As Wikileaks co-founder, Julian Assange’s health is deteriorating in a British prison, but the journalist was able to get a letter out to the public. In the war on freedom of speech, Assange is asking everyone else who stands against corruption to take his place and keep speaking truth to power.
“Julian’s case is of major historic significance. It will be remembered as the worst attack on press freedom in our time,” said WikiLeaks editor-in-chief Kristinn Hrafnsson, urging people everywhere to oppose their politicians, courts, police, and prisons from being abused to “leave this black stain on history.”
In a handwritten letter from Belmarsh prison, Assange says he is being denied a chance to defend himself and that elements (government officials) in the United States that “hate truth, liberty, and justice.” Assange says that the U.S. government wants him extradited and dead for telling the public the horrifying truth about their government.
The letter was sent to independent British journalist Gordon Dimmack, according to an article by RT. It was dated May 13 – ten days before the U.S. announced 17 additional charges under the Espionage Act against the jailed whistleblower. In light of the new indictment, Dimmack read out the letter in a YouTube video. A photo of the handwritten note was soon posted online as well.

Assange’s situation shines a light on the lengths the U.S. government will go to in order to prevent the truth from getting out. “I have been isolated from all ability to prepare to defend myself: no laptop, no internet, ever, no computer, no library, so far, but even if I get access, it will just be for a half an hour, with everyone else, once a week,” Assange wrote. “The other side? A superpower that has been preparing for 9 years, with hundreds of people and untold millions spent on the case.”

Assange’s well being has been diminished during his time in prison. Even before his arrest, his health was faltering. “The decision of prison authorities to move [Assange] to the health ward speaks for itself,” said WikiLeaks, adding that Assange has lost a lot of weight and was barely able to speak to his Swedish lawyer last week.
“Assange’s health situation on Friday was such that it was not possible to conduct a normal conversation with him,” his lawyer Per Samuelson told reporters after visiting Belmarsh. The quote was barely reported on in Sweden, let alone elsewhere. The media has already taken sides and it’s against free speech.
When you speak the truth, you’re in big trouble. The US wants to charge Assange under the espionage act, which comes with the death penalty. They claim he is not a journalist. I guess to be a real journalist , you must be trained by the alphabet agencies.
Authoritarian regimes exist in a world of lies, so Julian is a threat that must be eliminated. Perhaps the last truthful journalist will be killed in a british prison.

My massive release of tens of thousands of pages of non-vital, non-empowering, non-actionable info will happen, in one month (not sure which month), at midnight (it’s always midnight somewhere), following this great big press event, right here. I can say I tried 8 times to get the sheriff dept to arrest them and they refused. The judge will ask, Mr xxxx Where were you standing when this occurred? My dogs( I have 5) free roam the entire property.
My pigs, cattle, mule, and donkey are pets and will bother you

Nobody goes through the gates or jumps the fence.

If LEOs are caught in corruption it’s not by their own “Internal Affairs” who’s real job is protecting the department. The FBI has nabbed Philadelphias narcotics strike force about every two decades. These pillars of integrity owned homes in Stone Harbor NJ which is VERY expensive and being LEOs they hung out with other LEOs but no one questions how they afforded such an affluent home.
I don’t fault people for actually talking about the corruption and not being silent.
We’re talking about Assange’s celebrity status, not anyone’s corruption. It’s not in the articles, anywhere. You usually won’t have any link, locating anything in the massive data dumps. It’s like watching one of those webcam girls brush her teeth, or sit on the toilet, and asking how he is doing, today. (Assange doesn’t feel good, today. The embassy had some hygiene issues.)
Assange never seems to be able to pinpoint any Achille’s hill or the proverbial kryptonite, though. Where would you point me to.
Bulk data is purposeless, like that.
In many cases, we were supposed to be waiting (waiting, waiting) for that premium info.
But, it hasn’t changed anyone’s daily interactions, with sociopaths, who can be found on the way to your mailbox, on the way to your refrigerator, or on your daily errands outside of the house. Noone has leveraged this info to accomplish anything in particular, or can you show how it has changed your life?
Where is the chink in the armor or the hole in the dyke? Is there a break pedal that makes this ride stop. Assange never shows you anything particularly purposeful, of which I am aware.
Or, show me what have I missed? This would be a good story.

If you had bought any of the advertised items, here, and used them to satisfy some physical need without the state nanny, or if you had used Assange’s “info” for anything at all, that would not have been in vain.
The inference you make is that Wiki-Leaks is/was “non-vital, non-empowering, non-actionable info?”
America and the world is screwed because of such ‘stinkin’ thinkin’.

I hope Assange gets well. If he dies in prison, he will be an even more powerful martyr for truth in journalism and a free press; making his oppressors look like fools.

What Assange has said about US crimes is public news and can be found on the internet, he and the Chelsea Manning malfeasance military disclosures. That’s where I read it. Problem is that the majority just do not care and can’t take the law breathing down their necks. As in life is short, let somebody else worry about it.
If Julian is getting sicker and sicker in custody, it makes me wonder if his captors are poisoning him in there, to silence him before the mock trial. Hope he has one hell of a dead-mans switch set up.
