Crazy Christmas, I had read about “Israeli trauma bandages” months ago here on Shtfplan.com. Bought some for family Christmas gifts. My Son showed up and had bought some for me, as well, so we’re swimming in them.
After dinner dishes were done, the wife is putting away the big glass platter and dropped it, a shard of glass impaled her foot. Freaking blood everywhere. I peeled her sock off which pulled out the glass, and the blood is gushing. I tell my son to get one of the bandages, and it works just like the YouTube video, and we’re of to the emergency room.
X-rays show I got all the glass is out, looks like no tendon damage, no broken bones. They unwrap it and the wound is sealed solid by the quick-clot in the bandage, so the stitches are a breeze. They are all mystified by the crazy amazing bandage on my wife’s foot, one dr is annoyed they can be bought without a prescription! What a clueless ass. It’s all about getting someone to medical care without them going into shock or even dying due to blood loss. She got a tetanus shot and antibiotics, and we are home now having pumpkin and apple pie. Putting ice packs on her foot.

On Christmas I kept thanking everyone for survival supplies. My daughter in law put together a basket of gourmet goodies :crackers, pasta, jams, preserves,dried breads – which I kept referring to as survival supplies. It was the standing joke after the trauma bandages were opened! My daughter gave me a beer making kit – definite essential survival item!
My son was already ordering replacement and extra trauma bandages from Amazon, wile my wife was still getting stitches at the ER!

Most people get over their fears after they kick their opponent a few times in the teeth. I hope this site and posted comments gets people off their butts and takes charge of their lives. Start going to your city council meetings,and voice your opinion all call out the political criminals making all the decisions with your money. It all starts at the local level, and you would be surprised how many people support your ideas and glad you spoke up. Teach and encourage people to get active in their governments. Watch these political cockroaches squirm. We cannot afford to sit on the side lines anymore and just take it. organize neighborhood groups and carpool to these meetings. Take a Stand or just keep getting beat up sitting on your ass!! You have strength in numbers when fighting the Government, especially if you form a 501c3 neighborhood organization. They are then required to recognize your positions and get it all on the record as documented in opposition. I have busted my City trying to defraud entire neighborhood with phony zoning changes, and regulatory taking of property without compensation. They fold like cheap tent cowards when you call them out on the record of their Fraud and corruption. They then cannot hide and in fact run like sissy’s.

Go to a Holistic Doctors to tell you this. Regular doctors will just prescribe you more Toxic drugs to mask the symptoms. Get off all Prescription drugs if possible. You will feel much better.
WWTI, spot on advice. I gave up sodas 2 years ago and actually lost some weight the first week without them. Now it’s only water, tea, and coffee for me; MORE water than the other 2 liquids. It would be nice again to wipe all the laws off the Books and start from the baseline US Constitution. Pretty sad when there is a document that has to spell out our rights in a few dozen amendments or rights and then a Million Laws on the books of what you can’t do. Remember every Law that is put into place, is another Right taken away from somebody. The Congress seems to think their productivity is measures in the number of laws then can pass each year. I would rather see how many laws they can dissolve and take off the books. That would be progress in my book.

I am — Thanks for your feedback. I have received tons of comments/emails since we first took the original thumbing system offline due to it being compromised. Most of them were from folks who wanted the system to return. It is for this reason that we brought it back, and I do think it adds to the conversation as people who post can very easily see how their comments was received – some folks don’t like to respond with a full comment and I think the thumbs make it fairly easy to just say yay or nay.
For now I’d like to leave the thumbs up and running, though I have received some feedback regarding removal of the “DOWN” Thumb which may be something we do in the near future. Ideally, I just wanted something that people could click that says something like “This comment was helpful,” as opposed to an “UP” thumb…
Still working on it Nobama — again, I appreciate your feedback on this.

Some sites use just a “like” button…….if the voting style of a comment must remain in some fashion or another to appease the facebook crowd, it seems to me that a compromise between the two groups would be a simple “like” button. That way the voting up and down graphic is gone, but the voter loving crowd can still have their vote “fix” for the day.
Most of all….please give us a “reply with quote” button and do away with the snake like right and left posting. That way it is in a straight line down and in the chronological order the post is posted.

FishnMud – Yep have 6 x 5 gal Jerry cans, been using up and rotating out the older pricier gas… Will soon take all 6 cans to fill up again with the cheaper priced gas. With the 30 gals of extra gas and the 22 gallon vehicle tank that is 52 gallons @20 Mi / Gallon, that’s 1040 miles approx I could drive without filling up. Plenty to get me out of FL during hurricane season. Why sit in a 5 mile long line during evacuation to get gas because you failed to prepare ahead of time. Gas is like Food, the gas stations only store a few days gas on the premises. The supply line gets cut off for a few weeks and most people are screwed. Sit in place and enjoy staycation.
WWTI, same here, 6x5gal cans, been rotating them every year for several years now. Preserved with Stabil and Lucas, will probably switch to PRI once I’ve used up the Stabil because I heard it might be better, but no first-hand experience with it. I’ve had no problems with Stabil though.
My concern isn’t bugging out of state, we’ll stay put if possible. Rather, if something severe happens, and the stations are down or rationing, I can still keep my vehicles full for awhile. Or run a generator for awhile.
Yes, I use PRI-G for Gas.. They also make PRI-D for diesel. Yep bulk up on the cheaper costing gas.
Remember to find the cheapest Gas in your area go to GasBuddy.com type in your zip code and every Gas Station is listd for cheapest to pricey. A good gas link to keep on your Cell Phone while out driving.
WWTI and Nobama, I have 5 5-gal. cans I also rotate for when I bugout to my cousin’s BOL in north GA. Been using Stabil with no problems.
I can store around 300 gallons of fuel. I have never stored that much though. When I do store fuel though, I always use Stabil marine formula. It is for the ethanol fuel. Leave it in the boats, RVs, chainsaws, and lawnmowers year round. Never had a problem. I don’t worry about the hurricanes, can’t leave anyways.
Southern Kalifornia has it just under 3 bucks……. but sure is better than the $4-5 dollar range it’s been under obama…..
Looks like the cheaper gas did not spell out to greater Christmas purchases all the talking heads were saying would happen. Sales reports in the financials say sales are flat over last year… looks like the stock market will take a hit when it opens up again…….

