To the untrained eye, it would appear that the masses are waking up. People are becoming more informed. Local news stations are talking more about what used to be called “conspiracy theories”. Our opposition to further war in the Middle East has been noted and a crisis in Syria has been temporarily averted. The United States public seems to have achieved a small victory, right?
To the trained eye, this is called diminishing returns. The old tactics used to deceive and manipulate the emotions of the public have become less effective over time. Does this mean that we are winning the fight, or that something more sinister is on the way?
The Weakening of the False Flag
A false flag is an attack that is meant to deceive the public into believing that it was carried out by a person or group other than those who are actually responsible. The purpose is to gain support from the public against those who are blamed for the attack to justify action against them. Those truly responsible for false flags are a topic heavily debated but I will refer to them as the elite.
In the past, when the vast majority of the public used the MSM as their sole source of information, a false flag was extremely effective. However, people now have access to more sources of information and have become increasingly skeptical. This has been underscored by the most recent lack of American support for military action in the Middle East, along with an unprecedented amount of skepticism regarding the shooting in Aurora, Co and the Boston Marathon bombing.
With the internet today, it has become almost impossible to prove or disprove any specific event unless it is experienced first-hand. All it takes is some well-crafted disinformation to discredit and make the masses second guess what actually happened, or if an event even happened at all.
An Event that will Shock Even Those that are “Awake”
So if the elite really are behind some of the most horrific events in recent history, how would they further their agenda in today’s world? It would take an event or series of events that directly affects the entire American public. An event so devastating that it would overwhelm the senses. It would have to hit close to home and trigger an emotional response so strong that even skeptical Americans would ignore the possibility of the elites involvement.
What kind of event would accomplish all of the above? The type of event that preppers have been getting ready for. An EMP, nuclear bomb, and chemical attack are a few things that come to mind. It really is anyone’s guess as the elite would likely try to be as unpredictable as possible.
The scariest part though, is what could follow such an event.
The Aftermath
We have all heard about the NDAA, government ammo purchases, FEMA coffins, etc. I could go on for days with more examples but I think you get the point. In the wake of a truly horrifying disaster, the masses would be vulnerable and easily mislead once again. All it would take is some simple staged aggression towards the government from “truthers” or “extremists” after a major event to issue in the new era of martial law and FEMA meal plans.
You might not even be that lucky if you are on the government’s terrorist list. I guess you shouldn’t have purchased that value pack of protein bars!
Buckle Up
If the elites are responsible for false flags in the past, there is no doubt that they will do whatever it takes to further their agenda. “Whatever it takes” could be one hell of a major disaster given the growing number of Americans that are waking up.
While I believe we should all celebrate the growing awareness of the masses, we must remain vigilant. The elite are watching the masses too, and they aren’t celebrating…

