There Will Be Those Who Perish In the Next Crisis, And Those “Who Survive In Underground Luxury”

Ultimately, no one can stop what is coming.

The haves and have nots of the next, gritty era of aftermath will be those who have the means to survive when the system has failed, and those who do not.

For the wealthy, and prepper minded elite, hidden fortified layers purchased for insurance will preserve most of the luxuries of life above ground, and in the cities, even as society crumbles and burns to the ground.

Others, without the means to purchase these luxuries, may have still set aside the necessary materials to live and thrive after a great collapse, where anything and everything from the electric grid, to the fuel supply to the food supply will fail.

There will be tens of millions of starving, angry and bewildered people who face endangerment and extinction, and there will be a few who succeed not only in planning ahead, but in laying low enough to avoid being noticed and picked off by looters, marauders and misguided authorities.

Finding the perfect location for your redoubt, and making your preps to get away if need be, amount to something of an art and a science. Nothing is guaranteed, everything has its advantages and disadvantaged, but just by doing anything at all, you’ll be way ahead of the masses.

If the plans of the elite are anything to consider, they have decked out their bunkers with mementos and reminders of normal life, and not only enough to supplies not to feel the pain of a crumbling infrastructure, but to be distracted by the illusion of normalcy even in times of ultimate crisis.

But ultimately, all successful redoubts invest in the means to provide for long-term survival and maximum self-sufficiency.

    As Health Nut News reports:

Most “shelters” include enough food for a year or more, and many have hydroponic gardens to supplement. The developers also work hard to create “well-rounded communities with a range of skills necessary for long-term survival, from doctors to teachers.” (During the 2016 elections, Vivos received a flurry of interest in its shelters from both liberals and conservatives and completely sold out of spaces in its community shelters.)

Many of the interiors are left as a blank slate so that each owner can create what they are looking for in terms of comfort and luxury- and it all comes at a cost. Base models can start at $25,000 and go up to almost $5 million dollars. Their footprints also vary from quaint to 5000 square feet.

It isn’t just happening in the United States, but all over the world. And while the fastest growing part of this sector clearly caters to the rich and well adjusted, many shelters are also being constructed to house millions of masses during emergencies – at least in places like China, Switzerland and Russia.

[…] The Oppidum, billed as “the largest billionaire bunker in the world.” This top-secret facility, once a joint project between the former Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia (now the Czech Republic and Slovakia), was built over 10 years beginning in 1984. The premiere apocalypse dwelling is a place that billionaires can live out the horrors of the apocalypse- be it zombie or other- in luxury with every amenity you could ever hope for.

[…] Retail firm Survival Condos offers refuge at a re-purposed missile silo in Kansas, United States. The luxury apartments here are stacked underground and protected by blast doors designed to withstand explosions. Retail firm Survival Condos offers refuge at a re-purposed missile silo in Kansas, United States. The luxury apartments here are stacked underground and protected by blast doors designed to withstand explosions.”

[…] Vivos Europa One, in Rothenstein, is one of Germany’s largest repurposing projects. The 76-acre former Soviet bunker is capable of withstanding a nuclear blast, a direct plane crash or biological attack. It is being transformed into 34 five-star apartments, starting at 2,500 sq ft, which aim to protect the super-rich from any forthcoming apocalypse.

Self-sustaining communities or networks of individuals can also plan around their budgets to make these concepts a reality. Many companies will customize and scale down projects to costs as low as $25,000… while basic home fortification and DIY applications can be done for much less money.

In the end, those who prepared when nothing happened are only out what they invested on the principle of having a viable back-up insurance plan.

But those who didn’t prepare for the worst when it did happen could very quickly lose everything they have, and many will perish during the next major crisis – which could be triggered at this point by almost anything.

      1. meh….

Underground is a waste of money. Besides, if it gets that bad, the people that built it will be living in it before you get there.

        • watch 10 cloverfield lane if you want a little insight into what can happen in a bunker.

          • Better yet read Cannibal Reign by Thomas Koloniar. The book gives you a pretty good insight on the psychology and social interaction of a group of people in an underground shelter.

              • Nice . always liked Montrose

              • GRRR, that damned malicious video ad is back!

                • That twas a great album,Bad Motor Scooter and Rock Candy the best.

Are you using ad block or something similar, you seem to be only one getting hit,or at least mentioning said video, perhaps time to make the leap to linux OS.

                  • Ya maybe the desktop at least. I think I had that album when I was around 15 and yes, twas (still is) a great album!

                    • Funny how the 50’s 60’s and 70’s had the best music. Seems it faded away along with the spirit of rebellion…..

                    • Genius, I grew up with the music of the 60s and 70s but my ‘spirit of rebellion’ NEVER LEFT ME AND NEVER WILL.

                    • My high-school age daughter and her friends love the music from the 60, 70, and 80s. They are even more knowledgable about Rock-and-Roll music from that period than a lot of people I know. It is wonderful to listen to these oldies. Some of them sound better now than back then when we were listening to scratchy tapes.

                  • Want to know how JFK was assassinated and who did it? Watch this Movie, Start at the 1 Hour mark and watch for a full hour. Pathetic the depth of the Massive conspiracy across the board. At the 1 hour 50 minute the real shooter that blew off JFK’s head came from a sniper hiding in a storm drain on the roadway. There were a dozen shooter/ sniper/ assassins in Dallas that day. That POS George H Bush is rotten to the core. It was CIA, Mafia, and Elitists that put this massive hit on JFK. A truly Must see video for every American, Pass this entire 3 hour video on.

          • Uh,.. The Headline should read. “Those with a false sense of security in their underground coffins will parish quickly”, You see those on the move and groove will be creating a new Country, absent of the underground dead cowards.

LOC Air Vents, Gasoline, Road Flares. Any Questions? We can dig down later to recover the molten Gold.

          • I’m pretty sure that Howard and Who WTF Knows are one and the same.

        • you can’t live on 25 year food along. You have to have other canned ect food to go along with it!

        • For those still thinking about a prepper property I recommend maine. Look off the coast deep into interior near the small towns. Three years ago I bought a five bedroom solid house for $32,000 with two acres. There is a nice full river which comes down from our mountains. People here are older, no jobs, very polite, it’s like going back in time 40 years. On the govt nuclear map I’m in one of the few places in America that is expected to survive a moderate nuclear war.

          • Too many Liberals in Maine for me to cope with!

            I’ll stay in Kansas thanks.

            • Only liberal in southern Maine where the fucks from Mass took over. We don’t welcome outsiders in northern Maine where the hard workers are. The outta staters tried to buy up all the big parcels of logging land, they didn’t fare that well. Keep out, we don’t like change up here.

