Because the Congress doesn’t have the authority to prosecute anybody and the Judicial branch that does have the authority is the branch that has been corrupted. That’s why.

Stuart – you’re right. And even if Congress had that authority, it’d never happen. This is a D & P show all right. Lots of good imagery to make everyone “look squirrel – over there!!!” while the mechanism of the swamp grinds on to the pre-ordained purpose(s) it has. In short, we’re all being played. It’s not what we are seeing or hearing that is the problem, it’s all those things we are not and never will until it’s all over.

If past outcome to these investigations are any indication of what will happen to these depots then I predict nothing will come of it. Listen to Rosenstein answers to question by committee. If the Inspector General finds any wrong doing then he will determine proper course of action. Does that sound like someone that wants to kick some ass?
Government motto: The end justifies the means. A democracy never was, never will be. Treason is so today. Incremental erosion of freedom for our own good so they think. They lay awake at night scheming to rip you off harder.
Congress critters can ask all the questions they want, as many times as they want. The fact that all this has gotten this far out of hand shows you the situation is veloren (doomed). Fasten your seat belts, it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
The Government works on the motto of “Get her done”. Don’t blame the people but rather the process. It has been so burdened with regulations. While running the Government like a business is easier said than done, don’t run businesses like the government. That’s what the Democrats are doing. They regulate everything to death.
Again, all this is theater. Sure, there are some good guys in this show who are really patriots and want to see the right thing happen, but in the end nothing will actually change much. All this is just business as usual up there. The deep state has their agendas, any and all means are justified to achieve their goals so don’t look for much reform. Maybe a little reform around the edges to give the appearance of reform but nothing to impede them.
If the deep state is pulling out the stops just to hide or justify something simple like conflict of interest then you cannot imagine the magnitude of other truly monstrous crimes they are hiding. Their crimes must truly be both vast and grossly abhorrent, against the people and the nation; little more than a criminal empire. Given numerous statements made by some officials who are “investigating” the pres., and some others involved, it is obvious not only do they believe they are better than everyone else, but that they actually viscerally despise us, even as they live their lives with their own cheap and dirty secrets.
The USA has a malignant cancer, it is called the deep state; this cancer is caused by a toxin called TPTB, and it is becoming terminal. And unless there is radical treatment soon it will be too late. I propose a multiple amputation, the breaking apart of the country into say, 4 or 5 new countries. This would remove the main malignant tumor (Wash.) from the other bodies, and cut off the resources feeding the cancer. Long live the South!
