DHS specifically cites the states that it will be needed in. North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, and Florida. That’s right, the Gulf of Mexico.
FEMA is also looking for Hydration Supplies for a disaster in the New Madrid Fault System just as they are looking for food, blankets, and underwater body bags.
I want to start out by stating the importance of an article such as this as well as the importance of NOT jumping to conclusions or doing irrational things out of fear caused by the actions of FEMA. I believe that one of the major powers of FEMA is the fear that it instills in people who consider themselves awake.
That being said, preparing has never became more important. Food, water, and ammo are a must, REGARDLESS of what company you choose to purchase your supplies from.
FEMA has issued multiple RFI’s(Request For Information) in regards to the availability of 140 million packets of food specifically for a disaster in the New Madrid Fault System. Normally this sort of information would seem like disinformation or fear mongering but this particular situation is heavily documented.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) procures and stores pre-packaged commercial meals to support readiness capability for immediate distribution to disaster survivors routinely. The purpose of this Request for Information is to identify sources of supply for meals in support of disaster relief efforts based on a catastrophic disaster event within the New Madrid Fault System for a survivor population of 7M to be utilized for the sustainment of life during a 10-day period of operations.   FEMA is considering the following specifications (14M meals per day):
– Serving Size – 12 ounce (entree not to exceed 480 calorie count);
– Maximum calories – 1200 and/or 1165 per meal;
– Protein parameters – 29g-37g kit;
– Trans Fat – 0;
– Saturated Fat – 13 grams (9 calories per gram);
– Total Fat – 47 grams (less than 10% calories);
– Maximum sodium – 800-930 mg;Requested Menus to include snacks (i.e. fruit mix, candy, chocolate/peanut butter squeezers, drink mix, condiments, and utensils). All meals/kits must have 36 months of remaining shelf life upon delivery.   Packaging should be environmentally friendly.
Interestingly enough, FEMA is also requesting information on millions of blankets for the EXACT same reason. Does FEMA know something we don’t or are they doing this to simply prepare for a disaster in order to help the American people? Most educated people understand that history repeats itself and the history of FEMA is that of an agency that has been completely unprepared and at times, unwilling to help the American people.
While many individuals within FEMA are good, hard working people, their masters have secretly set up thousands of FEMA camps throughout the country specifically for the American people. A few years ago the idea that FEMA camps were real was looked upon as complete bs yet the alternative media continued to push and the facts have been exposed. This is not fear mongering, this is documented fact.

This exercise is scheduled for May 2011. Past National Level Exercises have resulted in 70,000 people being evacuated in central Texas while the mainstream media (CORRECTION) mostly ignored it.
Is a massive earthquake set to strike the New Madrid Fault Zone? How do HARRP and the gulf oil disaster play into this possible mega disaster?
In June, a report from the University of Illinois warned that the possibility of a 7.7 magnitude or higher earthquake striking the New Madrid Zone was very high.
“If a quake that size did hit, the report estimates at least 3,500 people would be killed and more than 80,000 others hurt,†reported the Chicago Headlines Examiner.
Other estimates from the report include:
- 715,000 buildings damaged
- 7 million people homeless
- 2.6 million households without power
- $300 Billion economic impact
Adding to seriousness of this situation, the Department of Homeland Security has also contacted multiple vendors in regards to the availability of underwater body bags.

It is interesting to note that this is happening at the same time as people are ordering a massive amount of food and food riots are being predicted by globalists throughout the world.

