China Has Finally Ended the One-Child Policy

For over 30 years the Chinese government has tried to stem the tide of overpopulation by preventing families from having more than one child. From one perspective, it could be argued that this policy was a success; albeit, it was the kind of success that could only be achieved through horrifying draconian measures, but a success nonetheless. It’s estimated that the policy prevented at least 400 million people from being born (conservatively) between 1980 and 2011.
However, using bureaucracy and brutality to regulate a human right as fundamental as having a child, has had severe consequences for China’s society (gee, who would have thought?). That’s why the Communist party announced on Thursday that they are officially ending the one-child policy, after senior party officials discussed the matter during a 4 day meeting in Beijing.
They didn’t have an altruistic reason for doing this though. In fact, their population control apparatus is still in place. The only difference is that now, parents will be able to have two children instead of just one, which was previously only allowed under special circumstances and in some rural provinces. The family planning regulations, the fines, and the forced abortions will all continue. There will just be a little less of it.
The real reason why they are doing this is purely economic. The productive output of a nation is directly related to the number of working age people in the economy, which is rapidly falling. China’s population growth has been declining faster than the government had anticipated, and percentage wise, their population growth is slower than it is in the United States. Now that their economic growth is sputtering, the government is starting to realize that they don’t have much of a future without more children. That basic fact of life may sound obvious to you or me, but then again, we’re not communist bureaucrats.
Their policies have also created a very lopsided population. As China’s life expectancy grows and fewer children are born, they’ll soon have more dependents than the working age population can support, both physically and financially. This is a serious problem that pretty much every developed nation on the planet is grappling with, but China made their own situation ten times worse by actively suppressing population growth.
And since their culture favors boys and frequently aborts girls, there will be even fewer children in the future, even if their population control measures are completely eliminated. Essentially, their population is going to look like an hourglass in the next few decades. The ratio between the number of dependents in their society (both young and old) and the number of workers, is going to be vast. It will probably be worse than it has been in any country, at any time in human history.
Historically speaking though, there is a precedent for this situation. When a population has significantly more men than woman, it doesn’t just hurt the economy. It can shred the fabric of society.

In both China and India, these historic patterns are re-emerging. Outbreaks of crime, violence, and vice, traceable to unassimilated young men, are erupting in regions where sex ratios are most skewed.
“Social turmoil is a constant threat in societies with surplus males. It takes nothing more than an economic contraction to ignite the kindling. Historically in China and India, when famine struck regions with surplus males, the young men organized and rebelled, throwing off their overlords and taking their lands. In China, such uprisings led to the establishment and overthrow of the Ming dynasty. The maverick scholar Gunnar Heinsohn claims that in the Middle East today, a ‘male youth bulge’ fuels Islamic militance.”
And like I said, this problem isn’t going to go away just because they loosened their laws. Their population now has a 35 year bottleneck, and there is no way around that. And while countries with similar population growth problems like Russia, Japan, and Germany, desperately want their citizens to reproduce, China is still trying to control their population.
They simply refuse to completely abolish these horrendous laws that are not only unethical and cruel, but threaten to destroy their society. I think we can safely say that China isn’t going to be some global hegemon in the near future. Right now they’re a strong contender to replace the United States as the world’s only superpower, but it isn’t going to last. Their population control policies alone, are enough to turn them into a basket case nation within the next few decades, and there is no going back.
Let this be a lesson to the statists of the world. This is what happens when you submit to the control freaks. They toy with the natural order, and treat living beings like tokens in a game until it bites them in the ass, and everyone suffers.
It’s probably much harder for a government to control people that have no children.
Somebody has to pay for the bridges and roads to nowhere, ghost cities and factories, juiced stock market, $30-35 trillion in confetti money. Now let’s see who are they going to get the money from? Babies and lots of new recruits into the Chinese Ponzi scheme.
The Chinese are just the Eastern version of the NY/London cabal.
I’m sure the Chi-Coms will make sure all these rogues will be used to fight us instead of them.
The CCP thought they would have had a war to dispose of some of these young guys before now. The oldsters are easily taken care of. No long term care facilities necessary. Even the ugliest Chinese chick can demand pretty much whatever she wants from a prospective husband. Note that even the Chinese don’t want the fat, arrogant, entitled American women that seem to be everywhere in USA.

