The Mexican foreign ministry has launched a formal protest in response to Governor Rick Perry’s decision to send Texas National Guard Troops to the southern border.
According to a head-scratching statement released by Mexico, there is apparently no border security problem and the State of Texas has grossly overreacted.
Mexico “reiterates, in a firm and categorical way, its rejection of this measure,” read a statement from the foreign ministry.
“No circumstance at all or change in border security exists that justifies this measure taken by the state.”
The troop deployment “does not contribute in any way to solving the immigration problem,” and is inconsistent with US-Mexico talks aimed at “building a modern, prosperous and safe border,” the statement read.
Governor Rick Perry called up 1,000 Texas National Guard Troops in an effort to curb the flow of illegal immigrants into the state. Several dozen troops began arriving in the Rio Grande Valley last week as part of the state’s Joint Counterdrug Task Force.
While Mexican officials may protest and propagandize the situation, the evidence is clear. There has been a significant change in the circumstances on our southern border in recent months and tens of thousands of migrants, including criminal drug cartel and gang members, have made their way into the United States. Moreover, the Mexican government itself is facilitating the mass migrations.

The foreign ministry says that they want to create a safe and prosperous border, yet some 70,000 people have been violently killed in Mexican border cities in the last 6 years as part of the ongoing drug war.
Is this what the ministry means when they say they want to build a modern and prosperous border region?

And while Mexico may be negotiating with the U.S. government about how to best handle immigration policy, to suggest that deploying Texas National Guard Troops does not “contribute in any way” to solving the immigration problem” is patently ridiculous.
Perhaps it doesn’t solve the problem of how Mexican officials can move thousands of people into the United States illegally, but it certainly helps to slow down the migration from America’s perspective.
Up until recently a sparse group of Border Patrol agents were stretched out across the border. Now, those attempting to cross over will be faced with a more formidable force:

We have militarized federal law enforcement agents who have been tasked with securing internal travel points throughout the United States.
Maybe it’s time we send the heavy firepower down south instead:

Despite the protests from Mexico, there is only one way to ensure the security of the U.S. border from foreign threats and it involves utilizing our military in the same way that the Mexican government is utilizing their military on their own southern border.

The Ferguson Cop Shooting of the Black Thug is a reminder for the need of High Capacity Magazines. Oh, Americans would do them…but not for minimum wage. Pay a realistic wage and those jobs would be filled. However, the Mexicans are being let in so that businesses can continue to pay substandard wages for these jobs. It’s not that I support a ridiculous minimum wage increase ($15 an hour…really?) but I do support letting market forces force the cost of labor for these jobs higher.

The Mexican government has never, not ever truly shown any compassion for the poor campesinos that make up the majority of their population, they are just chattel to either the PRI, the narcotrafficante cartels, or the local corrupt officials. Any government official in Mexico, IS, a corrupt piece of excrement. I personally don’t give a rat’s a** what the Mexican government “thinks” about Texas having their own National Guard on our border.
SCREW MEXICO! It’s time to seize the assets of the cartels, and freeze the assets (or just take them) of the Mexican politicians and build a decent border fence all the way along our border with Mexico. Put a “border security” tax on ALL financial transaction going to or from Mexico, until we get the funds to build and protect our southern border. It should be at least 20% of the value of the transaction. Screw Mexico and its’ corrupt politicians and government. Ban all US travel to Mexico, period, until Mexico can control illegal immigration and smuggling from ITS side of the border.
If you “vacation” in Mexico, you are funding the corrupt activities of the Mexican government against the Estados Unidos. Not one dime to Mexico, ever again.

No one has mentioned it yet, but progress on border sealing could really be made if the Governors of the other 3 southern border states would join with Texas in utilizing the NG.
But other than Arizona — that’s probably unlikely — New Mexico hasn’t the guts, and California is so far gone to the left that they’re hopeless.
But then — stopping the influx at the Texas and Arizona border would likely increase the flow into the resultant easier places (New Mexico and California), and one can only wonder how long their citizens would be able to tolerate it, before they, too, woke up.

The real, low cost and most effective way of closing down the border is a three step process:
First, finish the G-damned fence! Three layers, 16 feet tall, and sensors every 50 feet. Don’t tell me we cannot secure the border. We built the G-damned Panama Canal! We can sure as shell build a couple thousand miles of triple layer fence;
Second, we pass a law that instead of foreign aide being distributed as one package in a single bill, each country that gets aide from us is individually assessed each year as to the wisdom of getting out help and how much;
Third, we advise Mexico (and all of our other neighbors around the planet) that for each and every individual that enters our country illegally each year from their country we will deduct the GAO averaged cost of services being provided to that individual from the foreign aide package their country receives, plus a penalty of $5,000.
I guarantee the illegal flood will cease…and the Mexicans will have their own troops on the border making sure no illegals make it across the border.
Problem solved.

This invasion and government complicity parallels gun control. Law abiding immigrants are burdened with onerous conditions and procedures and fees while criminal illegal immigrants are allowed to flood in. And armed criminals are given a pass on “gun control” laws which apply only to the law-abiding and honest.