A few months ago I sent off a big box of extra preps to my nephew (College Kid) who now gets it, regarding “Prepping” and why, and he was putting together his bug out bag. I sent him a bunch of my excess items, as I have been constantly been up grading and replacing over the last few years. He was so excited when he got the package. Entra gun holsters, gun cases, camo clothes, A brand new pair of hiking boots, a little small for me, but perfect for him, a gun scope, stoves, fire starter tablets, a few lighters, glow sticks, emergency blankets, emergency ration bars, a few MRE’s, odds and ends. He said it was better than Christmas. So maybe everybody here can help out someone else with your extras. It is a hard ramp up from the beginning as you know, where do you begin. Especially if budgets are tight. Start with your Bug Out Bag, and back track to 6 Mths of food. He shot a nice 11 Pt Buck this year which will feed him with plenty of protein this winter.
WC Damm – A lot of people swear by ACOG – take a look at EOTech – holographic red dot. some units even have Night vision adaptation. It is more pricey but, hey you only live once. maybe longer… ha.

Yea, 2015, the sticks that are holding up the house of financial cards will begin to snap.
I believe the lower gas, and continued climb of the market, will paddle along until late summer. Folks will think everything is back to the good ole days of the late eighties and early nineties, and sink it all into the banks and markets/commodities. retirements/life savings/investment banking, will appear better than normal.
As the old saying goes, it will be the calm before the storm for another six to eight months. Just my prediction.
Seeing a major shift in all financials in early to mid September. That giant sucking sound is the mountain of wealth that was built up by unsuspecting investors/depositors for decades, self imploding like one gigantic suck/sink hole underneath it all.
Bank on it. The trigger/catalyst could be man made, or an act of God. It doesn’t matter what causes it. What matters is how a person is positioned “when” it happens.
The writing is on the wall. When people (mostly lazy uneducated blacks) want “stuff”, your stuff, so bad that they ignore common law and decency, and prey on the weak unsuspecting folks comming out of shopping malls; to terrorize and rob at gunpoint, it is soon coming to a head, a point of no return.

Nobama, you should get one. It’s one sweet-shooting .22. When I took it to the range to test it, I ran 8 different types of ammo through it with NO misfeeds or jams. I looked at a Walther at the same time. The girl I know at the sporting goods store where I got the Ruger did advise against the Walther. Since I’m a Ruger fan anyway I bought it and don’t regret it for one minute. .22LR rounds are still hard to come by. Good thing I already have a nice stockpile built up. I was stockpiling .22LR BEFORE Sandy Hook. I knew something big was coming before the 2012 election but SHIT; we were all caught off guard by what came next. Peace and stay safe.
I stocked up on CCI MiniMags after Obola got elected the first time. Then re-stocked again after the results of the second “election”. Damn glad I did.
I too am a Ruger fan. If Ruger had the SR22 when I bought the Walther, I would never have bought the Walther. I ended up giving it away in trade to a man who did some work on my truck.
I also have a SIG Mosquito. Not too impressed with it, although it is better than the Walther. I think I’ll sell it and buy the Ruger.

Lower40, I’ve seen those and wish I’d gotten one but the one I bought without the threaded barrel was the LAST one Bass Pro Shop had in stock. In fact, it was the one they had in the display case. I’ll probably go to Ruger’s website and order a threaded barrel just in case. It sure is light for a .22LR pistol but I love it anyway. I might even buy another SR22 later on. It also sucks trying to get .22LR here in Memphis. Bass Pro gets in shipments of .22 on Saturdays and people are lined up to get it. There’s even a few fights over it on occasion. Take care.
I bought two sr’s 2 years ago. Best shooting little concealable things. I just found out, a friend of a friend can take the no mag disconnect off. That will happen shortly. The 2 I have shoot anything. I recommend one or two for everyone.
Fishandmud, I’m sold on the SR22 totally and especially since I’m a Ruger fan anyway. I also have a 10/22, the stainless model, I bought way back when they were $125 new in the box. I have a bunch of the 25-round mags for it. I tried one of the 32-round mags in it once and had feeding issues with that mag. The 25-round mags work just fine for me. No other brand of weapon for me BUT Ruger.

If you have a Rural King, they sell the SRs for les than $300. Pissed me off when they came to town. I paid $350 ea for mine. No threads, but it was the peak of obumer gun sales. I catch ammo once in a while. The shelves were starting to look pretty descent, accept 22, then all of a sudden emptying all out again. I don’t think they will ever recover. They are making millions of rounds of 22 weekly, somebody has got to be getting them. The one thing I give obumer is, he has single handedly armed this country like no other president before him.

Heard a great one last night, special on cnn? about ‘going to heaven.’ One lady said, (paraphrasing) “live fearlessly.” To those that read the Bible, it tells us not to ‘fear’ and I wanted to pass along what I thought was a GREAT THOUGHT.
There was no such thing as FEAR until the bible invented it. The Bible claims the earth is only about 5000 to 6000 years old but the diamond on your wifes finger is from 1 Billion to 3 Billion years old. So which one is more factual? The Bible gives the generations of man from Adam, which when the generations are added, comes to approximately 6000 years. Some believe the earth has been around longer because God told Adam to “replenish” the earth, as if it had been “plenished” before. Either way, when God created the earth, he didn’t create “baby” things. The mountains were “brought forth”. They didn’t grow up from baby mountains. There were trees in the garden. Not saplings. The diamonds were diamonds when created. They didn’t become diamonds. The important thing is- God became a man so he could die for us.