Exactly–but the other side of this same coin eppe is that maybe a major military event may actually be the answer to their gender imbalance problems.
A few million invading their Indonesian neighbors, a few million to assist Russia in the Mideast and 100 million more to invade somewhere crazy like LA?…
I’m sure that the Chinese control group fully understands the potential of all of that extra testosterone from these angry and directionless young men…..my educated guess is that a coalition of these guys numbering somewhere north of 200 million may make a move west towards the Euphrates.

Exactly like you see it eppe, the Word, has everything we need to know and use as our guideline for living….and dying.
What is even more amazing is how a book written, about a divine vision and visitation by an Angelic being, Gabriel the Arch Angel, (and probably Michael the most high Warrior of the Arch Angels, also), about 635 years earlier by Daniel, and prior to John penning the book of Revelation (about 95 AD); to be an exact overlay of it, and what is happening now.
The increase in Knowledge and understanding of these predicted events is just another reason to believe in things not seen.
It is also another reason to believe that man will not bring about changes for good as nation, at this point. We past that point many years ago, and when the so-called three fourths of Americans that call themselves bible believers, did “not”, make a stand against homosexual marriage in June 2015, the final nail was driven in America’s coffin.
The dividing lines have been drawn. It does not matter what China or Russia or Iran does from this point onward. Their destiny is set in stone. The destiny of what used to be a great nation is also set in stone. The only escape is on a personal, spiritual level. “come out of her my people, be not a partaker of her evil deeds”.
That warning goes to the heart and soul of every man, woman, and child. If the child is not old or mature enough to understand and make such a decision on their own, the parents are responsible for the child’s life. A child can reach the age of accountability at an early age, but in this day and time, it is a scary situation for parents, especially those that don’t accept that responsibility.
Most play to the children, and allow them to play along with the educational system and it’s political correctness, liberal views. The educational system will not be held accountable, but someone will. If anyone “plays” along with the system put in place by Satan, then they have some tough decisions to make about the future and the evil worldly deceptions that draw people in.
China will reap what it sows, as will all heathen nations. That is not saying that all it’s people are heathen. They are not and even some are christian. Most are just deceived by their leaders and are living as lost sheeple. Their chance will come, but it won’t be in this life. During the Millennium there will be many that will have their first chance at learning truth, and finding salvation. God loves His Asian children as well as He does His Native American ones. He is fair.
Everyone has a chance to hear truth, believe, and follow, at some point.

The influx of all immigrants are taking it’s toll already.
The increase in monthly payments needed by Social Security retirees and those on disability and SSI is being gobbled up by the immigrant users, legal and illegal. The cuts in medicare is because of them also.
The cuts should be made at the top levels of gov, not the bottom levels, that drastically affect the poor and elderly that paid into that system all their working lives. Politicians rob the very people that built up the system and put them in office.
Folks are faced with more and more increased costs, by obolacare and the sickness that increases daily by the shit that is ingested into their already weakened bodies through chemtrail spraying and the poisoned foods they eat. Not to mention that the aluminum industry has squelched the education of the dangers of aluminum build up in the brains of folks causing more and more cases of Alzheimer’s, and Dementia.
But, you see more and more people cooking with aluminum pots and pans, especially in restaurants that cook hurriedly while chipping away at aluminum cookware, with heavy metal utensils. Oh yea, it tastes good, and it is expensive, but; is it worth the costs of continually adding those minute aluminum particles into the body?
The correlation has been proven, but the system doesn’t want you to know it. What about aluminum beverage containers? What about cooking on the grill over aluminum?
A little bit here and a little bit there, over a period of fifty years, and then one day you’re sitting slumped over in a chair drooling and mumbling shit nobody can translate…..in a convalescent care facility. Millions are spending their golden years that way. Those golden years are only golden for them by the daily golden showers they give themselves as it runs down their legs and asses. Sad, sad, sad.

The simple fact is that all nations economies are based on a Ponzi Scheme; they either expand or disappear. China has 1.2 billion people, maybe a tad more. Expansion requires getting more of everything. In the end it will involve robbery which at the international level is called war. You have, I want, I take.

Ame, I took my wife to see that movie when it first came out. We left the theatre totally shaken up. That was a very controversial movie at the time in 1976. Nowadays, nobody would even think twice about it.
The only movie that ever scared me is The Exorcist.
I was too young when it came out in the theater, but recall watching it for the first time on tv when I was in high school. That carousel stuck in my mind all these years. Seems a bit prophetic, imo.
