The Next Round of Stimulus Will Shock You: “Prepare For Chaos”

    economy-stimulus2

We are living under a fiat currency system. Essentially, currency supply comes into existence as debt or credit that must be repaid. The more our society grows, the more currency we need and the more debt we issue.

    stimulus1

This allows for tremendous opportunities, but not for everyone. In fact, the little guy gets the short end of the stick every time.

    Economic Cycles

The concept I am about to share with you will impact your decisions going forward. Economies work in cycles, and are affected by two main factors – productivity and debt. When economies are prospering, incomes rise, individuals and businesses borrow in order to enhance their growth, and the currency supply is increased. This, in turn, raises asset prices, creating a “wealth effect” – everything you own is priced higher. Everyone feels great. This is an exciting time for individuals who capitalize on the situation and are able to increase their financial situation and avoid debt. At some point, debt from new loans to buy houses, cars, education, vacations, credit cards, and business loans exceeds the rate of productivity. Debt increases at a faster rate than incomes rise, and the cycle reverses.

stimulus2Now, the economy is de-leveraging, and debts have to be repaid, so people sell assets that they own to pay back what they owe. Prices of all assets diminish, creating a contraction in the economy. This is a rough time, and could be catastrophic if not managed correctly. In 2008, the debt levels reached the peak of the cycle, and we began to reverse, but central bankers, along with government officials, weren’t about to allow the entire debt system to collapse. Instead, what they seek to create are enough new currency units, by issuing new debt, to replace old debts that are being repaid. This is what a stimulus is all about. By issuing new debt, they hope banks would loan to individuals and businesses, and the debt cycle reverses back to “growth.” They began by lowering interest rates to historically-low levels. This was designed to entice us to borrow at attractive rates. When that stopped making a difference and the economy kept contracting, they created Quantitative Easing, which is new debt issued by the Federal Reserve in exchange of government bonds, which then circulate to government contractors and the general economy, until it reaches the private sector. It was working in the short-term, but mostly the institutions were enjoying the benefits, since this cheap credit reached them before it reached you and me.

Now this monetary policy is fading away, and the cycle still isn’t reversing. This system works fine, until productivity rises slower than debt, and then the incomes we produce can’t cover our borrowing as a whole. The governments and central banks are eager to help create new jobs and increase the spending of the private sector. They can’t lower interest rates anymore, and they can’t issue new debts on the government level through QE, so what’s on their mind?

Creativity is a wild human adventure. Throughout the centuries, we have managed to do very imaginative things with the right purpose at heart, but with insufficient data to back that up.

    Price Control

A classic example is trying to control prices. During many crisis situations, the governments, in their attempt to allow the poor the ability to buy bread, cap the price of it. Bread makers can’t make a profit at low prices, thus they halt production, while demand is highest, and a black market arises with free market pricing, which the poor can’t afford at all. So, you see, the old proverb is right: “The way to hell is paved with good intentions”

While I can’t predict what central bankers will do, I can assume, using the past as my guide, that a good-purposed “imaginative stimulus” is about to commence, and this option will shock you.

If giving credit to governments in order for the funds to make their way into the private sector didn’t increase spending,we might be on the verge of an era where money will be given directly to citizens to spend as they see fit. Yes, get ready to open your checking account in the morning and see that the grocery bill, mortgage payment, or car loan payment are taken care of, courtesy of Uncle Sam. If you think this is far-fetched, think again – it’s already being discussed by think tanks of the large international institutions, like the IMF, World Bank, and the G-7. This stimulus is dangerous in so many aspects, and is inherently highly inflationary.

What is very unique about the economy today is that the massive, newly-created debt didn’t materialize to inflation yet. Every person who gets a 5-minute explanation of inflation would reason that it should have been here by now, yet deflation is a stronger force.

    stimulus3

Remember, inflation is the result of new debt, coupled with spending. Today, we are closing matured debt, issuing new debt instead, and the people are saving instead of borrowing.  This is a major concern for central banks, and they are certainly out of conventional options. “We are in uncharted territory,” as Madame Lagarde told Davos World Economic Forum attendees just a few months ago. And if the person in charge of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is in awe of the situation, imagine the consequences.

If central planners pull the trigger on the next stimulus policy, we will be swimming in new debt, and if they don’t, we will be drowning in deflationary trouble. Either way, prepare for chaos.

In order to prepare to thrive from this chaos, we have created an entire manual.

It details everything you need to know as your first step towards crisis investing mastery.
It is called Crisis Hedges. Apply it immediately.

I am heading to Texas. Currently in Tennessee. Will leave shortly and be in Arkansas in a couple hours. Have to see my son before he is deployed to Lithuania. I picked a heck of a day to leave. Same day as Brexit. Heh at least I am on vacation.

              • We are returning to Tennessee today. Been in Iowa. Have a safe trip.

          • Opsec…

        • No “collapse”. Markets will stabilize lower and that is a good thing. “Choppy” is the “secret” word.

Greece will see that Britannia survived and it will likely exit too and replace the euro with the drachma.

          France will NOT exit. 🙂

          • I will enter into the record for the “archives”. That if Marine Le Pen becomes President of France…there will be a successful Frexit.
Just for the record DK….you know…gotta have an opposing view . As lazy as the French are., they can’t continue with extreme taxation, reduced work weeks, ragheads causing them to prematurely ejaculate out of fear. The French used to be a reasonably respected people in the 20th century…now have become of bunch of SJW cultist…strike for this…strike for that. It’s too bad…Maurice Chevalier used to sing a song that has now hit number one on the Islamic billboard…Thank Heaven for little girls…

We see the “Regressive” effect of their social engineering and time and time again. We see how destructive it is to the human condition. We have so much evidence of this especially when you witness one of the most vibrant cities in this country in the 50’s turns into a violent shithole by non other than a freaking dipshit communist….Detroit is that city and Coleman Young is that bitch .We had Cabrini Green.,the socialist answer of how much we care for our plantation dwellers. Now we have yet again, the same insanity repackaged for ILLEGAL FUCKING ALIENS…CHECK. IT OUT

                • I’ll help you friend!

          • We’ll see about that. Deutchbank is a hair’s breath from imploding, and it is twice as big as Lehman and Bear Sterns combined. What’s coming in the next two years is going to make 2008/2009 look like a minor hickup. I bought another monster box on Thursday.

Mark my words, MONDAY WILL PROBABLY BE A BLOODBATH for the world markets.

            • Yeah, like this article, I’ve heard it before, again, and again, and again. NEVER happens. Good thing your not a prophet!! You’d be sent out of the tribe, with stones! Lol.

              • don’t be so hard on the poor guy. predictions can be problematic, you know….especially the part about the future. it IS happening, while we type. just keep preppin’ and be thankful you got enough warning to prepare for this muhfugguh.

        • Captain Crunch I’m in SW Wyoming. We make it to the big “SLC” for doctors appointments and Costco. One of my chosen bug out areas is probably very near you.

          • Still haven’t seen the bodies

            • Or the ambulances.

            • My first thought when seeing a news helicopter view was, where are all the cars the dead and injured came in as the parking lot looked pretty empty.

          • Acid, I’m not so sure that article you posted proves much.
So the cops were told to stand down…only a small part of the fraud.

          • Here’s my take….definitely a false flag. Why? Numerous RECENT complaints directly to FBI not followed up. Now leaked reports that FBI found no evidence of this guy being gay, so begs the question, why all these ‘witness reports he was gay, and possible love triangle’ to try to muddy the waters. FBI investigation now classified.

