Amid the tensions in Iran and the destruction of a second nuclear facility (which is detailed in the original story below), we find it necessary to present our readers with an update made available via The Daily Crux and Zero Hedge, in which Major General Zhang Zhaozhong, a professor from the Chinese National Defense University, said China “will not hesitate to protect Iran even with a third World War.”
Trillions of dollars in debt and regional energy resources are at play here. Perhaps this is the reason Iran is publicly downplaying the threat and the U.S. is overtly ignoring the latest bombing/explosion at a second Iranian nuclear facility. Not a single news report of the incident is present on the homepages of major media outlets like CNN, NBC, ABC or Fox. For their part, Iran completely denies the explosion took place and national media agencies have reportedly pulled all references to the story, even though satellite images (detailed below) confirm it happened.

Either Iran’s nuclear and military programs are headed by imbeciles or their country is under attack.
Though Iran completely denied the incident yesterday, The Australian reports that satellite images confirm another Iranian military site has exploded:
Satellite imagery seen by The Times confirmed that a blast that rocked the city of Isfahan on Monday struck the uranium enrichment facility there, despite denials by Tehran.
The images clearly showed billowing smoke and destruction, negating Iranian claims yesterday that no such explosion had taken place. Israeli intelligence officials told The Times that there was “no doubt” that the blast struck the nuclear facilities at Isfahan and that it was “no accident”.
The explosion at Iran’s third-largest city came as satellite images emerged of the damage caused by one at a military base outside Tehran two weeks ago that killed about 30 members of the Revolutionary Guard, including General Hassan Moghaddam, the head of the Iranian missile defence program.
Iran claimed that the Tehran explosion occurred during testing on a new weapons system designed to strike at Israel. But several Israeli officials have confirmed that the blast was intentional and part of an effort to target Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
On Monday, Isfahan residents reported a blast that shook tower blocks in the city at about 2.40pm and seeing a cloud of smoke rising over the nuclear facility on the edge of the city.
“This caused damage to the facilities in Isfahan, particularly to the elements we believe were involved in storage of raw materials,” said one military intelligence source.
He would not confirm or deny Israel’s involvement in the blast, instead saying that there were “many different parties looking to sabotage, stop or coerce Iran into stopping its nuclear weapons program”.
Iran went into frantic denial yesterday as news of the explosion at Isfahan emerged. Alireza Zaker-Isfahani, the city’s governor, claimed that the blast had been caused by a military exercise in the area but state-owned agencies in Tehran soon removed this story and issued a government denial that any explosion had taken place at all.
A government cover up? Say it ain’t so.
There’s a war on. This was no accident.
The real question is, how, if at all, will Iran respond? Are they biding their time because they are finalizing a nuclear weapon that they intend to deploy against Israel or Western targets, or has all the machisimo displayed by Iranian President Ahmadinejad in recent years been nothing but talk?

In response to your earlier & literally fictional account regarding Grandpa & Auschwitz, allow me to point out that Auschwitz is located in POLAND and Poland happened to be on the EASTERN FRONT, meaning it fell into the Russian zone of the war.
If I recall correctly, it was Soviet Major General Golikov’s 3rd tank army that liberated Auschwitz in the mid-winter of ’44. So grandpa couldn’t have been there. Nice try though!

Here’s some history you will NOT hear from the ADL: One of my cousins was among the 20,000 Polish officers and intelligentsia murdered by Stalin’s Jewish NKVD at the Katyn Forest (and other places in the Soviet Union) in early 1940. Actually, Iran is NOT making nukes. It has called for the region to become a nuclear-FREE zone. Ahmadinejad argues that nukes are useless — they didn’t save the Soviet Union from collapse, and they didn’t save Israel from defeat in 2006 in Lebanon. China will not back Iran in a war. Russia and China are not Iran’s natural ally. Russia is using Iran for weapons sales,leverage against the West via the missile defense shield in Europe. Russia has had a long history with Muslims and they do not like them. Case in point Chechnya.Russia will never allow a Muslim country getting nukes. That is why Iran’s nuclear program is shitty as hell.Russia is doing that on purpose to slow down Iran’s path to nukes. China is using Iran for weapons sales and oil.
That being said war with Iran would be the dumbest thing our government can do. Iran does not have the delivery system for a nuke. Israel has about 400 nukes and can wipe out Iran in the matter of minutes, Israel is getting Dolphin nuclear submarines from Germany. Iran does not have the capability to miniaturize its nukes,put it on a warhead,and send somewhere. It will take Iran at least 10 years. So what Iran has two or three nuclear weapons with no good defense system and a poor economy?

That being said war with Iran is just plain dumb. Anyone with a modicum of knowledge in warfare and economics know it will be bad for the middle east stability and the global economy. Iran’s conventional military stands no chance to win a war with the US. However Iran can strike at Israel and the west through asymmetrical warfare.
Airstrikes against Iran by the US and Israel would delay Iran’s nuclear program by three years. Also the consequences would devastating across the middle east. . First, its nuclear program is built around deception,redundancy and hardening. Like the revelation of a second enrichment built under a mountain on a military base at Qom. Speaking of which, the facility at Qom also illustrates another feature – the amount of redundancy in its nuclear program. Since the US knew of Natanz, having a second site would have also made sense (and perhaps a third, and fourth, etc, whose existence has not yet been revealed). That way, limited bombing sorties of the sort that crippled the nuclear programs of nations like Syria or Iraq would not work in Iran.
Plus Iran has alot of retaliatory weapon on its plate. The Strait of Hormuz is very narrow. Our own ships have a hard time passing it. Plus Iran has the longest shoreline to the Straits and will use it for its advantage. They will set up anti ship missiles(P-800 Onik,and Sunburn missiles),mines,suicide speedboats to harass ship going through. Second Iran has tens of thousands of ballistic missiles that it will target US military bases,and Persian Gulf oil fields. Iran will let let Hezbollah deal with Israel. Hezbollah has more katusha rockets then ever before,it has Fateh 110 missiles and scud missiles as well.Plus its many anti aircraft missilels such as the Russian-made-SA7 “Grail”, the SA-14 “Gremlin” and the SA-18 “Grouse.”

The goal will be to drive out the IDF in northern Israel and Hezbollah launches an attack in the northern Israeli towns. If you watch the infrastructure development in these two sparsely populated regions, it is very similar to the US development of the frontier by railways in the late 1800’s. Matter of time a Chinese bureacrat will insitute a “homestead” policy to settle Sanjing and Tibet with Chinese prospectors once they get over their PC feelings toward the concept of citizens owning private property. China will do this before they invade another country for living space because she still has land open for settling (at the expense of the Tibetan and Sino Turks). It is like old west over there. So before China thinks about living space Han Chinese will have to populate western China to have stability.

I have contacted my Senator AND Congressman with conflicting responses. The Senator’s office denies our rights could be violated and sited sections 1031 and 1032 of the bill.
