“…for two weeks the mob had been rioting uncontrolled in the streets…The economy of the greatest empire that the world had ever seen was coming apart like an unraveling sweater…the cost of maintaining…gigantic armed forces…was bleeding the nation white and in addition there were the heavy subsidies that had to be paid to the…nations dependent…for support. The impoverished government had neither the funds nor the power to stop the riots.”
Readers, are we close to such a point? It happened, for the excerpt above was taken from the book, Those About to Die, by Daniel P. Mannix, written in 1958, and the nation was the Roman Empire. There are many similarities between the decline and fall of Rome and the decline of the United States of America, standing upon the threshold of its fall.
As you well know, the economy is stretched to its breaking point, and the American Empire has over-extended itself, much in the manner of the now-defunct Roman Empire. As with Rome, the United States has experienced a severe influx of illegal aliens, encouraging “immigration” by individuals who (most of them) come to the U.S. not to contribute, but to consume, or even worse: to “conquer,” as a fifth-column. The conquest (especially for illegal aliens crossing the border illegally from Central and South America) is actually seen as such: a “retaking” of Aztlan, alleged land in the U.S. these aliens claim historically as their own, the whole “process” called La Reconquista, or “the re-conquest.”
The Roman Empire had done this, in a manner:
“Throughout its history, [the Roman Empire] had taken in outsiders: a constant stream of individuals looking to make their fortune…supplemented by large-scale migrations.”

“Multiculturalism” as is very evident in Europe (the latest being Norway, paying non-Norwegian individuals up to $9,800 to pack up and leave) is currently tearing the countries of Europe apart. France, Germany, Sweden, and Britain, among others. Individuals that do not speak the native language maintain their cultures of origin without assimilating, and they end up on the public dole.
Here in the U.S. this is a direct extension of Cloward-Piven, to be able to reduce the populace to one that is completely dependent upon the government for all support. Ancient Rome had the daily bread dole and heavy subsidies for Roman workers who could not compete with the cheaper goods from foreign labor and imports.
And our fiat monetary system is about to collapse. Dave Hodges recently put out an article entitled Key Bankers Told Bank Holiday is Near-Read This Before Taking Money Out of the Bank, and this article reveals that the bankers are preparing for “widespread banking failure.” Such preparations have included “dry runs” in conjunction with FEMA and DHS. The bankers held a secret meeting in Albuquerque, NM, where the participants signed non-disclosure statements. In a manner right out of Solzhenitsyn’s “Gulag Archipelago I,” if these bankers violate them and leak information, all of their property will be confiscated and they will proceed directly to Fort Leavenworth, KS for a 25-year sentence at hard labor.
In the manner of Ancient Rome, corruption is rampant in the economy and in all sectors of governmental leadership to enable such a thing to transpire. A report is in circulation that even precious metals vendors are worse than the banks themselves: for every 325 ounces “sold” on paper, the report has it, only 1 physical ounce is in the possession of the company “selling” the gold. This is paralleled by our own crooked Federal Reserve System.
A few years ago, Sheila Bair (then CEO of the FDIC) revealed that depositors were insured up to $50 billion dollars. Ms. Bair neglected to mention that bank accounts totaled $1 trillion in deposits. Fractional reserve banking allowed these financial institutions to lend out $5 for every $1 taken in. A casino is more honest: they actually have the money to pay you, and you’re actually allowed to cash in your chips without a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) being filed.
For those of you waiting for acknowledgement of it, yes, all of this ties in with the globalist oligarchs intentionally collapsing the system to be able to enable the downfall of the U.S. and the transformation into a global government with them at the head. Interesting to watch is the situation developing in Ukraine, where the Ukrainian military has agreed to take part in NATO exercises in Poland as a member nation.
It is a fact that the current Ukrainian government is a puppet, created by the U.S. State Department and the Administration by the U.S.-sponsored coup d’état and the ousting of Yanukovych. None of this could have been accomplished by the U.S. without the support and go-ahead of the IMF and the banking oligarchs from the Western nations. We will see what this will cause, as this is a direct provocation to Russia, who has declared that it will not allow a NATO takeover of Ukraine, from a military or economic perspective.
Domestically the secret meetings and backroom deals between the major “too big to fail” (but not too big to fleece the U.S. taxpayer to bail out) financial institutions clearly points to an event on the horizon where they intend to directly or indirectly collapse the financial system. The criminal Federal Reserve has raised interest rates, as the phony employment numbers and faked recovery statistics are glowingly embellished and parroted by the mainstream media whose lips kiss every proffered part of the administration, the masters of the press.
Pure common sense dictates that our economy, as with Ancient Rome’s, is coming apart at the seams, sped along by those whose only interests are of power and the promulgation of power. To summarize, I utilize the aforementioned work of Mr. Peter Heather, with his closing words:
“By virtue of its unbounded aggression, Roman imperialism was ultimately responsible for its own destruction.”
The United States has followed in this way: its officials are corrupt, and the population is morally defunct and self-serving in the majority. A new time of the Dark Ages is upon us, and the saddest thing of all is that we have brought it upon ourselves. By complacency, or by direct actions, each of us has brought it upon ourselves. May God help all of us, and our country to not go the entire path of Ancient Rome.