Amen, Hunter! I’ve been saying for years that one of the dumbest things we do is to try and apply our finite little brains to explain the infinite. To do so diminishes Him. That being said, we have these logical minds for a reason. For instance, most dogmatic people believe that man is inherently evil because of original sin. For that reason governments, being the constructions of such flawed creatures, are inherently evil. When we dig deeper, we see that religions are a construct of man as well. For that reason, I don’t go near it. My choice, and I could be waaaay off, is to have a personal relationship with my God. I keep it to myself and I don’t bother Him with trifling bullshit. If I NEED Him, I ask for His help and then have faith that He will follow through.
We can see evolution and adaptation in progress all around us. Just watch guppies in a fish tank to see natural selection at work. On the other hand, if you are a hardcore believer in the religion of evolution, take a hard look at a platypus.

Hope all of you had a peaceful and satisfying Christmas Day….even the non Christians/atheists..wwti and his compadres.
Secondly, I also believe as Overwatch and Hunter; that, most people try and understand God and try to “box” Him in with a finite and very castrated brain function.
Some people add to those limitations/limited ability to function anywhere near capacity; by adding toxins and hard living to their cells.
God put limitations on our recall, by limiting brain functions in these flesh bodies. I remember the first time I heard that, “as humans, we only use about 10% of our brain”. As i began to understand about the three Heaven and Earth Ages/dispensations of time, I then began to understand why God put those limitations in place.
Since we were all created as children of God in the “first” Heaven and Earth Age and were in our “Spirit/Non-corruptable bodies, we had no reason for having limited knowledge and recall, except by the “order” of our status in that realm.
Satan wasn’t created as an immediate guardian of the mercy seat of God, according to what is written and as i understand it; but, thru his actions and obedience he rose to that position. Add in his good looks and obvious approval by his Maker, and he went almost as high up the ladder as the Archangels.
As Guardian Of the actual Throne of God, there came great power and authority. No doubt there also came more knowledge. Greater knowledge than even some archangels, possibly. And then…..
Along came pride and lust. Satan became so enthralled with himself, that he became jealous over the Son of God, known then as King Melchizedek, priest of the most High. It is biblical and laid out in the book of Hebrews.
Lucifer/satan got bored with guarding the “mercy seat”, and wanted to sit upon it as King of the Most High.
Then came sin and and rebellion. Next came the end of the first Heaven and earth age and the beginning of the second, whereby God chose to bring his children forth into “flesh” bodies, with very limited recall, and no remembrance of the life they had before. Hence, giving everyone, except satan/Lucifer, the opportunity to be born innocent and decide who they would follow…God their Father,the Father of Life and Light; or Satan/Lucifer, the father of sin,darkness,and death.
It is all in the Word, and it is all unfolding as told it would.
We are not born with sin, however we are born into sin. Sin being the flesh, and the flesh world. The flesh craves satisfaction and is never satisfied. it is how we deal with that “craving” and illusion of satisfaction of those desires, that determines the level of sin in our lives.
Then comes into play the “reason for the season”. Thru King Melchizedek/Spirit body Son of God, and His sacrifice to become born of flesh woman/ virgin Mary, as Jesus Christ, and become our redemption/way out, of sin; we are given that salvation, thru faith in the things we can’t see, except by God’s Holy Word.
Didn’t have to do it. But did it through His never ending love for us.
How can anyone not believe and say that Jesus was not real, not the Son of God, Emmanuel (in the Hebrew) which is to say….”God with us”.
He is, God with us and was crucified and rose from the grave on the third day, to defeat Death/the devil/satan/the father of sin.
Religions have muddied the waters of truth about these facts, but true Christianity has prevailed that truth that is about to be proven, once and for all time.

So if I understand you correctly; you’re telling me that I, or my soul, existed in the first heaven. And that the first heaven was not perfect?
Yes BJ, you and every soul created, were in the first Heaven and Earth Age.
We were here on earth with the dinosaurs. We were taken away from the earth after the downfall of Satan and his deceiving away of one third of God’s children, to follow him.
The Archangels and cherubs are different entities, but do, and did, crossover from the dimension of Heaven into the realm of the Earth where flesh lives, as they did when the dinosaurs were alive and when man was in spirit/non corruptible bodies only. Satan was created as a beautiful cherub and was back and forth until God put him in lockdown after the temptation of Christ in the wilderness.
How often, or if ever, did we go back and forth from those two dimensions, as the Archangels, Christ as King Melchizedek, and God minself did; I don’t have the answer for that.
What I do know is that the followers of Satan that “refused”, to be born innocent, “thru” the waters/bag of waters/womb/flesh; were known as the “fallen angels”, or Nephilim. They came back to earth in their spirit bodies to seduce flesh woman, rather than be born thru her. One can read about it in the little book of Jude.
The Book of Enoch tells us a lot about them also. Even though it wasn’t canonized into the KJV, it can be found online, and downloaded.
They, the fallen ones, were able to mate with flesh woman and produced the hybrids known as giants/geborh=geber/hybrids/aka nephilim (thru ignorant teachings they are called nephilim, but actually nephilim were their male parentage).
Just imagine, they (the nephilim) were one of us, just like us in every way, except weaker minds. We knew what was going on in that time and age, we just have that blocked from our recall now.
I know it doesn’t seem possible to us in our finite minds, that such could happen, but it did.
It will happen again when these fallen angels/nephilim, that are now being held with satan in that Heaven/paradise dimension, are released when satan is, and they return to earth. However, there will not be enough time for those impregnations to come to full term in the “five months” alloted to Satan and his evil ones; as it was shortened by Christ, from the original 3 and 1/2 years given as their time to deceive flesh man as a final test to see who has been awake and learning from God’s Word. It is biblical and it is fabulous, and it is coming soon. Probably within this decade. If not, then people will have to endure a lot of hurt until it does.