I’m not a conspiracy guy….never have been. I have a question though, one that I have asked myself. If I knew disaster was headed for my family and there was nothing I could do to prevent it, or protect them from it, would I tell them?
It makes me wonder whether or not the gov’t or world gov’ts would tell their citizens that disaster is looming and there is nothing that can be done to prevent it. I think to tell people would be to cause mass panic and if the predicted event doesn’t happen, well then there would be a helluva lot of explaining to do.
Like the threat from our financial leaders that financial armageddon would happen if we didn’t authorize a massive bailout of the banks or that we will face disaster if we don’t raise the debt ceiling. I think this is just scaring the sheeple into going along with their wishes. These threats always come with a solution attached, “We are in dire straights, but if we do this we will be saved!”
The perceived threats are no threat at all, it’s the unseen threats that are dangerous and real.
If a major earthquake occurs at the New Madrid fault Zone. The New Madrid fault zone is six times bigger than the San Andreas fault zone in California and it covers portions of Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee and Mississippi. So if a major earthquake like a 7.7-8.5 happens the government will be overwhelm. Look at Katrina that was a disaster. An earthquake happens out of nowehere without warning like an earthquake.
If a truly historic earthquake did strike along the New Madrid fault the amount of damage that could be done to surrounding states such as Illinois, Kentucky, Mississippi, Indiana, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee could potentially be unimaginable.
Jeremy Heidt of the Tennessee Emergency Management Agency says that life in the region would be instantly transformed in the event of a major earthquake along the New Madrid fault….
“All communications would be out. All air travel would be out as the FAA air control would go down. All rail travel would fail. Ports would shut down; oil and natural gas pipelines could be off line.”

That these events: major quakes along the New Madrid, San Andreas, and even in NYC along the Hudson / Baltimore Cayon area will happen, are only a matter of time.

This just sounds like FEMA is preparing for an exercise. It doesn’t say they are purchasing the items, just they want a request for information about availability. Maybe they are actually planning ahead for an exericse. FEMA (and other Emergency Mangaement agencies) are supposed to plan ahead and run through any problems that could occur so when an actual response is needed, they have an idea.
Kind of like the TOPOFF exercise the year before Katrina when they told New Orleans it would take 48-72 hours after a mandatory evacuation order to evacuate the city. Instead, Mayor Nagin gave the mandatory order around 24 hours before it hit. Emergency Management agencies will always tell you that you need to be prepared to be on your own for 3-7 days.
The New Madrid Fault geological dynamics doesn’t permit the degree of certainty that FEMA appears to be engaging in. But what does, that would require similar (if not greater) amounts of requested survival resources is the YELLOWSTONE CALDERA !

What follows is pure conjecture I present for your consideration. Yes, it turned into a bit of a read so if you don’t want to take your time then just skip over it. There are those of you out there who read shtfplan.com that will give it your consideration. I await your responses.

