In order to silence protests suggesting President Obama is not a natural born citizen of the United States, and thus unable to serve as the Commander In Chief, the President’s staff released a Certification of Live Birth as evidence of his eligibility. As we outlined in a previous article, there are millions of Americans who aren’t convinced, and they want more proof:
Though a Certification of Live Birth has been made available to the public by numerous sources including this link at the LA Times, there is a dispute as to whether or not this document proves that the President was born in the USA. The question regarding the document is not in its legitimacy, it is in the fact that in 1961, anyone, regardless of where they were born, could obtain such a certificate in Hawaii if they were a resident and requested a certification from the Hawaii Medical Examiner’s office. The document does not necessarily prove his birth in Hawaii, because it does not include a hospital or the name of the doctor who delivered him, which from our understanding, is a requirement on Birth Certificate, as opposed to a Certification of Live Birth.
The new governor of Hawaii wants to put an end to the debate. According to the New York Times newly elected Hawaiian Governor Neil Abercrombie is looking for ways to release proof of Mr. Obama’s natural born status:
Gov. Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii, who befriended President Obama’s parents when they were university students here, has been in office for less than three weeks. But he is so incensed over “birthers†— the conspiracy theorists who assert that Mr. Obama was born in Kenya and was thus not eligible to become president — that he is seeking ways to change state policy to allow him to release additional proof that the president was born in Honolulu in 1961.
“It’s an insult to his mother and to his father, and I knew his mother and father; they were my friends, and I have an emotional interest in that,†Governor Abercrombie said in a telephone interview late Thursday. “It’s an emotional insult. It is disrespectful to the president; it is disrespectful to the office.â€
The governor, a Democrat and former congressman, said he has initiated conversations with the state’s attorney general and the chief of its Health Department about how he can release more explicit documentation of Mr. Obama’s birth on Aug. 4, 1961, at Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital. He said he has done so of his own accord, without consulting the White House, which declined to comment.
The Governor did not make mention of exactly what documentation would be used to finally prove the President’s natural born status.
[Note that the very term “natural born” is also in dispute, with some arguments suggesting that any child born on U.S. soil, regardless of the nationality of their parents is a natural born citizen, while others argue that both, the father, mother and child must be born on U.S. soil to qualify. There are many varying viewpoints on who is or is not natural born – some are presented here.]
The President has reportedly spent upwards of $2 million dollars defending law suits questioning his eligibility status. Had he wanted to release these records to the public he would already have done so.
The questions surrounding the President’s Certificate of Live Birth, his refusal to release the original birth certificate,the millions spent on defending against law suites, and other inconsistencies surrounding the President’s history (like his college visit to Pakistan when US passport holders weren’t allowed to enter the country suggesting Obama would have had to have traveled as a citizen of another country, as well as suggestions by Michelle Obama and President Obama’s own grandmother that he was born in Kenya) continue to add fuel to the fire.
Perhaps the Governor could do us all a favor and finally put this to rest.
The “birthers,” as those seeking eligibility evidence have been called, would likely be satisfied with the release of an actual certified copy of Barrack H. Obama’s Birth Certificate, not his Certification of Live Birth.
It boils down to this: Either release the birth certificate, or there will always be Americans who question the President’s eligibility status. It’s that simple.
The Government can “make up” any document they want..because it is their agencies and bureaucracies that produce such documents in the first place..
funny how all the other presidents as far as i know didnt have any issues with this, or werent questioned..and why wasnt it something that was proven or known way before he even ran for president, let alone being ignored for so long,, if you have nothing to hide and proof on your own..it doesnt have to come to any sitation such as this.

It ain’t just about the actual birth “certificate” . It’s about all the documents that establish a “foot print” of his existence and collaborates his nativity story of his birth, life and history.
There is a legitimate question to be raised on his qualifications of being eligible, and it is not only whether he was born to an American mother and birthed in Hawaii or elsewhere. The big deal is his father was a British subject, in the States on visa’s and scholarships. Meaning because of his father’s status, a foreign national, O is not a naturalized born citizen as required by the Constitution. This is not a matter of his right to privacy, as being President is the only office that requires “proof” of citizenship.
For those that propose because he is in office, too bad too sad, nope! First, he should have had to prove citizenship like John McCain. Second, because he wasn’t vetted as required and the congress and media did not do their jobs, voters were not informed there was an issue and he therefore, should not “win” just because he was voted in. There should be a congressional hearing and his documents and bonifides confirmed or be impeached.
He has paid over two million dollars to private lawyer firms to have “all” his, his mothers, step fathers and sister’s passport, school adoption and work history records hidden. What’s up with that if he is who he pretends to be. There already are documents showing his mother and father did not live together as O states in his Dreams of his Father book for his first two years after his birth. Daddy had his bachelor pad in Hawaii documented in newspaper articles and directory info. His mother with him had returned a couple of weeks after his birth to Washington State attending classes at University of Washington, an interview with the babysitter for O, an apartment and phone directory documents for her address and phone number.
For those wanting to label me a “birther” or racist for saying something doesn’t smell right – go ahead. It ain’t about the color of his skin, it’s about the telling of the truth, and whether it was O or Bush or McCain that should have been forthcoming when he decided to run. After all, the man was a Constitutional professor and knew the requirements, but choose instead to deceive, lie and commit fraud to get into office. As a citizen that doesn’t sit well with me regardless of your party or race.