You are 100% correct. We might have a chance if these loudmouth pessimists knew this. Their divisiveness is more destructive nationally than any issue they cry about. The country “has to fail and required to fail” for the pessimists (political and economic) to be right. Just like “Jesus” is the English translation of his Hebrew name, which was Y’shua (Joshua, or Jesus, which is the Greek version of Y’shua). Make sense?

As Christianity spread across Europe those biblical names became emulated. Some evolved. Some names were translated, the names had a meaning, thus they were translated by meaning to other languages.
Example: The name Jesus does not exist in Hebrew or Arimaic, it was a literal translation into Latin/Greek and means Deliverer, or Deliverance, or Savior.
It really isn’t a conspiracy or plot by Satan.

Must be one of those “miracles” I’ve read about. In reality, it seems more like one of the many back-dated myths than anything else.

No miracle, Moses was raised in the court of Pharoh and was taught along side the children of Pharoh to read and write in several languages, his mother who was his wet nurse would have taught him the language of the Hebrews who came from Canan and likely spoke and wrote Canaanite.
The alphabet of the Canaanites is sited as the likely source for Hebrew. If we believe there is a factual basis for the bible, we would need to accept that Moses was inspired of God, and therefore may have been an early inventor or at least improved on the written version of Hebrew. Moses then had decades to teach the scribes all they needed to know.
A couple years back I was in Baleze visiting ancient pyramids. At the site there was a display of hieroglyphic stone tablets (copies) from all over Central America. Even though the the various locations spoke different dialects, the written language was amazingly uniform? I made this observation to the guide, an amateur archeologist and it blew him away, he’d never heard this before. It seems that a scribe that could record and translate for kings and noblemen was highly valued in any ancient culture. The families or guilds that protected the written word, were likely all related. They were to the ancient world what international bankers are to the nations of our modern world.
In any battle between cities, one of the great spoils would be to get the other kings scribes and wise men, thus Daniel was taken to the court of Babylon. This meant there was a lot of cross breeding of ideas across regions that traded and competed with each other.

Government bonds are the safest place for your retirement funds as they won’t go negative.
The problem is this: The rate of inflation often times is higher than the rate of return on the government bonds.
The real problem is that most people can not take their retirement money out until the actually retire. So the MAN is holding their money hostage.
That is why I will hold my WHOSX fund until the day(s) of Wall Street carnage arrive, and I can sell it to reinvest elsewhere. There should be many good funds that have declined due to overall selling frenzy, which is the time to buy (and later sell high).

He also states that fund managers can adjust the mix of bond holdings in response to changing conditions. It delivers an impressive 8.1% compound annual return over the past decade.

