The MLK Assassination Verdict That Wasn’t Reported: “Civil Trial Found US Government Guilty of Assassination/Wrongful Death”

Editor’s Note: More than 46 years after the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on the national holiday dedicated to his legacy, it is worth remembering that his efforts were to fight against the systematic injustices, including the wrongs of the Vietnam War – going on in the time preceding his murder – and the many facets of discrimination addressed by the civil rights movement.

His family fought to prove in court that the government – not yet another lone assassin – was responsible for his death. Despite the facts, the media blacked out the revelations of this trial, just as it has been complicit in suppressing damning info from other major events, including the JFK and RFK assassinations.  The implications for this unchecked government power are astounding…

Does MLK’s legacy lend itself to people seeking justice and equal rights by granting ever more power to the government to care for and secure them – given the knowledge we have about the amoral nature of the system? If the truth of the major assassinations in the 60s – including both Kennedy’s, Dr. King and Malcolm X – cannot be told, how can this system possibly uphold the pursuit of truth and justice?

Martin Luther King assassinated by US Govt: King Family civil trial verdict

Coretta Scott King: “We have done what we can to reveal the truth, and we now urge you as members of the media, and we call upon elected officials, and other persons of influence to do what they can to share the revelation of this case to the widest possible audience.” – King Family Press Conference, Dec. 9, 1999.

Dr. King’s 2-minute message to you:

Dr. Martin Luther King’s family and personal friend/attorney, William F. Pepper, won a civil trial that found US government agencies guilty of assassination/wrongful death. The 1999 trial, King Family versus Jowers and Other Unknown Co-Conspirators, is the only trial ever conducted on the assassination of Dr. King. The King Center fully documents the case, with full trial transcript.

The overwhelming evidence of US government complicity found valid by the jury includes:

    • US 111th Military Intelligence Group were at Dr. King’s location during the assassination.
    • 20th Special Forces Group had an 8-man sniper team at the assassination location on that day.
    • Usual Memphis Police special body guards were advised they “weren’t needed” on the day of the assassination.
    • Regular and constant police protection for Dr. King was removed from protecting Dr. King an hour before the assassination.
    • Military Intelligence set-up photographers on the roof of a fire station with clear view to Dr. King’s balcony.
    • Dr. King’s room was changed from a secure 1st-floor room to an exposed balcony room.
    • Memphis police ordered the scene where multiple witnesses reported as the source of shooting cut down of their bushes that would have hid a sniper.
    • Along with sanitizing a crime scene, police abandoned investigative procedure to interview witnesses who lived by the scene of the shooting.
    • The rifle Mr. Ray delivered was not matched to the bullet that killed Dr. King, and was not sighted to accurately shoot.

Also, the FBI acted to cause Dr. King’s death by suicide. The FBI illegally spied on Dr. King, used data in attempt to split leadership, and sent Dr. King a letter promising to expose alleged sexual misconduct. This was part of the FBI’s illegal COINTELPRO program.

Please read the above evidence twice to be clear on its overwhelming power.

The King family’s attempts for a criminal trial were always denied by state and federal government. Claimed suspect, James Ray, said that his government-appointed attorney told him to sign a guilty plea to prevent the death penalty and threatened arrests of his father and brother as co-conspirators for his only part in the assassination plot: delivering a rifle. Mr. Ray produced a letter from his attorney stating the promise that Mr. Ray would receive a trial. When Mr. Ray discovered that he was solely blamed for Dr. King’s assassination and would never receive a trial, Mr. Ray’s subsequent recants of his guilty plea and requests for trial were denied.

The US government also denied the King family’s requests for independent investigation of the assassination, despite the overwhelming evidence produced at the 1999 civil trial. Dr. King’s wife, Coretta, spent more than twice the number of years she was married to Martin working to get a criminal trial for her husband’s assassination.

Importantly, the US government has never presented any evidence subject to challenge that substantiates their claim that Mr. Ray assassinated Dr. King.

The King family believes the government’s motivation to murder Dr. King was to prevent his imminent camp-in/Occupy at Washington, D.C. until the Vietnam War was ended and those resources directed to end poverty and invest in US hard and soft infrastructure.

US corporate media did not cover the civil trial, interview the King family, and textbooks omit this information. This is crucial evidence of a controlled corporate media rejecting coverage of a game-changing story. Journalist and author, James Douglass:

“I can hardly believe the fact that, apart from the courtroom participants, only Memphis TV reporter Wendell Stacy and I attended from beginning to end this historic three-and-one-half week trial. Because of journalistic neglect scarcely anyone else in this land of ours even knows what went on in it. After critical testimony was given in the trial’s second week before an almost empty gallery, Barbara Reis, U.S. correspondent for the Lisbon daily Publico who was there several days, turned to me and said, ‘Everything in the U.S. is the trial of the century. O.J. Simpson’s trial was the trial of the century. Clinton’s trial was the trial of the century. But this is the trial of the century, and who’s here?’ ”

For comparison, please consider the media coverage of O.J. Simpson’s trials:

“Media coverage of the Simpson trial, which began in January 1995, was unlike any other. Over two thousand reporters covered the trial, and 80 miles of cable was required to allow nineteen television stations to cover the trial live to 91 percent of the American viewing audience. When the verdict was finally read on October 3, 1995, some 142 million people listened or watched. It seemed the nation stood still, divided along racial lines as to the defendant’s guilt or innocence. During and after the trial, over eighty books were published about the event by most everyone involved in the Simpson case.”

