Bob, of Drinking With Bob, has been a little (ok, a lot) amped up lately about the goings on in America.
In his most recent video, Bob discusses what he believes to be the most important characteristic of being an American President:
In two years from now, when we elect the next President, whether he’s Republican or Democrat, successful or unsuccessful, we have to make sure he has one trait, one characteristic, the most important characteristic of being an American President – and that’s that you’re proud to be a frickin’ American.

It is always possible to be proud of being an American, in spite of the gloom and doomers, whiners and crybabies, limp wrist pissers, moaners, and losers who bemoan their fate.
Remember your heritage and all that America has done for the world since its existence; and all of the opportunities that this nation (even with its faults) has afforded you. If you have not been able to extend the dimensions of your life to embrace as much of “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” as you would like, maybe the fault is within you and not in the stars.
Whatever your position in life, and whatever your desire in life; success requires sacrifice, determination, and an unyielding spirit with an eye fixed on the prize you desire. In America it is attainable. It may even require some suffering, but it is attainable. At least it is possible.
In the end, success is not what we acquire, because we can take nothing out of this world but our character: and that is the integrity with which we negotiate the transactions of life with our family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, and strangers.
Every generation of Americans have had challenges to rise to. Some rise to the ocasion, some do not. America will still be here 100 years from now, providing freedom, liberty, justice, and opportunity to those who embrace the challenges and transform defeat into victory.
Life is plastic. You leave an impression. Make it one you can be proud of, and America will be proud of you.
Comments….. Bob needs to chill out! Obumma isn’t running in 2012, the Dumbocrats are sending him a message that he’s a 1-term president. But most of us knew that 2 years ago. He’s got some more damage to do, and the same effect from the Tea Party willvote them out in 2012. Let’s see now who helps Obumma’s agenda. Bill and Hillary are licking their lips and scheming for her run, but she will lose big time. I have a theory about this last presidential election. The Rhinos knew that McCain wouldn’t win, so they put the weakest man in there to run. They did know who Obama was–a socialist Muslim and that the American people would figure him out. Which they have–and we can thank the tea party for that. The dumbocrats got out smarted, and it will all be history in 2012. Exciting times we are living in, and and trying times as well.
