There Will Be A Lot More Rioting, Looting And Civil Unrest As The U.S. Economy Continues To Crumble

What we have been witnessing on the streets of Minneapolis is just the beginning.  Our nation is so deeply divided, and a large portion of the population is losing faith in the basic institutions that govern our society.

Personally, I don’t know how anyone can watch the video of what happened to George Floyd without having an emotional reaction.  Police brutality has been a massive problem in the United States for many years, and it has gotten to the point where most of the country no longer has faith in the police.  Of course, the rioters are not helping their cause by burning down the communities that they are supposedly defending.  And after causing so much chaos on Wednesday night, protesters were back in the streets of Minneapolis on Thursday

Protests and, in some cases, violence, continued Thursday in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd, a black man who died in police custody after a white officer pinned him to the ground under his knee.

Hundreds of protesters flooded Minneapolis streets Thursday evening for a march through downtown. Traffic was halted as a crowd of people stretched for up to four blocks. Protesters shouted “I can’t breathe” and “no justice, no peace; prosecute the police” as volunteer marshals in highlighter-colored vests directed traffic.

Sadly, this is just a small preview of what is coming to major cities all over America.

If you think that these riots about police brutality are intense, just wait until the economic riots start.

We are moving into a time when millions upon millions of Americans will become increasingly desperate as we plunge even deeper into a new economic depression.  On Thursday, we learned that another 2.1 million Americans filed initial claims for unemployment benefits last week…

First-time claims for unemployment benefits totaled 2.1 million last week, the lowest total since the coronavirus crisis began though indicative that a historically high number of Americans remain separated from their jobs.

Economists surveyed by Dow Jones had been looking for 2.05 million. The total represented a decrease of 323,000 from the previous week’s upwardly revised 2.438 million.

This was the 10th week in a row when the number of new claims for unemployment benefits has been above 2 million.

As I keep reminding my readers, prior to this year the highest that number had ever been for a single week was 695,000 in 1982.

So even after so many catastrophic weeks in a row, we are still at a level that is approximately three times higher than that old record.

Overall, 40.8 million Americans have filed new claims for unemployment benefits over the past 10 weeks.  That is the greatest spike in unemployment in all of U.S. history by a very wide margin, and it means that more than one-fourth of all the jobs in the United States have already been wiped out.

But for now, the impact of those job losses has been cushioned by the extremely generous $600 a week unemployment bonuses that the federal government has been handing out, but those benefits are set to expire at the end of July

Right now, many are able to take advantage of an additional $600 a week in unemployment benefits provided by the federal government on top of each state’s standard jobless benefit. But that benefit is set to expire at the end of July if Congress does not pass another stimulus bill to extend benefits.

If those benefits are not extended we will see a massive national temper tantrum, and right now President Trump and Republican leaders in the Senate do not plan to extend them.

We shall see what happens, but we may soon have tens of millions of very angry unemployed Americans that are unable to pay their bills anymore.

And with each passing day, more bad economic news just keeps rolling in.  We just learned that orders for durable goods were down 19.4 percent on a year over year basis last month, and we also just learned that pending home sales were down 34.6 percent in April compared to the same month a year ago.

As I discussed yesterday, we are watching a full-blown economic collapse begin to unfold, and the fact that many U.S. states are starting to “reopen for business” is not going to stop the momentum that has now been created.

During the first few weeks of the pandemic, there was just a trickle of major bankruptcies, but now that trickle has become a flood

In the first few weeks of the pandemic, it was just a trickle: companies like Alaskan airline Ravn Air pushed into bankruptcy as travel came to a halt and markets collapsed. But the financial distress wrought by the shutdowns only deepened, producing what is now a wave of insolvencies washing through America’s corporations.

In May alone, some 27 companies reporting at least $50 million in liabilities sought court protection from creditors — the highest number since the Great Recession. They range from well-known U.S. mainstays such as J.C. Penney Co. and J. Crew Group Inc. to air carriers Latam Airlines Group SA and Avianca Holdings, their business decimated as travelers stayed put.

And we are watching store closings occur at a rate that we have never seen before in our entire history.

At this point, Coresight Research is projecting that about 25,000 stores will permanently close by the end of this calendar year

Coresight Research, which tracks retail openings and closings, has upped its projected store closures for 2020 from 8,000 at the beginning of the year to 15,000 at the beginning of March to about 25,000 now.

“That’s unlike anything the industry has ever seen,” Coresight CEO and founder Deborah Weinswig said. “It’s the speed with which it’s all happening which has been a little surprising.”

So much anger was building up all over America during the “good years”, and now this new economic depression is going to make things much, much worse.

When there are no jobs available and people can’t even provide the basics for their families, we are going to see frustration on a scale that is unlike anything we have ever witnessed before.