Coretta Scott King was certain of the evidence after 30 years of consideration from the 1968 assassination to the 1999 trial:

“For a quarter of a century, Bill Pepper conducted an independent investigation of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. He opened his files to our family, encouraged us to speak with the witnesses, and represented our family in the civil trial against the conspirators. The jury affirmed his findings, providing our family with a long-sought sense of closure and peace, which had been denied by official disinformation and cover-ups. Now the findings of his exhaustive investigation and additional revelations from the trial are presented in the pages of this important book. We recommend it highly to everyone who seeks the truth about Dr. King’s assassination.” — Coretta Scott King.

The US Department of Justice issued a report in 2000 that explained their claimed investigation into their own possible guilt in the assassination. They concluded that they found no evidence to warrant further investigation. Dr. King’s son issued the following statement rebuking the “self-study” rather than independent investigation:

“We learned only hours before the Justice Department press conference that they were releasing the report of their results of their ‘limited investigation,’ which covered only two areas of new evidence concerning the assassination of Dr. King. We had requested that we be given a copy of the report a few days in advance so that we might have had the opportunity to review it in detail. Since that courtesy was not extended to us, we are only able at this time to state the following:

    1. We initially requested that a comprehensive investigation be conducted by a Truth and Reconciliation Commission, independent of the government, because we do not believe that, in such a politically-sensitive matter, the government is capable of investigating itself.

    2. The type of independent investigation we sought was denied by the federal government. But in our view, it was carried out, in a Memphis courtroom, during a month-long trial by a jury of 12 American citizens who had no interest other than ascertaining the truth. (Kings v. Jowers)

    3. After hearing and reviewing the extensive testimony and evidence, which had never before been tested under oath in a court of law, it took the Memphis jury only one (1) hour to find that a conspiracy to kill Dr. King did exist. Most significantly, this conspiracy involved agents of the governments of the City of Memphis, the state of Tennessee and the United States of America. The overwhelming weight of the evidence also indicated that James Earl Ray was not the triggerman and, in fact, was an unknowing patsy.

    4. We stand by that verdict and have no doubt that the truth about this terrible event has finally been revealed.

    5. We urge all interested Americans to read the transcript of the trial on the King Center website and consider the evidence, so they can form their own unbiased conclusions.

Although we cooperated fully with this limited investigation, we never really expected that the government report would be any more objective than that which has resulted from any previous official investigation.”

Let’s summarize: Under US Civil Law, covert US government agencies were found guilty of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King. Dr. King was the leading figure of the Civil Rights Movement, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, and widely recognized as one of the world’s greatest speakers for what it means to be human. The family’s conclusion as to motive was to prevent Dr. King from ending the Vietnam War because the government wanted to continue its ongoing illegal covert and overt military operations to control foreign governments and their resources.

It is therefore a factual statement that under US Civil Law, the US government assassinated Dr. King.

People of sufficient intellectual integrity and moral courage to apply critical thinking skills will embrace the trial evidence and testimony, jury conclusion, and King family analysis as appropriate and helpful information in seeking the facts.

People who at least temporarily reject challenging information out of fear might say something like, “The government killed Dr. King? That’s a crazy conspiracy theory!”

    Let’s consider that statement.

When someone says that a body of evidence is “crazy,” or a “conspiracy theory” (meaning an irrational claim easily refuted by the evidence) that’s a claim. With a claim comes a burden of proof. In this case, the person would have to demonstrate command of the facts to explain and prove why the evidence from the civil trial is somehow “crazy” and refute the evidence.

If the person can do this, it would be tremendously helpful in understanding the facts. However, we know from our experience that such statements almost always have zero factual support, and that the person making such a claim literally doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

We also know from our experience, a person making such a statement is really voicing an emotional reaction something closer to, “The government killed Dr. King? Ok, I read and understood the paragraphs about the trial and evidence. I read Mrs. King’s and her son’s statement. I haven’t invested the time to verify how valid that information is. I’m not stupid, but because the implications of what that means is so disturbing, I’m going to deny anything about it could possibly be true as my first response. If I’m going to continue being in denial and refuse to discuss the evidence, I’ll attack the messenger.”

We also need to consider the lack of coverage by US corporate media of this compelling evidence, trial verdict, and King family testimony from over 30 years’ analysis of the facts. Recall the evidence of US corporate media reporting being infiltrated by CIA agents to propagandize Americans’ access to information. This included the Director of the CIA’s admission to Congress that they have over 400 agents working in corporate media to make the US public believe what the CIA wants them to believe.

