank that forecloses, and enemy armies of the UN will be the sheriff. Think Greece, and multiply it by a billion.

At that time, you will understand how you were screwed by the aristocrats of money, just like the Whiskey Rebels at the beginning of the Republic. The richest of the rich will still be rich, but, your wealth will be nationalized. When you hear the word ‘sacrifice’ remember there will be someone taking the offering. When you hear the word ‘serve’, remember there is someone who wants to become your massa. These are the basis of the “Sweet words on the tongue, that grow bitter in the belly”.

When you hear the word; hoarder, think of the word; envy. Remember, the Hive ‘feels’ that their need outweighs your ability. Envy is the root of coveting, and it matters not if it is an individual or a government doing the coveting. It is the best indicator of evil, and I don’t care what your church says. Any church, that tells you to ‘submit to Godly authority’, when your eyes and ears tell you it is become UnGodly, is a church you need to run away from. They are taking their 30 pieces of tax free silver to sell the false narrative of the envious collective, the Beast Hive mind.

False altruism, is the ideology of coveting, sacrifice and service, imposed by the barrel of a gun, backed up by sweet words on the tongue. True altruism is from the heart, it is salt not sugar, a charity to help give a hand up, not being forced to give a hand out. This creates the entitlement mentality, reverses morality by making evil to be good, denigrates the achiever, destroys the productive and is a primary contributor to the sugary rot and ultimate destruction of societies and civilization itself.

Ultimately the prepper inherently understands, that he is responsible for himself and his own, his community, his trade networks, his morality and his culture. The prepper understands and sees the evil inherent in the coveter, and that it is even a basic biblical principle and commandment whether he or she believes in any deity or not, he understands that his rights come from a higher authority, not as some privileges meted out by evil men.

So when churches and governments ally together in a false altruistic fantasy world, that our ‘hoard’ is the property of the Hive simply because they are lazy, poor, broke, hungry or clueless. That it is the highest moral authority and purpose of the prepper to understand the basis of that false authority, and the duty and responsibility to preserve civilization by fighting the “spiritual wickedness in high places”. Unfortunately, in this world, there is a cost for being stupid, and it is painful, and it is not our fault. That does not mean to be heartless, but ruthless in defense of the moral code of the prepper; Those who do not work, do not eat…

It is the ultimate calling of the prepper to keep and hold tight to his breast, the moral, cultural, laws, and above all, knowledge base that makes a civilization civilized. To do anything else, is to allow civilization, after any collapse scenario, to descend into barbarity, anarchy or tyranny. To learn the lessons of that collapse by the one thing that defines a prepper, objective reason, and make adjustments to the future society through your own children. That the mind of man must be preserved or the mind will turn towards nothing but survival, a new dark age and again, civilization will be lost. The prepper is the last centurion, standing at the gates of Rome.

      Entirely off-topic here,

Any of you catch the brouh-ha-ha shaping up between Microsoft and the NSA in the press?

Microsoft SWEARS that it doesn’t provide “Direct Access’ to things like it’s crypto keys and the internals of Outlook or it’s server networks to ‘None such Agency’, Yes?

Let’s examine that a bit more closely…in a different light. In the mid 2000’s, when the US DOJ was VIGOROUSLY pursuing MS for ‘Anti-trust violations’ without any end-in-sight do you REMEMBER the outcome of that?

If not, then let me refresh your memory here: In the span of less than a month the circumstance went from full-tilt prosecution of MS, which was to lead to imminent sanctions against same, to the ENTIRE case against them simply evaporating!…in only a MONTH! After that you didn’t so much as HEAR a single peep out of the US DOJ about Microsoft AMYMORE…nada, zip…zilch. Almost as a certainty MS GAVE the crypto-keys with which it loads all those WONDERFUL, MYSTERIOS ‘updates’ onto yor computer every time you SPIT to the US DOJ…and by extension, the NSA as well. There are alre3ady all kinds of suggestions trhat several of the dll’s on any MS-based computer are – in effect – WRITTEN by the NSA itself…take a hint here Ya’ll.

From that day forward I have had the question running around in my mind, “WHAT did MS GIVE the Feds that was so Big that it “bought them” a reprieve for the hounds, Hmmm?

For what it is worth, aince that time I WIPE my entire system at least once a month (at the hardware level now with an AMD based chip[set that allows me to step away from the OS entirely and print an arbitrary pattern on my hard drives. I STRONGLY suggest that you LEARN to keep your actual DATA on something other than the primary partition where Windows resides…so that you can at least ‘Nuke the OS’ at need without destroying what you have garnered over time. It IS better if you can use a second hard-drive/array to hold your stuff; then, when you need to nuke the OS you can do so with complete safety for your personal data.