The only means is to transfer credit paper into hard assets. Land, shelter, food, water, guns, bullets, etc. On a larger scale, companies with hard assets… and good management. Stock certificates are toilet paper and digitally held stocks can’t even be burned for warmth. Federal Reserve Notes are toilet paper. Survive this level of crash? John Stiner: I got I bonds, is that what you got? I have been doing a form of a bank run for sometime. When direct deposits hit the bank like retirement, SS and his military pension, I draw out cash, also get cash back at grocery stores, use debit for some purchases incl bartering items to stash away, etc. Me and others have CD’s in credit unions only, feel it’s safer than banks, T bills aren’t paying anything right now. I participated in a 457 plan. Money was taken out of my paycheck pre-tax then put into mutual funds. I used two organizations, Nationwide and ICMA.
The mutual funds purchase various stocks. When the stocks collapse, so do the mutual funds.
The biggest problem is that you can’t cash out and leave. You have to keep the money in the 457 plan until you retire or you quit your job.
I have since retired (in 2014). The big screwing I got is that the Government took 30%. 20% is the regular tax, then 10% more because I am less than 59 years old.
Turns out that I got less back than I put in. The government took all the earnings and some of the principal.
It made me realize that “saving for retirement” was just another government lie to screw the people over.
I had similar problems when I cashed out one 401k after 59.5. My payout was substantially lower than expected. Got nothing but by runaround on daily market numbers… but a buy is always jacked up and a sell jacked down. I am out of Wells Fargo. Thank God.
Why did you cash the whole amount out? I would have chosen to ride it out a bit longer till things improved. You don’t lose money until you actually sell.
I did ride out the market crash. This was well afterward. I transferred my accounts into a self-directed IRA… but my stock exposure was too high and I wanted to shift that one small account out. They did punish me, on leaving their bank, all the way around. I do not believe in buying stock anymore. All the corporations have shifted to Enron accounting so you can no longer read the books and see where they are. My guess is that money will disappear into the black hole. I hope having no mortgage, a garden, and life skills will take care of me anyway. If I am wrong… glory hallelujah.

I try hard to do the right things, but the Bigs are changing the rules so fast now it is like running in a nightmare. I have strengths, but I also have serious weaknesses. I am so not mechanical it would be funny if not so freaking painful. My son has always picked that up for me… starting at about 8 years old he was light years ahead of me. He jokes that I am either 100% or 0% on any given subject. An exaggeration, of course, but you get the idea. Bug out? I would have to go pale cuz all that equipment would never work in my hands. And yet I am a gardener. Sigh. When I read technical stuff on here my eyes glaze over.

I personally have come to dislike much of what we call tech these days because I see it used as a tool to mind eff the masses in many ways ? Yet I managed to use it effectively and built a great website to inform many people of the many illusions we all live under. Also how to heal themselves and get super strong and fit rather easily. And believe me I am NOT a techy at all. So focus on your strengths and get healthy and fit ! Your overall understanding is incredibly important as it is for anybody as a tool going forward. Just as our skill set is and you can expand that rather easily these days with the net! It is a two edged sword and can be used for your benefit. The main issue is understanding the many illusions forced on all of us ! That is what will set you free and put you on the best path.

The characteristics included manufactured goods being imported, devaluation of currency due to increased military spending, a mercenary army, control of the government by the rich and merchants, increasing gap between rich and poor, dependence on a non sustainable energy system etc.

My guess is they could continue to limp this system for a few more years. Unless – Europe collapses, we have a major terrorist attack like 911, a major racial incident, the bubba effect happens like the Bundy thing only this time they start shooting, gasoline supply issues, major coordinated cyber attacks, we already have issues with the coal companies they are killing them with regulations to the point of near bankruptcy and they are doing that before we have a suitable replacement.
I could go on…. But the point is that the chances that none of this, even multiple of these wont happen over the next year or two is just not realistic.
I for one believe that the big crash will be the best thing that has happened to America in a long time. That is what will wake up enough people and drive enough passion to restore our Republic.

Excellent article. The various reasons given for the fall, or as I prefer to call it, the implosion of the Roman Empire are varied. Certainly Rome debased their currency. They also continued to provide various forms of welfare and entertainment to keep the populace content. In the end, the status and value that could be obtained by remaining a Roman citizen was worthless. What happened? Farmers quit farming and walked away from their fields because the taxes were too high. Why work when you do not profit? Why work when the government takes all of your profit and leaves you with nothing? Oh this is going to happen in the USSA sooner, rather than later. Many of us have opted out and do not pay the IRS anything and this is intentional.

During the past couple of weeks, I’ve watched ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ several times. One of my favorite scenes contains the cautionary speech given by the political fixer to Judge Harper during a brief court recess.
It is jarring to hear him mention all of the jobs that would be affected by a court ruling against Mr Kringle:
Toy manufacturers (and union jobs, no less!), department stores, greeting card companies, candy makers….
….and most of those are long gone now. Many of the big department stores have closed or are on the ropes. Just try to find a toy made in the USA; if you do, it’s practically a curiosity in and of itself. Most greeting cards are printed in Asia. Candy still seems to be made here for the most part, but I notice increasingly that tiny print in hard-to-see shades of color on the back of some packages indicates that more and more candy is being made in Mexico.
The observation of just how dramatically the elements from this one movie scene have changed –and all of it happening just during the lifetime of most of us– provides us with a microcosm of the whole crumbling system.
I am sickened at the numbers of kids nowadays who are determined to get a college education so they can go into social work or public policy work or nonprofit work and put their shining liberal ideals into practice. Apparently they feel confident that there will be a never-ending flow of money to support non-productive paper-pushers; and given the current state of affairs, who can blame them?
I don’t know whether things will end with a bang or a whimper…. but either way, it sure makes since to stock up on goods now, while I still can. I just hope that I am able to hang on to what I own. That’s the part that is becoming more and more uncertain.

