Every summer, Hollywood seems to release another batch of disaster and hero films full of action and end of the world scenarios.
But this film hits much closer to home.
It’s the scenario that could happen here, but Hollywood won’t dare to get behind. Nevertheless, it is coming to (select) theaters.
Director Mike Norris, son of Chuck Norris, is bringing a drama to screen ripped from the headlines of America’s real-life looming catastrophes. In AmeriGEDDON, an EMP attack brings down the grid and initiates the collapse scenario that preppers are all too familiar with: civil unrest and chaos as a result of the loss of food and services, followed by a heavy-handed attempt to impose martial law and confiscate the firearms of American patriots.
What follows is basically the beginning of the next civil war against the agents of world government and global control.

AMERIGEDDON, coming to theaters nationwide May 13, 2016, has been described as “the movie the establishment doesn’t want you to see.” Showing what happens when a not-so-future U.S. government conspires with the United Nations to stage an attack on the energy grid, AMERIGEDDON depicts a country ruled by martial law in which citizens are stripped of their constitutional rights and their guns. A group of patriots fight back and rescue the country from slipping into irreversible chaos.
AMERIGEDDON’s release in an election year is not coincidental. “The fact that a recent poll showed a majority of Americans are enraged with the federal government points to a frenzy of unrest with the dictatorial way in which our country has been run,” said Norris. “My family has long been involved in protecting the rights of Americans. We are concerned about the future and and see this film as a call to action. We urge people to join us in theaters and show Hollywood and politicians that true patriots will fight for their rights and want to see their values represented on-screen.”
A collaboration between Norris and entrepreneur and writer Gary Heavin, AMERIGEDDON seizes on fact-based threats and asks the ultimate question, “What happens when government turns on the people it’s supposed to protect?”
Executive Producer Gary Heavin believes the film’s message warning is timely. “We made a movie that is fun to watch but it is based in reality. In AMERIGEDDON, survivors of an EMP attack on the United States must live in a state of martial law led by the United Nations. American soldiers must decide whom they serve, second amendment rights are curtailed and food, water and survival become our primary concerns—unfortunately, these are all likely scenarios resulting from a very real threat,” said Heavin. “I believe if we can entertain while we inform, more people will wake up; and if we hope to restore our freedom we must share the truth with as many people as possible.”
Co-written by Norris and Heavin, the film features Marshall Teague (THE ROCK), Annalynn McCord (“Dallas”, “90210”), Dina Meyer (“Starship Troopers”), Spencer Neville (“Days of Our Lives”), Mike Norris (“Walker, Texas Ranger”), Diane Ladd (JOY) and India Eisley (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”).

Some say that if you have the top stereo system in your car it is shielded from the CPU and thus shielded from EMP. The CPU is shielded to not make static on the radio. I don’t know how true this is. But anyway having the only running car in town is suicidal?

The vast majority of military vehicles are hardened against an EMP effect. Always remember that troop carriers have to stop to allow the troops to dismount. Also, I do not support the premise that a significant majority of troops will obey an order to disarm the civilian population. In any event, remember that Americans are exceptional people. We will come together, plant crops, and survive. I just would not want to live in the big cities though. As for the UN, blue helmets make target rich environments.

I’m telling ya, You all better have at least 200 sand bags to fortify your key position on your property. Also put a dozen sandbags in your BOB Bug Out Bag. You can fill them for a good secure nights sleep, and empty them and move on to another area and refill them again. sand bags are the best cheapest method to stop bullets for a safe area. 1-Yard of sand will fill about 45 to 50 sandbags. Plan accordingly. It takes time to fill and place these in position. Each sandbag weighs about 50 Lbs. I built a sandbag filler out of a wooden pallet and a traffic cone upside down in the box, as the fill spout. Added a hook and clamp to secure the bag while filling. It works great.
Start hardening your positions now and get out all your weapons, for inspection and cleaning, and order all the gun parts ASAP.
Once this Sh!t starts, plan on nothing being available. What you got, when it all goes down, will be your only tools. Unless you take them off the dead blue helmets.

Yep old tires stacked and filled are also good, until the County gets a complaint of car trash or waste piling up, and makes you dispose of them at $2 per tire. Maybe you can camo them so it is not obvious.