          • Maine is good. Maine is very good. Lots of water, game, fish and lumber. Everyone should go to Maine !!! 🙂

          • Your Priorities need to get Serious People: Wanna Live?
            Ammo never enough
            Food more food
            Water more water
            Medical Supplies
            Tools
            Building Materials
            Small LiveStock
            Seeds more Seeds
            Solar power and batteries.
Many Locations for Above. There is no “bugging out”. There will be no where to go unless you prepared.

I would advise Leaving USSA. Trump is last American President. All after him will be TERRIBLE Obama-Hillary clones. If our country is even still here? The Rich, China, and USA three and four letter agencies seem to want Nuclear war. No thanks. So I’m Leaving.

        • Nothing a track hoe can’t dig up. Unless you live next door to a missile silo and plan living through ground zero a bunker is a waste.

        • John Stiner,

          Underground shelters are a waste?

If I lived in Tornado ally I’d definitely own one.

If you live close to the ocean and get hurricanes an underground shelter is a death sentence. Most of the deaths from a Hurricane Sandy occurred when people took shelter in their basements and rising water caught them, they drowned.

Outside of flood areas an underground shelter can provide a secure place for preps. A supply room In a home is easy pickings for a thief and nearly impossible to hide. Underground you are talking easy to hide, easy to harden. Built properly even if they burn your house down, the underground shelter would still survive along with it’s occupants.

If stuff happens that require you to take shelter, it could be assumed that conditions on the surface is deadly. If people are dying, they won’t be breaking into the shelter that you have that no one knows about.

          • PO’d One thing I have noticed in sporting goods stores is federal ammo isn’t selling well. People buy up the Winchester, Remington, etc. before touching federal. So I am not alone in my bad experiences with federal ammo, it seems most others hate it too. Even federal .22 ammo just sits there forever. Reloading is always best, I don’t use any federal components either. I think Federal cut their own throats with defective ammo for sooooo long, good riddance.

            • Genius, I’ve seen the same thing in my local sporting goods stores myself lately. I was in Bass Pro earlier today for a few gun-cleaning supplies and some .22LR myself. My 2 favorite brands are CCI and Aguilla, never give me any trouble. They had more federal than any other .22 in stock so I bought the only 4 boxes of CCI they had left. I’ve had feeding issues and misfires with federal .22LR in the past. Another one people should avoid is Winchester Super X. Same feeding issues as federal. Remington is OK, but I still buy CCI and Aguilla wherever I find it.

            • I like to check powder prices at gun shows. Last weekend “Alliant Unique” (the most common powder used in pistol, and shotgun reloading and .22LR mfg), was not only available, it was 30% cheaper than a year ago.

Ammo manufacturers have been living on fat of the panic Obama created with high profits. We are returning to a normal munitions market, with normal prices. Manufacturers are going to have to tighten their belts, there will be layoffs.

          • In reality NOTHING has changed with Trump being elected,, in fact if anything we have slid a little farther into the danger zone, nothing seems to make sense anymore,
Anyone who thinks Trump will make a difference hasnt been paying attention.

            • Trump already has made a difference. He’s instilled fear and disruption in both the left and right sides of this political con game. Thrown a wrench into the gears of TPTB’s system. That is what I wanted to see happen, and glad it is. They are very scared.

              • Yes he has instilled fear and disruption. That was the plan all along. I saw it coming from the beginning with how he was able to be so rude and crude without a real backlash from the MSM. And that goes for double of what he was able to say about Hillary. So now he’s got both sides more divided that ever. Enough to get people out into the streets fighting each other, crying and throwing fits because their selected choice for them didn’t win, or people fearing that they will be sent back to where they belong, not by a government whose country you illegally entered, but by white people who are just racists and are actually living in what should be their country. The more they can divide the happier they are. And they are happy as can be. They definitely are not scared. And they are ready to go after both sides. Watch when they cut the police loose.

            • let the “snivel war” begin!

        • I used to work at Site Relocation in Maryland. It’s a complete town inside the top of a mountain built in the 50’s, and you would never know it’s there unless you knew it was there. It’s an impressive base for sure.

My experience with deep underground bases is this – yes you can live underground comfortably but it’s weird. Humans were not meant to live underground, and it affects you. My guess is there is a % who cannot stay underground for long. The people who worked there every day were a little off, and they at least got to see the sky at the end of the day. It’s deathly quiet, and you feel like there is a mountain on top of you, which of course there is. So it’s not somewhere they really want to go, but I think it’s a place we need to make sure they go one way or the other.

        • one giant earthquake and those bunkers become mausoleums.

        • Seal off the air supply or poison it.

Really nice, fancy, well appointed tomb.

      2. “Most “shelters” include enough food for a year or more…”

        Great….stupid plan.

While in their hidey hole, the rest of the world has gone to hell, do they think they will emerge when the food finally runs out (no, hydroponic lettuce is NOT going to cut it) and find Whole Foods stocked and waiting on them ??

If they ain’t raising, processing and preserving food now, they sure won’t be later either. All their hole buys them is some extra time before they starve too.

        • TnAndy

If its a nuclear war the devastation would be so massive that for practical purposes a third world existence would be forthcoming. Their pre war wealth, would be meaningless as former ownership would transfer to those with the most useful power. A “rock solid” portfolio with blue chip stocks when no existing manufacturing facility exists. Its, Thurston Howell III on Giligan’s Island.

I suspect that the long term effects of the aftermath would be a geographic shift in political power. The third world, specifically the southern hemisphere, relatively unscathed, would rise to dominance. Given an abundance of natural resources, climate conducive for food production and indigenous infrastructure they would be the world powers of the future.

The worst position to be in would be a nuclear armed nation or a nation with a significant military presence of a nuclear armed nation.

          • Kevin, that is a great word picture – Thurston Howell III on Gilligan’s Island with all his stock portfolio! Excellent.

For me, Nova Scotia is the optimal answer. On the Gulf Stream, it does not get super cold. In good times, Canadians will not let hordes across (unless you are Muslim, of course), and in bad times, everyone will be clamoring for warm weather. The land is fertile, well watered, not heavily populated (Halifax is maybe a half million), low crime, outside of Halifax there are zero military targets, almost non-existent Muslim population, the one place in Canada where housing prices are not absurd, and you could, in a pinch, easily get there by boat.

In good times, Halifax has two universities, and as the regional centre for the whole area, has a lot of cultural activities, an international airport with flights to Europe, etc. In other words, you have the best of both worlds, just in case nothing untowards happens. Also, the C$ is down to 75 cents US, and Americans (I am a dual US/Canadian citizen) can buy land there with zero issues. Even better, whereas if you take out a bank acct over 10K in Canada as an American, you have to submit to all those banking rules. In contrast, with owning non-income producing land, there are ZERO reporting requirements for Americans. In other words, its almost like having a bank account that you don’t need mess with all those bank regulations. We have property on Cape Breton island, near St Peters (Cape George Estates), on Bras d’Or Lake (great fishing, and massive sailing mecca for boaters). Cape Breton is also stunningly beautiful.