I see you did check back to see if I replied. That tells me you have a thirst for knowledge and truth.
I don’t mind trying to explain what i have come to understand, to someone that is willing to open their mind to understanding and let go of some of the doctrines of man. i base everything i learn on biblical truths and make sure those truths line up with God’s Word entirely. Otherwise I say they are “possibilities” or I just don’t know.
I will try to answer your questions, as i have understanding from the scriptures. Your question requires much explanation and isn’t a simple two or three sentence reply.
First of all; satan is an entity, a created being like everyone. He was created with the title cherub. Cherubim is plural of cherub. He is male and has genitalia like all males, including the fallen angels. he seduced Eve and deceived her with lies to cause her to willingly have sex with him. Cain was a son of Lucifer and Abel was a son of Adam, both twins by different fathers.
Why was Lucifer created with genitalia? We are not told. I have asked myself that question many times and the only answers i have come up with are these two. First, God has His way, and makes all things for his purpose and pleasure. i believe God made the angels with genetalia, as to have simple access to DNA. Just my guess.
There are other entities called Seraphim. I believe they were created for one purpose and that was to be the protectors of the throne, after Lucifer fell and deceived/drew a third of God’s children away. The Seraphim, I believe, do “not” have free will, and possibly not even souls. They are like recordings, praising God day and night saying, Holy,Holy,Holy. Thay are programmed so they can’t screw things up like satan did. I say they don’t have free will because it would be like one of us repeating day and night, “love you God, love you God”. That would not be love because it would not come out of us, freely.
God has an order to His creations, and there are beings that are created for certain purposes in His hierarchy of those angelic beings. It has been said that the cherubim were ranked second to the Archangels, like Michael and Gabriel. They are given “free will”. It is understood by me and others, that Lucifer, was made in the perfect pattern as beautiful male being, and had found favor from God by working himself to the highest position of all cherubim and being the “protector of the mercy seat”, Ezekiel 28:14, “Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth;….
One that covereth the Throne of God, where the Father and the Son sit, and I believe that throne comes with an energizing power, or energy, and knowledge. Even though it can’t be proven by the Word, I believe Satan abused his position and sat on the Throne when he was only supposed to protect it from other angels sitting there. That is how and why he has so much knowledge and power to deceive others. Gen 2:17 “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it”:….
Not an apple tree, but none other than Lucifer/satan/serpent as in one who deceives by charming it’s prey.
God is holding Satan and his fallen angels in that realm/dimension, we call Heaven/Paradise, for His purpose of finalizing the temptations/testings of all the living during the last days. At the beginning of the Lord’s Day/ the Millennium, God will destroy all 7000 of the fallen angels as they are gathered with Satan/Antichrist in Jerusalem, the “Abomination of the Desolator”. He is finished with His purpose of “using” them to finalize His plan. At that time, Satan, who has been playing the role of Antichrist, will be taken hold of and locked away in the bowels/pit of the earth. Even his spirit cannot escape to tempt and deceive God’s children during the Millennium.
Satan’s spirit and his demonic spirits of the fallen angels and Hybrid offspring, are allowed to roam the earth now. That is the evil spirit of Satan in 1Pe 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”:….
For every negative there is also a positive and we have the Holy Spirit if we seek it to overcome that evilness that is present. The liberals have denied the Holy spirit and therefore fell for the deceptions of the “evil” Spirit of satan and his workers, like Jezebel and the fallen ones. Once liberalized, and fallen for the pc agenda, a person can’t distinguish right from wrong. The mess the masses have gotten us into.
So, you see, God has a purpose for satan. He is in a partial “lockdown”, now, until Michael unleashes him and his 7000 nephilim. They may be unleashed already and are on the demonic ship called Nibiru/planet X, headed for Earth; I don’t know, when they will be here but they are coming. God will destroy Satan in the Lake of Fire, and all that follow him, after the Millennial Reign/time of teaching truths, by Christ, as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
There will very much be an “order” of His Holy arrangement during that time. We will all be in our new spirit bodies, even the animals. Many preachers teach lies because of their ignorance about the Millennium. Many say there will still be mating/marrying and birthing/repopulating during those thousand years.

All souls that were created during the first Heaven and Earth Age, except the 7000 fallen ones, will have to be born from above,reborn into this age/ dimension; before the end. Satan, the cherubims, the Archangels, are exempt from rebirthing in flesh wombs. Just to become that embryo with an implanted soul, qualifies as being “born from above”/through the waters (not baptismal waters as some teach), bag of waters/womb.
All, are changed, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump. That is the seventh, when Christ returns to finish the battle between good and evil. Not a third coming as the pre-trib deceived ones teach.

How do you know it’s that many billion? Ultimately you have to go with carbon dating, which is a faulty system unless backed with dendrochronology (tree dating) the problem with that measurement system is you must assume a certain amount of carbon was in it in the first place- an amount that cannot be quantified. They make diamonds in labs in a couple of months now. Wouldn’t be hard for nature to do likewise in cataclysmic circumstances, such as a worldwide flood or even pressure from volcanic activity. I have life insurance and I’m glad it was not needed. I have health insurance and am glad our family has been generally healthy. I have auto insurance and am glad it’s been many years since the last auto incident. And I have SHTF insurance and am glad that so far the stock market is OK, the dollar is OK, martial law has not been declared, you can still get everything you need at the store, the electricity is still on (unless you live in North Korea), and there is still water coming out of the tap. Hopefully 2015 will be more of the same but if at some point it’s not, thank goodness the long time readers of this forum have SHTF insurance.
While there is not 100% agreement on everything, the collective wisdom of all of you is extremely impressive. We keep hearing about the financial 1% but serious preppers form a different 1%. It’s entirely within the realm of possibility that our stored food, gardening supplies, water treatment know-how, and emergency medical skills may one day play a role that stretches far beyond our immediate families and this group. How many of you have heard the complaint “I would rather die than live in a world like that” if TSHTF? Someone has to keep things going and the light is shining brightly on the Prepper 1%. I’m grateful for those of you who take this seriously.