So please take careful note of what is happening in the streets of Minneapolis right now, because that is what the future is going to look like in all of our major cities.

        • (Two shall enter, one will leave.)

From the Victorian fairy things of Eastern elitists, to Michael LaVaughn. A bedraggled Turner was dressed in black and silvery tones, to marshal last year’s Rose Parade.

Witness mysterious market forces in action:
fav search engine -> imgs -> back ten years at a time

        • “Hooters” are Welcome.
          “Looters” will be shot.

I just like to put up “Free Food signs all around and say the location is at the local PD station. Keep em busy defending their fort, and they will leave us alone. Got to have strategy folks. Be clever.

      2. We need to get these rioters organized, it’s the only way to have a successful revolutionary force that can’t be easily contained and defeated.

      3. If you have not prepped for this, you are way behind the curve. And keep in mind there is more than just stocking up. If you are unfamiliar with the means of personal defense, get familiar. If you have bought buckets of beans and lentils, know how to cook them. If you are worried about health problems, know first aid and how to deal with medical and dental emergencies. No one will be coming to save you.
And consider this: You may be living in an area which is some distance from an exploding Blue Hive, such as the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area. Once the Golden Horde has picked over the bones of the cities, they will get organized and branch out. Research “Lines of Drift”. You may not be interested in the rioters, but they will be interested in you.

      4. Black riots and looting planned for tonight May 29th in Illinois. At Harlem ave. and Cermak rd. This is near Berwyn and North Riverside, Illinois. Use caution if driving in this area.

      5. There is a particular “entitled” class that will use ANY Excuse to rob-steal-home invade-riot-burn-rape-murder. They use an “injustice” as an excuse and cover for mob criminal activity. Then they call these crimes a “protest”.

Prepare to defend yourselves. The “Police” will avoid areas with the above type of activities by the gangster mobs. Why? Because Police are only comfortable engaging someone who is unarmed and only when there are 20 police and one unarmed person on the ground, in cuffs. Then the brave Police will beat, choke, stomp, the unarmed person and then file “agravated assault of a Police officer” charges AGAINST the man who was beaten sensless, while in cuffs. That is how your brave Police handle things on daily basis in Amerikka.

You are on your own. You are squeezed between criminal “entitled” class gangsters and criminal Police. No one will help you when they come to burn you out, or the Police come to arrest you for not being vaccinated by Bill Gates biochip death vaccine.

You must defend yourselves. So man up. Don’t worry about it. Don’t be fearful. Just deal with the threats before you. Be prepared to protect your home, family, way of life.

        • “There is a particular “entitled” class that will use ANY Excuse…”

With all due respect, tt is inept to blame the labor but never management.

      6. Nope burning & looting just what Nig Nogs Gimmie Dats and Din Dus naturally do when the weather is warm and they find any excuse. They burn parts of citys. When the white folks eventually rampage whole countrys burn and no goods are hung from lamppost!

        • I wonder did you watch any of the riots Old Guy?

The majority of the hoodlums were young white kids.

      7. Democrat city, run by the Democrat party and Democrat politicians, with Democrat policies. The rioters and looters comprise a core voting bloc for the Democrat party in Minneapolis. Minneapolis / St. Paul metro area also has taken in more than 80,000 Somalis in recent years, that metro area is well on their way to becoming 3rd world city, how progressive. An on-line search shows the metro area is blue in a sea of red. The Republican party could not have come up with a better plan to win over Minnesota in the coming election.

      8. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet! Just wait till BLM and Sputnik propagandists praying to their saviour Bill Gates to vax them find out that the vax that they have all been waiting for just might sterilize them! Gates has been vocal about reducing the population with vaccines, many have died from ” the cure” and Kenyan doctors have discovered an anti-fertility agent in
“the cure” as well for tetenas vaccines that Gates Gavi organization has funded.
        https://www.globalresearch.ca/mass-sterilization-kenyan-doctors-find-anti-fertility-agent-in-un-tetanus-vaccine/5431664

      9. Not good enough Tim Waltz! Waltz charged murderous cop Derek Chauvin that knelt on George Floyd’s neck with third degree murder and man slaughter!

        Guess again Waltz!

Try murder in the first degree and charge the other three cops with accessory to murder to start!

Everyone deserves equal protection under the law! Why didn’t the other three cops demand that Chauvin stop, or physically pull Chauvin off, or do what they would do to the average person that was kneeling on a cops neck and shoot him?

Equal protection under the law! You are not unique and special snowfalkes! You are snow fakes!

      10. One of the rioters said he was, “Going to the suburbs. Ain’t nothin left round here.”
Might be a bad idea for life longevity of a criminal rioting burning thug, aka:”protestor”.