Anyhow, that’s our solution, just in case anyone is interested…

            • Good luck with that plan! You do know, don’t you, that Trudeau is a bought and paid for Muslim agent with the main task of bringing in as many Muslims as possible in the shortest space of time? Why? Because the places where they currently live are quickly falling apart, either from environmental degradation brought on by over population (lack of water being the main one), or by war, civil unrest etc. While they still have the money (US petro dollars) the plan is to move as many as possible into ‘sucker nations’ such as Sweden, Canada etc. I am pretty sure they will be rocking up in Halifax in no time.

              • Frank. We will ALL need “luck” with each of our own plans, won’t we! Boy Wonder Trudeau is even MORE despicable than his father (my wife’s cousin was his nanny… I will dispense with any black jokes on that score).

The population of Halifax is 300,000, Arab population (of course, some Arabs are not Muslim, or secularized, and some non-Arabs are Muslim. If Wikipedia is right, there are just over 6,000 Arabs in NS. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demographics_of_Nova_Scotia out of a population of just under 1mm. In contrast, just Dearborn, Michigan ALONE has 40k Muslims. For those of you who are concerned about race alone NS is 95% white (personally, I would rather have blacks like Sen. Tim Scott, Dr Walter Williams, Dr. Thomas Sowell, Judge Clarence Thomas, Alan Keyes, Col. Alan West that a bunch of fascist left whites like all of Holllywierd, Sen. Schumer, Amy Schumer, Mahdoona, Lady Kaka, Miley Cysleaze, etc ANY DAY, but that is another story.

Look Frank. NS is NOT ideal. Canada under Trudeau will be a disaster, and is going towards the next Sweden (I speak Swedish, have been in Sweden multiple times, and worked for a Swedish company, so I know). In fact, the Swedish model is instructive – the Islamofascists in Sweden are mainly in Götebörg and Malmö… not places like Umeå or Jönköping. Similarly, most of the Muslims in Canada or NOT moving to NS, or Thunder Bay, but rather the urban centres like Toronto (you may recall the attempted terrorist attack there a few years ago?), NOT N.S. Interestingly, not only does London in the UK have a Muslim mayor, so now does Calgary.

You are right that Canada is a sucker nation. The Parliament just passed a bill to try to silence critics of Islam (multiple stories on this, one here: http://www.wnd.com/2017/03/canada-passes-blasphemy-bill-to-silence-critics-of-islam/ ) and in fact disgusting Boy Wonder Trudeau in the last election cycle visited more mosques than churches, and actually recited the Shahada – officially making him a Muslim in their eyes! The United Church of Canada (the largest Protestant denomination… which is also rapidly dying) years ago officially pronounced Mohammed as a prophet in their view (!!!!)

Respectfully submitting, I believe where you are wrong is that Muslims will flock to all over Canada. They will not, and ARE not at present. The demographics clearly cite that.

No, NS is NOT ideal. Please tell me a place that is? My point is that, if one is looking for a *reasonable* retreat/BOL, is is economical, watered, fertile, low population, very do-able financially, ZERO military targets in a nuclear exchange outside of possibly Halifax, if you look at probably EMP maps (is EMP a threat? Some like Dr. Peter Vincent Pry say yes, others no – I leave that to you to decide) put NS completely outside of being affected, etc. If NOTHING bad happens, and you live outside the city, you still have access to a major int’l airport, two universities, cultural activities, etc. Downsides? Many, incl. the endemic idiot socialism, socialized medicine, stricter gun controls (not as bad as some make out tho), and more. I don’t know any place that doesn’t have something – or many things – outside of the Falkland Islands, or better, the Kerguelen Islands.

I wish I could lay money on your “rocking up Halifax in no time comment.” Ain’t gonna happen. The Maritimes are, relatively speaking, a backwater. Newfoundland is even better, but to get there is too expensive. But I will agree that Trudeau is despicable, and my solution is not ideal for me or anyone else. You take your choices based on individual situations. I simply submitted this as something for people to consider, given that the loonie is only worth 75 cents USD, it might be a “hit ’em where they ain’t” solution for some, and that you can diversify out of the USD (to a degree) without having some reportable bank account (land is not reportable as would a bank account be).

Not for you? Great. But if this helps some people think more broadly about protecting their family and finances, all the better. I will submit tho that, while anything can happen in this world, Muslims hording into NS is about as probable as hitting a Sasquatch on the highway there.

            • Thurston Howell III was a slanderous liberal depiction of success. (Albeit THIII probably inherited his money as suggested by the III.)
In a time of crisis successful business people are not going to rollover and die.
They will do what they have always done , create, innovate and overcome.
As usual the losers will scorn them and declare it must be some kinda conspiracy.

        • TN Andy, agreed. I take my chances along with my family ABOVE GROUND in north GA. Going back there in April.

          • Ha.. The elite trapped in their underground cages will turn on eachother, the turn to cannibals like trapped hungry rats and manifest into coffins of shame. We on the outside will pour gasoline down their air vent shafts followed by lit road flares.

Got plenty of road flares in your preps? Get em now.

            • I hope you try this at my shelter…If you could find it.

              • “Every 4th grade history student knows socialism has failed in every country, at every time in history.”

                “Vladamir Putin”

            • A new “elite” would emerge. The guys who actually man the weapons would snuff their bosses. How much shit are YOU going to take from some arrogant, formerly rich guy after his “wealth” just went up in a nuclear fire? His wife/daughter would ditch him for you in a second.

        • Someone will find their hydroponic gardens, either they use sunlight through glass that can be broken into or artificial lighting that needs a generator and an exhaust vent to put an explosive in or clog it that would kill the occupants…, not to mention needing an air intake vent that can be clogged or smoked so everyone comes out running gasping for air.

I’d rather be above ground than 6 feet below it.

        • The old saying fits for the bunker folks. A lone [isolated] wolf is easy prey. They are, after all, trapped in their hideaway. On the other hand, a moving target is hard to hit.peace

          • Have any of you ever tried Corrosion-X spray? It is great stuff! I use it on lots of things from gunz to conex hinges. Lasts a long, long time too. It is great for cached weapons and no need to wipe it off like cosmoline. I have had items buried for 7 years and they were just like new when recovered. There’s yer prep tip for the day…

            • There are similar products out there and everyone has their favorite. Just mention something else to them and see what happens. I use Corrosion-X on a lot of things. They have larger spray cans for bigger projects and the small squeeze bottles for guns as you know. I’ve seen the tests that people have done with different products and this one does outperform.