As soon as you have a fresh install of the OS, tell Windows to REMOVE Internet Explorer…completely, set all of the cache’s and other “compartments” to zero, or to be zero’d on exit, set your ‘cookies’ to ‘Do Not Allow’ and your privacy to ‘High’. That is just the beginning to what you need to do in toto…but a GOOD one. Use any variant of FireFox, the options you set in MS Windows control panel for ‘Internet Options’ will NOT affect how FireFox handles it’s own cookies…you WILL need to instruct it internally HOW you want those handled. As a suggestion, NEVER let ‘third party cookies exist on your ‘pute’; as well, tell FireFox to wipe ALL stored data when it closes. Yep, it’s a PAIN in the ASS, but which way do you want it?…that way OR from a 7 foot tall cell-MATE named ‘Cleavon’…Figuratively or Literally, the CHOICE is yours, Eh?

It’s time to get ‘Mercenary’ about this spying crap Folks…do it or end up in a FEMA camp at the Emd. DON’T give those “rat-fux” anymore than you absolutely have to…Oh, and REMEMBER to buy lots of ROPE and Rope Company stocks…we’ll need THOSE soon, ‘brush up on your “hangmens’s noose” knotting skill’s too. 😉

Why don’t you just use Linux?

    39. ZombieDawg

MayBeso – a better suggestion is to automatically have all browsers save content to an encrypted thumbdrive, like I do.
What happens if you get raided before you can wipe your HDD?
Tough luck for you!! I found that out the hard way…
With a thumbdrive, yank it and hide it fast. EASY !
You can hide a thumdrive quickly, cleverly and it won’t be found. eg secret compartment in an old shoe heel.
Takes seconds and do you think a Fed is going to check your old shoes? Even if they do, it’s encrypted and will take ’em 10 years to decrypt it.

      • MayBeSo

        @ ZombieDawg,

Right GOOD suggestion Bud, one of a variety of things to think about when dealing with the ‘Spooks’. An absolute effin shame that our country has gone so far down the dark road it has.

By no means am I asserting that I am a ‘Wiz’ at any of this stuff, what is above is just a tiny fraction of what – I am sure – are a lot of really brilliant ways of handling the current situation….ANYONE here who has good suggestions (such as your’s!) by all means ‘Pipe-up’,…surely we need all the Good HELP we can get. Thanks for the insights!

Why are you idiots complaining? This is nothing more than the direct result of an unregulated, free market. I thought all you idiots were free marketeers. It sounds like you prefer some central planning instead.

When? The doodoo hits the fan? For fun and profit I chainsaw peoples dead trees. I used to pay to dump logs. Now cut at about 22″ piled up on my front lawn people come by to ask if wood is trash or just take it. Not a lot of fireplaces out here. They even want branches. I’m a locksmith so I see personal things. 5 or so water drums. New gardens for obvious starters. Boxes of freeze dried food. Sometimes I need a part time worker. Then little takers. Now plenty of people actually willing to work and happy as can be for $10 hour under the table. Homeless seams to have increased. Crime up. Real jobs down. Different mentality from 1929 depression. Having seen hunger outside this country, I can say we are sinking to bad (bader) times that many Americans have no concept of. My supermarket sold very little dry beans, now 50 pound bags. That’s alright it’s just a dream. Go back to sleep. Tomorrow pres Obedo has it all under control.

again the media trying to fool ya, this is not a “hunting” vehicle in the common sense of the word..

      unless its humans you hunt.

anyone who hunts back woods sees this as a ruse, too wide, too low ground clearance , too poor visibility..and just plain gay(not homosexual) thinking the MFG was going for urban assult, and may not have paid our government enough yet to play.. time will tell, wait to see it in your next Boston Martial law try out., or something very close

What a joke…that’s a piece of urban warfare machinery and wouldn’t get 50′ off the road before it bottomed out…especially in wet weather…your right this thing is so sissified it ought to be painted pink camo! Ill stick with my old CJ 🙂

Five random things Preppers asks themselves-

1- Does this camo blend in well with my surroundings?
2- How long does this food stay preserved?
3- Where’s another alternate water source, just in case?
4- Should we do a weekend practice run with no electricity?
5- How much ammo is enough? (answer- there’s no such thing as enough)

Five random things sheeple ask themselves-

1- Does this diet coke cancel out the calories from those donuts?
2- We have to pass it to see what’s in it, don’t we?
3- People smarter than me are keeping the economy going, so there’s no need to worry about it, right?
4- Why don’t those rednecks realize that the less guns there are, the less crime there is?
      5- Where’s the remote?

Five random things an okie asks himself-

1- Is this pick-up gonna run long enough to use a full tank of gas? (probably not, better just put in $10)
2- Is that a cop parked ahead in the median? (taps the brakes just in case)
3- Is it true that Leonardo DaVinci invented pepperoni? (wonder who invented thick crust?)
4- Do the new neighbors mind my midnight target practice? (and do they suspect anything about the still?)
5- Can the true meaning of life be found in a Pink Floyd album? Or even a single Garth Brooks song? (answer- pert near)

        Which Pink Floyd album?