What makes one believe FEMA is really looking for MREs, blankets and fuel for a New Madrid or Gulf event? Just because they issued an RFI? Simply because they say this is the event for which they are planning? I suppose they could have fore-knowledge of an event they don’t want to tell the populace about for fear of causing panic. Or is it maybe because FEMA is looking for 7,000,000 meals to take care of those people they consider special? Is it possible that for continuity of government purposes they are looking for meals and supplies necessary to provide for the needs of those who must make their way to secure facilities that have already been established?Â
So what I’m postulating is this: Should we believe FEMA simply because FEMA says this is the reason they are looking for this stuff or is it possible there is another reason they aren’t interested in divulging? I’m thinking the latter and not the former and if the truth were known it is probably a much larger event than they would ever have us believe…but that’s just the prepper in me.
Based on FEMA’s past performance, I’m convinced they could give a tinker’s damn about the average Joe or Jane in the aftermath of such an event. Remember the pictures and stories of those stranded in New Orleans on the bridges and in the stadium or how about the empty wheelchairs pushed to the curbs?
Since I believe lies are the primary device our government uses to divert and deceive I haven’t believed or trusted anything the government has said in my fifty-eight years on this rock — I can’t remember them ever telling the truth. I don’t think they’re going to start now either. So what is the real motivation for this RFI? I suppose we could play twenty questions ’till the cows come home.
I think maybe a more important consideration is the timing…why now? Just how long would it take to produce and ship this quantity of food, blankets and fuel to strategically located distribution centers? What would prevent the destruction of the storage facilities they would use? I’m asking, because I haven’t been involved in stockpiling to meet the needs seven million people — and I’m certain the folks who are from the government who are here to help you haven’t either. I can tell you though, it’s taken me quite a few years to prepare for my family, and I’m still continuing to do so to this day. While the government appears to have an unlimited money supply (they can print as much as they want) and manpower, there are still huge problems that exist involving the procurement, storage and distribution of such a vast quantity of material. To quote Clint Eastwood — A man’s gotta know his limitations…and if past FEMA performance equals future FEMA results, I’m convinced FEMA has no clue of their limitations, let alone have they overcome them.
A human can live about twenty days or so without food. Only three days without water (even though there are reports of some living quite a few days longer). So which is really more important — food or water? In all of this FEMA RFI blather, I think the most interesting thing is they haven’t issued an RFI for the procurement of water. You see, in an event such as this I believe that most folks will die of dehydration or basic hygiene issues related to a lack of water before they will die of hunger. If an adult can live about three weeks without food, but only three days or so without water then I ask you, what good is the drink mix (specified in the RFI for the MRE) without water? Where would such a vast quantity water come from to meet the daily requirements of seven million people? If such as catastrophic event such as, let’s say a 7.7 magnitude (or maybe even more powerful) New Madrid earthquake were to occur, how much of the existing infrastructure would be remain viable? It appears even FEMA is projecting that not very much would remain usable in the way of vital infrastructure. Would municipal water supplies still be functional? Certainly major power disruptions (as Mac identified) would be the order of the day. No power = no pumps…no pumps = no water pressure. No water at the tap means seven million thirsty people, provided they still had water taps at all.Â
The minimum daily requirements just for drinking for the average adult is about 3.2 quarts (in a temperate climate) per day. This does not include water for hygiene or cooking…just consumption. And if it is hot, and the adult is expending energy working even more water is needed. I think it would be safe to assume that many of the adults would be working to survive in more ways than one. The medical emergencies alone would be horrific and require even greater quantities of water than any simple back of the envelope estimate could begin to quantify.
So let’s just make some simple calculations here. If they are planning for seven million people to be fed for a period of ten days, they also must plan for seven million people to have water each of those ten days. So the basic calculation would go something like this: 7,000,000 people x 3.2 quarts/day water = 22,400,000 quarts of water per day or 5,600,000 gallons of potable water each and every day. Over a ten day period of time would require 56,000,000 gallons. Even if the water was distributed in 1.5 liter bottles it would require just a little over 22,190,452 one and one-half (1.5) liter bottles. Storing the water, let alone the distribution logistics boggles the mind (at least mine). And I’m pretty sure the UPS folks aren’t going to be humming their new theme song ‘that’s logistics’ as they scurry about in their little brown trucks dropping off cases of water to refuges on street corners. There probably aren’t enough national guard and regular military troops in the entire country available to deliver 22,190,452 – 1.5 liter bottles of water in a month, let alone a day. Even assuming the best case scenario and many of the municipal water supplies remained intact, there would still be an enormous need for potable water available in manageable containers (obviously because they are planning for seven million per day). Haiti’s recent devastating earthquake quickly comes to mind. They were (and remain to this day) without clean water for extended periods of time and there were numerous delays reported in the supply and/or delivery of clean water. That’s why they continue to report epidemics due to lack of clean, potable water in Haiti. And we haven’t even touched on the need to deal with the sanitation issues relating to seven million defecating souls — requiring many millions more gallons of water.
If we go one step further and the MREs are factored in (1200 calories/day specified in RFI) the problem has grown exponentially. An adult needs a minimum of 2,000 calories per day to meet minimal requirements if expected to perform at a reasonable level. Think about it, if you are in a survival situation you will need to be actively involved in meeting many other needs for yourself and your family. It’s hard work digging a latrine. Assume for the sake of discussion that we are feeding men, women and children. The average is 1.5 meals per day factoring for women and children.. That equates to 10,500,000 meals per day for 7 million people or 105,000,000 meals for a ten (10) day period. While I’m sure FEMA gets a superb quantity discount, even at $3.50 per meal it comes to a whopping $367,500,000…I’d bet Napolitano has called Geithner who has already called Ben at the Fraudulent Reserve Bank to crank up the printing presses!
To quote Colonel Troutman from the movie Rambo — “Don’t forget a good supply of body bags” — and they are obviously preparing for that too!
So here’s what I’ve prepared for my family. I have filled ten (10) fifty-five (55) gallon food grade barrels of potable drinking water. I rotate this water on a three month schedule and treat it with bleach to prevent bacteria growth. I have scouted and mapped all of the water sources in my area and know where they all are and I am also fortunate to have a free flowing creek at the back of my property. I’m referring to creeks, lakes, ponds and wells. I also capture rain water. I have procured three (3) high capacity drip (gravity) water filters. I chose Aquarain gravity water filters – http://www.aquarain.com – because they do not require any power and are made in the U.S.A., but I’m sure the Burkey or others would work equally well. I have also stocked an ample supply of replacement filter cartridges. Not to mention floor-to-ceiling #10 cans of real food and a useful supply of defense related items in varying calibers. Maybe this is just a FEMA exercise but regardless, I’m ready for whatever is thrown at me…
I pray that you will do the same and prepare – and continue to – while there is still some time left. If you are a refuge in a camp, you are a prisoner.