In the history of the world many different methods have been used by oppressive governments to control peoples and societies. At least these six methods were and are always used; control of land and its use, limiting the movement of people, control over the money and currency, trying to forbid the ownership of personal weapons, limiting information to a small circle, and distraction.
The ruling powers (regardless of what they call it) also always looked at the people as nothing more than a resource base for them. To tax and confiscate labor, time, effort, and goods. To fight their wars (that’s why propaganda is necessary, to convince and mislead the public into fighting). To be manipulated in ways to only help the rulers power to grow. For example, the taxpayers are subsidizing their own demise because the government will not stop illegal immigration, they are expanding it with more and more expensive programs and totally turning a deaf ear to us.
In addition to all this, the bereaucrats and elected officials despise the middle class. In literature from all over the world you can read how TPTB would say the people were nothing, only fit to exist as the state desires. You must stop believing that government is of, by, and for the people, this is a grotesque lie repeated again and again and again.
On an individual basis the only way ou can restore your personal dignity, worth, and sovereignty is withdraw as much as possible from interaction with government and all its institutions. Legally make yourself as poor as possible on paper to reduce taxes, stop voting- period, save your money (and not in banks), stop buying what you don’t need, educate yourself and think for yourself. Use your time for you and your family-not the “community”. Take nothing and ask for nothing. Insist on exercising your rights, ridicule the state and its minions frequently and publicly.
We cannot homogenize cultures like we make a cake. Even when we have all the elements to make the perfect cake it can still fall flat. Predictably when we put the more complicated elements of people from different nations together they like oil and water don’t mix without force. A government and a people who think that this may be accomplished by passage of a few laws are headed for the same fall as Rome. When we have cultures that are so different not just in basic knowledge but centuries in lifestyle cannot be put together without conflict. The forced introduction of our political organization cannot be forced upon religious practice rooted at the same level for centuries without progress in adapting to the modern world. When we have political force that tries they will be confronted by the pressure from both sides and again like Rome will fall. So without much of a prediction we can see where America heads.

As for for surviving the fall… Romans are still in Rome and Britons are still in Britain. Survival counts.
It may be a good thing to break up the USA into 4 or 5 new countries. Then we can move to the one that most appeals to each of us. For example, those who like heavy-handed, big brother government (usually the takers) can move to a new country where the state intrudes into people’s lives, have high taxes, heavy restrictive regulations, and everyone sucks the government teat; maybe in the new nation that would likely incorporate New England or West Coast. Those of us who treasure liberty, freedom, our God- given rights, and want to live our own lives (the producers) will live in another.
The quality of life and standard of living and security does not necessarily depend on the geographic a size of the nation. This fact is obvious by merely comparing those features in countries around the world. In case you haven’t noticed countries all over the world have been breaking apart (technology is enabling it, in reality government hates the Internet and personal computer technology) and this trend will only accelerate including in the USA, Canada, Russia, and China. Governments don’t like it but it is inevitable.
It is time to admit another truth, those countries that historically have had the least diverse societies are the ones that have existed the longest and had the longest periods of peace. In the long-term no nation can stand an internal clash of cultures, it usually breaks apart; and if not actually broken apart then reduced to third world status. Don’t think it can’t happen here, it can and it will and this is TPTB number one goal. This goal can only be stymied by the sheeple waking up on an intense and massive scale (but they won’t), or breaking apart the country to preserve our liberties and way of life in the new freedom-loving parts.
I don’t have a care where one comes from or what they look like; the important thing is they share with us a common practice and belief in our borders, language (English), and culture that unite us.
TPTB want dramatic population reduction; a dumbed-down world living an 18th century existence. The more the nations of the world fragment and societies demand their rights and dignity the more difficult it will be for TPTB to attain their goals.