I think they thought this wild backfire on trump, muss got the establishment running scared.

            • Hate autocorrect. Would backfire and trump has.

            • Why?? you ask? To try to get the bill passed to take away our guns!! Duh? Of course it wouldn’t happen. The government won’t fight the “too many to count” people who would fight it with a REVOLUTION!! There not ready for that!

        • very jealous, heat index is going to be probably 105 here today.

congrats on the locale, that’s a good one. i’m eyeing the suburbs of Manchester, new Hampshire myself. more threats from people but if you have enough guns and ammo that should not be a problem and plenty of food and purifiable in nearby lakes to get you by for a long time.

          • you want to go north past Concord NH…..Stay well clear of Manchester. I live in the Lakes Region myself.

            • Manchester in the UK is best avoided too, along with many other heavily Islamic influenced areas such as London, Blackburn, Luton, Birmingham, Dewsbury and Bradford. Far too many Muslim immigrants in these areas acting as though their retarded religion was the rule of the land. Time the UK got around to putting the trash out! Take Back Control.

          • Agreed. Start heading up 89 toward Vermont, then go North through Claremont, Hanover, etc. Nice areas, good solid people. There isn’t much work up that way, though. That, and family ties are keeping me in southern Mass.

        • CC,

Congratulations! We went through Bryce Canyon area and Zion NP recently and also spent a day in the Rockies, up to 12005 feet! Fantastic country! I think I would have a hard time surviving with the family if the SHTF and I was living up there. I saw some animals but I don’t think they will last long enough to feed very many families. They will become harder to hunt with time. Water was scarce in much of the Western states. Fishing is dependent on the ability of fisheries to stock the lakes and the rivers. We travelled up the Columbia river down the Snake river, and saw the headwaters of the Missouri and the Colorado rivers. We crossed the Mississippi on I 80. We are in beautiful Corn and Wheat country. America is surely a blessed country but… has turned it’s back on the One from whom all blessings flow and followed after many false gods. Hope to be back home by tomorrow evening. We still have ‘miles to go before we sleep’ in our own nest back in the Bayous.

Louisiana Eagle on the road, awake, alert, and oriented thanks to Mac and all the good friends at this site. I see hope that cataclysmic changes on the horizon will not be totally devastating. My mother always said, “If (where) there is life, there is hope!” Keep prepping!

          • Travel safe man

            • Thanks!

It has been a wonderful and interesting trip. I wish I had been able to meet and talk with some of you but it was not to be. I was able to check on immediate family scattered across the country. Let’s keep the faith, keep praying, keep prepping, rotate our preps, refine/replenish our supplies, reach out and form communities of like minded people/friends. We have a long road ahead today. God bless everyone!

              • Hi la. Isn’t Iowa beautiful this time of year. corn is high and green.

        • I miss the good ole days when a man could kill his dinner….with his car.

          • JS

Road kill. Hmmmmmm? There’s something about it. ;0)

            • Worked with a guy that was driving to work and watches a woman hit a deer. The deer at the last second put his head down so as to head butt the car and bounced. It looked like clean kill to him from head trauma, no body damage to spoil the meat.

He figures he can get it home, call in a half day, clean butcher it and be back to work for lunch. The woman is so distraught, he stops consoles her and says he’ll take care of the deer. He tosses into the back of his hatch back and is about a block from his house when the deer starts to come to. Oops.

Let me tell you, deer do not like hatch backs, there were antlers flailing, hoofs flying, and this sucker was about a five point buck. He was lucky he had a head rest so he didn’t get kicked in the head. He pulls into the driveway and runs for the German Luger his dad brought home from WW2. He runs back to the car opens the hatchback, trying for a head shot, the deer seems to be able to anticipate him like he was some kind of bullet dodging ninja. He got him on the fifth shot!

Hearing the sound of air escaping a tire, he drags the deer around back and butchers it. Looks at the car and calls in sick for the day. Drives the car to the shop and rents a car until it’s fixed. He needs a back window, new head liner, tire, and numerous holes plugged, plus a lot of blood, freaking blood everywhere. It looked like a honor move had been filmed in the back of his car.

He now has a freezer full of the most expensive meat he ever bought and paid for.

              • Horror movie, not honor

                • hell, i thought you meant WHORE movie…..are you SURE it’s horror?….awww SHIT!….i wrote that out loud, didn’t I. it’s a slooow day.

        • CC where I live, for atleast 6 months of the year at 9500 feet, there would be no roads in and no roads out, unless you we’re right on the Hwy. had a snowmobile or snowshoes. I was up on an old logging road at 9000ft. today deep in the mountains and the temp was 54 deg. and the MissSkeetoes were horrendous. So if anyone bugs out to the Mts. better bring lots of deet. Trekker Out. And A Jacket!

          • Excellent point. We were camping in the Tetons and found that out very quickly. Fortunately we were able to get spray and candles to ward off the mosquitoes. Same goes for the bayou country back in Louisiana.

      2. A few articles I told Sgt to get out of IL because of State Taxes, and Property Taxes. Get out of States that are going Bankrupt, Residences will bail these failing states out. Welcome to the Slave State: Here is an article:

        News Link • TAXES: State
Frustrated Illinois Taxpayers Pay Property Tax With $1 Bills
        06-24-2016 • thedailyliberator.com
However when McGrath was told that taxes would go up another 26% this year and nobody could provide any explanation for it, he had enough, and decided that a statement needed to be made.

That statement, as it turns out, was to pay the first installment of his commercial and residential property taxes in single dollar bills. McGrath said that by doing so, perhaps someone would relay that to the tax assessor that people are not happy about what’s taking place.

I built my house in 1999, here in Woodstock inside the city limits. The first hint I got was a $13,000 permit fee so that we could even start building. The taxes in the first year and the second year were like $2,500 a year and then seventeen years later, this year they jumped 26%, and I’m at $11,600 a year, and no one can explain why. Why 26% in one year, I didn’t change anything, I didn’t build anything, I didn’t add anything, it’s just out of control.”

“Out of frustration, I said that because the tax bill jumped like that for no explanation then I’m going to pay it in single dollar bills. I would like to pay it in change but they don’t accept that. I started gathering up singles, and a lot of them, the first installment for my commercial property and my residential was almost $16,000 in singles. The company, I gave them $9,995 singles because the accountant advised not to go over $10,000 because you’ll draw an IRS tax notice, so they got $9,995 in singles and then they got a check for the difference. And my residential property I gave them all singles for that as well.”

WWTI.. Get yourself positioned out of these Bankrupt states, as not to take these assaults on your future financial freedoms. Move to a state that has no income taxes. They are out there.

        • Excellent post, wwti, scary to think of where one lives makes a difference.
Sgt is outside of Shitcago, but who knows how far the choas will expand to.
          Be well sir…

        • I moved from the shitty state if Illinois 2 years ago to Missouri. In Illinois my house was on a 50×150 lot 1870 sq ft. I paid 3200.00 a year and my neighborhood was not all that . As the prices on homes dropped taxes increased . That was in East Peoria . Hated to have to get permission to do anything. Now I’m in the Ozarks with 2.5 acres surrounded by 3500 acres of national Forrest and pay 25.97 . My monthly expenses is less than 700.00 dollars.Open carry here is normal . It’s a 100.00 dollars for ccw in my county. Almost completely white so No chimpouts here cause their ass’s would be shot. The piece of shit Governor who we have now has showed Missourians to never vote blue again . Just bought a suppressor for two of my weapons cause they are legal here and even hunt with . Just gonna be a minimum of about six months before tax stamp approval. We got Constitutional carry gonna come into effect by fall .We are definitely in the top 5 states that are pro 2 nd . Last I might add that seatbelt tickets are like 15.00 and they have to have a different reason to stop you .