In 2006, George Washington University used a Freedom of Information Act request to obtain the US military’s “Information Operations Roadmap.” This formerly secret and approved document details present US government strategies to generate propaganda, and then attack Internet alternative media that provides dangerous facts and discussion. The military promoted the term, “Fight the net.”

Although I won’t enter the burden of proof here, you may know that there are similar and related bodies of evidence that the US government assassinated other American leaders. The 1975 Senate Church Committee disclosed that the US government initiated and helped assassination attempts on multiple foreign heads of state.

If we were discussing how the population of some other nation could employ critical thinking skills to understand current events from anytime in history, we would certainly understand the importance to anticipate disinformation from government, danger of controlled media, and assassination as a political weapon.

Failure to do so would appropriately elicit the label attributed to the first dictator of the Soviet Union, Vladimir Lenin. Such people who believe what their government tells them when the history and present have overwhelming objective evidence to explain, document, and prove that the government is typical of so many other historical self-serving oligarchies are:

    “Useful idiots.”

To the extent the United States today is any different from all other nations and all other times is up to your exercise of critical thinking skills.

And that said, objective, measurable, and independently verifiable facts easily explain, document, and prove US history of:

An obvious question: What does the 99.99% of humanity do to end these viciously psychopathic assassinations of our best people, end lie-started Wars of Aggression, end bankster looting, and genuinely have opportunity to create a bright future for all Earth’s inhabitants?

An obvious answer: We tell the truth/facts, arrest obvious criminals, and have media broadcast our true condition so we may begin. I explain here:

2015 Winning Time: 3 phases to 99.99%’s victory over .01% criminal psychopaths

      1. Haven’t frequented in a while.

But I don’t see comments from Be Informed.

        What happened?

        • MIA but he pops in from time to time…

        • MIA or KIA??? I miss him

        • He’s doing an interesting project. I’m sure he will be back when it’s finished

      2. Dr Martin Luther King was a great man,
We are sorely lacking in truly great men and women these days.

        • Same shit, new day.

          • Yup

            • The United States government is so dirty
it makes me feel dirty through association
              as one of it’s citizens.

          • our government has been corrupt for a very long time! just appears now they are targeting more of us common folk and that is what will get them in the end!I HOPE!!

          • Amen.

However we should all take note that they silenced the man, but could not silence the truth that he spoke!

My boy has spent today researching MLK and is left inspired by some of his sentiments. Things like not just standing and watching as injustice is served upon your neighbour and to keep plodding away no matter the odds.

He has even made a poster for his bedroom based upon this quote

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.”

Somehow I can’t see many of today’s teachers asking the young males in their charge to hold the above in their hearts and minds.

I do realise that like many leaders MLK was NOT perfect, being not a messiah but just a man, with flaws like any other. However I have to ask how did we accept the decline from speeches and ideals such as those he espoused to the gimme dat shit stirring ijeets like Jesse Jackson and Obama? When was all and any pretence at moral principle or faith lost? In recent years I can only remember Ron Paul on your side of the Atlantic and The Rev Tutu on ours even attempting to align with such a thing.

I apologise for my unladylike language above but really when you think how low we’ve sunk it is demoralising. The mere concept of “statesman” seems to have died when Thatcher did. Our young should not have to look to the past for leadership in the constant and ongoing struggle for freedom.

            • Lonelonemum, good post but I have to respectfully disagree with you about desmond tutu. He was a communist and an anarchist who once told the West to go to hell. Look at the decline of South Africa since the fall of apartheid and the crimes being committed against the white people there.

              • It’s a little difficult to be both a communist and an anarchist at the same time.

                Just sayin’.

          • same comment on every page, new day.

        • MLK was a communist, financed with russian momey, trained at a communist training camp in east Tennessee, and had a harem of sluts, both black and white as big as any New York pimp.

He was instumental is the Civil Rights act being passed when he teamed up with that scoundrel LBJ and you see how that turned out for the country, and both black and white races.

It makes me sick to my stomach to here people praise this communist whoremonger.

Excuse me now while I go puke!

          • J. Edgar would be proud of you… Evidence, please? Nobody has produced the alleged “Incriminating” sex tape — much less confirmed a harem.
Let’s say you’re correct, however; just for argument…
Those private beliefs and acts are not only perfectly legal, but essentially meaningless when compared to the public strength, perseverance, humanity, and courage clearly and consistently demonstrated in his work.
It sounds like you’ve bought into some else’s hate.

          • Same here, sooooo many people just believe the BS about MLK that was fed to them in public school and through the govt controlled media. MLK was NOT a good man!!!!

            • well, if we are going to proceed along that particular line of thinking, then isn’t everything we’ve ever heard about Kennedy, Eisenhower, Patton, Franklin Roosevelt, George Washington, Ben franklin, etc, etc, the same BS as we were fed in public schools and the government controlled media? You can’t have it both ways.