        • SmokinOkie

THE STOCK MARKET IS TOTALLY ON WELFARE! This morning the stock market was going to tank because it was SUGGESTED that the stimulus was going to dry up. Well that chicken chaser helicopter ben made everything all better by making a statement that whenever the economy needed help, the stimulus would still be there. Everybody is so relieved and up goes market futures.

It use to be that stock market went up or down because of the actually strength or weakness of the purchasing or selling of stocks in relation to what was happening with companies around the country. 30 top ones for the dow and of course 500 for the SP 500. Now the stock market is totally on a welfare state, and the second that GOVERNMENT ENTITLEMENTS dry up and even the thought of this sends mass panic into the markets and there is mass selling. That is an economy that is no longer based on a free market, but the markets based on welfare and the absolute need for that money to continue to come in, OR ELSE.

A “free” market basing its survival on the government handouts is no longer a free market, it is a dependent market on phantom money. It is market living on the debt of the government. If that is not a total recipe for disaster. But everything is happy in Looney Tunes because the stock market is up. The real collapse of society is that the masses have all gone to Idiotland to worship King Stupid and all the jesters of the Royal Court of Retardates. The masses have truly been smooth screwed and are coming back for more, enjoying it, and demanding more.

Of course not, fairness and common sense is gone with them, they just want to get whitey and riot and get some free mechandize from the local stores. EXCUSE TO RIOT is the theme here.

    48. CrabbeNebulae

Opened up a quart jar of hard red wheat this morning and a quart of brown rice that I put up back in 1994 (yes… 19 years ago!!!). Ran it through my grinder on course to crack it for cereal. Mixed half cup of cracked wheat and half cup of cracked brown rice in a pot and cooked it up for breakfast. Tastes awesome!!! Cracked brown rice is a great substitute for grits. Back in 1994 I saw SHTF coming and started preparing by putting up almost 20 cases of quarts of wheat, oats, barley, brown rice and corn and have acquired a lot more since (in buckets). I acquired the original 20 cases of quarts for free… just had to dig them out of the dirt in an old barn. Originally it was an experiment to see if I could save my grain from getting eaten by bugs and it worked like a charm. Clean the jars. Sterilize them in boiling water. Place the grain in metal inserts and heat it in the oven to about 150 degrees for 20-30 minutes. (Stir occasionally to keep from scorching). Dry the jars. Pour the hot dry grain into hot sterilized jars, wipe the top clean and put on a top. When the jar cools it will pull a partial vacuum just like regular canning. This will keep indefinitely. We bake bread weekly and my wife bakes bread occasionally from our original quart jar stash to see how it has held up and the bread always comes out great!!. For putting up grain, you can also use plain glass mayonnaise jars if you have them since there will be nothing to spoil in this case. However, you should never use mayonnaise jars for regular canning since the rims are not as thick as regular Mason canning jars and they are not tempered and will not hold up to pressure cooking. They can however be used to put up dried herbs, grain and some pickling in a plain hot water bath.

That’s an idiotic waste of money. Pretty sure all cars made in the last decade already have GPS trackers. If you remember, OR was going to require it but then the argument went mute. As you well know, OnStar and others use a cell phone to call in and since 2004 or so all cell phones have been required to have people tracking. I don’t know the tracking exactly; but am fairly certain all late model cars have serialized-number tracking into skynet at all times. Obviously. Probably injecting kids with biodots too when they claim to be doing vaccines. Doubtless taking DNA samples from any baby born at the H. If you know, they tell the mother they “must prick the child” before she or they will be allowed to leave. Fact.

17:30… FRB pumping 6.25% of GDP so economy should go up 6.25% but if going up 2%; ergo in a 4% contraction really. Makes some other good points about how medicare costs are 500% of product/service cost and looks like its a form of racqueteering.

Not sure I buy the “contraction” as affecting the USA at large: its just a 6.25% theft from those who have earned and saved and apparently the thieves piss away most of it before even buying anything!

    51. Watchman

      Division of Labor
Snap quiz: Which is better—to have each of your 16-man squad prepare his own supper, taking about a half hour each, or to have one cook take about two hours to prepare everyone’s meal?
Having each man prepare his own meal takes about 8 man-hours of labor; having a cook does it takes only 2. That frees up another 6 man-hours of work for improving camouflage and fortifications, or conducting training, or…
Time is precious; once it is gone, you can’t get it back. As a leader, you should always look for ways to save time and labor—you will never have enough of either.

      Keep the FAITH

Most likely they will torture & kill you to be shure they find any hidden cashes you might have. Why not this? You prep and take care of & feed you & yours. And ill do the same with me & mine. there is a great culling coming. Those single mothers dont have a male present for some reason. 99% of the time its a negative reason. You cant save everyone.