          • Riverside, Cook County, Illinois. Property taxes start at $10,000 for a modest home. A friend of mine had a nice place, $20,000 per year real estate taxes. He’s in Wisconsin now.

          • we have been thinking about the Ozarks we live in southeast ar. wondering about prices in and around that area. is land priced very high in the Ozarks??

          • There is no such thing as safe area inside of US.
Missouri, New Madrid, by the way, is the area they have in cross-hair.
I bet you never looked at the future Navy Map of US.
The only safe area is Asia.

        • Sorry, but there is almost no where to go to escape debts problems unless you happen to live in a debt surplus state and debt surplus town; but that’s probably less than 1% of the country.

IMO, if you are 40 or under and have any assets more than a few thousand dollars that is not stored in your house; the govt is going to come and take it to keep itself afloat. at some point, it will get to this.

          • Lena,
Where to go? Here’s a list, lowest first, of the ten states with the least per capita debt. The number next to each is the incom tax rate (rounded).
            TN 6
            NE 3-6
            IN 3
            WI 4-7
            SD 0
            AZ 0
            ID 3
            FL 0
            NC 6
            VA 2-6

            There are some!

        • I also live in the People’s Socialist Thugocracy of Illinois. Can’t get out as I am caring for a very elderly mother and mentally handicapped brother that my lazy azz semi-retired socialist siblings won’t, while I work massively long hours to pay all the socialist taxes. Believe me, I want out more than you can imagine.

Oh yeah. One of the family members retired early from just a regular teaching job. Salary is public record, online. Retired making $110k/yr (hey, it’s gotta be tough working 9 months a year, going home at 4 PM, right?) and pulling in $7k/month in early retirement. No wonder my taxes out are out of sight. I’ll work til I’m 70 just to pay for these people to sit on their azzes. I’ve paid almost a quarter million in freaking property taxes alone over the years, so no wonder I will never retire. The state isn’t so bad, it’s Chitcago (any btw, where where all the Obama-esqe cries of “racism” when the white guy, Emanuel, was elected mayor over a couple minorities???) Oh right. Leftits are ignorant hypocrites.

          • TEST
You are right they do make way too much as teachers after they retire. With my pension from the P.D. and S.S. I make around 42,500.00 a year. I carried a gun and could have to give up my life or take a life. The worse most teachers got was a paper cut. I don’t begrudge any one of getting what they can get, BUT!

Also in Ill. teachers don’t pay into S.S.

            Sgt.

            • wonder what all those ill-annoying public serpents did with all the taxes they collected? you’ll be lucky to get a pension in THAT state, sarge. i hear they ARE bankrupt…except that they CAN’T file for bankruptcy in your state….what a mess.

        • My property taxes went up 14%. I did the property appraisal protest and got it reduce to 7%, but that is still bullshit.

Market values in my town are being depressed because of massive job losses at the major employers.

          • Yeah, and what’s ridiculous about these property taxes is that the more improvements you put into your house, it raises the “value”, which raises the taxes.
Do less improvements on your home = less value = less taxes. Makes no sense.
Why isn’t a good thing for people to take pride in their homes?

        • Washington state has no income tax and voters put a limit on how fast property taxes can rise. Lots of rural properties for sale in Lewis county Washington. Preppers welcome.

        • The politicians of that city are why your taxes went to 26% and the fact that all the residence of that city haven hung them yet is why this country is so fucked up

Time to get the rope out and save ourselves financially

        • Guys thanks for the concern. I consider you guys to be true friends. THANKS! This year and next with that type of hike there will be blood on the streets in Shitcago worse than there is now!

Ok I’m trying to leave. My folks are sickly. Mom COPD and Dad Alzheimer’s. Little hard to leave. But the good news is I do live about 75 miles S&W of Shitcago and my BOL is another 25 miles away. Just maybe we wont feel the pinch.

I can tell you I have ways to take care of me and mine. I also have a group of around 50 people minus kids coming to me that are like minded and very well prepared, and trained. We will move as one to the BOL.

          Sgt.

P.S. a gun shop where my brother lives was robbed by 4 blacks. Have them on Video. Couldn’t break in so they drove a car through the door. More guns for the Turds in Shitcago? Or for the Rep. & Dem. Convention? The trud from black lives don’t matter, oops I mean black lives matter said he want to have so much civil unrest at the conventions that Obullshit has to declare Martial law.

          • Always read your posts, Sgt. I have two friends, one a retired cop from the NW burbs, the other a senior IL. state trooper, now retired. Both strong conservatives, constitutionalists, and true peace officers. I am concerned about a police state, but as long as there are people like them, or you, around, it won’t happen. It’s unfortunate that we lose people like you, or them, to retirement. Who knows who/what will replace them! That’s why the Constitutional Sheriff’s Assoc. is so important. As I am a precinct committeeman in DuPage County, I asked our sheriff to join. No response, but imagine if THOUSANDS of people got off their asses and just made a simple phone call to that effect? That phrase about evil winning as good men do nothing remains so true.

            • I’ll help you TEST!

          • Sarge, hope your brother is OK. BTW, I call those turds Black CRIMINAL Lives Matter.

      3. OK, Name one Good Thing Obama did during his 8 years of Plunder.

A couple of good things for me was Obama the salesman, talking me into buying more guns and ammo. The other was me getting into Prepping and off their Grid, as anything can happen with a chump in charge. I am prepared up to a Nuclear blast on my BOL. ha. And I have a 60 day supply of Potassium Iodide just in case and a gas mask.

        How about you?

        ~WWTI…

        • “W”
Right now I have to agree with the gun sales.
Now in the future one of the good things, will be that The SOB will leave office, well maybe!!!!!!!!
          Sgt.

        • Vitamin C is probably more important than Potassium Iodide. Take Potassium Iodide right when you hear about a nuclear attack, take Vitamin C after that. Potassium Iodide protects from one element, Vitamin C cleans all the heavy metals from your body.

          • Thanks for the tip- had no idea Vitamin C was something to think about.

      4. And folks for a change, we have some really Good News:

Another Dead Banker: Hedge Fund Manager Just Committed Suicide…
        06-24-2016 • http://www.dcclothesline.com, by Piper McGowin
Bankers commit suicide in some of the strangest ways. This particular story, however, is almost as believable as that banker who supposedly shot himself eight times in the head and chest with a nail gun.

A 44-year-old hedge fund manager named Sanjay Valvani (above), who worked at Visium Asset Management LP but was formerly of Citigroup Inc.’s Salomon Smith Barney, committed suicide after being charged in a major insider trading scam last week.

According to Reuters, he was found with his throat cut in what is being reported as “an apparent suicide”:

Valvani, 44, was discovered by his wife on Monday evening in the bedroom of his Brooklyn home with a wound to his neck, a New York Police Department spokeswoman said. A suicide note and a knife were recovered, she added.

The death marked a stunning turn in one of the U.S. government’s biggest recent insider trading cases. Valvani’s lawyers, Barry Berke and Eric Tirschwell, called his death a “horrible tragedy that is difficult to comprehend.”