      3. Yes, they killed him…just like they are doing all kinds of other stuff today that people stick their heads in the sand and refuse to believe. Just wait until the Russians and Chinese kick this country’s ass in WW3 and start releasing government documents exposing all this stuff. Before it’s over with, nobody in their right mind will be able to deny that Nazi America was far worse than Nazi Germany.

        • Not sure how readers can go on without getting sick to their stomach from this post. “Just wait until the Russians and Chinese kick this country’s ass in WW3 and start releasing government documents exposing all this stuff”. To get to that point implies that we will be around to witness such an event. I am saddened to consider what that means for the many likes voted for this post.
I have as much disdain for tyranny, subterfuge and broken promises as any here. I rack my brain for ways that I might reverse or fight the governmental decay. I recognize that our government is corrupt and dangerous. However, there is no way on earth that I will be alive after a hypothetical WW3 where the Chinese and Russians are able present the “re-education plan” to the conquered people of America. Instead, my last ounce of energy will be spent fighting such invaders. I would like to think others on this blog would join me.
Many on this blog seem in a hurry for the American people to get their just desserts; however, I can only be sickened by the suggestion that our “cleansing” requires the defeat by enemy forces that don’t even pretend to be as freedom loving as ours nor are they any less corrupt and dangerous.

          • ” However, there is no way on earth that I will be alive after a hypothetical WW3 where the Chinese and Russians are able present the “re-education plan” to the conquered people of America. Instead, my last ounce of energy will be spent fighting such invaders. I would like to think others on this blog would join me.”

Of course you would. Just like the Nazis who were willing to die to defend Berlin after the whole God damned country was bombed to ruins around them. Fanatics such as yourself don’t think too clearly.

“Many on this blog seem in a hurry for the American people to get their just desserts; however, I can only be sickened by the suggestion that our “cleansing” requires the defeat by enemy forces that don’t even pretend to be as freedom loving as ours nor are they any less corrupt and dangerous. ”

Well it’s too fucking bad, because your “sickness” or “happiness” makes exactly fuck-all worth of difference to the final outcome. My post lays it out to you exactly how it’s going to happen. It’s time for you to acknowledge and accept that this country is hell-bound and there is absolutely jack shit you can do about it, except prepare for the inevitable outcome. The America you love is a disgusting piece of shit and deserves to die in a fire. Get right with your own community and people and stop trying to save the USA; it’s not going to happen.

      4. How many affairs did he have?

        • how many sins did David,in the Old Testament commit ???

          • Satori, the coon was no David.

        • How does that change his message? How does your past behaviors change your message how?

        • Who knows, and who cares, except for his wife? As far as I know, she said nothing derogatory about him. His public actions DO matter to everyone, and they were superlative.

      5. martin luther king is truly a kindred spirit of the real flesh and blood visionary jesus christ who was just a simple common born man from bethlehem, palestine.

both men saw the truth of the world, their is a better path to love of all , a purer enlightened form of human existence upon the earth.

and for their forward thinking enlightened intelligence both were destroyed like others of their kind who dared to dream of a better society over the centuries whom threatened the well entrenched status-quo of the few ruling elite families , criminally corrupt false religions and the ignorant belief systems of the 99.9% uneducated closed minded sheeple who blindly follow.

And it is still going on today… here in Zog Amerika and around the world those who dare to be different and speak out or dare to even fight , expose the lies deceit and corruption of the traitorous politically elite and their zog gestapo agents of evil chaos are quickly silenced by nighttime black bag suicide raids by their own governments, secret shadow government agents.

such as the zionist nwo globalist banker oligarchy murderous lying thieving corrupt traitorous agents the zog-fbi, zog-cia, zog-nsa, zog-dhs and israehell zio-jew mossad.

r.i.p. mlk, they may have killed the man, they though will never kill his legacy.

        • The only difference between MLK and Geezuss is that MLK was actually real.

          • gonna have to disagree, there is to much real physical evidence, jesus the man existed, an i’m a practicing Secular Agnostic.

            • I didn’t say he never existed, just that he wasn’t real, at least not in the way the churches and bibles portray him as some bullshit miracle worker that’s gonna come back and save anyone who gave their minds and money to the cult leaders.

              • I know He is real, He came and hugged me once.

      6. Of course the .gov snipers picked him off!! Who else could or would have?

        • Have you noticed that when the government assassinates someone they blame it on some poor southern boy with two first names?

      7. This is irrelevant

Audit the damn FED , hang the traitors

Kick off the civil war 2.0

Bring back freedom , liberty , and justice to our former country

        • Tomorrow is another day. We still have a few left…

      8. I think it is safe to say.

That when the truth is told, or about to be told.

Or when someones money flow is interruption.

It will never change, and it never will.

      9. On April 4, 1967, Dr. King delivered a speech condemning our involvement in Vietnam and linked our country’s participation in that evil with the increasing impoverishment of Americans and declining opportunities for all, especially its children.

[Note to reader: there are more poor whites than there are poor blacks in our country numerically. As a race, blacks have a higher rate of poverty and are concentrated in the cities whereas impoverished whites are disproportionately in rural areas.]