I came across the info on the gulf after i posted the article and thought it was worth putting in there. I am not sure if they are connected. Sorry for the confusion.
I am not implying that FEMA is going to stage an event I am reporting the facts and that is that FEMA is requesting info on 140 million packets of food, blankets, water, and body bags. What they are going to do with them(If they buy the them) remains to be seen. Any number of possibilities could come into play.

Those of us in “prep” mode have various reasons on why we do it. Elitism agenda’s of power and greed, corrupt governments, societal and economic upheavals to name a few. Mine include those and the upcoming pole shift changes. For over thirty years, I’ve been an observer of atmospheric, climatic and thermo changes and as a “disaster phenomena” student it so surprises me how “preppers” discard the significance of how this is interconnected and impacts our future.
These last five years has seen major increases and intensity in “disaster phenomena”.  Right now parts of the world are experiencing “biblical” draughts or flooding episodes. It’s not just about the weather, it’s about how our earth works which includes cyclical tectonic plate movement. Plate movement to date has been slow and methodical, but that is soon to change with increased sub ducting and releases. If one is paying attention, it’s not about “if” the Madrid Fault ruptures, it’s the “when”.  So when I read articles about governments, ours and others, running military and civilian drills and simulations, acquiring and stockpiling supplies, it’s just more connect the dots. And more reasons to keep prepping.

OK folks, get a life! Anyone who has at all looked at risks in the US has known that there has been extensive disaster planning since the 1970’s on the New Madrid Earthquake and other catastrophic scenarios.
This is not hype, its reality, and just as in 1811 and 1812, a major seismic event WILL occur again in the Central US. Just as we WILL continue have more hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and other disasters around the globe. It is NOT the end of the world, just NORMAL meteorological and seismic events that have occurred in cycles since the creation of the planet.
State and Federal RFI’s, RFP’s, ITB’s and ITN’s are let all the time for supplies, in fact states let far more RFI’s than the federal government does for these types of supplies, as required by their disaster plans, so this is nothing new and is how ALL government agencies purchase everything from Post-it notes to aircraft carriers.
In regards to the “camps”, again I refer to back to your history books and post Mariel Boat Lift. Do not be alarmed. FEMA’s National Level Exercise 2011 is a scenario where the New Madrid Fault repeats it’s 1811 episode (guess what, this is the two hundredth anniversary) .