The charges, that he always claimed he was innocent of and which he pleaded not guilty to, involved garnering $25 million off of advanced knowledge of generic FDA drug application approvals.

If you maintained your innocence, you pleaded not guilty to all charges, and you clearly had this much money to afford a good legal team with, would you just up and commit suicide a week after you were charged by slashing your own throat?

        • As much as I despise banksters, and realize this was an outside job, I cannot condone violence other than in self-defense, or in accord with the 2nd Amendment. Maybe these bankers getting bumped off are actually trying to be whistle blowers, but getting bumped off by bad guys before they can get their news out?

The battle today is a non-violent one, that of education, information dissemination, and communication. If we can do that, and do that winsomely and well, the fascist left WILL lose. Evidence for that? Tell me this: How many forces of the Dark Side were arrayed against the Brexit?

Answer me that question, and you have your answer on why we an still stop the elites and the ignorant, vile, murderous fascist left from taking the day.

Fascist an over-reach, you say? But of course Nazi means Nazionale Sozialistische Deutsche Arbeiter Partei – Nationalist **Socialist** German Workers Party. You can google their planks, adopted Munich, Feb., 1920 easily enough – where you will find they adopted *explicitly* socialist planks – hence the name. Not that the fascist left has the intellectual honesty to do a simply google search, of course.

          • BS!! Test…That stuff you quote is not full Context of what was said about marxist etc…THIS is what He stated about Marxism and Bolshevism…HUGE difference eh. Why do you Always call out leftist Kommies and Marxists then twist that into nazis and hitler as if they too were the same?

HERES what was Stated Test! Hope it gets past moderations in Less than 24-48 hrs!

“If the Marxist teaching were to be accepted as the foundation of the life of the universe, it would lead to the disappearance of all order that is conceivable to the human mind. And thus the adoption of such a law would provoke chaos in the structure of the greatest organism that we know, with the result that the inhabitants of this earthly planet would finally disappear.

Should the Jew, with the aid of his Marxist creed, triumph over the people of this world, his Crown will be the funeral wreath of mankind, and this planet will once again follow its orbit through ether, without any human life on its surface, as it did millions of years ago. And so I believe to-day that my conduct is in accordance with the will of the Almighty Creator. In standing guard against the Jew I am defending the handiwork of the Lord.”

            – Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf

Now if You can Spin that into hitler wanted to be co-partners with REAL soviet jewdeo bolshevik Commie Marxists?….Yeah right!

          • TEST is right. The pen is mightier than the sword and the pencil for that matter… In the UK it is traditional for people to mark their ballot paper with a X using a pencil that is attached to a length of string at the ballot box. However in the recent EU referendum people were concerned that TPTB may try to erase their pencil marked crosses from the LEAVE the European Union box so decided to used a pen to mark their X instead. We’ll probably never know for sure if this has had any bearing on the outcome, but I’m friggin’ glad so many people did decide to use their own pen instead of those little pencils provided! Be well dear TEST, you’re a good man.

            • Not only that, but the leave campaign urged people to photograph their vote and the bar code on their ballot. Under UK law, that information let them track their ballots to be certain they had not been changed. I would encourage voters in the US to do something similar so that they have a record of how they cast their ballots. Perhaps then we can destroy the ability of the powers that be to Diebold us out of our elections.

        • Its what happens when they feel you should’nt have a bonafide weapon. But he finally nailed it. I just knew that when the market tanked that bankers/invester’s would be doin’ ‘Peter Pans’ off of highrises.

        • Suicide by pharma co. black ops?

        • Not too hard to slash your own throat. My cousins aunt did both sides of her neck with meat cleavers, one in each hand.

        • If you’re a Dark Side of the Moon fan, watch the concert of David Gilmour live at the Royal Albert Hall. He plays 5 or 6 different guitars. Just a great concert.

Course, Dark Side of the Moon was one of the first records I ever bought so I’m a bit prejudiced in favor of the music.

          • Jrs, look up Brit Floyd.
            Saw them last week, awesome.
And I am a PF fanatic.

We seem to be in a money problem.
            One world money next???
            Then government next?
            Then religion?

            Think about it…

            • Love PF’s “Dark Side of the Moon”

      6. The world economies will not crash…..the IMF and ECB will pump money into the system to prop it up…..come monday the world markets will recover most of their losses….just watch and see.

        • No. They WILL prop it up as long as possible, but even Atlas could only hold the world for so long.

        • no.

Monday, more selling will come unless fed banks come up with some new crap sunday night. most people in the usa paid no attention to brexit and the markets Friday because they have jobs and lives but heard the market dropped 600 points by Monday and many will be looking to sell on Monday.

the market might recover some this week, but unless the fed banks come out with new crap pretty soon; the markets are going down further. brexit is just the start of uncertainty for England, the worlds 5th largest economy; and there will be several other countries with an exit vote as a possibility coming up in the next few months.

more selling to come, dow down another 1500 points in two weeks is more likely than recovering.

          • @lena. crash and burn is correct. first, it dropped on friday. second… the plunge team will prop it up on monday, third… there is few small players left in the market. And last…most common folk don’t pay attention to the market…they watch TV, drink beer, and smoke dope.

        • Me and the wife, well we loves eachother so much so that i wrote her a cheque out for $120,000 last week and the week before that after some fantasic sex she gave me a cheque for $115,000

Nothing will go wrong so long as we both never try to cash these paper payments and the same is also true when it comes to the jewish owned banking system that is a bit like a snake eating it’s own tail as it props up share prices.

      7. That velocity of money chart is terrifying.

It is lower than 1960 and every recession since.

It is a clear indicator we have been in a serious recession perhaps a depression since Obama came to office. His claims of economic growth are nonexistent, just smoke and mirrors.

        • Most people here are more your “Hunting big foot” type of guys and won’t undertand what you mean by “That velocity of money”

it’s the amount of times you $1.00 is exchanged for real goods or services like buying a big mac and paying the window cleaner before it becomes the property of the rich and ends up in a bank doing nothing and is earning zero interest.

You blame Obummer but he cannot do up his own fly zipper up without first getting approval from Congress and they in turn dare not fart unless there real paymasters (this banksters) allow them so stop watching the puppet won’t ya now because like you say its “just smoke and mirrors.”

      8. If the helicopter drops any money here, it’s going to turn into silver.

      9. To the WRITER of this Article: I am shocked that you wonder why no mass inflation has as yet happened after so many stimulus agendas etc..

The Main Reason is this:…NO hyper Inflation events like wiemeier germany can ever happen unless and untill…That mass of Cash stimulus Fed Reserve pays Out goes Directly To the Peoples in a nation.

For just How many folks in usa today actually Have wheel barrows full of spare cash to spend it on one loaf bread as done in 1920s germany?

I know of NONE! Zero has it!…Ergo, unless and untill masses of free cash from fed govnt arrives in peoples mailbox to do whatever they decide to do with that cash?

NO hyper events are possible period….And as You must know of…So Far ALL 100% of each stimulus or bail outs and other cash outlays have been given to the very wealthy Banksters and Banks and most major global Corps like GE and GM etc..

Hobammys phony “Jobs Czar” he appointed is also The top CEO of GE corp…He got $200-BILLION stimulus cash package for GE corp. in order to create Jobs as the job Czar.

Well yes he did create jobs and also built a, was it $3-Billion dollar cost New GE Plant factory too!

