There are plenty of things happening up to the minute that are very serious. This list is not comprehensive, but meant to give you an overview of some of the things that have been put into place and a basic framework/timetable to use in your planning.
- August 16, 2016 – The CDC Rule “Control of Communicable Diseases” was published in the Federal Register [Federal Register Number: 2016-18103]. In this regulation the CDC empowers itself to apprehend and detain a person or many people to stop an epidemic, even before signs and symptoms appear. Source: article by Catherine J. - August 31, 2016 – Tyler Durden of Zero Hedge reports the fall (bankruptcy) of Hanjin, the 7th largest container shipping firm in the world, with supply chain disruption just beginning to make a ripple effect. - September 3, 2016 – G-20 summit in China, Obama signs the U.S. on to the Climate Change agenda; documents are given to the UN with a U.S. commitment to reduce greenhouse gases and regulate all pollutant-producing industries prior to the end of 2016.
- September 3, 2016 – In an interview conducted by Rick Wiles, with Bill Holter comes the report by Holter that Jim Rickards, former CIA operative said the “dollar dies on September 30, 2016 at 4:00 pm. (link)
- September 5, 2016: An article circulates that the website Behold A Pale Horse report from July 5th that Obama had told the Washington Post “Americans would be better living under Martial Law.” (link)
- September 6, 2016 – North Korea lobs three more missiles toward Japan; Japan’s missile defense system ineffective, and the North Korean missiles are multiple-stage prototypes for ICBM’s.
- September 6, 2016 – Stefan Stanford of All News Pipeline releases a detailed, comprehensive report on the 2017 Winter Forecast, along with an e-mail from an active Law Enforcement Officer with a military contracting background and a dire warning of a bio-weapon and the collapse of the U.S. dollar being imminent, setting the stage for a freezing winter with a collapse and a tremendous civilian die-off. - September 8, 2016 As of this writing: Russian troop exercises and buildups occur on the eastern border of Ukraine; the U.S. and Russia still have not come to an agreement on how to conduct operations regarding Syria; Turkey continues its offensive in Syria; Iran continues to “buzz” the U.S. Navy warships, with the Navy responding with warning shots.
- September 9 through September 12, 2016 – the annual Muslim “Hajj” ceremony will take place
- September 11, 2016 – the 15-year anniversary of the destruction of the Twin Towers and 9/11.
- September 15, 2016 – the one-month date the aforementioned CDC regulation has been published in the Federal Register
- September 30, 2016 – The “Deadline for the Dollar” aforementioned by Jim Rickards.
- October 1, 2016 – The Internet officially handed off by Obama via the Commerce Department to ICANN, an organization to regulate the Internet primarily by Russian and Chinese government officials.
- November 6 through November 7, 2016 ? U.S. Election: “To Be or Not to Be: that is the question.”
This is a ton of information and events, and none of it should be taken lightly. In such a vein, Equorial was the one who provided me with the food for thought of this piece. He mentioned that election time might be a good time for everyone to consider taking a hotel/motel room somewhere off the beaten path/away from major metropolitan areas or centers of potential trouble. I consider this an excellent idea, and wish to expound upon it with this for starters.
How about renting a cabin for you and your family for 3-7 days in a remote area during the period encompassing the election?
I wish to state this would be perfect for those in an urban/heavy suburban area without a definitive “bug out” location for either a residence or a fallback location. This is the off-season, in which the prices would be considerably cheaper, now that the kids are back in school and summer is over. You could take your supplies and materials, all of your gear and essentials, lock up the apartment/house, and head to the cabin.
If the election doesn’t occur because of Obama and a martial law-type scenario with riots and such, or if it does with the aforementioned components…you and your family may stand a better chance out of the area of the majority of destructive events. I mention the cabin; however, be advised there are some small, remote towns with cheap motel rooms during the off-season that could be used in the same manner.
If nothing goes wrong: then it’s a good opportunity for you and the family to get away and practice your emergency procedures, do some training, and enjoy the great outdoors together. You’ll all be in a better position whether it hits the fan or not, and something positive could be derived from it. Another back-up to this plan would be to make arrangements to stay with a remote friend or relatives. Be honest with them: tell them the reasons behind it. In this manner you’re up front with them and they’ll be on board with the plan. It also saves you from an “eviction notice,” that could turn ugly very quickly.
The whole plan, of course, assumes that we make it as far as the election with everything that is going on right now. The whole point is to keep abreast of the things that are happening and plan accordingly to do the best you can with what you have and within your means. Organization and planning will take away a lot of the guesswork to where your actions become reflexive when all of the details are ironed out. You’re right Marcus, my apologies. I have read a lot of johnsons articles and being familiar with some of the things he makes claim to about himself, I call him a fraud. He wrote an article about a particular experience and I wasn’t the only one who caught him In that lie. Many of his articles are loaded with fear porn and I swear he’s having an affair with Vladimir Putin. I don’t talk much about what I’ve done or know or what I have, but I know a little about SOCOM ops and he is a liar. I take it personal when I read his stuff, and knowing what I do, I know he is a fraud. My apologies if I offended you.