VRF: You said in the video that the Catholic church has one bishop who says there is no hell. The church has hundreds of bishops. Some teach the bible and the teachings of the church and some are teaching their own version. This is no different than any other group. And if these two major continents started “rolling” the New Madrid fault would be the least of our worries wouldn’t it?
Cayce said the break up of the western portion of North America (LA?) would be the trigger event to the destruction of NYC, but that before that, there would be major eruptions of Mt Etna (Sicily).
Etna is erupting again, and has periodically for a few decades now. I assume he meant a truly major blast, like Mt St Helens or worse.
Manos - you said it well with “…we are not talking about the preparations that people in this site talk about…” That’s the part that concerns me.  Why aren’t we? It impacts our plans and preps. Many here have commented on sheeple thinking that all is well with the world when one only has to look around that events and times have changed.  Rick’s comments are an example. I agree with his statement “…It is NOT the end of the world….” BUT, I do take issue with “….just NORMAL meteorological and seismic events that have occurred in cycles since the creation of the planet…”
The same could be said about other historical events like wars, plagues, famine, power, resources and land grabs, government and economy overthrows are all events that have occurred in cycles since the creation of man. So should our position be to do nothing – it’s all normal? I say something is different and what’s coming and what we are experiencing is not normal. It’s why I, for one, prep and invest in skills, equipment, supplies and barter for a multitude of possibilities.
Take gardening for instances. Because I’m factoring in climatic changes and disaster events, my position has/had been to keep it mobile. As I never expected to feed the world, I choose through trial, error, experience and acquiring years of new, recycled and repurposed garden materials to feed family, co workers and friends using non traditional growing methods.
These last several months, kinda got caught up in the must have garden preps and conventional ways of growing same. This fall, expanded and layed out five raised beds, using landscaping cloth and recycled oak beams. (1) 50 x 20. (2) 20 X10 and (2) 10 x 6. This week I had arranged for 3 inches of primo straw and cow manure and 8 inches of screened dirt to be dropped off, when I got one of those- WTF moments!  Why? As Manos says, we don’t talk about it here.
Normal seismic and meteorological events my a$$!!!! Even main news venues have mentioned 500 year” cycles which equates to not normal. If you are not connecting the dots that tectonic plates and magna movement is related to the increase in numbers and intensity of volcanic, earthquakes, tsunamis, mud slides, sink holes, flooding and draughts, to name a few climatic changes, then you are not paying attention.  And if you are into prepping, then you should.
One should be asking why the government with media help is suppressing information and misdirecting folks to the sources of disasters to weather, rain, high tides, high winds, cyclones or landslides. It’s not about weather, it’s that several plates are in motion/adjusting.
For now it is the Indo-Australian Plate with Indonesia including Bangladesh sinking in places.  Pakistan has and is flooding and “not” draining as it is suppose to because it too is actually – sinking!  The Coral Sea is rising and Australia is reporting “walls” of water flowing upstream with continued flooding. Not known to have happen before. Multi countries and nations are being affected as this post is being read, yet the true source and content of disasters and resulting displacements of hundreds of thousands of people are down played and covered over.
I’ve used several websites including TerraDaily, Global Disaster Alert and Coordination Systems and Zeta Talk which states: (flooding) “… it is related to the rising of the eastern edge of the Indo-Australian Plate. As the buoys in the area show, the entire region is rising. Water trapped between two land masses has difficulty redistributing quickly and smoothly, as every direction has water rushing about, trying to find the lowest level. The sudden rise in the floor of the seas around eastern Australia caused this water to flow west, primarily, and for the coast of Queensland, this included flowing up river. There has been an attempt to disguise this slosh by pointing to the weather. Weather reports are pointing to rainfall along the coast, where this slosh is most noticeable. But why would rainfall on the coast cause such extensive flooding upriver?
There are Madrid Fault inklings of plate activity given the recent earthquake swarms in Arkansas. The activity will be increasing in the near future which brings us to why as preppers we should care about the Madrid Fault or the Yellowstone caldron for that matter.  The unnatural disasters and devastation taking place on the other side of the world has destroyed the means for many traditional farmers and gardeners to provide and supplement their food supply. There are lessons there for us as we go forth with our preps. I’m back to my original plan and that’s my non traditional mobile gardening methods. For the coming times, I think it is important to think and act outside of the box.

