WW3? Ayatollah Vows “Severe Retaliation” Against “Criminals” Responsible For Killing Iranian General

Do you LOVE America?

Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a warning to the United States establishment.  In a statement, he said that the “criminals” responsible for the death of a top Iranian general will face “severe revenge.”

The Ayatollah’s statement was published in English by an unverified but widely-cited Twitter account, and though Zero Hedge hasn’t personally verified whether the statement is genuine, it is being reported as legitimate by many media outlets around the world, including the Washington Post, which cited part of it. –ZeroHedge

The Ayatollah also said that his work fighting on behalf of the Iranian people “won’t be stopped by his martyrdom,” according to a statement published on Twitter. For those unaware,  Iran’s most revered and respected military commander, General Qasem Suleimani, the leader of the IRGC’s Quds Force, was killed by the United States Military-industrial complex in an attack late Thursday.

Suleimani was a powerful regional player responsible for overseeing Iran’s proxy war in Yemen, as well as Iran-backed forces in Iraq, Lebanon and elsewhere, according to a report by ZeroHedge. And his death will not likely go unpunished if the ruling class in Iran can be believed.

    The statement reads as follows:

    Dear Iranian Nation!

Years of sincere, brave efforts fighting against the devils& villainous in the world & yrs of wishing for martyrdom on the path of God finally took the dear Commander of Islam, Soleimani, to this lofty status. His blood was shed by the most barbaric of men.

We congratulate Imam Mahdi (‘a.j.) & Soleimani’s pure soul& condole the Iranian nation on this great martyrdom. He was an eminent example of a person trained in Islam. He spent all his life in struggling for God. Martyrdom was the reward for his tireless efforts over the years.

His efforts & path won’t be stopped by his martyrdom, by God’s Power, rather a #SevereRevenge awaits the criminals who have stained their hands with his & the other martyrs’ blood last night. Martyr Soleimani is an Intl figure of Resistance & all such people will seek revenge.

All friends – & enemies – know that Jihad of Resistance will continue with more motivation & definite victory awaits the fighters on this blessed path. The loss of our dear General is bitter. The continuing fight & ultimate victory will be more bitter for the murderers & criminals.

The Iranian nation will honor the memory of the noble Major-General Soleimani & the martyrs with him – particularly the great Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis – & I declare 3 days of mourning across the nation. I condole & congratulate his family.

In another tweet published shortly after the news broke of the deadly U.S. attack, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif warned that “the US bears responsibility for all consequences of its rogue adventurism.”  He also denounced the strike as an “act of international terrorism” by the U.S., and added that the Quds force is “THE most effective force fighting Daesh (ISIS), Al Nusrah, Al Qaeda et al.”

Meanwhile, Iranian defense minister Amir Hatami said that the attack by the “arrogant U.S.” would be met with a “crushing” response, according to the Washington Post. And President Donald Trump cited the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, (which was recently the target of a Benghazi-style attack earlier this week) as justification for Suleimani’s killing.  All American citizens have been warned to leave Iraq immediately.

During these militarily tense times, it can be important to reflect on the fact that the U.S. government aka., the ruling class, and Suleimani weren’t always enemies, as Barbara Slavin, the director of the Future of Iran Initiative points out.

This could be the justification for a third world war that governments have been looking for. But, to be fair,  the general’s killing wasn’t the first example of President Trump ordering a supposedly “game-changing” military strike that could instigate WWIII. Back in 2017, “experts” delivered a similar warning after Trump sent 50+ Tomahawk Missiles raining down on Syrian military fixtures.

      1. I am pretty certain that that letter is inauthentic based on the lingustics. I could be wrong, but it doesnn’t sound like Iranian lingustic structure or usage to me. It sounds Chinese, or like someone mocking what they think that the lingustics would sound like to me.

      2. Trump has lost more credibility than he knows with the extremely sick, sadistic, illegal, and unjustifiable torture of Assange and Manning, as well as other whistle blowers who Trump should be thanking and awarding medals of honors to and building monuments on the national mall to instead of imprisoning and torturing them, and for the pathological lying and beating the drums of war against Iran, Syria, Yemen, Venezuela, Bolivia and for defending and elevating the evil terrorist regimes of the nations of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.

There simply are not enough Israelis with dual U.S. citizenship to re-elect Trump. The Israelis are obviously the only people that Trump is serving.