I am at that point too. I can’t afford to do much so far as getting out of the suburbs and all though, so I do not have the luxury of leaving if it all goes to hell. Still, I am tired of being afraid of what is to come and so I have adopted an attitude of reacting to what happens instead of what I think will happen. I keep a bag of supplies in my car and am rarely ever more than 10 miles from home, or about a 2 hour walk. The most important thing though is that I carry knowledge with me in my head that can be used in a variety of situations. In the end, that may well be all that most of us can do since we also need to live our regular lives in order to not trigger personal SHTF moments every time we hear someone say that something may happen.
GS, that is the best plan I’ve seen in awhile.

We had “global warming” because the earth cycles between ice ages. We peeked and reached the mid point which is why it got hot. (TPTB took advantage of our ignorance to frighten and control us with a bogus lie that we caused “global warming”.) Now things will cool until eventually we go into an ice age. Perhaps the desert will bloom.
But no doubt TPTB are preparing for the future cold and ice. Their underground fortresses will be shelter. When they emerge from time to time, they will be dressed in Artic suits. Under which will probably be alpaca long johns and gloves and an Alpaca skull cap. Unless there is something better out there I’m not aware of yet.

I conjecture the singularity will be well before the November 8th date. Folks not already at their BOL are likely to be SOL. I’m working like crazy to get all the field pea dry pods picked, shelled, and in 1/2 gallon jars and pump out most all the air. No insect problems with no oxygen. Got all the popcorn and corn up already. We’ve a mechanical pea sheller and corn sheller. We will eat well regardless…
To prevent insect problems in seeds, sprinkle in a little snuff. For food items, just rinse before use.
We have a large stockpile of empty snuff containers for seed storage. There’s enough snuff still remaining to kill bugs.
Martin Armstrong called Oct of last year. Nothing happened. Who the hell knows. BUT, I do feel that something is brewing now stronger than any other time in my mind than ever before. I see/feel the tensions out in the public. Road rages are up, people are coming unglued and are becoming dangerous IMO. Be careful out among “regular” citizens. People on both sides of things are pissed for different reasons and the tension is palpable. Also be careful turning your back on anyone. It’s getting real out there. Significant changes seem to be taking place every day now.

It’s not only that 3 to 7 day election window you need to keep an eye on; it’s the entire lame duck window from Election Day all the way up to Inauguration Day.
My best guess is that if they don’t break the glass on a “break glass in case of emergency” black swan in the days leading up to the election, they’ll let the election run its course. Hillary would get blown out big, then they’ll break the glass during the lame duck window. In my opinion, the most likely scenario will see Deutsche Bank/Italian banks blow up and take everyone else with them, somewhere around the second or third week of December.
Trigger the black swan too close to the election, then people may actually take their heads out of their asses and make the connection: Obama never really intended to leave office 01/20/17, and he needs something major to invoke Article 4 Section 4, or to declare a state of national emergency. One thing is for certain: events in this country are starting to line up very favorably for Obama to do exactly what I said.

Just something to think about I have always had a mechanical can opener never owned an electric one but I recently hurt one of my hands at work and I have never thought about it but it’s kind of hard to open canned goods with one hand.

This is one of the first articles to mention the “Hanjin” bankruptcy, which is really a huge thing. This South Korean shipper going under has resulted in 19 billion in goods ending up in limbo. This is how fragile the global free trade system is. The dry goods index is so low shippers can’t make money anymore.
People can expect the shelves to be a little light this Christmas. There will be shortages of certain Asian products. As well raw material on the way to Asia aren’t showing up. This has the potential to snowball, as companies with too much debt caught with shipments in limbo may not be able to financially continue if delays and losses are too high. This is also the primary pipeline time for American Holiday shopping. The suppliers who’s goods are in limbo usually go heavy into debt to make quotas. Who are the insurers? Who are the store chains? Who are the bankers, who are the manufacturers.
The G-20 global warming treaty Obama signed over Labor Day will put a lot more Americans out of work. Globalist corporations will just shift production overseas. US based companies will be crushed. If memory serves, I believe a UN treaty like this does not need Senate ratification. So it’s a done deal.

It’s pretty clear that this Internet’s days are numbered. After the Internet is no longer available for free usage by those who would sound the alarm against tyranny, everything the people have learned from it will have to stay in their minds. The CDC can cook up many excuses for rounding people up. The people will have to regard ANY attempt by government to “detain” (capture) them as an immediate, clear and present act of war, to be defended against and repulsed by any means available. Contagion can be fought with fire.
They can look you up and hunt you down, if you own or rent anything. They can GPS you if your phone, car or other electronic dependence is still powered and pinging your location to them.