Even Dr. King’s closest advisors said, “Martin, what are you doing? We’re about Civil Rights for our people, not about military policy!”

Dr. King responded by explaining, as he did in his speech, (and I will use my words here) that the military-industrial complex and our nation’s senseless policy of warring against defenseless people was creating both spiritual and economic death (while enriching, as today, those with ownership in companies that build weapons, and you know who they are– some have held public office.)

His speech was so monumental, stirring, prophetic that Exactly one year later on April 4, 1968, our Government assassinated him.

It wasn’t the first time they took out a Truth Teller, and it won’t be the last.

The same forces that killed both Kennedy’s and Dr. King are the same forces behind the new world order, wanting a ONE world government which in effect, would destroy the liberty and EVERY form of freedom to which you, I, and all people around the globe are entitled as sons and daughters of God the Father! Their plan is to enslave everyone mentally and physically through the chip, the mark of the beast.

Obama’s soon to come declaration of Martial Law is one necessary prerequisite to their master plan.

Their bullets killed Dr. King, but bullets can’t kill the truth, and it is to the TRUTH that this site is dedicated when controlled lamestream media mesmerizes everyone else with 213 cable channels and endless or extremish sports idolatry.

These are the same people who not only arm both sides of any conflict in order to reduce who they describe or believe to be “undesirables” but who also foment RACISM in order to deflect our attention or distract US from their insidious destructiveness (evil): gmo food, chem trails, cancerous and autism-causing vaccines, and more.

Our government’s asymmetrical warfare which caused Russia’s ruble to devalue by 50% is just one major element putting us on the cusp of World War III, and we are also on the cusp of the Divine Warning, first prophesied in the early 1960’s (

In the meantime, pray, get right with God every day, and continue to prep.

        Watch your six.

Resist, REFUSE to be manipulated by the powers that be.

And if you want to read some words that still apply to today, read the text of Dr. King’s 4/4/67 speech.

        – the Lone Ranger

“We must learn to live together as [sisters and] brothers or we will perish together as fools.”
        – Dr. King

“True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. It comes to see that an edifice that produces beggars needs restructuring.” Dr. King, 4/4/67

“A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.” – Dr. King, 4/4/67

        • Lone Ranger
This country is going to live together?

          Biggest Pipe Dream Ever.

          • You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope some day you’ll join us
And the world will live as one
            – Imagine, by John Lennon

Well slingshot, it is your BELIEF that we must live “apart” (that is, not ‘together’) that PREVENTS us from seeing each other as fellow sisters and fellow brothers, daughters and sons, if you will, of our Heavenly Father, our Divine Parent.

Why succumb to the divisiveness the king of lies revels in, slingshot?

Which is what the evildoers count on so that our inner (and outer) eyes are kept OFF of THEM and their deeds of EVIL!

I suggest that if you aim TRUTH with your slingshot at the EVIL these people do, then their power weakens.

They HATE the light of the TRUTH, slingshot!

They feed on fear, lies, scapegoating, confusion, narcissism.

Their is only one cure: TRUTH coupled with Divine Fearlessness.

THAT is what Dr. King was all about: Unrelenting Fearlessness + Truth.

May God rest his soul with all the great soul warriors against evil– that which destroys!

            – the Lone Ranger

            • John Lennon said the Beatles were more known than Jesus Christ. I think Lennon was a socialist at heart too.

As John making a statement, I also do by saying it is a Pipe Dream. Nothing to do with good or Evil.

              But your comment has substance.

              • Slingshot, as I said earlier, the song “Imagine” was about one-world government. Most people to this day don’t know that.

              • Lennon was actually saddened that people paid more attention to his group than to Jesus Christ.

And Lennon’s anthen, “Imagine”, was a social commentary against:
                – rich who took possession and control of the earth God gave to all of us, not an elite few;
                – those who wield war instead of giving the justice that leads to peace a chance;-
                – and a critique of false religion that is more ‘feel-goodism’ than it is the Christ-like passion that works against injustice and confronts evil which authentic or true religous faith is.

                • I Dont LiKe TheM gOwD DaMM beAtleS.

            • Lone Ranger, most people aren’t aware, but when the Beatles recorded the song “Imagine”, they were singing about one-world government.

              • The Beatles didn’t record ‘Imagine’, John Lennon recorded it after the breakup.

The lyrics are total unicorn-land leftist drivel.

          • Even the tyrant Lincoln knew and said that the black and white races couldn’t be ruled by the same laws and that they would never be equal.

        • The UAW Labor Leader Walter Reuther, after publicly condemning both the MIC, Kent State and US involvement in Vietnam, couldn’t seem to fly in airplanes with a working altimeter; not one, but two such failures occurred in aircraft with him aboard within six months. The second incident killed Mr Reuther in 1970 along with everyone aboard the plane he was in.

      10. Lone Ranger, excellent post. Nothing I it I can dispute.

        • Thank you, Renegade Braveheart, with you saying that it means a lot to me.