            • I use CLP.
              “Cleaner”
              “Lubricant”
              “Preservative”
              EVERY thing oxidizes here.
My Remington 7mm froze up from
oxidation, and the factory tells me
they don’t repair guns over the age of thirty.
Never buy Remington guns, but the
              ammo is mostly OK.

              • Well if your Remington froze up I guess clp doesn’t work so well? If I lived in a swamp or island I would def. use corrosion-x. I love my remingtons they work flawlessly.

                • I live on an Island . Kodiak and I’ve been running a Remington 700 mtn rifle for 30 years . no rust . open skiffs , float planes , fishing boats and just plain hiking the island . take care of your guns daily while in the field and you wont have issues . things only rust when they quit moving

                • The gun belongs to my son-in law. I never took care of it till recently. All my CLP treated guns are OK.
I have a Carcano(JFK) piece of shit that performs better
                  than the Remington.
I still haven’t how the Marine got so many shots off with
                  that piece of shit Carcano.

                  • “I still haven’t figured out how the Marine got so many shots off with that piece of shit Carcano”.

                    • He didn’t(the marine). Sounds like your Son in law doesn’t take care of his things very well.

                    • A very good out of the box rifle about the same price as a rem 700 is Howa. They have very smooth action, hammer forged barrel, factory free floated. Made in Japan and has very good workmanship.

                    • And factory Hogue rubberized stock. The best for the money IMO.

                    • rellik

“I still haven’t figured out how the Marine got so many shots off with that piece of shit Carcano”.

                      He didn’t

                  • “I still haven’t how the Marine got so many shots off with that piece of shit Carcano.”

                    Simple: he didn’t.

                  • Relik,
The Warren Commission opined that the 1891 Carcano must be the most accurate, fastest shooting military weapon ever devised.

                • I just use Hoppes and in 50 years never had a problem

                  • I just make up Ed’s red, less then 20 bucks for a gallon, share it with friends,cleans/lubricates and protects, like all stuff do not get it on your wood stocks.

                    • One of my buddies brews that up too, swears by it, and he got the recipe from his dad who was a collector,

                  • Nailbanger, I also use Hoppes. Ain’t nothin’ better.

              • These companies that treat customers like that deserve to crash & burn! Screw them. NO $$ anymore in their greedy, typical Corp America pockets.

          • ONV – but, what if the “hunter” of the wolf is radiation from a nuclear exchange?

        • When they emerge from their spider hole and find nothing to eat, it will be the second die off.

          • The idea of extended food supply’s is so you can have surface time to figure out where you need to go, and have food to get there. Bringing food with you is a good way to buy access.

          • Yea, when they emerge from their spider hole and start ordering people around,,,,,,
            You know what happens next

            • Nailbanger,

I don’t care how luxurious their spider holes are, it will not take long for the place to stink and the air to become putrid if air conditioning gets turned off or electricity goes down. I am with those who want to find a way to stay above ground. Perhaps shelter in a basement or inclosure until it is safe to look around. To say, ‘Life will be different after a nuclear conflagration’ is an understatement to the nth degree. Let’s hope we never have to go through it!

              Louisiana Eagle

            • Nail Banger,
I’m confused by your calculus, the point of underground shelters is so you can survive nuclear, chemical or biological war. People on the surface will just die. Who are these people you describe that the elite will order around?

In a nuclear event the first few hours are the most deadly. Beyond those killed in the initial explosions and firestorms, most people would receive a deadly dose of radiation that will kill them within hours to months. Then comes the fallout dust downwind. Over the next few days anyone in the open would be exposed to this, they will die in days to months.

For those that can stay in a shelter for just two weeks, they could likely come out for short periods, but don’t breath the dust and wash well returning to your shelter. After two months you could come out and start setting up life again. Use the shelter as your home as long as needed. If your area is too radioactive. Figure out how to travel to where it’s safe, bring your stored food with you.

I wouldn’t expect to run into too many people.

          • Make sure you save that last round for yourself and call it a damn day!

            • ???

        • I can’t help but think that in their arrogance and pride, they have forgotten that their ‘luxurious hole’ underground will more than likely become their tomb. When all this begins to happen whats the bet, large earthquakes will also coincide? The so-called ‘elite’ are also nieve! The poor people on top who draw close to God will be much better off in the end..

        • They can’t live on that 25-year food alone. It will tear your system up! It’s got to be mixed with canned food ect!!

          • you’re going to NEED a room/bunker to hold all that canned food(which has WATER in it). those of you relying on dried food better rethink how you will GET water that is drinkable…one MISTAKE is all it will take, with no doctors around. watch “the road”, and see where he finds a bunker and storts off with guzzeling a can of peaches….now THERE’s a lesson for U.S…..have canned food….and LOTS of it, so you can survive a few days, and come out to start the rebuild.

      3. I am looking at 80 acres in the high country for Option 3 as Option 1 & 2 are in place. If I complete Option 3 before SHTF if will become Option One.

I am expecting it to be a two year project. 🙂

        • So…. Option three is really just a hunting camp and you are selling it to your wife as an emergency bug out location?

          • No John, it will be tax free “CHURCH” summer camp/farm property. It has natural springs, creeks & streams, plus a couple of wells.(Although there is plenty of Elk, deer, turkey, in the area, etc.)

All Options are within 150 miles of each other, in a triangle. Options 2 & 3 have extensive natural resources, including gold.

Gotta have gold nearby. It’s the future of wealth. 🙂

            • So when you need it to bug out it will be filled with all the church members and their friends? Sounds good to me lol.

              • The “members of My Church are combat vets with guns. 🙂

          • “Option three is really just a hunting camp and you are selling it to your wife as an emergency bug out location?”

Ahhh ……… There’s that word OSTENSIBLE in use.

              • A funny thing is that this video explains exactly why people don’t watch vids like this. A REAL truthseeker would welcome the information and add it to their thought process. A pacifist know it all would ignore it and have a poor argument against it.

                • Genius:

Mark Passio makes some valid points. He leaves out some pertinent facts, and his conclusions are defeatist, therefore maybe he does more harm than good.

The idea that ones “Karmic consequences” can be avoided by having someone else do the dirty work for you, comes directly from the TallMud; which is the basis of ChewWish ideology.

He speaks against identifying with your own group or ethnic group without admitting who more than any other group practices and promotes from within their ranks. This is the same group who thwart personal responsibility by having others fight the barbaric wars for them, Chews.

I think Passio is right that change begins with self.