@ Tess: They Khemmed here in Western Northern Virginny the other day in a manner I’ve not seen before…jets stacked on top of each other flying extremely close together mixing their trails. WTF. The last time I checked, there’s a rule for most airplanes not to fly stacked or near each other’s “wash” or turbulence. These flyguys…two pairs within twenty minutes, had me thinking it was a pre-nahn-eel-levin event unfolding in the Monday western DC sky….turns out they did Haarp the hello out of us this week and the good folks of Colorado are getting hammered so that Google Earth can take pretty pictures for Mossad during the false-flag-patriot-day-week around the east coast. Excuse me…in about the 70s or 80s, our family supported a young boy from Africa through Christian Childrens Fund. This was for about 4-5 years perhaps, not sure. We were finally notified that there had been some type of war in the country and they did not know the whereabouts of this child. We, at that point, stopped sending money. A few years later we started supporting a young girl from S America or Latin America, can’t remember. Her name was Maria. It seemed each year they started asking for more and more money. The usual amount plus Christmas, birthday, Easter and finally when they wrote asking for extra for a “lets be nice to Maria month, I finally called it quits. I can’t remember which that one was, not Christian Children’s Fund though. I have also donated to Feed the Children years ago. I now have 13 grandchildren, plus 8 more that call me grandma in Alaska. That is enough to help. Yes, I am fearful big time for us, kids, grandkids, and all others for haven’t asked for this shit life we are being dished out. The best (worst) times for a full scale economic attack on the U.S. would be early spring (such as in One Second After) or mid winter.
Why these times?
Early spring makes it too soon for crops to go into the ground, and people will use up all available resources in the interim between crops in and crops harvested, leaving them utterly dependent on what they can harvest, thus the average American would A:starve, or B: become a subsistence family, living only to eat what they can procure, and all attention focused to surviving.
Mid winter is worse, in my opinion- no chance for crops in, limited to fuel on hand for heating food and selves, and relying on food on hand and entirely on what is in the immediate area with little to no chance of overland help.
Mid winter is a harsh climate in most of the northern continental US states. Those that make it out of the winter months will be sickly and starved. A weak northern entry point for foreign troops in the spring.
Too many variables to discuss in detail, but an EMP, martial lockdown, shutting down the internet, or even a bank holiday would be most devastating to the U.S. the day after Christmas. Most people are away from home visiting relatives (away from preps and supplies), have spent all their money on the holiday (broke), and are looking at 2-3 solid months of cold weather (use up what little food and fuel is available).
Not predicting anything, obviously, but can you think of a worse time to have it happen?

This thing weighs about 25-40 lbs. A hobby class liquid fuel rocket could launch one of these from Anywhere! The 338 Lapua Mag is a special purpose round. It cost about $1.50 to reload after purchasing the brass. It shoots flat out to about 300 yards about the sameas a 300 win mag but has around 2 1/2 TONS of energy as the bullet weighs in the nieghborhood of 300 grains. Against a semi hard target my 308 would bounce off as the 338 penetrates. As far as hunting Elk, the 308 is fine.

@ RICH99. As painful as this is, I keep my promise, you were right about the U.S. not attacking Syria, THIS TIME. It is now Sept. 13 over there and the moon is too bright for any attack aircraft. The next window to watch deeply for is Sept. 29 to Oct. 9, with the new moon being Oct. 4. I am thinking much more so now that it won’t be the U.S. at all that starts all of this in reference to prepping. There are some strange events with the weather this year that spells some major problems later. The Sun is almost blank in a solar maximum, as was the case before the Carrington Event of 1859. There are new viruses emerging as Mac sister sites have been posting recently. The New Madrid and San Andreas have been getting tension put on them later. One player that no one is paying attention to is the gas and oil island disputes between China and Japan. There is ALWAYS the personal nightmare finacially that hits millions of people each day. They ALL wish they had necessities put away.
The issue of SHTF is that these events come on most often without warning, and it is so nice to have what you need ready to go WHEN they do. No one expects to have an accident in the car, but no matter how careful you are there is always the jackass that is texting, looking into the sky, drunk, or just not paying attention. That insurance is expensive and terrible to have to pay each month, but you are thankful as anything when you need it, that insurance is there. Same goes true with food, water, protection, and other necessities. So grateful to have them there when the hammer falls fast and vicous.

I remember watching the Little Rascals back in 1958 when they were first licensed for TV broadcast. The local station played every single one with sound (there were silent ones, but never aired). I have a reference book on the Little Rascals, and I can remember seeing all but one or two of the ones with sound, even the later ones with Mickey and Froggy.