If I can be just one-fiftieth the man HE was, then maybe my life will have been worth it!

          – the Lone Ranger

          • To Lone Ranger and everyone else here. I’ve posted this story once before here but it seems fitting to post it again. I was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Except for 7 years I spent in FL, this has always been my home. On April 4, 1968, my Dad and I were downtown when the assassination took place. We had just left a lawyer’s office and were driving home when we got the news on the car radio that MLK had been shot. We were coming up to a red light not far from the Lorraine Motel when all hell broke loose and a lot of blacks began rioting. We were in a 1964 Ford Galaxy stopped at a red light waiting on it to change when a black male with a baseball bat came up, jumped on the hood of the car, and starting hitting the windshield. Dad called out, “Hang on, son!” and floored the gas pedal, knocking the black male from the car. There were no cops in the immediate area and Dad ran a bunch of red lights to get us on home. it’s a wonder we made it without getting pulled over. We waited for weeks afterward whether we would be contacted by police about the incident. Dad was way too scared to report it thinking HE would face charges, considering the national political atmosphere at that time. Time passed and we never heard anything from anyone about it. WE always suspected that black male survived because I looked back after he slid off the car and he was still moving, obviously in great pain. Technically, what Dad did may have been illegal, but he saved my ass with his action that day. To this day, we never talk about the incident. BTW, I had just turned 11 years old only 3 weeks before the assassination of MLK. April 4 is NEVER a good day for me. I still get goose bumps to this day thinking about it.

            • RBH,

your story reminded me of those weeks after Dr. King’s death, we lived near a city where there riots had been going on and we were frightened.

              the Lone Ranger

      11. Tell us something we didn’t already know! They took out JFK, Bobby, Martin. And thousands of others. The only problem is they take out the good ones and leave the TURDS!
New flash to get the blacks all pissed off again over something that happened 40+ years ago.

        • I think you’re missing the point there dale, this isn’t about pissing off black people, it’s about what happens to a man who has the courage to speak out in public about the wrongs committed by our government and try to actually do something about it. This is something that should piss off all Americans, so what if it’s been 40 years, that like saying hey, Kennedy was shot over 50 years ago, so get over it already.

          • To me, it’s a warning TO FUTURE TRUTH TELLERS to stand down or be taken down. The NWO wants everyone with half a chance to have effect to know, that they will not survive long enough to change the world.

They want them to know how easily they can cease to exist. How brutally they will die if they try to stop this spiral.

It is the universal dilemma of “one”

Stand alone and you make an easy target.

            • The New World Order can be eliminated overnight, and at 500 yards. 🙂

        • Sgt D, you miss the point entirely. What do you personally do about the TRUTH?

I’m a white man and I am FURIOUS they killed Dr. King.

Because the man spoke TRUTH to POWER.

With respect, when do you do that, Sgt? I am not better than you, by the way.

I am just ANGRY that these people get AWAY with their evil. And they’ll kill you AND me when they get or want the chance– no one is ULTIMATELY 100% defensible.

But my body will have to be VERY VERY VERY dead before they pump any of their toxic vaccines or the chip into me or any of the kids. Make my day, motherfreakers, I am so HOT right now!

          (but not at you, Sgt!)

            I love James Taylor. Thanks

        • SGT.Dale

Holder and Obama sure helped in damaging over 50 years or Race Relations.

Going to be just like we all are here at this site. Posting comments together peacefully. Hahahahaha!

Again, it is a Big Pipe Dream.

          • Sling, L.R., Con.

Don’t get me wrong I think Dr. King did a great thing. What I’m getting at is why did they wait until now to post this on his death?
Tensions in the US is high enough now. I just think that someone or some group of people are just trying to make trouble.
Again I think Dr. King did a great thing with
            & for race relations!

            • Maybe because it’s a holiday, MLKJ day?

            • Dale, therein lies the flaw in your thinking. Since when is exposing the truth to the American people considered tying to ” make trouble?” That sounds like exactly what I’d expect to hear from the new police state and to say it’s disturbing is an understatement.

        • well isn’t the biggest difference between Martin, Bobby, John and the people that took them out is that Bobby, Martin and John would not have contemplated such a thing.

          • Yep. It isn’t the good men who are using murder to protect their agendas, which is why it isn’t the bad guys who get assassinated…

        • Note too Shami: the government does not want us to believe in the Truth to which Dr. King dedicated his life!

That’s why they spent decades clandestinely publicizing his human weaknesses but it has had no effect in diluting his prophetic messages, still relevant and on-point today.

          Furthermore, we all are sinners.

Lastly, though only God can truly judge, not man, I suspect that if you compared the sinfulness of the evildoers with the sinfulness of Dr. King, their evildoing would make Dr. King look like a Saint.

In fact, some of the greatest Saints HAD BEEN the greatest sinners!

          I rest my case.

          • So if we are not qualified to judge certainly we can arrange the meeting.

