A group of hard-left agitators affiliated with the Black Lives Matter movement disrupted a free speech event put on by the American Civil Liberties Union at the College of William & Mary, rushing the stage and preventing the guest from even speaking while chanting Antifa like slogans about how bad the country is and the need to shut down free speech once and for all.
The ACLU’s Claire Gastañaga was at the college to speak on the subject of “Students and the First Amendment” but shortly after taking the stage she was overrun with BLM protesters who made it clear they were there to do one thing – shut down free speech completely.
As Reason Magazine reported, the disruption was livestreamed and documented a variety of different shocking statements made by the group that paint a clear picture of who the people on the hard-left really are as well as what they seem to be willing to do to achieve their goals.
The agitators began to chant “ACLU, you protect Hitler too,” in apparent reference to the ACLU’s continued stance on protecting all Americans right to free speech, including idiot white supremacists.
“Shame, shame, shame,” they continued before then making a series of chants that should shock any decent American who supports our system of government.
In what could easily be interpreted as meaning that the protesters were willing to break other Americans Constitutional rights as long as it achieved their own goals, the group shouted, “the revolution will not uphold the Constitution.”
This went on for nearly 20 minutes. Eventually, according to the campus’s Flat Hat News, one of the college’s co-organizers of the event handed a microphone to the protest’s leader, who delivered a prepared statement. The disruption was apparently payback for the ACLU’s principled First Amendment defense of the Charlottesville alt-right’s civil liberties.
Organizers then canceled the event; some members of the audience approached the podium in an attempt to speak with Gastañaga, but the protesters would not permit it. They surrounded Gastañaga, raised their voices even louder, and drove everybody else away.
After news of the disruption began to gain traction on social media, the college issued a statement that amazingly stood up for free speech but in a very “tepid” manner.
William & Mary has a powerful commitment to the free play of ideas. We have a campus where respectful dialogue, especially in disagreement, is encouraged so that we can listen and learn from views that differ from our own, so that we can freely express our own views, and so that debate can occur. Unfortunately, that type of exchange was unable to take place Wednesday night when an event to discuss a very important matter – the meaning of the First Amendment — could not be held as planned. …
Silencing certain voices in order to advance the cause of others is not acceptable in our community. This stifles debate and prevents those who’ve come to hear a speaker, our students in particular, from asking questions, often hard questions, and from engaging in debate where the strength of ideas, not the power of shouting, is the currency. William & Mary must be a campus that welcomes difficult conversations, honest debate and civil dialogue.
That’s right, Black Lives Matter, which is supported by Antifa groups across the country (as well as the mainstream media for that matter), has openly admitted that they are fighting AGAINST free speech and other Constitutionally protected rights, even if it means targeting groups they would normally ally with.
Amazingly, the agitators even claimed that liberalism itself is white supremacy which seems to indicate that these hard-left groups that have popped up across the country are truly against any American who supports the current capitalist system, regardless of political stance.
Of course they are opposed to everything mentioned here. They can call themselves whatever they want, but the fact is they are nothing more than Neo-Bolsheviks. And we all know what the original Bolsheviks were all about. As for the Constitution, the entire thing can be negated today and it would not matter one bit. All it does is merely codify on paper every human being’s God given rights. So Constitution or not, the millions upon millions of firearms already in private hands are going nowhere. Ever. 2.5 billion DHS bullets will never change that. So, that said, the essence of the Constitution is here to stay. The true and original Second Amendment was written about 1800 years or so prior to the one in the Bill of Rights:

Jesus NEVER advocated violence against anyone – that is totally against who He is and what He represents. The events in the Garden of Gethsemane and the commands of Jesus there teach the Apostles nonaggression, so Luke 22:36 does not permit violence. He said to Peter: “For all who draw the sword will die by the sword” (Matt. 26:52). Peter and the others heard those words that clarify the use of swords. Therefore, a lifestyle of the sword must not be part of the disciples’ new walk with the resurrected Christ, as they preached his message of hope.