Excellent thought on sandbag fortification.
I read up on ballistics tests on different calibers, depth of sand/soil barrier, etc., a while back.
It has been a while but I got the notion to use my old garden soil bags for home defense.
The soil that comes in them is light weight peat based with plenty perlite (promix/ocean forest). That soil is great in gardens, and only needs pH’d up (lime) for certain plants.
The bags the soil comes in are very thick (6mil?ish), and last for years. I have dozens of them.
I am into digging holes with my shovel. I like to move dirt around property for grading, extra support for structures, etc. with a wheelbarrow. It is a good work out.
I got it in my head to fill these with the clay dirt I run into after 8 inches of topsoil. I dig it out, and spread it around to dry, then fill those bags with it. About 1 cubic foot worth. They weigh about 40 pounds. Only 4 inches thick, but 20 inches wide.
I have “sandbag” defense positions right out in plain sight. Only they don’t look like it. I made pretty, portable wooden “planters” that they fit right into, and stack them to 3 feet tall. I use 4×4 posts for corners, and apply 1/4″ marine grade plywood as a fascia. They sit behind a 3.5 foot tall Chinese Elm shrub line that encircles the front of the house. From the street it looks like a hedge with a fancy planter displaying pretty annuals in season, and miniature spruces in winter. I root prune plants and rotate them in 2 gallon plastic containers. I use forsythia the same way in 5 gallon containers, to disguise punji pits and cache sites.
I like the idea of adding real sandbags to my BOB/assault bag. I carry black thick 50 gallon contractor bags already, but will compared weights and volume to decide which to go with. I have U Dig It mini shovels in all bags.
I do have some sand bags deployed INSIDE my home on the cement block walled first floor that add realism to my industrial-chabby-chic- military style loft decor.
I wonder how books would do as a barrier on a wall? I have a chit ton of text books from the 60’s and 70’s. Thick books.
I don’t have ANYONE over to my home so it does not matter what it looks like (like an army surplus store with a stainless steel kitchen), but book barriers might work for someone whose spouse is into Better Homes & Gardens look.
My wife is fine with my eclectic tastes in decorating and defense.
I clean and inspect one firearm every day, plus my daily carry. I rotate rounds in mags 4 times a year.
I have ten weapons I cherish, and a bunch others that I will barter with if SHTF gets in the way of my plan to sell them before relocating to “not so friendly to the 2nd amendment” Hawai’i by next November. They will be the VERY last things I sell before closing on house sale.
I am thinking a nice 30-30 with 100 rounds of ammo might be desired by someone if AlPhabEt agencies start going door to door for guns like in the movie trailer.
If I am squared away on guns and grub, what would I consider trading it for?

An EMP and grid down is not only possible, but quite likely. Either initiated by foreign entities, or as I mostly fear, initiated by our own govt. This is the “event” that the govt, in cahoots with the UN and the NWO, will use for total control and evisceration of our Constitutional rights….overnight. I used to work with an electrical contractor at a power station down south. They did work all around the country for the government at military installations. And the only thing they were doing at those installations was hardening them for EMP.
Makes you think if they know something we don’t.
So, I have a stand alone generator with ten days of fuel. More if I suck gas out of the cars. If I really ration I could probably last two months (two hours on six hours off. Make ice to preserve food through the night, minimize energy use. About the time I’m out of fuel the freezer will be empty.)
So my question is, what are the best things I could do to insure my generator as a stand alone device not connected to anything survives an EMP.
Should a shorted plug be plugged into the outputs? Should I store the generator in a steel sheet metal box? Any other tricks besides having a spare set of secondary diodes, it’s a brushless generator?
Plan Twice. Once your power goes out, you better have a big propane and wood meat smoker ready to be fired up, to make jerky or something out of all that Freezer contents. Or with in a few days it will be spoiled.
Get a back up solar system.. with a minimum of 1000 Watts of panels and battery bank for electricity.

A pressure canner a cool tool because it can turn a lot of tough game meat into tender morsels and it can keep a year or two without a fridge.
Really your generator and motor itself will be fine. If there are any control boards/circuits, those will need to be in a faraday cage (or just put the whole thing in there). The EMP will induce a very high voltage in anything, even if its grounded, and will overwhelm the very low voltage components in solid state control circuits.
We have twin-propane fired gen-sets (Generac was the only brand I could get my hands on that ‘fit the bill’). Both are in lead-shielded (non-grounded) “boxes” I welded/tacked way back when. Additionally, both are wrapped in many layers of mylar (6mil stuff yet the ’emergency blanket’ thin stuff is just as effective, or so they say it is). Aircraft are hit by lightning (which is tiny EMP) and being ungrounded (to REAL earth) suffer no real ill effects, usually. Based on that I’m not ground a damn thing either. I’m praying for 100% reflectivity long before it reaches anything ‘fry-a-ble’. lol…
Last winter we put several sheets of the stuff over the windows and some walls and were ‘floored’ by the energy savings (and increase in indoor temperature as compared to the winters before WITHOUT the mylar). Needless to say, mylar is now glued to ALL studwalls (exterior ones AND the ones surrounding the electronics “room”) and “she” got her new interior. WOW! The sun isn’t roasting us out …not yet anyway, so the A/C is really just for controlling the relative humidity inside the house, (which in southern climes is usually higher than one would like).
I don’t get enough sun to bother with for solar anything, yet there is a year-round creek turning three 12-v alternators with just 3-feet of “head” – (in between flash floods in these mountains). 🙂 We also use “water-hammers” to pump water uphill (free!) during ‘gardening season’. Amazing gadgets and easy to construct. To offset solar, I’ve been playing with manganese batteries for years with little improvements.

