Last week Trump supporters and leftist social justice warriors met on the political field of battle in Berkeley, California. Words were exchanged, as were punches. And while an alt-right leader was punched in the face, by all accounts even the social justice warriors admit that they got a major beat-down.
This prompted a reddit discussion among the left’s tolerant resistance movement, with many asking how they can more effectively go to war against anyone who disagrees with their social, political, and economic views.
The anti-Trump protesters at the rally were ill-prepared for what they came to Berkeley to confront and now they are trying to figure out ways to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
In short, as predicted, they are turning to militancy and mob action by mobilizing individuals and groups to attend combat training seminars, acquiring better equipment like baseball bats and helmets, and of course, if things really go bad… guns.
Yes, we seemed to have lost today. The alt-right held their ground. If we wanna take action against them, we need to be better organized and better trained. It doesn’t help that it’s only the far left opposing them, any trump supporter can be radicalized far easier than any liberal.I hope we learn from today…A shocking number of our comrades went in there with absolute no combat training. Not getting disarmed is a big part of the problem, yes, but we need more than flags and bats. We need to take notes from the John Brown Gun Club and get firearms and training. I know getting firearms in states and cities we have a presence in is usually a hassle, but even handguns would help. It would certainly put a psychological element in while holding fash back. Unless they can find enough ‘UN peacekeepers’ to do the job, they can hang it up. Even with the amount of law enforcement they have now, they’ll never be able to do it. You probably have a good point. I knew a firefighter/EMS guy from a rough town in the South who would go into the ghetto for emergency calls. He said they would be the first on the scene to pick up patients and provide first aid before trucking them off to the hospital. He said frequently the gunshots were still being fired as he was roaring into the ghetto, while the cops were sitting a few blocks away, waiting for the fight to finish.
You’ll note the obvious hands-off policy they have when these protest/riots occur, like during the Trump rallies where unarmed people were brutalized by thugs and cops wouldn’t assist them.
Also, police have established in court they have no duty to protect you, so they’re not responsible for your beating at the hands of commie thugs, even when on the scene.

Some groups have missions, like blocking certain streets, trying to block the cops, or trying to break through a cordon. You can’t see it all when the news just shows a mob, but occasionally you get glimpses of how organized it is, such as this article mentioning “affinity groups,” which are the individual groups in the protest. During Ferguson, and other protests, such as Charlotte, NC’s 2016 riot/protest, the cops caught lots of out-of-state people as the “professional” protesters arrived to exploit the movement.
They have special training camps they go to to learn organized protesting, sabotage, chanting, sign-making, leaflet-making, internet messaging, how to write Congress, how to make public displays, how to film propaganda, how to agitate minorities, etc. They practice tactics, like how to cure pepper spray or mace, how to sabotage police cars, how to make bombs, how to armor themselves, etc.
They already have clubs and rocks and molotovs and whatnot, so guns are just the next evolution. Rest assured, they will practice whatever tactics they think work best. I suspect they won’t bring guns to a stand-up fight for long, because they could get shot, too. I have been following what has been going on in Berkeley, and other places. I can’t really help but wonder if it’s sort of a plan to let this escalate into a shooting situation.
