Companies in the United States, and more specifically, Silicon Valley, are building a social credit system for individuals. Much like the social credit system communist China uses to control its population, this authoritarian control is different in one way: it is being done by corporations as opposed to the government.
Make no mistake though, the corporations building a social credit system in the U.S. are already another arm of the government. They are lobbying and using the money made to get certain politicians elected. This is the very definition of crony corporatism. If anyone thinks we live in a democracy or constitutional republic, they are either wholly uninformed, brainwashed or willfully ignorant.
China’s tyrannical social credit system is a technology-enabled, surveillance-based nationwide program designed to nudge citizens toward better behavior (or government-approved behavior). The ultimate goal is to “allow the trustworthy to roam everywhere under heaven while making it hard for the discredited to take a single step,” according to the Chinese government.
According to Fast Company, China’s social credit system has been characterized in one pithy tweet as “authoritarianism, gamified.” And it’s already here in the United States.
While many Westerners are disturbed by what they read about China’s social credit system, they need to realize that they live under a system that is similar. Such systems are not unique to China. In fact, a parallel system is developing in the United States, in part as the result of Silicon Valley and technology-industry user policies, and by surveillance of social media activity by private companies. Big Tech is helping advance totalitarian control over the population by censoring information they deem goes against the government’s agenda.
For example:
The New York State Department of Financial Services announced earlier this year that life insurance companies can base premiums on what they find in your social media posts. That Instagram pic showing you teasing a grizzly bear at Yellowstone with a martini in one hand, a bucket of cheese fries in the other, and a cigarette in your mouth, could cost you. On the other hand, a Facebook post showing you doing yoga might save you money.
Airbnb can disable your account for life for any reason it chooses, and it reserves the right to not tell you the reason. The company’s canned message includes the assertion that “This decision is irreversible and will affect any duplicated or future accounts. Please understand that we are not obligated to provide an explanation for the action taken against your account.” The ban can be based on something the host privately tells Airbnb about something they believe you did while staying at their property. Airbnb’s competitors have similar policies.
It’s now easy to get banned by Uber, too. Whenever you get out of the car after an Uber ride, the app invites you to rate the driver. What many passengers don’t know is that the driver now also gets an invitation to rate you. Under a new policy announced in May: If your average rating is “significantly below average,” Uber will ban you from the service.
You can be banned on WhatsApp if too many other users block you. You can also get banned for sending spam, threatening messages, trying to hack or reverse-engineer the WhatsApp app, or using the service with an unauthorized app.-Fast Company
An increasing number of societal “privileges” related to transportation, accommodations, communications, and the rates we pay for services (like insurance) are either controlled by technology companies or affected by how we use technology services all while Silicon Valley’s rules for being allowed to use their services are getting stricter. All of the companies participating in these types of behavioral controls want one thing, and it’s the same thing the government wants: power over people.

They can take that social credit crap and shove it. Don’t care who’s running it. It’s illegitimate and null and void. Not following it. I only live by the Bill Of Rights and the Constitution.

Let them get cash out out of existence and they got ya. Even before that our kids, or grandkids can be faced with higher mortgage rates or not getting approved if they don’t have the correct “attitude”. Once they control the money it’s like controlling feed to domestic animals.
What you say will be held against you. Free speech is officially dead. Are any of the Bill of Rights still in effect? So easily done with little more than a whimper from the masses as a reply. Very depressing.

I’ve been watching videos on fermenting food. Vegtables can be preserved and at the same time become probiotic for gut health.
Submerge vegtables in water. Keep them down with a weight made of glass. Add a tablespoon of sea salt for a quart, two tablespoons for a half gallon and so forth. Release the co2 every day or the bottle could explode. There is a special top that releases co2 and keeps oxygen out automatically.
It doesn’t look hard to do. Just leave in a warm place to ferment for a few days then put into refrigerator for six months to one year.
Good thing for all of us to know.

On the subject matter of this article. I can hardly believe anyone would seriously consider trying to implement such a program. It won’t work. Americans are not like well behaved Asians. You rude SOBs will never submit. Silicon Valley is out of their minds if they think this won’t backfire on them. Guaranteed some little turd will mess up this social system. It’s going to be interesting seeing how many computer geeks come up with ways to mess with “the system”.
It is funny how much some people crave power and control over other people. It shows a high degree of insecurity and neurosis/psychosis/paranoid OCD.
I guess these people in Silicon Valley

China is the testing ground for world human resource management. The human race is being molded into a structural equivalent of an insect colony. The economic hybrid of capitalism and communism combines the strength of productivity of the former, with the social discipline of the latter. It’s the templet for the future and we are witnessing its daily advancement, sometimes with carrot, sometimes with stick.
You better believe we are being watched and listened to. Every email, text, and phone call is collected. Every web site you visit is recorded. Every financial interaction, every doctor visit, all education records, and contact with any level of officialdom is monitored. Everywhere you travel is known.
This shows what TPTB really think of you. They hold us in suspicion. They don’t even like us. Just go to work, pay your taxes, and shut up. They are primed to crush average citizens when suspected of something (even as they assist in, and cover up really serious crimes committed by the “elites”).
-There are now “red flag” laws in several states to confiscate your personal firearms, even without due process or crimes committed; now the fed. gov’t wants to make these laws on a national basis. New laws are passed all the time to make gun ownership more difficult. Gov’t sponsored propaganda shows gun ownership as bad and unnecessary. Many officials are pressing for national gun confiscation.
-Law enforcement at the orders of officialdom, and the courts, stifle free speech with so-called free speech zones, require permits to speak publicly, routinely issue gag orders, and even withhold information from citizens so we cannot even comment about issues.
-All citizens are monitored 24 hours a day as described above, gov’t by nature detests individual privacy, it must know everything.
-Fed. laws now permit financial institutions to confiscate accounts and limit withdrawals. Our accounts can even be captured and rendered impossible to withdraw. Officialdom and banks want to create a cashless financial system, that way every single penny spent will be observed, all money is to be digital and intangible. You will absolutely not have any financial power or privacy, nor hold real money in your hand.
But all this isn’t enough. Not only does TPTB want to strip us of our individual empowering rights, but they want to make sure we never have them again. So our country must be flooded with immigrants to dilute voting blocs, public education must be diluted to destroy critical thinking skills, traditional culture must be eliminated, and citizens are continually propagandized to accept a “new order”.
The goal is to completely disarm, disempower, and render all citizens passive, incapable of independent thought or action.
If you’ve ever looked up someone’s background, you’re allowed to leave a memo, about their personal character or whether you would want to be their neighbor. The anonymous tip is considered lower-value, if you will not sign-in, to ID yourself. You live under social credit.
Dark Mirrors’ “Nosedive” episode, where this happens over social media, is just streamlining it, using common, everyday means, which most everyone uses.