IF our Government, FEMA, Home Land Security and others are feverishly prepping with food, water, ammo, guns, digging underground bunkers etc. They are tipping their hand, in that THEY KNOW something we do not. And that something will be very very bad for us (the people of America). That is IF you are awake, watch, listen and look not where the crowd is looking but alternative sources is where you will get the truth.
That should be all the info you need to start your own preps for when the grocery store is NOT open, when the electricity will not come on (and by the way when you loose power you loose running water and flush toilets, heat and air conditioning and TV too).
Try pulling the main braker in your home and see how long you can take it. My guess is about 10 minutes and you will be turning the power back on. But when SHTF you will NOT be able to turn the power back on you will JUST have to deal with it…
Prep today as their may not be a tomorrow.
One time for fun, I turned off the power and the hot water heater for a month+ to see what it would be like to have to boil water outside on an open fire for a bath, cook on a camp fire, etc. I got use to it, but appreciated hot water and having power a lot more after that. Going without shows you gaps in your preps.
Was sticking bags of rice in my moms freezer the other day to get them ready to seal up in buckets, she asked me why i need so much rice?
I just asked her where the food was going to come from when the banks dont open and the stores are empty!

The whole point of this entire silly exercise in the middle east is to get other countries to spend a little more on defense and to convince the American public that American style military might isn’t effective or needed. This of course is a pretext for further reducing the size of the American military that was begun some time ago. Once the reduction in military spending is well underway, the savings will be plowed back into a national healthcare system like the rest of Europe. How on earth do think we afford it? Our militaries are a much smaller portion of our GDP so that we can enjoy more social services, such as free health care. You’ll soon be there and take your rightful place, as Canada has already done, and be the western edge of Europe. Stop resisting!

My son is 16. and This his graduating class will be the first that the state of communicut will require HS seniors to do a capstone project. it is a 5-10 presentation to the board of ed, and a community project or educational seminar. He is going to lay out the importance of a 2 week food supply. there were many without power for 2 or more weeks after the 10/29/2012 snow storm. You might notice a tendency to sleep a lot more without power, especially in winter when it is cold. This will bring on serious depression and make all of the other inconveniences that much more irritating. Being used to having many forms of entertainment around the clock has it’s disadvantages in SHTF, especially if you’re stuck staying home for the duration.
If you live in an apartment, you’ll wish you could just flush the toilet…just one more time. You’ll learn how to flush it with a 5 gal bucket of water, which is usually something most people never even think about.

Flip off the power First and back on Last if you have a electric water heater. You got to think these things out.

Good for him! We had a major fire last fall, and had to leave the house quickly. Two lessons: One, keep a second set of emergency supplies in a place away from your home (or wherever you keep them) – our bug-out bags were in the house, ruined by smoke, and we didn’t even have toothbrushes that night. (FYI, when your life is at risk, you don’t even stop at the front door to pick up the bags, unless you do A LOT of rehearsal. We didn’t.) Second, either keep medications in that secondary place, if it is temperature controlled, or have a way to go to a 24-hour pharmacy with a written script(or have the 24-hour pharm as your main one). Two of our family members take daily meds, unfortunately, and it didn’t take long to start to feel the effects.

We were without power for two weeks during the 10/19/2012 snowstorm, and a little more than two weeks during Superstorm Sandy.
We didn’t lose water altogether, but we did lose hot water. What we did was use our huge old charcoal grill. Once a day we would light it up, cook our food, and heat a huge stockpot of water, enough for all of us to wash off and wash our hair.
I have a huge fireplace. One of the first things I did when I moved into the house was get a huge kettle for my fireplace with supports on each side, kind of like what was used during colonial times. We made stews, soups…stuff like that. The fireplace was used to heat the house, and there wasn’t a room that was under 65 degrees.
Used candles and kerosene lanterns for light…had a radio to find out what was going on in the rest of the world. Also used flashlights, but not so much. We ended up going to bed around 9 or 9:30, which is much earlier than we usually go to bed.
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head. Just ask if you need anything more.
I don’t think very many people are awake. Some people see economic disaster coming but they’re not prepping. I still think that maybe 3% of Americans are prepping. My county in Mich had an ex judge that went blind completely and he got a CCW to carry concealed. Not sure if hes still here or alive or whatever as that was 10 yrs ago last I seen him. He was first time I heard of a blind person qualifying to obtain a ccw lic!