Problem was that GE CEO and hobammy job Czar built it IN China! and every job he created went to Chinese peoples IN China!…While WE usa tax payer folk are whom must REpay that $200-Billion Back!

Along with that Other aprox $50-TRILLION main 2008 first down payment package paid mostly or entirely To jewish banksters around the world….And they never gave Us folk a dime!

So if this time they choose to send Us cash for free?…As long as its ALOT of Cash at once…Go for it, we that are prudent spenders and wized up folk know how to handle cash and large sums too if need be.

Pay off OUR Houses and Cars etc eh…That will stimulate economy far better as we then will have tons of spare party cash to spend….That creates Jobs and many of those jobs if we buy enough “stuffs” correct?

Otherwise about the Only real agenda left that may work swell is if enough very Pissed off reg avg folk in usa begin to HUNT down and Deal with said banksters and their evil Shabozz Goyim Henchmen aka crooked polititions etc.

They do have tons of cash on hand we need eh!…and all that stands in the peoples way now is…Them, the shabozz goy crooks and banksters…How long can They hang onto personal wealth if so many get so pissed off at same time frame eh?

plus even if the cash went direct to the peoples..The govnt can also Freeze prices as Nixon did for one full year or whatever time frame as needed so ZERO hyper inflation can ever happen even when folks spend like crazy!…Thee is more than one way to skin a cat as they say eh.

      10. I Forgot to mention that, that Job Czar and GE CEO Guy is if I recall his name correct…Jeffry Imelt (sp?)…Now those of You folks here that guessed that he is also a zio tribe member too….Bingo! Go recieve your very Own Free Prize- Six Pointed Star to affix to forehead since You have guessed correctly eh!

Some alert folks are beginning to wonder if there are ANY such scammers and swindlers that do Not belong to the tribe? Other than shabozz goy henchmen of course which are not actual tibe members but may as well be.

        • Them Guys:

These rich bastards, Soros, Rothschilds, etc., are pretty stupid. All that crap talk that they are bloody geniuses is a bloody lie. They think white people will riot like blacks and their paid white instigators, or start shooting up the neighborhood. That ain’t a white man’s style. If these scumbags push the people into revolt, we are going to take our 98%army right to that 2% and rob them the way they have been robbing us.

They think they can disarm us. Hawaii passed a bill putting all gun owners on a Federal list. If you visit Hawaii and you are a gun owner who is registered you go on a Federal list. Once on the list they track you like a Federal criminal. The FBI tracks you. Boycott Hawaii. Cancel your summer vacation plans. Whether or not you are a gun owner. Whether or not you are an American, boycott Hawaii. And if you have registered your gun, let me give you my condolences, cause I know a lot of you are going to have those guns stolen. That is just a crying shame. New guns don’t get registered any more.

          • You just did.

      11. Okay, let them give me some money. I am fine with that so long as it is not going to the big banks. I’ll just use it to deleverage further or go buy guns, ammo, gold and silver. For if it keeps up for too long those things will all be very handy to ensure I will survive the impending crisis and come out on top on the other side.

In the end, NOTHING the central banks do will actually stimulate the economy because none of it is based on sound fundamentals. The only way to bring about long term sustainable growth is to bring good paying jobs to the average person. If they do anything else, the average person will see through the bullshit and keep preparing for the inevitable crash. We don’t need the ability to buy more cheap imported trinkets, we need the ability to both pay for a decent standard of living AND put stable money away in savings for a rainy day. Only when those two conditions are met will we go back to consuming again.

      12. The solution is to start using the earths natural resources to do things that make build or grow stuff. We have to increase production. Make work jobs or government doleing out money that don’t produce a product are parasitic and just add to the problem. We gotta produce what the consumers purchase on the USA soil. Make it here. Sell it here. Purchase it here. Imported stuff = exported wealth & exported production jobs

        • Spot on Old Guy!!! Governments create nothing!!!

      13. The reason why we haven’t seen runaway inflation from what people call an unprecedented cycle of “money printing” is quite simple: that “money” only exists on computer screens. It’s not actual, physical money; it’s actuarial money, and it was never really intended to see the light of day.

Think back to 2008 and the bailouts. It’s real easy to re-animate a zombie bank. All you need are a few clicks of a mouse and that zombie bank is magically transformed from insolvent to solvent. But the money used to make the bank pass for solvent does not physically exist, which means this “solvent” bank would still collapse if depositors were to run on the bank to withdraw their money.

Fast forward to today. The quoted figure I’ve read on exactly how much physical money is on hand in banks was a ratio of six cents for every $100 of deposits. Everything else only exists on computer screens. That’s what happens when you do QE to infinity without ever putting physical money into the pockets of warm bodies who will go out and spend it.

Now let’s throw a collapse of the economy and financial system in there. What would happen? Because there is so little physical cash on hand at banks, you would probably see some type of federal takeover of the banks to control how much of that money, which would have only existed on computer screens, becomes actual physical money. I would suspect this was the intent all along. All gold-buggery aside, an economic/financial system collapse in this country would make physical cash a hard commodity to come by because so little of it exists right now. Therefore, physical cash in a man’s hands would mean the world to him. If you’re the government, that’s a man who you need to find a way to control, be it through currency controls, price controls or whatever else you can come up with. If not, he’s going to ruck up and head to your front door to finish you.

      14. Could someone do a study . One how much land and gardening it takes to make it through a winter. Growing a patch of garden to survive a winter . Reality check time. Get real. Not to mention the two leg animals that will sneak thieve everything. Prep or die.

        • About 15 acres for a family of four. Some of the people who use square foot gardens and such say you can get it down to just one acre.

      15. The situation comes from the fact that a few have monopolized most business opportunities, so people stop enterprising, because they don’t stand a chance to compete with the powers that even own our politicians.

        • Are you referring to monopolistic Unions or corrupt politician/bureaucrats?

          • Corporations that own our politicians.

      16. Captain crunch. Sounds pretty cool. Old guy and Winston pretty good post. Cheap trinkets is right. I can go to an old second hand store and buy a fridge that was made in 1980 and it will still work. Appliances now ? 6 maybe 7 years then falling apart. I am sick of all this junk on the store shelves. I really believe if manufacturing does not start coming back we will become a 3rd world nation. These corporations and politicians that have allowed this to happen , the day of reckoning is coming. Wtf knows. I’m in rural Wv. We have low taxes but a lot of New Jersey people have bought property here because so low. They are floored at how low it is compared to where they came from. I ask them ” how the hell do people afford that crap”? Just gotta pay it they say. High property taxes are bull shit. Schools get 70 percent of that or higher with no accountability. Another reason to shut the border. U can’t go anywhere in this country and find an affordable apartment and make it on minimum wage. Overpopulation is serious issue yet never talked about. Can we grow corn on concrete?

        • Minimum wage was never intended to be something you could live off of long term. The problem is that the only jobs being created in any large numbers pay minimum wage and so there is a large number of people who cannot get a living wage job because they simply do not exist.

Is minimum wage too low? I would say that it is if for no other reason than it is not indexed to inflation. While I do not support a $15 an hour minimum, I would support an indexed minimum that looks at the buying power of minimum wage when it was first implemented and adjusts according to that. So, today it would be between $10 and $11 an hour. Any more and market forces start to destroy jobs. With the onslaught of automation and AI, they may still do that anyways within the next ten to fifteen years until we reach the equilibrium point between employment and operating costs. In other words, as the number of employed people declines, the number of customers declines too and so does the ability to invest in automation. It may well be that the best choice one can make right now, when there are still jobs, is to work on an off grid living solution so that you can survive in a period of limited employment opportunities.