Lefty, every indication eventually leads one to recognize an extraordinary level of planning in the process of bringing this man to the presidency. From the unlikely and way-too-coincidental to be true personal associations, to the manufacturing of his documents by his grandmother no less, to the hand-selecting of Obama’s father to be brought to Hawaii in the first place….all starts to look like a grand scheme to bring Obama to power. A honest-to-goodness Manchurian candidate. That suggests planning, corruption, and deceit from the get-go. It suggests a political arrangement that leaves the voter’s choice irrelevant. He seems to have been chosen, as insane as that sounds. Conspiratorial to the highest degree? Maybe. Assuming that have of what I mentioned is true, coming forward with the documentation starts to go well beyond citizenship and the right to preside over this nation. It sets ‘them’ up to explain how the citizenry has been scammed at every level, and that their vote NEVER counted! Imagine explaining that to the people? I’m kinda a facts person. If true about the Hawaii grandma, you brought up some good info. It would make sense. I take it there is more then she was just working at a bank the CIA & alphabet soup agencies used.
To clarify, there were no marriage records or witnesses to same have been found for mommy and daddy. (Is that because he claimed a wife -bush wife, but wife the same- in Kenya?) American norms would consider him married already. Â
The mother Ann, filed for divorce in 1964 under grounds of grievous mental suffering. Strange, since there is proof they didn’t live together and he, the father, in news articles never mentioned his Hawaii wife and child. This was pre-no fault divorce. For the youngsters out there, getting a divorce in those days was a big deal. My take, the divorce was strictly a cover to support a lie the family had put out there. Not being married meant O was born a bastard. Bastard like divorce, was a big deal in those days with societal and legal repercussions. I can understand a young mother trying to protect her child.
Daddy was on his way to his next scholarship, Stanford, and begetting yet another family, when Ann the mother returned to the Rock and filed for divorce.

Obama does not need to be a natural born citizen to be president of a corporation which is what UNITED STATES is.
US gov was done away with in 1871 and a corporation was formed called UNITED STATES. This corp went bankrupt in 1933 and was taken over by it’s creditors. It is a FOREIGN owned corporation. Sooo, no birth cert necessary.
The Natural Born Citizen issue has NOTHING to do with a birth certificate. Even if Obama was born in Hawaii, which he wasn’t, but even if he was – he is a U.S. Citizen by the fact his mother was a U.S. Citizen. End of citizenship story; but irrelevant to the Natural Born Citizen clause of Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5 of OUR constitution.
The Natural Born Citizen clause dates back to the writing of OUR constitution in which Emer D. Vattel’s Law of Nations was used amongst other citations. The NBC clause specifically delineates the President must be a U.S. Citizen born to two U.S. Citizens. Obama’s mother was, Obama’s father WAS NOT!!! Obama’s father was a Kenyan national subject to British rule at his birth in 1961. Obama’s father never even applied for U.S. Citizenship.
Obama is NOT ELIGIBLE under Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5 of OUR United States Constitution – regardless of the birth certificate issue which is hence irelevant.

Something is wrong with the birth story. A reporter went to Kenya and saw the Kenyan paperwork proving he was born there. Now that paperwork is “unavailable”. Obama’s Kenyan aunt and grandmother claimed they were present when he was born in Kenya. Now they say “no comment”.  The “official” notification of live birth from Hawaii inexplicably uses the wrong format for the sequence number. This format was changed shortly after Obama would have been born. Someone forging the papers didn’t know that the format had changed and made a mistake that could not have happened had it been the real certificate of live birth. Obama has spent millions (of our money) to prevent anyone seeing the authentic paperwork. Why?? I have to show my birth certificate to get a passport and Obama doesn’t have to show his to become president!!!
The problem is that there is a Lt. Col named Terry Latkin that is in Leavenworth Prison because a military judge wouldn’t allow him to ask for obamas birth certificate or bring witnesses (wnd.com)