When read with Matthew 26, both Mark 14 and Luke 22 must be understood in the context of “Put up again thy sword into its place: for all that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” (Mt 26:52) Jesus is indeed allowing defense of innocent life and even property, but He calls for restraint. Even knowing of his Passion and Crucifixion to come, Jesus stopped the swordplay.
Indeed let us not disarm, but Christ-like restraint demands that we not strike the first blow.

the context in which Jesus is speaking, Luke 22:21-39.
He is discussing betrayal, the worldly desire to be the greatest, the coming violence and His crucifixion.
Jesus says: v.26 But ye shall not be so…
v.27 serving, to act as a deacon (see the Greek)
v.28 His temptations, being put to a proving (see the Greek)
Jesus is telling them AND US by precept, that to belong to Him is to follow after Him.
v.32-34 Satan is after Peter as well as us But Jesus prays for Peter as well as us. NOTE-He doesn’t pray that we take up a weapon and use it to kill anyone.
He prays that our faith be strengthened. He knows without a strong faith in Him and what He teaches we will fail, just as Peter did.
Pay attention to what Jesus is saying.
His example of His strength in v.35 We as well as the disciples can go about w/o anything, relying on Him for our protection. Just as the disciples did and were protected.
His warning v.37 we will experience violence
v.38 This is intended only to show that the times would be very perilous. Two swords among 12 men are enough to defeat what was coming???? When even Jesus intimated He would need twelve legions of angels. (Matt 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. v.53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?)
Yet two swords are sufficient for those who need NONE, having God himself to be their shield.
This is in agreement with any other scripture in the New Test. The Bible interprets itself.
I would challenge you to find any New Test scripture that teaches a CHRISTian, one who follows Christ’s teachings, is to take up a literal sword (AR-15).
Context is everything, especially where the Bible is concerned.
Let the Bible say what it says, not what you want it to say.

He is explaining to His disciples that He is no longer going to be with them, here on earth.
When He was with them, here on earth, they had their every need met.
When He leaves, perilous times will come.
Jesus example, to sell all and buy a sword is a way of telling them just how bad those perilous times will be. But note the follow through thought–what are two swords in the face of what is coming. Useless. It won’t even do them any good.
That is the reality of the situation Jesus is presenting to them.
The disciples must now expect that their enemies would be more fierce upon them than they had been.
Yet Jesus nowhere here, or anywhere, gives them permission or instruction to use a physical sword to kill the enemies that WILL come upon them.
It is only an example of uselessness (buying weapons) in the face of His crucifixion and their coming persecution.
In order for them to have victory, they must have faith in Him-NOT A SWORD (AR). He, Jesus, is praying for them to have this great faith in HIM.
They don’t need anymore than two swords because they won’t have need of ANY sword when their faith is in Jesus, just as it was when He sent them out the first time with nothing.

I have worked across Africa and have conversations with many angry African Americans. Democracy is not what they want; what they want is to live with their ‘sistas’ and live black. Blacks know their natural state is tribal and they end up killing each other. This means they need an authoritarian leader to keep them in line: a new African king. Some sort of pot-bellied Big Man with 10 wives and 50 kids. The secret is to carve out some territory for them and leave it at that. Put a fence around it, only allow flights to Africa and call it a day.
You could have a visa program for the smart ones to get to work in the American Free State but they would have to have a clean criminal record and behave themselves. I remember reading an article about muggings in large cities. They were epidemic in those days, until people switched to credit cards and stopped carrying lots of cash for the week. Since most people were paid on Thursday your probability of being mugged was highest Friday to Monday.
If you ran into a mugger who was unarmed you stood a 95% chance of being severely injured, because the mugger needed to establish authority immediately. Often they would inflict severe injury or even kill their victims,
Next most dangerous was muggers with knives. You stood about a 50% chance of being stabbed or slashed. Again the mugger needed to establish authority over their victims. Knife wounds actually are fatal much more often than gun shots. You were most likely to die if your mugger had a knife.
Last was muggers with guns, turns out you were the safest if your mugger was packing iron, they only shot without provocation in 5% of the incidents, only 15% of victims were injured. Deaths were actually lower than muggers with knives or even no weapon. Turns out guns provided them with a sense of security that reduced actual violence.
Last point, it turns out guns are really lousy at killing. Less than 20% of gunshot victims die, but 60% of stabbing victims die. Be careful around knives.