        • We are prepped well with food etc, but wife wants a new dishwasher.
The old one circa 1986 is still working fine, but she thinks it’s too noisy.

          Argh…

      17. Rather than raise taxes to pay the debt down, let’s start cutting the benefits we pay to our elected officials.

      18. Chaos will look good after whats coming happens

        • What are you talking about ?

All you got do is wait out the chaos in your bunker, let all the unprepared die off and come out with your stash of food, ammos, cash and metals and you can rule. i’m talking your own sex slaves, your own gang of thugs, it’ll be great !

(please note the sarcasm, the future is going to suck; even for the eilte. they may have all the money and resources, but when they cant leave their houses because some gang may kill them for whatever cash they are carrying; that’s not so great. the elite screwed the world but also themselves.)

      19. All kinds of crazy stuff going on all over..Texas or Texit..yes this is next..secede?..

        HCKS.

        • I would love to see it! However, I would also hope to see a few neighboring states join it too. The only issue I can see though is that it will be portrayed in the media as a bunch of ignorant racists trying to resurrect the Confederacy. I, for one, do not wish to do that as I have no desire to see segregation (or slavery) again and because the government of the Confederacy was not very functional.

I do, however, want to see a government modeled after the original US Constitution but with better worded protections against government excesses and better worded protection for gun ownership and private property rights. I would also more narrowly define interstate commerce so that it cannot be used as a way for the Federal government to infringe upon state and individual rights. There should also be stricter limitations of immigration so that new immigrants are not a burden on current citizens.

          • And, I would add, find anyone who I’d currently residing in the U.S. Illegally, and deport them, and their children!

      20. Give out money to people to spend as they see fit. Yeah that’ll work, back up the dump truck and pile it over there.

      21. There are two major traditions in Western political thought. The first is Aristotelian, logical, rational, centrist, mechanistic. You concentrate power and truth in the centre and apply it outward, shaping the world according to plan.

This was the guiding principle of the Roman Empire. It evolved into the Holy Roman Empire and the Church of Rome. Except for Switzerland, it has dominated politics on the continent ever since. Most recently, it has morphed into the European Union.
The principle is simple – smart people can figure out how to run things, and should be allowed to do so. This was the idea behind Hillary Clinton’s health care task force (and now ObamaCare), as well as Japan, Inc. and even Adolph Hitler’s National Socialist Germany. It has animated nearly every politician (each one of whom, as Garrison Keilor notes about Lake Woebegone children, are above average) in this century.
But there is another tradition that is much less well understood. It is the tradition of the Roman Republic… of English common law… of Adam Smith and Emmanuel Kant… of Austrian School economists such as Ludwig von Mises and Friedrich Hayek and of pre-Rooseveltian American. It is organic, rather than mechanistic – the tradition of tradition, based on the recognition that people, no matter how smart, cannot replace thousands of years of accumulated experience (remember the “best and the brightest” who led the Vietnam war? Or, wonder where the radical homosexual power move is going to end?)

Experience is embodied in the evolved systems of values, customs, rules and traditions that people use to order and give meaning to their lives. A free market and a free society allow people to express these preferences, as well as allowing the process of social and civil evolution to continue. This tradition, in other words, is neither liberal nor conservative in the modern sense, but anti-political. Indeed, it is often seen as “anti-intellectual” because it denies the authority of intellectuals to tell the rest of us what to do (through the political process).

Fleet Street Letter, page 6, date unknown!

      22. So I am camping and fishing all over Northern California and Western Nevada for the last three. The problem I see is too many people and not enough resources. There is no place to hide. I may have a better plan than most, just because I have a plan, but there are very few places that the hoards will not go in escaping California.

        BigB

        • Last Chance looks pretty good defensively

        • BigB,

I agree with you. I am on my way home from a road trip that took me through much of the western states. I did not see parks and ranches teaming with wild life. I saw a heard of Buffalo in Yellowstone and a heard of Elk in the Rockies. Really didn’t see much road kill either after driving ov ver 8000 miles. I did see some thriving farms once ee got back into the Midwest an d in parts of California. Farming and raising animals might be the way to go but that is not for everyone. The alternatives don’t look good. There is a lot of ‘pie in the sky’ thinkers/preppers who are going to have a really rude awakening when the real shtf! I like concepts like an edible forest but really, how long are you going to sustain yourself (and others) on said forest. I saw plenty of cattails in marshy areas but again do not see the masses foraging off these plants for any length of time. Could I survive? Perhaps I could but it looks pretty grim for the family if we had to survive off the land. Stored food by individuals can only go so far. What if you have to evacuate and leave your supplies. Grim indeed.

      23. Oliar is hot under the collar stomping his feet and revealing his pressured orders to get them guns and flood in more illegals by the millions. It doesn’t make sense how the Kenyan was able to infiltrate this government, then again 9-11 and DHS explain it well. In Houston Craigslist there was an ad wanting guards for a two day drill including the 4th of July, $200 pay. Ad has been removed.

      24. It’s all caused by peak cheap to produce oil.

The economy is not a monetary construct…it is an energy construct.

Debt is simply energy use pulled forward. Borrowed money now. Paid off when the energy is produced and used to make product from raw material to repay debt.

Cheap to produce oil is history. EROI (Energy Return on Investment)has crashed. Too much of the economy is going back into the production of the remaining hydrocarbons that there is not enough left to grow the economy. The economy cannot afford expensive oil or it crashes like 2008. It also cannot afford too cheaply priced oil or the producers go bankrupt like now.

Without a constantly growing economy you cannot pay the compound usury on the debt and it continues to pile up until the world is drowning in it…like now.

Solutions? There are none. A worldwide crash is imminent. Billions of unfunded liabilities will be liquidated. Chaos and death are the future.

Try not to be liquidated yourself. There will be no reset to anything like today. Root hawg or die. You need to be able to provide your own food, shelter, water and heat.

        Get crackin’…I need a drink.

        cheers

        • Really good points! The people who voted for leaving the EU were mostly the old or the lazy: the large numbers of people in Britain who live on some form of public benefit (welfare). Many of these people have lived like this for decades, never picking up a trade or starting a business or moving to a better place to work. These people are completely dependent on government handouts to eat, drink (they do a lot of that) and have shelter. What will they do when peak credit and peak oil hit? The British also barely make anything of any substance and import most of what they consume and eat. In return they send back funny money, banking and financial scams, derivatives and more debt.

          • Oh bullshit, Frank.
For every pound (euro) the Brits put into the EU they got 1/2 pound back. Other countries got back twice and more what they put in. If you like that setup then put your money where your mouth is… and give it to me.

            sheesh.

      25. The way to hell is paved with good intentions. Don’t borrow $. You can do it without borrowing. Go without or be a debt slave. I choose to go without to keep my freedom. Let their Ponzi scheme collapse. I will be honest I want the system to collapse. I set up the dominos to fall in my direction and will be ok. Since 2008 the Alarm has been sounding that’s 8 years ago. People had 8 years to insulate themselves against a full on collapse. That is a long time to get ready. If they fell for the propaganda and did nothing why should I feel bad if they suffer. Reality is we are heading for a shit storm and the propaganda is don’t batten down the hatches everything is fine. Is it such a big deal to prepare for hard times. If nothing happens you can go on living the fantasy utopian dream.