      3. The General was in Iraq for the funeral of the Iraqi soldiers killed by US rockets a few days ago. He was in a vehicle that had just left the Baghdad airport along with the head of Iraqi security and their personal staff when they were assassinated by drone attack. All were killed. “Collateral damage” even though most were Iraqis.
He was not hiding. He was not in any military convoy. He was in the country to pay respect at a funeral.

What a cowardly act by a man who dodged the draft. Is this what Trump ran on? I guess when he says Make America Great Again he means like it was under Shrub.

        Blasphemy…pure cowardly blasphemy.

But, you say, what about all those IEDs that killed our boys back then? Wasn’t that the Iranians behind that? General Joseph Dunford says that while they suspected the Iranians, they could never come up with the forensic evidence to prove it.

This guy was instrumental in defeating ISIS. Then again, that probably sealed his fate, since ISIS worked for the US and Israel.

Trump has become everything he ran against…a willing participant in the swamp.

      4. May he rest in pieces.

      5. I am very interested to see how well the Iranians live without their electric grid. You know, the thing they have threatened us with ad nauseum.

      6. I do not believe the authenticity of that tweet based on the lingustics. I could be wrong, but it seems that it was Chinese, North Korean, or someone just tweeting what they figured that the Aytollah would say in a tweet. It doesn’t seeem authentic to me.

People in Iraq seem as though they are mad as hell and not going to take it anymore! This is an intense and gargatuan demonstration! Can you blame them?!

“If you (Trump) were logical, which you are not, you would see that your crimes in Iraq and other countries have made nations hate you.” – Ayatollah Khamenei of Iran on 1/1/2020 responding to Trump blaming Iran for Iraqis attacking the U.S. embassy in Baghdad.

After 20 years of perpetual war dumbed-down Americans still don’t get it.

While I would generally encourage people to be grateful for little things, no matter how trivial, there is some tyrant, in some ceremonial garb, who would love to take that from you, no matter how trivial. I am not here to promote my favorite tyrant or favorite flavor of siege mentality.

I am a Cornucopian, when I’m in a good mood… countless thousands of exploitable energy sources…

But, if we were too short on oil to avoid supporting terrorists, why was one single drop exported to anyone, ever. I am not talking about net importer or exporter status in net terms, but one single drop; it’s so black and white.

Before their fake revolution, before their Western-backed democracy, and Western oil profits, I saw a colorized video of a clean, Berber-patterned keffiyeh and camel and jockey, happily cavorting on sand dunes. Didn’t feel threatening, in the least.

      11. Killing the Iranian general does nothing for the average Amer. Our Christian population is still being inundated by mass migration from the 3rd world destroying our culture, the public education system is deteriorating to the point where illiterates are graduating high school, the health care system in the US is by far the most expensive in the world but with tens of millions of Amer. on psychiatric drugs and opioids, we still have massive 100s of billions of dollars in trade deficits, moral degenerates are glorified and destroying social morality but protected by law, gov’t debt is increasing at more than 3 billion dollars every single day, there is hyper wealth concentration but the new average job pays below subsistence levels, officialdom and colleges are pushing debilitating irrational political correctness rendering social unity impossible, wars and foreign intervention continue unabated against the popular will, big-tech is imposing censorship on the people with the blessing of officialdom, large sections of public infrastructure are in a state of collapse, and there is a never ending battle against citizens to diminish our rights and freedoms. Little to nothing is being done about these things that really affect citizens. But they sure are willing to go anywhere in the world and intervene on Israel’s behalf no matter what the cost.

      12. Some of you people remind me of the folks my grandfather told me about in the 30’s. Hitler was on the move and made his intentions very clear to everyone. We dithered, appeased waffled , appealed to his”humanity” and the results in the 40’s are now our history. It is happening again, Americans in there safe little lives are just incapable of seeing the world as it is. Our enemies are on the move, they have made their intentions clear. We scream at the heavens if our leaders make any attempt to confront the growing evil. We blame ourselves, our leaders, the Jews, ANYONE to avoid the reality of what’s happening. The truth is the America is going to have to do the “hard thing” again to protect ourselves either now at a huge cost or later, at enormous cost. AsWinston Churchill said I trust Americans to do the right thing, when they have exhausted all other options. For my grandchildren’s sake I hope that is still true, I fear it is not.