                  __

                  • His conclusions are the same as mine, I can talk and try till I’m out of air and every person run’s away from truth. THAT is a fact! I believe Karmic consequences are real and will carry over several lives. As far as identifying with your own group he does not condone that because you are an individual NOT a collective of a group regardless of racial boundries. He has spoken against the chews and all others if you listen to his other speeches. And yes he is right, change begins with the self. Listen to some more of his vids, they cover a great array of topics including chews. He is a fellow anarchist and hates people ruling him. I am impressed you watched this vid, it shows me you have an open mind (I knew you did). He comes from the inside although a lower level he has knowledge of how this pyramid really works and the real agenda. His speeches on order followers are the best! Thank you for listening and do what you will with what you heard, it makes PERFECT sense out of this fooked up system…

                    • Just for fun… what is the most powerful word in the universe?

                    • Just for fun… what is the most powerful word in the universe?

                      Answer: NO

                    • Most powerful word is “I”. Everything else is irrelevant if you don’t know the “I” or have self control the “I” first….

              • I liked Mark’s dissection and explanation of the Matrix movies. He does that scene by scene from movie to movie.

And I use Corrosion-X. I have a heavy duty spray and a regular one. One of those two is a pump spray I believe. And I also have the small squeeze bottles for firearms. I posted a reply earlier, it’s just not here for some reason. Could be I didn’t submit it… What? I think it works well. And there was a guy that tested all the name brand others and came to the conclusion that Corrosion-X was the best. But like I said before, everyone has their own preference.

              • This is almost too despicable to think about. Why can’t we let kids be kids! The radical homosexuals have a saying “Sex before 8, or it is too late.” Disgusting. Now we have a US Navy ship called the Harvey Milk (he was a gay hero, who also advocated pedophilia – here is verification from the equally despicable NPR http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2016/07/29/487944304/u-s-navy-to-honor-gay-rights-icon-harvey-milk )

In Swedish “child” is an “ett” noun (German has masc., fem and neuter; Swedish has gender and non-gender). In other words, the language itself recognizes that kids are, our should be, left ALONE relative to sexuality. Interestingly, I started watching a movie rated PG last night (I almost never watch TV) called Must Like Dogs. Supposed to be a light, romantic comedy, rated PG. It was **despicable* and at least in terms of language, x-rated. Even Charlie Sheen would have blushed… ok, maybe not.

As the culture becomes more and more post Christian, I repeat what Dostoyevski said (and he DID say this, BTW) “If there is no God… EVERYTHING is permissible.” I.e., if all that exists is nature, then as philosopher Francis Schaeffer put it, “Whatever is, is right.” Anything else is just mere personal preference, by definition.

While I treat all gays with respect, and always have and always will, their *philosophy* is evil, and their lifestyle is destructive – to both themselves and society as a whole. It is, as lesbian advocate Paula Ettelbrick proclaimrf a year or so ago that, “transforming the very fabric of society… [and] radically reordering society’s view of reality” is the goal of the homosexual movement. I have news for her: That was the goal of Hitler and Stalin too. She WILL lose, as her philosophy is based on OPPRESSION of others and outright lies.

      4. They assume they will have some number of hours notice to gather their family and get there. If they are on a different continent, or they, their spouses, and their children are in different locales.

Some don’t remember 9/11, but there was NO NOTICE. After an hour the entire country was on lockdown, and no flights (with few exceptions) for several days. If it is a bioweapon, they will be bringing the infection with them.

Unless you ALREADY live in a safe area, having a shelter won’t matter because you won’t be able to get to it

        • Nobody is safe. Duh.

          • Not sure why you made that remark. That was a very good point tz made.

            • some WILL make it to their shelter, and some WON’T. some will live, and many will DIE. if you NEED a shelter, and don’t have it, chances are great that you’ll never need it again. tz wants to focus on the negative, and that’s WHY we are here, to have others tear apart our plans, exposing the flaws, so we can improve them….now, back to work on my shelter.

        • tz

Very true and also an indicator. If the upper echelon of TPTB (unfortunately who really knows with any certainty who they are) disappear then its likely that they smell something coming. This coupled with current events can be a marker to “get our of Dodge”. Their power is linked to very close ties with military muscle via government, their power resonates from it. Some of them would have a heads up of pending trouble if it was possible to know. This being said its highly probable that this would be an indicator of intent as there is no doubt that intelligence agencies world wide watch their movements. Assuming for conversations sake that your Putin, your informed that a very unusual moment of the power elite is occurring to their remote get aways; what would you think?

          • Kevin, in some way, keeping an eye on Denver airport might be an indicator…
            Mac, you on this?

            • Ketchupondemand

              Exactly

        • Oh yeah, once a few gather at the shelter they will lock all the owners out. The look on the faces of those locked out will be priceless. Thats when reality will smack em in their faces dead on. The hungry hoards will have no mercy on them.
Just sit at the end of the runways at these elitist airports and punch a few holes in their in thin cabins fuselodges at they try to fly off. The pressure when they try to reach altitude will kill em. Then drop like flies out of the skies.

          • And what about claustrophobia? Some hard decisions might have to be made…..

          • Apollo

“Oh yeah, once a few gather at the shelter they will lock all the owners out.”

In event of a “maybe” the above likely won’t happen. In event of an obvious , “real deal, no doubt about it”, they’ll all look like rats on a sinking ship. These people are good at math. Cut the inhabitants by half and you double the length of time the remainder can stay. If its keep the Surgeon / Physician / Dentist or keep that bastard that cheated me out of another billion its a no brainer.

Think Physicians are revered now? You ain’t seen nothing.

      5. All three Options are within 150 miles of each other in a triangle. 🙂

        • I’ll take my chances above ground TYVM.

          • 2 words… MINE SHAFTS. Nice pre-made shelters that are abundant. The more remote the better. I have about 7 or 8 in mind so far. The hard work is already done for you just decorate them to your liking 🙂

            • Eh,hardwork done unless the abandoned mine collapses due to your activity or say, pesky lawn trolls for some reason start exploding.

              • But, it beats the alternative of a super suntan lol!

                • Hmmmm….,being buried in a mine shaft beats getting nuke fried, yep, those are some great options!

                • There is an abandoned mine in the mountains carved from solid rock, big enough to drive into. When I discovered it, it appeared that someone tried to use the site for Y2K as there is a deserted log cabin located on the property, with broken windows, running stream from a spring, and the remnants of an old corn field.

Its about 7 miles from Option Two. Good to know where it is if the balloon goes up and I am at Option Two. 🙂

            • a mine SHAFT goes straight DOWN….a TUNNEL goes straight IN….there ARE other mine terms, like winze and…..well you get the point…..but MOST are known about by MANY.

              • most mines are known of by many people, to clarify….so THAT will be your tomb.

      6. I would love to be in a bunker full of wealthy, no nothing, 1 percenters that want to be waited on hand and foot while SHTF.