There are plenty of Key Board Commandos. Which means lots of people are going to die. I was introduced to a simple plan of Pick 7. Pick seven people you can trust and build a fighting force. Time passed is about a year and I have only Four. It’s a loose four. I am the Medic, Armorer, and gear provider and I am almost 60 years of age. We do not have a standard battle rifle and the calibers are from .223 to 30.06. Pistols are a wider range from .22 to.45 caliber and makes and models vary extremely. Nightmare for logistics and supply. Can add much more training needed.

A good trigger would be a chemical attack. It would very easily be blamed on the loose weapons in Syria and those responsible for them that would get a war going no doubt. Remember our old nemesis Al-Quida is a player too in Syria. Remember too all the DHS money that, state, county and, local gov’s have been getting over the years for NBC gear/equipment. NBC drills are routinely conducted with safety forces. EMP type grid down drills are not routinely conducted. All that NBC equipment and decontamination equipment hasn’t been baught to sit on shelves. A nuclear attack is far fetched unless it will be small scale to mimic a improvised dirty bomb attack. A EMP type attack doesn’t fit the type of training that is routinely conducted. A chemical attack and or dirty bomb attack are most believable and doable in a way that blame could be shifted to a designated person or group and the mass public will believe so.

Russia’s permanent naval task force in the eastern part of the Mediterranean is currently comprised of the large landing ships Peresvet, Admiral Nevelsky, Minsk, Novocherkassk, Alexander Shabalin, the Admiral Panteleyev large anti-submarine ship and the Neustrashimy patrol ship. “In the near future the group will be supplemented by the Moskva guided-missile cruiser, Smetlivy patrol ship and Nikolai Filchenkov large landing ship. They all act according to the operational command plan in the far sea zone,” Chirkov informed.
Russia began building up forces in the Mediterranean in 2012. Last December, the Russian Navy started its constant naval presence mission in the eastern part of the Mediterranean. The remark was made by Kazuhiko Yamashita, who holds the executive-level title of fellow, at a meeting with Japanese opposition lawmakers in the city of Koriyama in Fukushima prefecture, said Japan’s Kyodo News.
His words came less than a week after Prime Minister Shinzo Abe assured the world at a meeting of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) at Argentina that the situation in the damaged nuclear plant is “under control.”
The IOC last week ruled out Madrid and Istanbul and chose Tokyo as the host of the 2020 Summer Games, despite the ongoing highly contaminated water leaks at the plant, which was fatally damaged in a quake-triggered tsunami in March 2011.
Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga reiterated Friday that impacts of the toxic water leakage remain “inside the plant’s port” that was enclosed by breakwaters, Kyodo quoted the top government spokesman as saying.
Suga also said the remarks by Yamashita were made under “grill” by the opposition lawmakers during their meeting, according to Kyodo.
The TEPCO recently admitted that highly toxic water leaked from the plant and into the adjacent Pacific Ocean at a rate of around 300 tons per day from makeshift storage tanks on the site.
Furthermore, it said this week that there are possibly two leaks in tanks storing highly-radioactive water at the facility, with the second leak causing radiation levels to spike from 650 becquerels per liter found near the first leak, to 3,200 becquerels per liter of radioactive substances detected at a trench near the second leak.