This is greatly increased by the folding of the Mariana Trench and the Philippine Plate. Once the folding of the Pacific has occurred, Japan has been destabilized..” and ” we point out that it is not until the North Island of Japan experiences its strong quakes that a tsunami causing sloshing near Victoria occurs. The tearing of the Seaway does not end at Duluth, MN. It travels underground to South Dakota…”

NASA – Pakistan’s Flooding not Receding
Tectonic changes are now coming in fast succession.
Pakistan has officially lost land elevation.
Bangkok, Thailand is also experiencing difficulty in getting flood waters to drain off.
Jakarta, Indonesia on the Island of Java is sinking as roads and land along the drainage canals is collapsing.
Viet Nam is witness to an epidemic of sinkholes, another indication of land and tectonic plate subduction.
The Philippines Tectonic Plate is now sinking with flooding reported.
What is now being reported the Indo-Australia tectonic plate began to tilt on the western region on that tectonic plate where Pakistan is today located. As the land subsided, the flood waters were now trapped. The news that has not been reported is that much of this flooded region will never be recovered, for it is now permanently under water in Pakistan’s new lake district; no homes, no farms, no crops, and now starvation.
The tilting of the Indo-Australian Plate caused an adjustment in the sub-oceanic regions as far as the KTT (Kermadee Tonga Trench) when in September 3, 2010, the sub-oceanic trench that runs straight across New Zealand’s 3rd largest city, Christchurch, a large 7.4 magnitude earthquake devastated large portions of their beautiful city. This tectonic adjustment put pressure on the “tongue†of the Eurasian Plate pushing down into Indonesia and that island nation began to sink. This again has not been reported in the international news.
Six months later, December, 2010, the Earth Observatory, operated by NASA admitted that with comparing satellite images of Pakistan from 2010 and one year earlier, the elevation of Pakistan had dropped – 10 feet. As reported on EarthObservatory:

The losses were astronomical. Over 17 million acres of Pakistan’s prime fertile crop land along the Indus River was submerged. Over 200,000 livestock were killed. Not only was the 2010 crop season destroyed, but for most farmers, they were not able to plant new seed for the fall planting deadline suggesting that massive loss of food production for the 2011 agricultural season would bring increase catastrophic losses. The 2010 losses included:
700,000 acres of cotton crops destroyed,
200,000 acres of sugar cane lost,
200,000 acres of rice ruined, plus
500,000 tons of stocked wheat ruined, while
300,000 acres of animal fodder and stored grain ruined destroyed.

I’m afraid you may have misunderstood the intention of my post.
Yes, I’ve read all the plate movement data coming out too (I watch it pretty closely) and I agree with you there is a big earth change a comin’! My point is this, it could be an earthquake, could be Yellowstone’s megavolcano, could be a meteor, could be a nuke, could be God knows what…but the point is no one will know until it happens. And maybe not even then, just that something catastrophic has occurred. Like I said, we can speculate ’till the cows come home.
The reason the government says they are doing something and the reasons they really do it are always – it seems to me anyway – different than those they advertise. An RFI of this nature is an advertisement that someone, somewhere has some information about something. As such, it should be at least considered a warning in some form. Must be the old boy scout in me, but I’m saying be prepared.
The point I was making in my post is this — they (FEMA) are not considering the most essential life sustaining requirement, and that is what I would like those who read and study the information on this blog to be aware of (I know most are, except those living in the dark) — WATER!! WATER!! WATER!! Sure, food and blankets are important, but you can die long before you need a meal without potable water. I’d say it’s a safe bet that those reading this blog have a blanket and a few cans of soup in the pantry and a couple of crisp ones available. If the New Madrid fault splits the country in two and we have a new inland sea it won’t matter to millions of souls anyway. If the good Lord decides today will be the day the earthquake that is prophesied to occur at the end of the world happens, our fore knowledge or speculation of the event won’t change a thing.
I’m betting you’ve heard of the rules of three. If you haven’t, here they are:
You can live:
3 minutes without oxygen
3 hours without shelter
3 days without water
3 weeks without food
If you are planning to rely on FEMA for anything (and you haven’t prepared at all), you will either become a refuge and find home in a camp where you may have a chance for a daily MRE and a blanket or you will be a dead man. If they (FEMA) don’t have water, you’ll be dead very soon.
Make sure you have made adequate preparations for WATER, including acquisition, purification, storage and distribution for your immediate needs. You may not be able to venture outside to search for water for a days or maybe even weeks. So if the tap runs dry make certain you have an adequate supply available to ride out any storm. In the event of a catastrophe, regardless of source or whether the gubermint has adequately prepared (my opinion is they CAN’T), your responsibility to yourself and to your family is to prepare and prepare as well as you possibly can.