Here is an e-mail sent to PC shille Clarence Page of the Chicago Tribune after an article he published concerning a name change for the Washington Redskins. A little off-colour, but clever!
Dear Mr. Page: I agree with our Native American population. I am highly insulted by the racially charged name of the Washington Redskins. One might argue that to name a professional football team after Native Americans would exalt them as fine warriors, but nay, nay. We must be careful not to offend, and in the spirit of political correctness and courtesy, we must move forward.
Let’s ditch the Kansas City Chiefs, the Atlanta Braves and the Cleveland Indians. If your shorts are in a wad because of the reference the name Redskins makes to skin color, then we need to get rid of the Cleveland Browns. The Carolina Panthers obviously were named to keep the memory of militant
Blacks from the 60’s alive. Gone. It’s offensive to us white folk.The New York Yankees offend the Southern population. Do you see a team named for the Confederacy? No! There is no room for any reference to that tragic war that cost this country so many young men’s lives.
I am also offended by the blatant references to the Catholic religion among our sports team names. Totally inappropriate to have the New Orleans Saints, the Los Angeles Angels or the San Diego Padres.
Then there are the team names that glorify criminals who raped and pillaged. We are talking about the horrible Oakland Raiders, the Minnesota Vikings, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh Pirates!
Now, let us address those teams that clearly send the wrong message to our children. The San Diego Chargers promote irresponsible fighting or even spending habits. Wrong message to our children.
The New York Giants and the San Francisco Giants promote obesity, a growing childhood epidemic. Wrong message to our children. The Cincinnati Reds promote downers/barbiturates. Wrong message to our children. The Milwaukee Brewers. Well that goes without saying. Wrong message to our children.
So, there you go. We need to support any legislation that comes out to rectify this travesty, because the government will likely become involved with this issue, as they should.
As a diehard Oregon State fan, my wife and I, with all of this in mind, suggest it might also make some sense to change the name of the Oregon State women’s athletic teams to something other than “the Beavers (especially when they play Southern California. Do we really want the Trojans sticking
it to the Beavers???)
I always love your articles and I generally agree with them. As for the Redskins name I would suggest they change the name to the “Foreskins” to better represent their community, paying tribute to the dick heads in Obama’s administration.

Here’s something that might make some of us smile:
The Chula Vista, California Police Department ran a forum with the local community with the topic being, “Community Policing.” One of the civilian participants posed the following question: “I would like to know how it is possible for police officers to continually harass people and get away with it?
From the “other side” Sgt. Bennett, obviously a cop with a sense of humor replied:
“First of all, let me tell you this…it’s not easy. In Chula Vista, we average one cop for every 600 people.
Only about 60% of those cops are on general duty (or what you might refer to as “patrol”) where we do most of our harassing. The rest are in non-harassing departments that do not allow them contact with the day to day innocents.
At any given moment, only one-fifth of the 60% patrollers are on duty and available for harassing people while the rest are off duty.
So roughly, one cop is responsible for harassing about 5,000 residents.
When you toss in the commercial business, and tourist locations that attract people from other areas, sometimes you have a situation where a single cop is responsible for harassing 10,000 or more people a day.
Now, your average ten-hour shift runs 36,000 seconds long. This gives a cop one second to harass a person, and then only three-fourths of a second to eat a donut AND then find a new person to harass.
This is not an easy task. To be honest, most cops are not up to this challenge day in and day out. It is just too tiring.
What we do is utilize some tools to help us narrow down those people which we can realistically harass.
The tools available to us are as follow:
PHONE: People will call us up and point out things that cause us to focus on a person for special harassment.
“My neighbor is beating his wife” is a code phrase used often. This means we’ll come out and give somebody some special harassment.
Another popular one: “There’s a guy breaking into a house.” The harassment team is then put into action.
CARS: We have special cops assigned to harass people who drive. They like to harass the drivers of fast cars, cars with no insurance or no driver’s licenses and the like.
It’s lots of fun when you pick them out of traffic for nothing more obvious than running a red light.
Sometimes you get to really heap the harassment on when you find they have drugs in the car, they are drunk, or have an outstanding warrant on file.
RUNNERS: Some people take off running just at the sight of a police officer. Nothing is quite as satisfying as running after them like a beagle on the scent of a bunny. When you catch them you can harass them for hours to determine why they didn’t want to talk to us.
STATUTES: When we don’t have PHONES or CARS and have nothing better to do, there are actually books that give us ideas for reasons to harass folks. They are called “Statutes”; Criminal Codes, Motor Vehicle Codes, etc…They all spell out all sorts of things for which you can really mess with people.
After you read the statute, you can just drive around for awhile until you find someone violating one of these listed offenses and harass them.
Just last week I saw a guy trying to steal a car. Well, there’s this book we have that says that’s not allowed. That meant I got permission to harass this guy. It’s a really cool system that we’ve set up, and it works pretty well.
We seem to have a never-ending supply of folks to harass. And we get away with it.
Why? Because for the good citizens who pay the tab, we try to keep the streets safe for them, and they
pay us to “harass” some people.
Next time you are in my town, give me the old “single finger wave.” That’s another one of those codes. It means, “You can’t harass me.” It’s one of our favorites.
Hopefully sir, this has clarified to you a little bit better how we harass the good citizens of Chula Vista.

And we hung out our sign that said LOOTERS BEWARE.
We tucked in the kids and is was my turn for guard,
That’s when i heard a strange noise in the yard.
I ran to the window, but all i could see,
Was dozens of goons that were running at me.
I met them at the door with my gun in my hand,
“I won’t go to your camp this is a free land.”
That’s right when things started to go all to hell,
They started advancing when I heard someone yell.
I looked overhead, what I saw made we woozy,
It was Santa,in his sleigh, and he was packing an Uzi.
“Get back thugs” said Santa”this land is still free”
“And when you fu©k with it, you fu©k with me”
They just kept on marching, so I hit the ground,
And I laid there and watched Santa mow them all down.
He sat down a package and in the blink of an eye,
He was back in his sleigh and off into the sky.
I picked up the package, i just had to know,
It was an AR-15, with a pretty red bow.
So my good friends, when the sh!t hits the fan,
Don’t forget Santa, because he is thee man…

The year has past, and the winds of time have erased the fears of what might happen.
We now look forward into a new time. A time in which something may happen. It may happen to one, or to all.
But we continue to stand and face the uncertainty, to share, to help each other, through words or actions we continue our path that will lead us into the new year.
New challenges and old fears will be there to meet us. Just as they were last year and the year before.
My prayer for all, is that we are back here again next Christmas, sharing our bitches and blessings.