        • Id like to be the guy on the D8 covering over their doorway and air vents

      7. There is a movie, a comedy, about a family from the sixties who emerges in the recent past, 1990’s I think.

Imagine the Alt Right, free disseminators of truth, anticipate the wealthy going underground. So, they feed them fake news about the civil war, carnage, starvation on a barren planet with Nuclear fallout everywhere.

In the meantime, with the Banksters and criminal Capitalists and Marxists underground, and out of the way, National pride and prosperity returns to The USA and the other Countries around the world. There is no Central Bank and life is good.

      8. Why bother?

      9. The ancient city of Derinkuyu. It’s happened before. If they are hearty enough, they will survive.

      10. If these are really communities then they will have the same security problems just like everyone else will I suppose. I’m sure their will be a lot of backstabbing below ground, just as there will be above ground. And if these BOL’s are where they think that they will be alone, then they had better built it themselves, and as said above, and gotten there first to lock the door behind them.
I believe that things will be just as on this site, where you can listen to people that seem to have the same view on various issues, but if you showed up at their private BOL they would shoot you first and ask you what issues you agree with later. That ain’t gonna work either. Right now the best way to fix things for the future is for people to wake up now, come together now, and do things now. No matter how politically incorrect it is. But I don’t see that happening either. It will take a real kick in the you know what for people to start thinking correctly again.

      11. Mac, another BUNKER story? Can’t be THAT SLOW of a news day, not with everything else that’s happening.

        • Hey now BH, bunkers are cool. Doesn’t have to be for nuke war, just a cool temp controlled hideout for whatever purpose. Keeps you hidden from Skynet too!

          • Underground storage/root cellars are great for storage and are difficult to detect. Provide protection and if built correctly, will provide concealment. They protect against natural and man made disasters. The hordes are not looking for “air shafts” and secret entry ways. People that own them have a plan for when they come out from one. It is usually designed for short term occupancy and storage. Most prep types that live in a city do not have a place to build one. Most people that live in the country are too lazy to build one. O2 is correct on the mineshafts, except sometimes others know where they are at too. Then the cost to build one is about the same as a exspensive hunting optics….around 3K in materials, and you do the work alone.

      12. It is important to prep. I come to this site for that reason. However, we need to keep a balance, particularly if, like me, you didn’t/won’t inherit anything, no pension, and you’ve had to work (and work hard your whole life). That balance is best epitomized by remembering Mel Tappan – one of the first “preppers,” if you will, a quarter century ago – who died of a heart attack in his very well done retreat. You can google him for deetails. You don’t want to have spent your whole life prepping, just to then die. We are very aggressive in preparedness; but we also make sure to take vacations and do other things to enjoy life now, make sure our marriage is solid, if you have kids, give them a full life, etc. Without unlimited funds, it is a fine balance, like I’m sure is the case for most of you. In sum, prep, fight for freedom, but also bend down and smell the flowers once in a while….

        • So true, definitely been working on that one lately, doom and gloom gets old, so does politics, and latelybpolitics just makes my head hurt so rather not even pay attention to it, is all BS anyway

          • Test, Nail, me too.It gets so depressing reading about the loss of the USA and freedoms around the world.
So, I and the wife work the property, go to the beach, I surf, she walks the dogs and we enjoy life “max-ly”.
That said, we do have a bunker of sorts in the hillside basement that I can cover windows, ventilate in and out with battery power and is somewhat radiation proof…well, I think. 🙂

            • You folks are like us, just about same latitude, our biggest threat is hurricaine season,

              Today,

Not going to worry about stuff that really doesnt matter. These all important idiots in charge, are not in charge of me, they can try, but they never will succeed!

I was wrestling with a homeboy yesterday, I lost because I had too many beers, I’m 61 and he is 38. The garden is still going in the way I want it, but he won on the chickens and dogs. Homeboy is a good gardener.

            • Radiation proof? Oh, so if we get nuked at 3 in the morning you got everything covered.
Wow. I’m impressed. You got it all figured out.

              • Anonymous, yes asshole I do as a matter of fact. Since I’m a 3 hour flight from CONUS I will have time to put a few window covers on.

No way, I will stay above ground as intended. I will assist God fearing, Constitution believing, Americans, if and when needed, as well.

        Good comment TEST.

        • Ooops, I, too, intend to help those left who are God fearing, Constitution believing… and others as well. Obviously, I can’t feed the population of my city, but I will do what I can to help the weak, the suffering, the mentally handicapped, the pre-school, etc. Any culture that is left that just has people dedicated to saving their own skin at the expense of others –
what kind of culture would that be? On the other hand, if I gave what little I had to the unprepared, I would be without anything in 24 hours or less. This question is an important one, with no good answer. We can only hope we never have to address this…

What would I do to help my leftist neighbors who are the very ones who have brought on the evil that has befallen us? That is another important question! I will help, but with provisos and caveats, understanding that all people bear the image of God, while understanding that, e.g., even Hitler bore the image of God, but still needed to be stopped at the point of a gun. I suppose a lot of this will be decided on an ad hoc basis when the time comes, knowing there will be no perfect answer. But, I VERY much resent the left – people like Diane Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi, ad nauseam who have brought this coming disaster on us, that’s for sure. I will treat their persons with respect, while at the same time doing everything I can in my power to non-violently destroy their philosophy and political positions through the written word.

      23. From Paul Craig Roberts website– essay called, “the Day Earth was Murdered”

Just as the CIA is indifferent to the threat to life on earth that the agency’s orchestration of the Russian Threat presents, and the liberal/progressive/left is too absorbed in hatred of Trump to comprehend that it is enabling the march to nuclear war, the Trump forces are enabling another catastrophic/apocalyptic threat by dismissing global warning as a hoax. That the obvious, observable melting of Arctic ice can be dismissed as a plot against capitalism by left-wing scientists demonstrates a detachment from reality that is difficult to fathom. For whatever reason the ice is melting, the consequence is the sudden enormous release of life-destroying methane into the atmosphere. As far as I am aware, the dire consequences of massive methane release are not controversial.

        • Definitely not good no matter what the cause

        • Ehhhh, just throw a match on the methane leaks and burn it. Let’s get this bbq started! 😛

        • If global warming is not caused by carbon emissions then the point is moot. If carbon fuel is the cause, and If the US and developed world reduces carbon emissions through increased taxation thus increasing the cost of said fuels, the point is moot if the lower cost fuel now is used to further development in the developing world. China has more than displaced any US reduction. One has to assume that either the power elite don’t care about the ramifications or its just a hoax to facilitate development in the third world at the expense of the developed world. I look at the results, see who gains and loses and then determine the validity of reasoning. I’ll bet its the latter not the former.