Mark Levin explained the reason the Feds waited to bring Katrina relief is that they had to wait for the go ahead from the state. They could not exceed their authority without the governor’s permission. So Katrina blame is not fully earned by FEMA. Contrast that with the gulf oil spill where the governor was begging the feds to act, and they dragged their feet. That being said, when there is a disaster, you are not only waiting on the feds, but also your state to bring aid. You might be prepared, but your rioting neighbors will be a reduced threat to you once the aid arrives.Â
Here is some more information that sheds a bit of light as to what is going on down in the Gulf of Mexico and how it is related to New Madrid. The Gulf has become very active due to the oil volcano that BP “tapped” into and it is a toxic bowl of soup waiting to be distributed by a hurricane or a tidal wave or perhaps both, at different times. The Gulf and New Madrid are very closely related on a number of different levels.

actually you’re wrong, the damage area of an earthquake on the new madrid fault is quite large. the quakes in the 1800s were felt as far away as washington, d.c, and i’ve read reports that say as far away as boston, ma and parts of new hampshire… here is a map of the power of the last quakes in new madrid:

You will notice that 2 states with really large populations are not in the effected area, namely Texas and Florida – with a combined population of about 43 million people. These 2 states are included in the FEMA rfi for meals for a New Madrid event – yet they are not in the area that would be effected by such an event.
If you examine the rfi, you will see that states like N.Carolina and S. Carolina are included while states in direct proximity of the fault like Tennesee, Arkansas and Illinois are not.
This means that most likely the New Madrid event is being used as cover to acquire supplies for another reason altogether.
The common factor for all the states included in the MRI are they are either directly connected to the gulf of mexico or are states that the Gulf currents flow by. The fact that underwater body bags are being requested, may mean this will be a water based event, like a tsunami or methane hydrate explosion.
The total population of the affected states within the RFI is approx. 80 million according to the latest census – MRE are only requested for 7 million, so either a lot of people die and only a few survive – less than 10 per cent – or the other 90 percent will not be effected at all – at least that is what I infer from the data supplied in the RFI.
GYNMM: Maybe they are looking to stockpile supplies where the refugees are likely to go. Nothing sinister about that.

I think i have read everything on the web..from aliens to false falg operations..fema and harrp. It’s hard to know what to beleive. I can say after spending week’s on the web i knew something horrible was going to occur on 3/11/11. Now am reading about harrp. It does seem that everytime there is a earthquake/severe weather harrp has been shown to be very active. Harrp has been seen to be highly active over the states having severe weather. I suppose if the madried goes while fema is there it will tell me we are all in big trouble..i think i would be convinced our government is trying to destroy the american ppl. I know if i wake up May 17 and hear the news the madrid erupted i will go and spend my entire paycheck on food and water..even though i live on the west coast..a serious earthquake in the midwest would halt food supplies and other commodities. I can not beleive the news am hearing these day’s.The question is was fema doing their exercises 9/11? Is it true they have shown up rt. before a disaster?
In regards to the FEMA test in November. On 9/11/01 there was also a government test. 7/7 London, there was also a government test. See a trend here?
I was buying food today and watched as this family of 14 people were loading up on can goods by the case of everything. I am taking a good guess and would say the Bill would be around 2500 dollars or more. My self I always buy a few cases of stuff anyway for the past year now. I asked the guy if he was having a big party :joking of course! At first he gave me a serious look and then smiled nope! I asked if he was a follower of the Doomsday show and he laughed and said you should take it serious! I asked him if he knew something all of us did not know? He said, :Son: (very very low key ” wisper”””!!! I work for FEMA and well just take care of your family and soon because no one else will! He was as dead cold serious that put goose bumps on me! I don’t scare easy or believe half the crap people or our government has to say but this guy caught my attention and the amount of food they bought. In checking on the links provided, it seems the request for food was cancelled 3 days after the request.
The white blankets are to cover dead bodies, duh. It’s not going to be an earthquake, it’s going to be an asteroid. All of these sources have it wrong.