Long long time since I posted and I figured now would be a good time. Although so many people get lost in all of the commercialization of this holiday season I would like to remind the reason we celebrate or at least from a Christian point of view. I is to remember the birth of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Time to spend with family, friends and to give. I think that this will be the last Christmas that will resemble normal that we will see. If you are not a brother or sister in the Lord at least cherish the time you have with your family and loved ones and focus on the many things we are blessed with which many of us seem to take for granted. enjoy a meal no matter how simple it may be. Enjoy the company you re with no matter what resentments you may have. Put all of that aside and give thanks for every day we have to live on this earth no matter how bleak things may seem at the time. Just remember even the poor people in western society are more wealthy than the poorest folks inmost third world countries. God Bless all of you and keep your powder dry and your heads up with your eyes wide open and learn to listen instead of talk so much. Merry and safe Christmas. And bring in the new year right. Man’s real enemy to peace are those who use religions and other political divisive issues to keep man fighting with each other. In one sense, this article is good. It is hard to get upset with someone who is arguable clinically disturbed, and possibly literally insane. And Salon saw fit to print this… immediately after Rolling Stone embarrassed themselves with their fake rape story. Just classic.

In the spirit of Christmas and as a peon to our modern sexually abusive times, she has penned a piece for Salon that says Christmas is all about God Raping Mary. I am sorry to say that this is no joke.

Well said, eppe… I want to thank Mac for this site. I have learned much not only from the articles, but the posts afterwards are encouraging in that I realize there is a network of people out here that want to see America survive.
It troubles me, however, when things get off topic to the point that we begin trashing each other and our individual core values. We can all have our opinions about religion, the police, etc, but when SHTF, we are going to need each other more than we can imagine today. I have to wonder if some of these divisive posts might be why readership is down. I know there are times I don’t follow them because I know how some will react to the story.

I think some people dropped off this site because it turned in to a 5th grade comic site, instead of sticking to the article looking for solid info and substance. Merry Christmas to all on this site as I have said in the past you all have taught me so much and with your guidance I now have the peace of mind knowing almost any situation can be handled. My husband fell just after Thanksgiving and has been bed ridden since, although I see some small signs of improvement it is going to be a long road, it is nice to know I can go to my stash and not worry is it going to be eat or get the prescription for him with my preps I don’t have to make a choice.

I said that if the protests were still raging by Christmas, there would be full blown violent uprising ending in martial law and an Obama Dictatorship by 2016.
Obama, and his people, have been “prepping” for this Crisis, almost from the start. Which explains the Executive Orders and all of the ammo being purchased by the DHS. It also explains the Emperor’s instructions to the Communist Ferguson protesters to “Stay the Course”. They believe that this is “Their Time”!
It’s Christmas, the violence continues to grow. According to Besmenov the U.S. population has been prepped for this since the 1970’s through the efforts of “Active Measures” run by various Communist fronts.
The Crisis starts small but continues to grow week by week until the Government topples, just like what was done recently in the Ukraine.

I’ll have to check that later. We are in the middle of a cyclical paradigm shift. Problem is a lot of people are in denial and get mad when you point out the fact the American Dream is collapsing. Jobs are hard to come by, etc. They get mad when you refute their claims the welfare folks dont want to work. There is always an exception and there will always be those that milk the system, but the vast majority of folks want to support themselves and theirs and have the possibility of economic mobility that comes from working. But the factory jobs, etc are gone. Point all this out and they get mad…. As I told my best friend recently- you can only help those that want to be helped and are seeking for the truth, but those in denial sure make it difficult to get the ball rolling for positive change for all. And what gripes me is that there are so many who only want to help “certain people” they deem worthy. Just got to shake my head on that one- just because today its not you who is down on their luck doesnt mean it couldnt happen tomorrow- and it dont matter what color, religion, etc you are.. Bad stuff happens and it doesnt discriminate.

This year I was invited to a friend’s place for dinner,the adults got each other a whole buncha nothing(as it should be),I got the 3 kids an ounce of silver each. The parents were in awe of my gifts to their kids. The kids automatically started asking questions,they actually stopped playing with their toys and it was an enjoyable conversation 🙂
Their other present was a surprise visit from ‘Mr fluffy bunny’,I have a pet rabbit which I brought along with me to dinner. The kids went nuts trying to feed him and pet him. Im sure it was an Xmas they will never forget,and all it took was some silver(that isnt taxable so my governmint dont get a chance to bleed me dry,and I didnt have to act like a sheep clamoring to get a stupid useless toy/present at a stupid shopping mall) and a rabbit.

Had to put my dog down back in October it was a very hard thing to do he had the cancer he was 6 human years old I felt awful to have to be the one to decide his fate but I didn’t want him to be miserable just so I could have him with me so I spent his last hour stroking his ear sand petting him I think he was comfortable I went home with a massive headache and felt like a piece of shit for a few days but I know it was the right choice for him he was a good boy I rescued him from the pound I will get another dog someday just not now and it will be a rescue too I feel this is the right thing to do dogs are the most loyal companions it’s a shame their life is short I learned a lot about compassion from having the dog I wouldn’t say I have a stone heart but I do come off as not being too compassionate never leave on bad terms with people you love you may not see them again you don’t want the last thing you said to them to be your an asshole or something like that the dog will be sorely missed
i have had to decide for mine too. they were all rescues. only one needed to be let go early.