        Texas has the “Castle Law”.
“You Loot, Then we shoot.” Loot at your own risk.

Anyone who tries to Steal, Rob, Rape, Kidnap, Murder, Riot, Loot, Burn, are THEN considered Legitimate Targets and the battle field becomes a permiscuous target rich environment.

The rioters will shortly be BEGGING for the Police to save them, and protestors will be calling 911 for Police protection.

The Police officers in Dallas that were tragically murdered by “protestors” were PROTECTING the protestors. As a business owner in the area stated to me, “He was waiting in his office chair, back against wall, rifle, shotgun, ammo, all at the ready. Waiting inside his business for the rioters to break in to loot.” This man is US Marine, 2 tours Iraq, 1 Afghhanistan, and has no problem dealing with armed threats. The rioters would Not have destroyed his business without many lives lost. He said that, “he had no intention of calling 911.”
Many hardworking American people have had ENOUGH of All liar Media fear mongers, All Politicians, and ALL of the entitled class whiners, looters, burners, criminals.

If people don’t learn to get along and remember, “we are ALL human beings no matter skin tone or politics.” If Americans don’t learn to get along with one another. Then things will get interesting, in a very bad way. Pray for Peace.

      11. And this is what happens to a nation that has forgotten God and His Commandments.
We kill millions of our unborn simply for convenience, we’d like to legalize the murder of the newly born, and we “humanely” euthanize our sick and elderly.
We kicked God out of our homes, our schools, and our nation, and then we wonder why incivility, hatred, and violence abounds?

        • actually never had the true belief will perish soon

      12. In this sleepy Arizona town there’s just no place for a street fighting maaaaaan…

      13. I bet the whole thing was faked by the Mpls. Police using the four cops and their black buddy but they didn’t know he had a heart condition and accidentally killed him. When he said he couldn’t breathe he was probably having a heart attack. Hope this comes out at the officers trial if the don’t die of unfortunate pretrial accidents.

      14. First, This cop should go to jail, he is a killer and POS.
However, This chimp out mentality needs to be shut down – the establishment will not do it so the People need to exercise their 2nd amendment. Shoot to kill these criminals to protect themselves and their properties and tell the establishment that is what will happen if they don’t do their jobs.
We have been at this for well over 60 years and everything we do is not enough – affirmative action, freebies Billions spent to help/placate these people. Why always is it BLACKS? Where was the riots and outrage when an elderly couple was mowed down at a cemetery a few days ago?
I say The democratic liberal politicians own this – Lyndon Johnson said we will own these people forever after his Great Society BS.
The Back leadership had best stop trying to milk us and FIX THIER problem or the people will – enough – way too long coming.

      15. Protest can, and does, involve civil unrest. In this case, it
is at least understandable. However, to scream “JUSTICE”
at the top of your lungs and then deny due process to the
accused and engage in looting and vandalism is an
obvious contradiction and sign of phoney adherance
to “Justice”. It is used as an excuse to loot. Have yet
to hear of anybody looting any work gloves!
Indict and try this cop. If convicted, send him to prison
with some of the people he, himself, arrested – maybe
abused. I believe he will be taken care of WITHOUT
        looting a single business.
Aside – I was raised in Memphis, TN. I remember the
Jim Crow laws and segregation. I was raised in that
environment. I remember when Memphis repealed the
Jim Crow laws in 1961 – seven years BEFORE Martin
Luther King was assassinated in his support of an
illegal strike by public workers, labeled as a civil rights
movement. (Remember the controllers?) Time magazine
reported that he was killed in a “decaying, Mississippi
river town”. Now, that came out of publication based
in New York city. What kind of shape was that city in
during the late 60’s and early 70’s. That has been the
theme ever since. Ever since Birmingham and the
civil rights march, we have the media’s stereotypical characterization of the South. History shows that the
riots regarding bussing occurred in Detroit, Cleveland,
Boston, and L.A. The previous police brutality incident
that made national headlines was in Staten Island in
New York city. Now, we have a demonstrable case of
police brutality (criminality) that occurred in Minneapolis,
MN. It isn’t covered in the news media the same, is it?

      16. It is pretty impossible to say anything or do anything that would surprise me at this point.

The Pentagon sent a drone to fly over Minneapolis that flew in a hexagon pattern and then left.

I don’t know why. Maybe a gang sign from the gang CRIPS, whoch stands for Community Reorganization In Progress, that they will be covered, 6 and the star of David are symbols for this gang, which is America’s largest gang. Their gang colors are the colors of the Israeli flag, the same blue and white, which is a very unusual choice for what supposedly originated as an L.A. black street gang.