      24. For a world that sees itself as based on science, it is amazing how uninfluential scientists are. They warn of the consequences of nuclear war, and Western governments continue escalating tensions between nuclear powers. Scientists warn of the consequences of global warming, and the polluting economic interests and their supporters cry “hoax.”

Read Dahr Jamail’s report on the latest published scientific report on the likelihood of a sudden and gigantic release of methane, and then go read the report itself. This is not the fake news that you get from the New York Times, BBC, CNN, Washington Post, Le Monde, MSNBC and the rest of the presstitutes. This report is peer-reviewed scientific opinion based on the known facts at hand. http://www.truth-out.org/news/item/39957-release-of-arctic-methane-may-be-apocalyptic-study-warns

What is known among scientists as the Arctic “Methane Time Bomb” has been studied intensely. Scientists believe that a 50-gigaton “burp” of methane could be released in a brief period of time from the melting of the Arctic ice. This would be the sudden addition to the atmosphere of ten times the amount of methane currently in the atmosphere. Scientists equate this to an increase in carbon dioxide of 1,000 gigatons.

In other words, based on our existing scientific knowledge, life on earth depends on the Artic ice not melting. But it is melting.

        • But of course, that is a lie. The whole big green money scam is a trillion dollar lie. In fact, ice in the Antarctic is up MASSIVELY, and a couple years ago the coldest temp EVER recorded on earth was recorded there – if I recall, it was -136.8F, but I’d have to go check. I’m pretty close tho. Cysosat data from 12/7/2016 showed Arctic ice up ~ 50% by volume, and on 10/1/16 there was one MILLION more sq. miles of ice in the Arctic. The whole thing is an utter and complete scam. Al Gore said a decade or so ago all the ice would be gone by a few years ago. The truth?

£2.3 trillion is the scam AGW bill per http://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/pound23-trillion-rich-countries-bill-for-climate-deal-33mcplsljbc

Washington Times say the AGW scam is now a $1.5 trillion global business …
          http://www.washingtontimes.com/…/climate-change-industry-now-15-trillion-global-bus/
          .
The famed Dr. Bjorn Lomborg says the final overall cost will be more like $100 TRILLION. http://www.climatedepot.com/2017/01/17/danish-statistician-un-climate-treaty-will-cost-100-trillion-to-postpone-global-warming-by-less-than-four-year-by-2100/ Of course, we will now need a world government – as many global warmers have called for – to address this fake crisis. (Remember Climategate? “Hide the decline”? Truth is, there has been ZERO global warming (despite this year’s warm winter in N. America – while it was abnormally cold in Europe) overall since 1998.

The actual presence of CO2 in the atmosphere? Spectator.org notes that it is 390 ppm, or less than 0.04%, up from 320 ppm, or 0.032% 50 years ago. Of the remaining percentages, nitrogen amounts for 78%, oxygen 21%. Of the 1% that then remains, 90% of that is argon, with less than 4% of that 1% being carbon dioxide (these percentages exclude highly variable water vapor, which is usually around 1 – 4% of the atmosphere – and a much more major contributor to global warming, estimated at being 50-90% of the greenhouse effect). Of course the logarithmic effect of CO2 means each additional increase has less impact that the prior, same sized increase. Even more, about 96 to 97% of carbon dioxide comes from natural sources, such as animals, plant decay and volcanoes.

In fact, relative to volcanoes, former FDA investigator Dr. Arthur Evangelista, noted that the 2010 eruption of Eyafjallajokull in Iceland emitted, in four days, enough CO2 in four days to negate every single effort mankind made that year to reduce CO2. But this volcano was a piker compared to Mt. Pinatubo, which when it erupted in the Philippines in 1991 “spewed out more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than the entire human race had emitted in its entire 40 MILLION YEARS on earth.” And this doesn’t include that fact that, as he notes the “bush fire season across the western USA and Australia this year alone will negate your efforts to reduce carbon in our world for the next two to three years. And it happens every year.”

        • As a matter of fact, I have done a 400 page, 700 footnote on the whole scam of BIG GREEN MONEY AGW, and that methane scam is just that – fake news.

Patrick Bedard, wrote, in An Inconvenient Truth: SOS from Al Gore, that the atmosphere is nitrogen (78 percent), oxygen (21 percent), argon (0.93 percent), and CO2 (0.04 percent), with other in trace amounts, and the lower atmosphere with varying amounts of water vapor, up to four percent by volume. Nitrogen and oxygen are neutral with respect to warming. CO2, as ranked by the Kyoto Treaty, is lower on the warming totem pole, but has a higher concentration, so Kyoto said it is responsible for 72 % of global warming. Methane is twenty one times stronger than CO for warming, but as there is not a lot of it around, so Kyoto only says it accounts for 7% of warming. Nitrous oxide (NZO), which primarily comes from Mother Nature, is 310 times more warming than CO2, but is again lower in concentration, and so Kyoto-ites say it accounts for only 19% of warming . In other words, Bedard points out, nature creates about 30 times the global warming gases that man does – and in any event, man only accounts for somewhere around 3% to 3.5% (3.5% according to Fred Singer) of all CO2. Geologist Dudley J. Hughes adds to this that CO2 is less than a minor player in the drama: “Earth’s atmosphere is made up of several major gases. For simplicity, let’ us picture a football stadium with about 10,000 people in the stands. Assume each person represents a small volume of one type of gas… carbon dioxide (represents) only about 4 parts in 10,000, the smallest volume of any major atmospheric gas.” Another report I am familiar with notes that CO2 only makes up 0.038% of the atmosphere in the first place (0.000383)! Man-made CO2 is only 2.75% of that unfathomably tiny amount, meaning total man-made CO2 makes up about 0.001% of the atmosphere (0.00001).

More on the methane/permafrost scam, as so ably reviewed by Marlo Lewis at http://www.globalwarming.org/2011/12/29/should-we-fear-the-methane-time-bomb/#more-11818: The net of this scam-du-jour is that global warming will cause the soil in the Arctic to release massive amounts of CO2 locked in the permafrost, and some of this will decompose into methane, which has 21 – 25 times the warming effect of CO2. This is turn will cause more warming, and the cycle will repeat until Tuktoyaktuk in the NWT of Canada becomes Cancun. Here is an actual scary (what else!), popular YouTube from the warmers illustrating how “dire” the threat is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wofv9o0j1Ew . Unfortunately, even the NY Times isn’t buying this one. Their science blogger in his article “Methane Time Bomb in Arctic Seas – Apocalypse Not,” at http://dotearth.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/12/14/methane-time-bomb-in-arctic-seas-apocalypse-not/ excerpted a paper from the American Geophysical Union on this (see http://www.agu.org/pubs/crossref/2011/2011JC007218.shtml ), which noted:

“[T]he authors found that roughly 1 meter of the subsurface permafrost thawed in the past 25 years, adding to the 25 meters of already thawed soil. Forecasting the expected future permafrost thaw, the authors found that even under the most extreme climatic scenario tested this thawed soil growth will not exceed 10 meters by 2100 or 50 meters by the turn of the next millennium. The authors note that the bulk of the methane stores in the east Siberian shelf are trapped roughly 200 meters below the seafloor”

Revkin’s colleague, science reporter Justin Gillis then weighed in with his interview with Ed Dlugokencky, a top methane researcher at NOAA’s Earth System Research Laboratory, who told him: “[B]ased on what we see in the atmosphere, there is no evidence of substantial increases in methane emissions from the Arctic in the past 20 years”. Gillis also stated in his article that any ocean warming that might be sufficient to destabilize significant amounts of methane hydrates would take thousands of years. Then, if that were to occur, “the methane released would largely be consumed in the sea (by bacteria that specialize in eating methane) and would not reach the atmosphere. That is what seems to be happening off Svalbard (and area where there are some methane releases now). Gillis concluded his article by quoting William S. Reeburgh, an emeritus scientist at the University of California, Irvine, who has spent decades studying such matters, who stated “I think it’s just dead wrong to talk about ‘Arctic Armageddon,’ ” said and says the likely consumption of methane within the ocean should not be underestimated. “Most of this methane is never going to see the atmosphere.” Marlo Lewis concludes that “The Arctic was warmer than present for thousands of years during both the Holocene Climate Optimum (roughly 9,000 to 5,000 years ago) and the Last Interglacial Period (roughly 130,000 to 100,000 years ago)” – perhaps as much as 2.5C to 7.0C warmer for two millennia. In fact, a study by the Circum-Arctic PaleoEnvironments (CAPE) researchers concluded that summer air temperatures were “4-5°C above present over most Arctic lands” for thousands of years. Yet, there was no runaway greenhouse warming. Lewis concludes by noting: “Vostok ice core data do show a correlation between changes in global temperature and atmospheric levels of both CO2 and methane. However, despite the sustained Arctic warmth of the Last Interglacial, there was no de-stabilizing, self-perpetuating spike in atmospheric methane levels. Global temperatures largely determined methane levels, not the other way around.

      27. Nov 24, 2015 The Deep State: The Unelected Shadow Government

America’s next president will inherit more than a bitterly divided nation. He or she will also inherit a shadow government—a permanent, corporatized, militarized, entrenched bureaucracy that is fully operational and staffed by unelected officials who are, in essence, running the country. As John W. Whitehead warns in this week’s vodcast, all it will take is another terrorist attack or a natural disaster for such a regime to emerge from the shadows.

          [Chorus]
Cause we got a little convoy

Ah, breaker, Pig Pen, this here’s the Duck. And, you wanna back off them hogs? Yeah, 10-4, ’bout five mile or so. Ten, roger. Them hogs is gettin’ in-tense up here.
By the time we got into Tulsa Town,
We had eighty-five trucks in all.
But they’s a roadblock up on the cloverleaf,
          And them bears was wall-to-wall.
          Yeah, them smokies is thick as bugs on a bumper;
They even had a bear in the air!
I says, “Callin’ all trucks, this here’s the Duck.
“We about to go a-huntin’ bear.”

Well, we rolled up Interstate 44
Like a rocket sled on rails.
We tore up all of our swindle sheets,
And left ’em settin’ on the scales.
By the time we hit that Chi-town,
          Them bears was a-gettin’ smart:
          They’d brought up some reinforcements
          From the Illinois National Guard.
There’s armored cars, and tanks, and jeeps,
          And rigs of ev’ry size.
Yeah, them chicken coops was full’a bears
          And choppers filled the skies.
Well, we shot the line and we went for broke

Well, we laid a strip for the Jersey shore
And prepared to cross the line
I could see the bridge was lined with bears
          But I didn’t have a dog-goned dime.
I says, “Pig Pen, this here’s the Rubber Duck.

Convoy! Ah, 10-4, Pig Pen, what’s your twenty?
Convoy! OMAHA? Well, they oughta know what to do with them hogs out there fer shure. Well, mercy

AM sure ain’t what it used to be.

      38. Anybody who believes a nuclear exchange will be limited or survivable is living a dream. Subs surfacing 90-120 days later to issue the second strike with the bombs of doom ensure that there will be no one left. That strategy was developed for those hiding in holes. One nuclear plant has devastated the Pacific ocean and numerous globally are dealing with fires and leakage of their own plants. The real danger of Fukushima is that the button pushers may realize the globe is already finished….so why not. The Pacific ocean has died on our watch and no one has hung for it. If we cannot face up to this fact what chance is there for any one to survive and for what?

        • Grandpa, It will only get worse too as all the aging nuke plants continue leaking and having issues. Many of them are on fault lines and the waste just tucked away waiting for future disaster. I don’t give a rats ass about japan, they are horrible little destructors of the ocean with their whaling and overfishing and dolphin killing etc. They deserve it as far as I’m concerned as do many Asian countries who fish the ocean into extinction. Nuke power should be banned it is a completely stupid idea to begin with. As I have said before… either man will curb it’s population or nature will do it for him. Looks like it is going to be the latter with planetary destruction along with it.

          • It is a helluva way to boil water. This is the “peaceful” use of the nuclear genie that was used to justify the other. An irradiated planet is the future of mankind, get used to it if you can. I am still trying to cope with the loss of the Pacific. It seems that denial is also a byproduct of the nuclear industry. Man’s use of carbon and its consequences are a prediction, Fukushima and the danger to life is a for sure prediction. We placed our bets based upon lies and have lost. The Earth will survive after it shrugs itself of its infestation of carbon entities. But I’ll bet that it doesn’t follow that path of evolution ever again. The legacy of man doesn’t include man or being. Can we say with pride that of which we bequeath to future generations? We owe thanks to our ancestors, an apology to the future. But we lit our homes.

          • I live more or less in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
My island is the furthest away from any continent than any other island on earth. We are infested with Democrats. They are kind enough to measure everything for radiation because they are fearful people and believe it it going to kill them. Funny that the same idiots cook their skin with radiation in order to be “beautiful”(AKA get a tan). My ocean, my food, and my land is all pretty normal. One thing that really bothers me, is all this radiation fear. You do know everything on Earth was once inside a Fusion reactor, also known as a star?
I’d rather live next to a Nuclear power station than a Ghetto any day.

The whole current system is a violation of law:
The so called Federal Reserve issues conterfeit currency.

It is only lawful to issue coins.

Rights come from God. Arguably, this is why Communists are atheists.
The right to self defense is a right, not a privilege.