Just remembered a while back or so I was looking online at gear n stuff and stumbled on to maine military surplus site was looking through stuff and came upon these military sand bags thought to myself if shit got realy ugly these would great to have these things will stop rifle rounds and you could build a fortress out of them plus use them for flood control I never picked them up I just couldn’t find a use for them at my place but wanted to put it out there for others they are pretty cheap as far as I can see they are od green these are the heavy duty bags you could fortify your place put a fallout shelter in your basement or whatever no I don’t work for maine military I was looking at an atlas safe room but big bucks this would kick ass for people with a lot of guns to me these things are end of the world things I will get the wood stove instead I feel it has more bang for the buck but the sand bags are cheap and you could put them up for if you may need them you could trade them easily if shtf need to strike the right balance of self reliant homestead and survival I don’t put much emphasis on firearms I have a reasonable battery but figure once you have your bases covered why buy another gun people think they need all these guns that’s fine but they have no other preps or knowledge they say things like they don’t need to prep they will just take what they want from others this is stupid

You can easily pack a few dozen sandbags for your bug out bag. When you get to a location dig out a shallow fox hole and fill the bags, and add a camo tarp and leaves for a roof. When it is time to move on empty the sand bags, stuff them in your pack and move to the next location. I sent my nephew a half dozen. He said also good for a rifle rest when shooting. Cover and concealment. You can also use the bags to haul gear in as well. Lots of uses.

I while back when the fiasco involving the overload of this site with red thumbs, I commented that all of Mac’s attempt to deliver an uncensored forum could eventually fall. Not to the trolls or to the government regulations but to the excessive hate speach constantly submitted. I somewhat decided to step back and consentrate on my personal preparedness. I did not want to fall again to letting myself get so upset that someone the likes of Sybil could ruin my day. I still search this site for helpfull information but usually a day or two after publication. Therefore rarely leaving a comment. I allways enjoy your input. Your jokes crack me up but your serious comments are great also. Please keep them both flowing. This site is the first place I ever visited in my attempt to further my knowledge of what to be prepared for if the SHTF. I have never regretted it and I consider Mac and all the Good Folk here family.

PKLL, thanks for your comments here. In recent weeks we have begun the process of booting users (and their comments) who have no other purpose than to berate others. Free speech I am all for – it’s a fundamental reason for why this web site is here to begin with. But, as you noted, there are those out there whose sole purpose is to destroy, especially as it relates to communities like ours.
We’re on it – and please bear with us – tons of such comments come in on a daily basis. I love the idea of an open forum – I really do – the problem is that a small percentage of our society is exactly that, haters. They hate everyone, especially themselves, and the only way to make themselves feel better is to project that anger onto others. That, and as others have mentioned before, it is quite possible that certain organizations want to create division and they have taken to cyberspace to do so under the guise of ‘regular readers’ and community members.

Its 35 degrees here in east central MN. Kind of a brown Christmas this year. Thats O.K. Its been nice having all the kids home together for once. Some believe that this could be our last Christmas. Maybe next year we will be having Christmas with Jesus, for some of us. His Spirit has been here in my house today, and it has been a comfort. After the 1st of the year things could start getting serious. The 24th, yesterday, the U.N. small arms treaty goes into effect. I hope that people start taking stuff more serious as things around us start to fall apart.Will we all be Wolverines or sheep. When things start to be seen by everyone, then it should be easier to explain to the sheeple what is now happening. Its been really hard to tell people what could be coming. They can’t see it , so in their mind it doesn’t exist. Now should be when we start drawing closer to Jesus. I sure need to. I’m as ready as I guess I could be. in good shape if you need fillings or root canals or crowns stuff like this do it IMHO it’s worth every penny forget bout fake white ass teeth you want a healthy mouth I had my appendix out in 2008 one afternoon I was at home started having abdominal pain and heartburn like i ate a hot coal curled up on the bed I waited a while quite a while I decided something was broken inside me and needed to go to hospital they took me in right away did an abdominal scan and said my appendix was perforated and leaking and I needed emergency surgery right away I was in bad shape so they brought me down to pre op did the surgery don’t know how long was in a fog woke up with a tube in my nose going to my stomach they kept me in the hospital for a week they said I had an abscess on my bowel and they wanted to make sure I could shit I have a 6inch scar from the bottom of my belly button down had to give myself Iv for a week antibiotics perkisetts dilaudid the surgeon said I’m lucky to be alive the worst appendix case of the year I have no problems after all that I live a normal drug free life with no problems medically now listen to your body people i will never give up trying to survive my father in law passed away same night this was the most misery I have been through in my life I’m not trying to be a tough guy or any thing like that people are scared to go to the dentist that is a cake walk compared to what I’ve been through I will not lie I was fucking scared to death I was gonna die but you will be surprised the shit you can tolerate be brave and have people pray for you god loves his children i never went to papas funeral saw my wife once that week she had to handle her dad’s funeral 8-8-08 is a date I will never forget broke a bone in my foot once had a heavy stone fall on it felt like someone drove a nail in it my foot swelled up like a football had to loosen up the laces and finished up the day at work went home iced it up all night woke next morn whole top of foot was bruised and swollen I said shit I gotta get this X-ray to make sure it will heal right doc said get a cane and try not to walk on it for a while so bone will set said fuck the cane shit went back to work Monday what are you gonna do stay home and do nothing my boss said are you ok said ya limping he says you like to work like that it healed fine no foot pain I was concerned about that being a long term side effect of the injury enough about medical issues my point expect shtf to be painful like I said not trying to be tough guy but don’t be soft like a little girl I know some women that are very strong and still beautiful to me this is attractive not some bird trying to assert power over men that is not sexy they are not a man guys need to harden up and take man responsibility blades get some cheap 30 wt oil put it in an oil can on the shelf in the shed coat your outdoor tools liberally and they won’t rust at all just wipe em down use them put more oil on them before you put them away never be in a hurry to get stuff it ll be there I got a fiskars x27 splitter I like it made in Norway or something like that it’s a nice tool for fire wood splitting the handle is indestructible plastic not kidding beat the shit out of it looks like new cost like 45 bucks not too heavy you won’t get tired using it oil it good to go someone we know her husband passed and she was moving she was gonna throw his tools away not kidding I did take some but not all as felt they weren’t all usefull to me got a good quality post hole digger good for fence poles a heavy long pry bar a few other things I forgot about a come along I think these things are all good manual tools that can make life easier get some bailing wire some chicken wire and you can make animal traps to catch the vermin trying to destroy your garden you can eat them too buy a cheap sump pump this can be useful bringing water from nearby sources use an rv battery solar panel and inverter to run it get an old 55 gal drum and poke holes in it and burn your trash in it reuse what u can first I would like to get that bag sealing machine for food saw it on sale for 79 $ at Wally’s the ziplock one someday will get it bought a Dutch oven a while back for 40 $ use it right in the fire just put coals on top of it cast iron tuff as hell heavy too lasts long after your dead i like the Dutch make big meals for the fam in it grab some homer buckets 3$ apiece brand new clean not some old used up shit from som restaurant that smells like pickles use the old ones in the garden I mean you want to live as civilized as possible dig a deep pit to shit in cover with fire ash this is things all will need to do you want sanitation to be priority put someone competent in charge of this doing laundry burning trash and latrine upkeep ya it blows so take turns doing it if disease breaks out your fucked it’s game over it’s not as cool to talk about as guns but I would rather face reality this is what shtf can be Some one was talking about the ruger 22s pistols I don’t have a 22 pistol they are sweet though I was never a ruger fanboy till I went to the gun shop and picked up an lcr I didn’t leave without buying one grabbed a 357 mag lcr cost over 500$ this thing has a newly designed fire control the trigger is smooth as butter and breaks clean I can go on about it but the quality is the bomb it’s like a fuckin hand cannon comes with hogue grips people say it’s a hand full i call bullshit it’s perfect the muzzle flash is crazy look out bad guys heavyduty shit this thing is I got the 357 cause can use 38 too more $ but blackened stainless not aluminum frame weighs couple grams more so what when you shoot it it feels great cake to care for love it I’m new to revolvers smiths are sweet to but like the ruger better this is good American iron I can see why people love them I know our gun preferences are diff I love em all got a glock I know it’s a good piece but I don’t love it take the ruger over it I know 5 shot ruger over glock with high cap mags I figure be a better shooter need less rounds maybe I’m not a glock fan I never loved the glock thinking of selling it and getting a On the subject of sand bags. How many do you need to give you half way descent cover? I would say about forty per emplacement. Now fill and move forty sand bags. Then figure in damp/wet sand or earth.
You can drop a couple behind and against your doors to stop invasions into your home. Yes it is dead weight.
Will you prefill the sands bags? It takes time to fill them and they are not stable while filling them with a shovel by one hand and the other to keep them open.
Get into the field and fill some.