Who would be surprised if they are funded by the banks, Pentagon, or Mossad at this point?

Now BLM protestors have been setting fire to stores and gas stations.

Many in the financial community have been saying that FAANGS is out, and FIRE ( financials, insurance, real estate, ) are in.

This has moved beyond protesting and into terrorism. If terrorism is involved, it is hard to believe that the banks, corporations, military, and governments are not involved.

Is it just a coincidence that no federal reserve member banks or city halls were set ablaze? There are Federal Reserve branches in Minnesota and New York where protests have taken over.

Crowns are also gang symbols for The Bloods and The Latin Kings.

Corona means crown in spanish. It is a very strange name to give to a virus, supposedly because the points resemble a crown, but, the polio virus and rhinovirus also do, so it just seems really wierd to name it the coronavirus. The name appears to be a psy-op. To who? Rothschilds have a crown in their coat of arms, and their symbols are a red rose and a lion. Obviously, the Saudi Royal family is extremely powerful. The British royal family is pretty quiet in the spot light, but I don’t know what goes on behind the scenes. Rothschilds also are heavily invested in Rockefeller entities. We have been hearing a great deal about empire, rather than dynasty, kingdom, or colonization, so there is a very deliberate scheme taking place. Usually, empire is associated with Rome for most people, I
think. Although there was the Ottoman empire also.

Is this coronavirus all about gang wars led by the bankers, corporations, military, and government?

It would not surprise me at this point. Nothing would that is capable of happening within the laws of nature, physics, chemistry.

If I suddenly started to levitate, that would surprise me.

      17. The police kill a man for supposedly passing a funny twenty when the crooks at the top are knocking it out by the trillions.

        • DC crooks putting out by the trillions. unreal for sure!
but ya know what else is really curious to me? counterfeiting is a federal crime. Secret Service or FBI (?) handles investigation of such.
that alone would give feral government a valid reason to pile in/on mpls. that city cop killed suspect of a federal crime before they could interview him. one would think the feds would be rolling over city hall on that fact alone

      18. The cops are clearly culpable in the death of this guy Floyd, and deserve to be punished. But here is a few statistics collected by the Fed. gov’t (they can easily be found on-line) that will show the real situation in the US. As of 2013, blacks murder whites at a rate of about 14 to 1 over whites. Rape is even worse, almost 100 to 1 over whites. About 91% of murdered blacks in the US are committed by other blacks. Black males aged 15 to 35 comprise about 3 % of the American population but commit 53 % of all murders. If the minority component of the American population was removed, the murder rate in the US would lower than Belgium. You won’t here these statistics in the MSM.

        • Same in Europe: crime soared every time another wave of blacks moved in. The first wave was in the 50s, then the 70s, then bigger and bigger waves from the 1990s until a huge influx after 2000.

Europe’s cities all have the same problem of street crime, drug dealing and terrorism from these groups.

Interestingly, there is a caucus in Congress that actually pushes this agenda because Europe is “too white”.

      19. The county I live in is very peaceful and safe, almost zero crime at all. Visitors tell us they envy our friendliness and quality of life. However, the average citizen in my county is well armed, and I mean very well armed. If these “protesters”, and skin color is not a factor, came to my neighborhood with their violence, arson, and looting I suspect it would not go well for them in quick order.

      20. The biggest fallacy of Black Lives Matter is that ‘black lives matter’. The biggest killer of blacks is blacks. The stats show it as does lived experience.

The reality is Black Lives Matter is a racist supremacist movement that places black people above other races and demands special treatment and money to be kept for free on welfare benefits and privileged access to jobs. Call it what it is.

      21. The FDA is concerned with preventing any poisonous or toxic elements from creeping into our food supply. Perhaps they could give us a few pointers on how to prevent certain “elements” from creeping into American society. My husband thinks Montana would be a good quarantine location for those “elements” who are already here. It stands for “Move-Our-Ns-To-A-Northern-Area” (sincere apologies to those good law-abiding natives of the Treasure State).

        • WestVirginiaHills, I understand the ire toward those that destroy our civilization. It’s good to see you recognize that not-all-folks-of-any-single-ethnic-group are bad. On the other side of the country we have snowflake, Antifa “Ns” that should be moved further to the west and dropped in the ocean. This small percentage of our population should be HARSHLY dealt with. Molly-coddling these temper-tantrum-subversives results in more of their bad behavior. Look at the actions of that idiot mayor of Seattle and know that politically-correct-governance does not work. Wake the hell up honest Seattle CITIZENS. Semper Fidelis.

      22. I’m probably wrong as usual ( and I hope to god I am ), when / if Trump wins the general election this fall, you’ll really see s–t hitting the fan big time, worse than before. like I said before, I hope I’m wrong.
