Amid warnings that a vehicle carrying radioactive Iridium-192 was hijacked in Mexico last week, Reuters reports that a serious nuclear threat has emerged out of Iraq.
ISIS rebels, who are responsible for the murders of thousands of people over the last several months, have reportedly stormed a government facility in Mosul, Iraq that was being used to house nuclear research material.
Insurgents in Iraq have seized nuclear materials used for scientific research at a university in the country’s north, Iraq told the United Nations in a letter appealing for help to “stave off the threat of their use by terrorists in Iraq or abroad.”
Nearly 40 kilograms (88 pounds) of uranium compounds were kept at Mosul University, Iraq’s U.N. Ambassador Mohamed Ali Alhakim told U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in the July 8 letter obtained by Reuters on Wednesday.
“Terrorist groups have seized control of nuclear material at the sites that came out of the control of the state,” Alhakim wrote, adding that such materials “can be used in manufacturing weapons of mass destruction.”
ISIS has repeatedly claimed that they would bring their Jihad, or Holy War, to western regions including Europe and the United States.
A U.S. government official familiar with the situation claims that the materials are not believed to be enriched uranium, which would limit their use as weapons of mass destruction. While the material may not be used to produce a devastating nuclear reaction, a skilled bomb-maker, of which ISIS has plenty available, could potentially craft the nuclear material into a dirty bomb. Such a device could then be loaded onto a rocket and detonated over a highly populated city like Jerusalem or Paris, causing untold damage and costing thousands of lives.
It is believed that members of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria have recently acquired access to rocket systems capable of being mounted with such a bomb.
“The [nuclear material] warning comes just a day after Iraqi officials confirmed that the Sunni rebels had control of a disused chemical weapons facility that was full of discarded rockets containing sarin gas and other deadly nerve agents,” reports Chris Carrington of The Daily Sheeple.
U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has claimed that ISIS is a threat to every stabilized country on Earth. “It is a threat, clear threat, to our partners in that area, and it is imminent,” Hagel said.
It is not clear if Hagel was aware of the nuclear theft when he made his comments.
The White House has yet to respond publicly about the security threat posed by the stolen nuclear material.

I used to think the same way regarding fencing the border, making sure no one can get in. However, I now view the porous border as being something that can work to our benefit.
If conditions should become so intolerable here that you would need to flee the country, a porous border becomes your friend. Fencing the border also fences us in, and at some point the guards manning the guard towers will cease to face outwards and will instead face inwards. When war comes with the federal government, we will need weapons to effectively fight. There are plenty of small arms in private hands, but to fight helicopters, tanks, MRAPs. etc., we will eventually need heavier weapons such as RPGs, heavy machine guns, mortars, and munitions for all of these. Right now, foreign players are standing back; not getting involved. Once civil war begins though, there will be many foreign players looking to help take down Uncle Sam and kick him in the nuts until he cries “no mas”.
That we have porous borders is deliberate. The feds are using unrestricted illegal entry for their own purposes; most likely to facilitate a false flag that becomes the pretext to take the last of our liberty or compels the masses of sheep to bleat for the wolves dressed as sheepdogs to lock down the feedlot so they will be safe from the wolves. There was a story a few years back about a gent who just got out of the doctors office after a radiation treatment. Set off some detectors on a fire truck I believe. Big news story in CA. Given a radiation treatment is a fairly low dose of radiation and is this easily detected, it seems that it would be hard to move this stuff around. I would suspect that Isreal has more complex and sensitive sensors all over their country given they are living with their enemies all around them.

Another thing about the warm ocean temperature from the El Nino. California has only been hit with tropical storms or hurricanes during El Nino times. Let the ocean temperature get up to 80 degrees in southern California and one of those super hurricanes off of Mexico would NOT dimish in temperatures like this. California is at the same latitude as South Carolina and with the ocean warm enough, you could actually get a major category 3 or higher hurricane whacking California. The atmosphere has to be set right to move a hurricane into California because of the topography of the coastline, but it is possible this year.
An earthquake is becoming more and more likely and the animals are sensing this before it happens. Two days ago the same spot off of the Balleny Islands was hit back in November of 1987 and the southern California desert had a 6.6/6.5 earthquake a few days later. It would be interesting to note if anyone near to the San Andreas or that has relatives or friends out there has noticed any unusual animal activity.
For any enrichments of U235/238, there’s really no meaningful radioactive danger from dispersal – it’s on the order of first or second-hand cigarette smoke.

If it is what the reports make it out to be, then I don’t think these guys are going to be able to do much with it.