      12. I Don’t celebrate mlk day I’m white sorry but if it’s your day go for it. The klan killed him. The kkk is a group of sheriffs mayors and other public officials. So the gov did it. And their are plenty of whites that are poverty so that don’t hold water these days the schools in the city are nicer than my kids school they are the best funded in the state 95 percent of the students are black or Hispanic where as 80 percent of the kids in my sons school are white and most of them are eating free lunch. Maybe in the 60s there was inequality but no way nowadays. A lot of black folks play up the race card because it works for them it is a way to get a better deal without working for it in most cases. Us white folks don’t have a crying card that is unfair we need one too. We are the ones everybody blames for the problems of the world. Just about every group has a crying card the gay people women any minority group the poor the Jewish . I’ve said it before your race is everything keep it pure . The melting pot crap is what the idiots believe. I never fell for it . It’s just a way for us to all be considered the same when we are not. I don’t argue over it all like a debate this is how I think that’s all.

        • It’s not supposed to be about celebrating race, but remembering a message that another good man died while delivering to the sleeping masses.

It’s about the fact that evil does win some battles, but it remains to be seen if it will win the war.

      13. I never believed Ray acted alone. Just like JFK

        • In both cases, the actors had the full support of the CIA behind them.

      14. CO-INTELPRO had him and a few other liberty and natural rights “lefties” knocked off.

It’s no different than the statist badge lickers on here wish for the libertarians.

      15. Sgt. Dale,
If you are as old a fart as I am you will remember the claims of a 20 something young man and also the eyewitness account that the shot came from 2 places. Like you said, they killed Jack, Bobby and MLK. This was their agenda. I bought my first rifle at 12 years old at a Walgreens drug store in Lafayette, La. on Johnston St, just off of South College. I trotted right up to the register and plopped down my $25.00 for a WWII German Mauser and all the ammunition that the store had for the rifle. I earned all that money mowing yards. That was before it became illegal for 12 year olds to mow yards. I slept with that rifle for about 2 years. Then I rebarreled it to 30-06. Suddenly, 14, 15r, 16, 17 year olds were not responsible enough to buy guns. (Most folks don’t remember but you could buy rifles and pistols out of the American Rifleman, no questions asked. Now guess what? You have to have this form, that form, and then another form swearing that the other forms were valid. And that is for a person that held a beyond Top Secret Clearance.

Good luck and God Bless all,

        • CC, hit your site often, wish you would update more often. Yes, I know a website is a daily, weekly gig, I thank Mac for this place all the time.
This world is a different place now, and we must adapt, as you have said before.
          Be well….

        • CC It seem that time clouds alot of minds. I remember those days well and hear a lot of praise for John, Bobby and Martin. And you better believe that all Three would be trying to take your right to buy that rifle. Trekker Out.

        • C.C.
Yep! I’m that old. I remember when I bought my first M 1 carbine 1943 Underwood for $95.00. My first 22 Ruger Mark I for $75.00.

I remember when I could get bread for $.20. My Dad would send us to the Store on the block to get 22 bullets when I was around 7 or 8 years old. We would get 100 round for around $.50.

My wives first rifle I got for $100.00. K98 Mauser. I also ended up putting a 30-06 barrel on it.

I remember when we would take our 12Ga shot guns to school and we would just have them in our trunk so that when school got out we could go hunting with our friends.

Thank You for the Blessing. I can use all I can get.
May god watch over You and Yours!

      16. A yes, it’s January, so it must be time for a renewed frenzy of religious adoration dedicated to Marxist Amerika’s answer to Nelson Mandela, Rosa Luxemburg and Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. His “conservative” White worshipers are especially humorous to behold:

“The Case for Skepticism About Martin Luther King”

‘Every January, the media go into a kind of almost spastic frenzy of adulation for the so-called “Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr.” King has even had a national holiday declared in his honor, an honor accorded to no other American, not Washington, not Jefferson, not Lincoln. (Washington and Lincoln no longer have holidays — they share the generic-sounding “President’s Day.”) A federal judge has sealed the FBI files on King until the year 2027. What are they hiding? Let’s take a look at this modern-day plastic god…

According to King’s biographer and sympathizer David J. Garrow, “King privately described himself as a Marxist.” In his 1981 book, The FBI and Martin Luther King, Jr., Garrow quotes King as saying in SCLC staff meetings, “…we have moved into a new era, which must be an era of revolution…. The whole structure of American life must be changed…. We are engaged in the class struggle…”

Jewish Communist Stanley Levison can best be described as King’s behind-the-scenes “handler.” Levison, who had for years been in charge of the secret funneling of Soviet funds to the Communist Party USA, was King’s mentor and was actually the brains behind many of King’s more successful ploys. It was Levison who edited King’s book, “Stride Toward Freedom.” It was Levison who arranged for a publisher. Levison even prepared King’s income tax returns! It was Levison who really controlled the fund-raising and agitation activities of the SCLC. Levison wrote many of King’s speeches. King described Levison as one of his “closest friends.”’

      17. I often wonder if whether MLK had lived to a ripe old age, he would have helped the US transcend the race war that modern leaders seem absolutely determined to incite.