      26. I’d like to know where all the lottery money taken in by states actually goes, to winners I highly doubt it. You can’t contact them, a big secret. Also the paid off crooks in DC beat Vermont to the punch by passing the DARK act, called by opponents Deny Americans the Right to Know what’s in their store bought food. The Vermont law to label was to be effective July 1st, a week away. Citing same old BS lies they don’t want to confuse consumers, then put forth more BS that hides and makes it more difficult to find the actual ingredients, read this code, call this number from your smartphone. GMO’s are obviously meant to sicken, big money to big pharma from sicker people, ridding of the population. Bayer tried to buy Monsanto for 62 billion, said they are prepared to offer much more. Bayer was a big pharma giant in WW2, German? I know, grow your own food and bud, love to be in a position to do so. Raw natural plants are life giving, processed food is dead food. Your gut flora controls your immune system.

        • I sense the prepping community has been running at Defcom 3, ready to jump to Defcon 4 any minute.

If Trump is elected I wonder how many will reset down to Defcon 2, and give it a little wait and see time.

Obama with his incessant divisiveness has the country split along every possible line of separation. Obama plain and simple is the reason preppers are running at Defcon 3. When it comes to dropping the other shoe, Obama has been the Imelda Marcos of presidents. Everyone in industry and business have had to withstand a constant barrage of regulation and taxes. Just when you think Obama is done screwing with you, whack anther regulation out of the blue, or another gimme for your overseas competition.

One of the great things about Ronald Reagan was he navigated a clear and straight path, people, business and our allies could always expect to be treated fairly and consistently. Everyone knew the rules and the rules stayed consistent.

I’d love to Trump set up a 200 person team to tear down the wall of absurd government regulations Obama has put in place just to screw with people that serve no clear purpose other than to feed the government monster.

          • THE WINNING COMMENT ON THIS TOPIC…fantastic thoughts PTPO!

          • Government regulation and their agency goons is why my farm went from a solid producer of over 100k# of fresh produce a year to a subsistence farm for me, myself and my family and chickens.
            Who is John Galt

          • here here

      28. The only thing good about not having money is you don’t have to worry about losing it.???

      29. In the economy of today . How can anyone say people need to find a job .? Their are no jobs to find . Any idiot that thinks there are jobs for everyone is either a government paid liar or an idiot. The people who complain about 200 dollars a month for food stamps should try to live off 200 a month of food. Their are not enough jobs for everyone idiots. Because of free trade idiots. How do we compete with Chinese workers getting 2 dollars per hour idiots. You f’d our country with your free trade because you thought you would get things cheaper in your retirement . And you f’d your grand children. But why should you care you will die soon . F the country as long as you can retire comfortably. But maybe you had no control the powers that be rig everything including votes. I guess we are all idiots just along for the ride.

        • Yeah, lack of jobs is keeping a lot of people from working. There was a news story recently about how there are far fewer teens now working summer jobs than there used to be… some say it’s due to summer classes or volunteering but I believe it’s partly because the jobs that would go to teens are going to older people who are just trying to make it.
On TV, I think the anchors are really clueless because the jobs that they’re describing as summer jobs for teens aren’t just filled by teenagers… older adults are going to be working them too… the media isn’t portraying how hard it is for a person who wants work to find it.

      30. I can’t over state the opiate/heroin problem that preppers will have to deal with. The system is either incapable or unwilling to deal with it. On a daily basis I’m calling the police on the local junkies/burglars/thieves. They come and talk to them, then leave. The problem will be solved once the government goes down. On the first day the problem will be adjudicated. Thus spoke Zarathrustra. Or whatever.

        • Zarathustra.

          • Lone Wolverine and Observer.

Reading about the problems in South America, what good does $200 do you when there is no food. Have a job but no food.

Not only the drug problem will escalate but there will be major problems that arise that many will not have prepared for.

            Rule of three

            3 minutes without air
            3 weeks without food
            3 days without shelter.

I also thinks of Months to gage how people will react to National or Global disasters.

From the time of the starting point.

30 days people find out this is no joke.
by 60 days people will be stressed out. Protest and riots begins
90 days the world looks real shitty.
120 days we will find out if our preps were sufficient and our planning sound.

Didn’t need to go into detail. Most of you all know the scorecard.

We are all going to see Strange Shit Happen. Hehehehe!
            Prepare for War.

            • Uhm…Its 3 days without water not shelter.

      31. Observer. Same here. Biggest problem is do nothing prosecutors. Or they say no room in prison. And on and on. Jobs go down , crime goes up. And it’s everywhere And I agree 100 percent. When this titanic finally sinks we will be law then. Headed to cabin now to put more stuff in stock. Looks like won’t be long now.

      32. That’s their plan to provide for everyone’s basic needs food water housing medical. if no one needs to work who will build housing produce food or pickup trash. It can’t work out. There will always be bottom feeders that will get a free ride but those bums are nobody. Their lives are worthless they are parasites that suck the life out of good folks. Parasites are not sustainable in a world of finite resources.

      33. Hmmm. Our Founders went to war against the then most powerful military in history over a petty tax on a nonessential beverage – tea.

Yet, far beyond anything envisioned by any tyrant in the past, we are taxed, spied upon, abused, and regulated, and we barely whimper.

Even in Texas (Taxus) they are stealing our money through the highest property tax rstes in the nation. Mine are 3.25-3.50 (adding all sorts of charges that they hide by claiming property tax does not mean those added fees) annually increasing as they assess higher valuations with no way to get relief (except a measly homestead exemption of $25,000).

      34. “highest property tax rstes in the nation”

I doubt that it beats NJ where a $350K home will have $12K or more / yr in property taxes.

      35. Been watching the DJIA forecast (in the link below) for many months. Hasn’t really changed for a month+-. Makes me wonder if we are just using the Brexit as a convenient excuse to let the air out of the balloon. We were headed for a pretty good drop anyway.

One of the options mentioned in the article to get the economy going is to print more money and ramp up gov spending. We’re 19 trillion in debt. Really, how much more debt load can we print up. IF .gov decides to go the “print money” route, inflation will kick in and your money will lose it’s buying power. How to counter this??? Gov bonds? Buy real property? It’s anybody’s guess. The stimulus we’ve been pumping into the economy since ’08 doesn’t seem to have had any more effect than letting us tread water for 8 years. This doesn’t give me a lot of confidence in stimulus at this point. So you buy real property thinking you’ll get a kick in value from inflation and protect your money’s value. Stimulus doesn’t work too well and the gov drops the stimulus program. Now you have deflation. So now your real property is losing value. Now what ya gonna do? Bottom line…keep your head on a swivel. What’s good today may not work tomorrow.

Time to get to work on a carb rebuild on the ole GL1200.

        Good luck to all.

      36. Anon. 30 days? Most people I know don’t have 3 days of food . But you are right . Money will be worthless. They will throw their silver and gold in the streets when the food runs out.

      37. Today’s History Lesson

On the 140th anniversary of Custer’s well-remembered demise, why is California genocide forgotten?

        • Thanks for the history lesson. When two cultures collide the one with superior technology prevails.

      38. When I read articles l like these, I often marvel at the striking lack of discussion about the currency markets. They are a literal road map to what has happened, what is coming and when. When currently trading dwarfs the stock markets daily at some point you would expect these highly intelligent writers to factor it in. Our economy is doomed without a doubt, anybody who thinks different is flatly wrong. Hopefully many will come out on the other side stronger and better prepared to deal with the new America.