Bill 281 is being looked at again in committee hearings due to the Maryland State Police not being prepared to process the background checks and have contracted out to private groups those who will be looking at medical records of those citizens applying for O’Malley’s Madness gun license. Just do the best for yourself, and do not fret because you cannot do what others can do. God still will provide for you even in your limited circumstances.
I think it is going to get really bad soon, and I am ready for it, physically, psychologically and spiritually.
On one hand we have to be ready to bug-out by getting out of Dodge, and if that Dodge is a city or a rural hideout, we must in stealth leave undetected and remain undetected as we travel by night to a safe place.
How that getting out of Dodge for each of us will be, is according to our terrain, what we have, and what we are able to do. It is good to have it all planned out in our minds, but we must have our preparations ready to leave with us as soon as the coast is clear.
Time is the essential factor here, and how we are ready for the exact best moment to escape will be the deciding factor to measure if we survive or not. Our goal is to survive.
Nonetheless, most of us, I think, prefer to be able to just stay where we are in our own homes with the comfort of all of our preparations. I hope this for myself and for you.
What exactly will happen and the degree of its effects upon our neighborhoods, time will tell. It is important to remain objectively cold, and keep to your interests that will keep your mind off of things you certainly will not have any control of.
For example, what if all of your neighbors are killed by some Russian and Chinese invaders, or are all taken to the local FEMA Camp for extermination? What will you do? You could cry a lot, but what good will that do? One thing that you could do, if there is a deadly scenario, is to go out in the dark night, and take as much food, water, medical and emergency supplies from your neighbors that were killed as possible, before the gangs show up. Your neighbors would want you to have those things, and you can always leave a note in the case they ever escape to come back to let them know about it. Just do not sign your name to the note for the enemy to find you.
What I plan to do if God lets me stay at home is to do what I like to do. I do not expect to have electricity or the internet.
Things I am going to do:
1) Read the Bible.
2) Read a lot of books.
3) Review mathematical problems.
4) Study and review all of my college textbooks.
5) Study and review foreign languages.
6) Draw pictures.
7) Write home school textbooks.
8 ) Write poetry and hymns.
9) Memorize verses.
10) Sing hymns and pray.
For me, an EMP will be fine. I do not like this world as it is. However, I like to be able to read online books for free on the internet that are rare, or out of print. There are a lot of good books to read that were written a long time ago that are on the internet today.
I think it is important to have card games, board games and puzzles. I think it is important to have pencils, crayons, art supplies and papers. It is important to remain occupied during long days and months of solitude.
I expect WWIII will start at any time from now.
And if you are able, CWS, run or walk or hit a punching bag or lift weights (get a few iron dumbells to keep in your exercise area). The physical effects are obvious, but exercise also helps keep you mentally sharp and in a decent mood. A Nordic Track doesn’t require any electricity. That thing helped me out for years, I literally wore it out.

I have not been online much lately. I’m moving from a little town of 20K 3 hours from nearest metro area to little town of a few thousand on the Pacific coast near nothing. Yes, I have been paying attention and have concluded it was definitely time to make the final strategic move.

Natl. Guard base in west suburbs of Chi-town has lots of vehicles lines up for a road trip. Kind of late for summer camp. They also have at least one of those TSA Police Rescue beasts there. Damn they’re huge.

I live minutes from a guard ground. You should see some of the s*&*^%t I see, Chopper, Hum Vees, Armored P.C., Trucks with radar systems, That fly drones, and rochets and they are getting more and more crap there. Something is coming

Too many of us have gone through the shock, fear, & anger & we are determined to beat the SOBs. We might as well be dead. I believe they are so evil & so separated from reality that the life force knows these characters NEED to climb so high, feel so cocky so they cant help but to be affected by the fall thats coming their way. They know it beneath their bravado & each time their bravdo takes another knock it chills them to their bones. Most of us recognise the reaping of the seeds we have sown far far quicker because our training wasnt as evil as theirs, which stripped them of their humanity & emptied their souls. I can feel for them but never condone their behaviours.
As I said we have gone through all the emotions & we are fearless & focused because we know we have good on our side. We havent committed the evil deeds to have to worry like they do. .
Having been born a couple of yrs before the end of the war I grew up listening to many speaking foldly of the experience. I couldnt understand that. Much later I realized they were not talking about the war but how they missed how they were free from govts useless restrictions & fell back to using their own initiative, to think & do for themselves. They missed how everyone pulled together & helped each other, shared the little they had & despite the hardships they were happy. This will happen again & we will grow & be better equipped to build a better world. Fear not because this is the only hold they had over us. We are all in this together.