I am of a mind that the industry got away from positive ground vehicles purposely to prevent any of us from discovering MORE secrets about positive-ground electronics (which are indeed fascinating, and despite what is advertised, usually more ‘efficient’ (as if it makes that much of a diff in electronics …negligible for what I am speaking of). After all, Nikola Tesla’s entire laboratory was WIRED with a “positive-grounding” system, and he drew energy directly from the earth (with pics to prove it). Germany now has what is left of his writings, last I heard).
I would LOVE to adapt a TESLA COIL FROM HELL to use as self-defense of the entire property …but it would be so darned easy to destroy it, so the idea is quickly rendered worthless…

I have family in law enforcement…they are prepping. They’ve also say there are far more on the law enforcement side that will not support a gov takeover should it come to that, than the gov realizes or wants to accept. Big cities will be a challenge, but most rural municipalities will not fall to Nazism so favored by the left. This tells me that many in the military will not fail to defend the Constitution either. ~WWTI… I could make a lot of money paper trading Silver by following and trading their manipulation. At 11:15 I would put in a heavy short trade then sell after the swing. I could make $800 a day doing this. Probably what they are doing as well. Then buy back in for a long position for the next rise, grab that, then short it again. And place safety sell stops in, to secure the profits, and to avoid any major losses.

Well, you’ll need to separate the lead plates from the non-lead plates (as they alternate plate-to-plate), but, great idea as that’s where I’ve gotten about 400lbs of my lead (and after melting and pouring off the antimony I’ve got a shitload of it too, but I don’t know that it has any great usages …not that I’ve checked it out yet.
Lead just isn’t going to go down as everyone is well aware, in the metals biz, that people are scratching for lead (and even in the smallest of towns they’ll “rape” you per five-gallon bucket of wheel weights. Batteries are easier to talk them out of as each one costs them a couple bucks to dispense of (to me, they are worth five bucks (tops) each).
Say Lone Wolf ….add some ‘tannerite’ to that sucker (three cups INSIDE A WATERPROOF BAG), snap the top back on and then run alot of wire ….short it out or overload her and BLAM! It will lift a vehicle three feet up! Great fun! 🙂

As former military there are some in our current military that would enforce a stupid rule of picking up firearms especially after the president suspended the constitution.

Plus, there are 100 million gun owners in this country. If just 10% of them decided to stand and fight, it would be a force that is 21x as large as the US military. Now, there would also be state and local law enforcement as well as the national Guard that could be called out in such an instance. Using a little Fermi estimation, let’s figure that they comprise 200,000 additional people that could be brought to bear for martial law. So, that is a maximum force of 600,000. Now how many of those people would stand and fight against their fellow countrymen? Let’s hazard a guess at a 40% desertion rate. That leaves the government with 360,000 troops. Now, of that 40% of deserters, how many will join the rebellion and be able to bring equipment with them? Let’s say that 60% of them join the fight on the other side. That gives us 148,000 fighters with knowledge of government tactics and maybe 20% of them will also be able to bring along something more substantial than a rifle and ammo (tank, MRAP, etc.). So, it would be interesting to see what would happen. The government would have a significant technological advantage going in, but a huge manpower disadvantage that would be difficult to overcome. The US military does not do well against irregular forces as has been seen in places like Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. and facing such overwhelming force would likely overcome much of the technological advantage. Plus, prior guerilla wars the US was involved in were in relatively small countries. How much more difficult will it be for them to control the fourth largest country on Earth (by land mass)? It’s an interesting thing to war game, but I for one hope it never comes to fruition.

It make work in Boston house to house gun confiscation, but not here in the rural areas where I live. They wouldn’t make it out of the country alive. Good luck relocating. I prefer to relocate myself. I don’t need the government’so help. Stay calm. Avoid crowds. Water is the most important consideration. The producers of the movie don’t have any choice in where the movie shows. Most theaters are contracted to get movies from certain sources. They can’t put just anything on their screen.
It would be nice if there were totally independent movie theaters all over the country.
Did you know that almost all theaters in the country are grossly overcharging for tickets? The theater in our town charges only $4 per ticket, no matter what movie is playing or what time it’s shown. So any theater that charges more is making extra money on you. The theater is already making a huge profit on the popcorn, soft drinks, and candy.