      39. Speaking of our elites, and the separate rules for them:

“It will be of little avail to the people, that the laws are made by men of their own choice, if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood; if they be repealed or revised before they are promulgated, or undergo such incessant changes that no man, who knows what the law is to-day, can guess what it will be to-morrow. Law is defined to be a rule of action; but how can that be a rule, which is little known, and less fixed?”
–James Madison, Federalist No. 62, 1788

Now this: “2015 was a record-setting year for the Federal Register, according to numbers the Competitive Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., released Wednesday. This year’s daily publication of the federal government’s rules, proposed rules and notices amounted to 81,611 pages as of Wednesday, higher than last year’s 77,687 pages and higher than the all-time high of 81,405 pages in 2010 — with one day to go in 2015. The group’s vice president for policy, Clyde Wayne Crews, said there have been 3,378 final rules and regulations among the pages of the Federal Register this year. Some of the major final rules included the Environmental Protection Agency’s Clean Power Plan and its Waters of the Unites States rule, as well as the Federal Communications Commission’s net neutrality order.” http://thehill.com/regulation/administration/264456-2015-was-record-year-for-federal-regulation-group-says

Land of the Free? When the First Congress enacted the original Crimes Act in 1790 (see http://www.gwu.edu/~ffcp/exhibit/p6/p6_7.html ), there were only 17 recognized Federal crimes, and it was reasonable to assume that as long as a person was a law-abiding citizen, he was not at risk of arrest. Last I checked in 2011, at that time there were more than 4,500 Federal crimes — and many are so obscure that they are nearly indecipherable. In addition to the 4,500 Federal crimes, there are tens of thousands of Federal regulations. Many people commit criminal acts daily without even knowing they are doing so. The Federal Register – full of laws which apply to YOU, and is comprised of government agencies’ new regulations, proposed rules, and presidential papers – was, when I last looked at this years ago, according to Politifact.com and Rep Randy Forbes (R—4th) was then 34,000 pages in length, and weigh 340 lbs. The Government Printing Office stated on June 14, 2011, the actual number of pages was 34,844 (but then, as pages are added every day, whose counting!), but that was actually just the running tally of the number of pages published in 2011 to date. According to Jim Hemphill, Ass’t to Dir. of the Federal Register, the 2010 total was actually 81,405 pages, of which “only” 46, 758 were dedicated to rules or proposed rules (whew! I was worried there for a minute!). The rest were agency hearing, meetings, investigations, etc. (http://www.politifact.com/virginia/statements/2011/jul/01/randy-forbes/rep-forbes-says-federal-registration-containing-re/ )

      42. Prepare for the chaos. . ..? We can’t wait for the chaos . Or the window of opportunity . To get rid of these third world garbage. And all their friends. Show me one country run by these people that isn’t a third world hell hole. Let’s get real hear. Wake up and smell the coffee. We need some major house cleaning. What’s the alternative ? This has happened before . We have to fight and die for our civilization . Or these third world garbage will destroy everything. Just like they have done in their country’s . Look at their third world faces on TV news . Then see what they’ve done to the whites in South Africa . Who should have never gone there in the first place. If we don’t separate we will be overrun and destroyed. Isn’t it obvious? I don’t have kids so why should I care? Let the third world contaminate us. Pervert us . Just like we all see. And keep telling yourself that our strength is in our diversity. Devide and conquer . If we don’t wake up soon . Our civilization will disappear into the third world.

      44. Yo Preppers. What do you think should be the trigger that sends me to CostCo to clean the place out before the locals do. I figure I’ll beat them to the punch without having to try because we’re so far ahead of the gen-pop as far as what’s going on, but I want to be sure. I already have a year or so worth of food for a reasonable sized group, but I have almost 100 food grade buckets lying around and I would feel better about filling those suckers up with rice, beans, sugar, salt and particularly corn, when there is an imminent interruption.

Stove – A small stove is essential it you want to stay hidden. Smoke and noise from the cutting and burning of wood would be undesirable if you are in hostile territory or being pursued. I have a Peak-One backpackers stove, there are others but this is what I have and can recommend.
military 4 part sleep system…protects to minus 30 degrees if you know what to do with it…and at LEAST have the bivy bag part of it in your car in case you get stranded….if you are dressed for the climate you’re in, it might only take that bivy to save yer life. randy
Shelter – Rain poncho and tarp or compact tent, stick with natural colors that blend with the surrounding area.
Cooking – I have a Stainless Steel 5-Piece Mess Kit, that I ordered from amazon.com but any lightweight kit will do.
First Aid – It’s best to assemble your own kit, tailored to your needs, or if you are lazy you can buy a ready-made kit. Don’t forget to add personal medications.
Light – I have a 2-AA Cell Mini LED Flashlight Mini LED Flashlight and a 9-Hour Candle.
Tools – A folding saw, Swiss Army pocket knife, and fixed blade knife. A light weight shovel and Machete are nice, but add extra weight.
Clothing – At least one extra pair of socks and underwear add other items if you feel the need and have the space.
Fishing – Line, hooks and sinkers and a few small lures. I also have a small gill net for catching fish.
Snare wire – I make my own from copper wire. Don’t forget to include at least 50 ft of parachute cord.
Plastic bags – Two or three large lawn bags and several zip-lock sandwich bags, can be used for a number of tasks and to keep things dry.
Binoculars – See game and enemy before they see you.
Sewing kit – Needle and thread don’t forget to include a few extra buttons.
This n’ that – Head net, electrical tape, face paint, gloves, sharpening stone etc.
Firearms – This is where feathers get ruffled and wounds opened. Everyone has their own idea of what the “perfect” survival firearm is or should be.
I am not going to get into all the choices here

      46. Hello,
Scary events! I have been begging for silver to fall back down so i can scoop more up.. anyhow – Question for all of you folk:
I am kinda low on cash but working on my BOB, what should I do about body armor? I was thinking about a Steel army helm and a flack jacket? What do you guys think – I mean, in SHTF its basically 1 shot 1 kill anyhow, givin the lack of medical training and supplies.

        • if near a military base you can often find used body armor for 50 to 100 dollars(small and mediums)…but if you are big(XL) it’s going to be more like 200 to 300. go to military surplus store to try things on, then buy ebay is another way. i got lots of flak jackets from vietnam era, but i don’t really want to trust my life to them. search survivalblog, there’s a LOT of good info on there…a tip for you…when BUYING armor, comlain the date says it’s not good anymore….when SELLING armor, let people know that dates don’t really mean much. as long as it’s been taken care of(NOT WET!), then it’s going to be good for a LOOONG time. i have bought a few that were like brandy-new, for less than 150, but XL is VERY hard to find, and if you’re like a big percentage of americans, THAT won’t even fit. make damn sure you know it will fit before payin’. also consider, if you add plates, it will probly be too small if it fit right before the plates were added..and pay attention to who made those plates, and how hard of metal was used making them…no plates might be ok for pistols, but you better have them for rifle rounds….remember, this stuff is heavy, but you are better off WITH it in your home than NOT having it.helmets, i often pay 25 for them, but usually they are asking in area of 75 to a hundred…again, if you need large, it will cost much more than sm. med…..and PADS make it smaller on yer head than the headband thingy…..no steel helmet for ME, thank you anyway….if you aint got armor, or a parachute, when you NEED them, chances are, you will never need them again.

      47. Something wicked come this way.