Never filled sand bags before . You’ve probably heard of Vaclav Havel of Czechoslovakia and Lech Walesa of Poland, both Nobel Laureates and heroes of the Cold War who precipitated the collapse of communism in Eastern Europe a quarter-century ago.
But how many of us know the story of Laszlo Tokes, a Protestant pastor who in December 1989 stood up to the Romanian communist despot Nicolae Ceausescu and sparked a people’s revolution that freed Romania from a tyranny the equal of the Soviet dictator Joseph Stalin? In the spring of 1989, while other Soviet satellites were challenging their communist leaders, Romania remained in the iron grip of the totalitarian Ceausescu regime. Few dared to speak out against “President” Ceausescu and his Stalinist secret police, the Securitate.
A notable exception was 37-year-old Laszlo Tokes, the assistant pastor of the Hungarian Reformed Church in the Transylvanian town of Timisoara. The theme of his sermons was simple but arresting: “We do not have to support the dictatorship and the dictator Ceausescu.” No one had dared utter such a public challenge.
Ordered to stop preaching, Tokes refused. Directed to leave the apartment in which he and his family were living and move to a distant isolated town, he refused. In November, attackers armed with knives broke into his church apartment, but Tokes and friends fought them off. In mid-December when an eviction order was issued, members of Tokes’ congregation began a vigil outside his lodging, and a human chain formed around the block.
By the evening of Dec. 15, 1989, the crowd had increased to several thousand, including students, Romanians as well as Hungarians, Orthodox as well as Protestants. They began singing “Wake up, O Romanian!,” a song banned in 1947 by the communists. They shouted, “Down with Ceausescu!” and “Down with Communism!”
Two days later, on direct orders from Ceausescu, communist troops fired on a large crowd gathered in the town center of Timisoara, killing hundreds and perhaps thousands of innocents. This cowardly bloody act was the catalyst for a spontaneous people’s revolt that quickly spread across the country and to the capital city of Bucharest.
Confident he had the backing of the populace, Ceausescu went to the main square and tried to give a speech listing the socialist “accomplishments” under his rule. To his shock and amazement, he was interrupted by jeers, boos and whistles. Unable to control the crowd, he and his wife Elena fled the city in a helicopter only to be forced down and taken prisoner by a new government. After a short trial by a special military tribunal, Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu were executed on Dec. 25, 1989.
Today, Laszlo Tokes, the courageous pastor who brought down a dictator, continues to speak out for freedom and against totalitarianism as a member of the European Parliament and a bishop of the Reformed Church in Romania. A modern St. George, Bishop Tokes stands ready to battle any force that threatens the faith and the freedom of those whom he represents as pastor and political leader.
So, let us give thanks in this holiday season for Havel and Walesa and Tokes, for all the men and women on both sides of the Iron Curtain — the known and the unknown — who resisted and kept on resisting the evil empire over a span of 40 years so that Marxism-Leninism would wind up where it belonged: on the ash heap of history.

An internet friend of mine (foxkitten) told me all about this a few years ago in emails, one of her two himes is in Romania and she is married to a Hungarian…it is a good story. Once she sent me some Hungarian moonshine…..nasty stuff!