Of course we’ll never know, because we were never given the chance. Neither has another leader of his ilk been allowed to rise to such prominence since. That in itself is telling as occasionally, just occasionally we still produce good men & women.

        • One has to ask if the addition of conventional US troops to Vietnam would have been avoided if JFK had lived and if the cold war would have ended too.

          • Kevin, JFK had signed an Executive Order ordering all of our then 110 Military Advisors out of Vietnam, which was one of several reasons they killed him.

Dr. King’s 4/4/67 Speech on the evil of the Vietnam War was so powerful as was its reverberations that they took him out too. But God sees all.

            – the Lone Ranger

            • the Loan Ranger

By November 1963, there were 16,000 American military personnel in South Vietnam, up from Eisenhower’s 900 advisors.

JFK signed an Executive order before his assassination to START lowering rather than increasing the US commitment. I’m not sure of the exact number but if memory serves me it was about 1000. It was not implemented and it was reversed by LBJ post November 22nd 1963.

Its reasonably believed by historians, that after Diem was assassinated in the summer of 1963, JFK seen the cause as lost, as no stable government had yet been installed in SVN and it appeared that no future government would obtain true popular support.

              • Oops sorry …….Lone not Loan……..

      18. This stuff, I already read about somewhere, months ago. It made as much sense to me as the JFK assassination cover up, by the govt/CIA.

      19. They keep stiring up race hate by giving groups of people extra rights and its like pulling on a bows string ready to let go.

Sooner or later race wars will be created to cover for all the bent jusges and bankers leaving town.

Most of our leaders need to be charged with treason and hung but we have too many cowards and brown coats to make that happen just now.

      20. Exactly – the race wars are intended to divert the attention of the masses away from the criminal cabal, so they can slip away undetected!

      21. This article would infer that everyone close to Dr King is now corrupt as this information should have been disseminated repeatedly. They have a bully pulpit to do so.

      22. “The liberties of a people never were, nor ever will be, secure, when the transactions of their rulers may be concealed from them.”
        Patrick Henry

      23. “In a world of universal deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”
        George Orwell

        Thanks Mac!

      24. “There exists in this country a plot to enslave every man woman and child. Before I leave this high and noble office, I intend to expose this plot.”
President John F. Kennedy – 7 days before he was assassinated.

        • You have a link to that?

      25. Despite all the platitudes expressed here by those who have bought into the system’s “branding” and propaganda, the White and black races cannot stand one other, nor are their relative levels of civilization and intellectual development even remotely compatible. The preexistence of this vast natural gulf can be inferred by comparing the technological and cultural achievements of sub-Saharan Africa on the one hand, and either Europe or Asia interchangeably on the other, as they existed in toto prior to 1418 – the date of the first Portuguese (and therefore European) explorations of “black” Africa.

It is not the “race war” between Europeans in Amerika and the negro that is an artificial result of manipulation by third parties, but rather the fact that we should ever have been tied together as so-called equals in the same polity at all. I blame White (and non-White, i.e. hither-Asiatic or Jewish) capitalists for this more than I blame the negroes.

As Thomas Jefferson said, separation of Whites from negroes is the only natural and logical course for social and political health, an alternative that was consciously circumvented by the Zio-Amerikan system’s rulers with their tyrannical program of gunpoint racial mixing (for US, but not THEMSELVES) that began in the 1950’s.

Since then, hundreds of once productive Amerikan cities great and small have been laid waste, and hundreds of thousands of Whites have been murdered, crippled or raped in the grass-roots-level wave of black terror that is deliberately mis-categorized as “crime” by our rulers; all because the advice of the sage of Monticello was deliberately defied by Amerika’s internal enemy in furtherance of its own parasitic ends.

As an aside, how many of you know that the hideous monument to the sainted “Dr.” Michael King that disfigures the National Mall in D.C. appears to have been modeled on the statue of V.I. Lenin that stood on Leninplatz (ex-Landsberger Platz) in the former East Berlin?

Despite the low-striving opinions expressed here by those who have no problem mingling their blood with that of, say, orangutans, as long as the orangutans promise they will make nice, the “prince of peace” Michael King sparked VIOLENCE among his primitive followers wherever he went. I know, because I lived through it, and (much more unforgivably) my loved ones suffered badly from it.

If the pipe-dreams of “brotherhood” voiced here ever come to fruition, as the programming of many leads them to hope, the best outcome that can be hoped for is not a replication of the high civilizations of Greece, Rome, 19th century industrial Europe or the Amerika of Apollo 11, but only a jungle resembling the reeking mulatto favelas of Rio de Janiero, where the attainment of mediocrity will itself be viewed as nirvana.

      26. Most white people with an IQ above 80 are now experiencing negro-fatigue. I am tired of hearing about MLK (or Al or Jesse) and all of the poor put-upon black ‘folk’. I do not want to hear about or watch black people anymore. I am sick of them. Who cares who killed King. I don’t. It is just a gimmick to keep his dead azz in the news. I have no guilt over anything.
